Still feel terrible. The swelling is...impressive. |: And I can't open my mouth hardly at all. I can fit a spoon tip in my mouth and not more, so it's still liquids for me. @__@ Even mashed potatoes went unsuccessfully. I can hardly even get a toothbrush in. D8

I feel so whiny but ugh this suuuuckssss.

That sounds awful. Hope the swelling goes down soon though. Keep using them ice packs too. ;) And again, try to take it as easy as possible. :)

So. I'm staaarting to get better kinda! |: Went to the dentist yesterday for a follow up and he said I'm healing much more slowly than is usual. But the incisions are all fine, no infection, no dry socket. (And he took out the bone fragment I found in an incision. >_>) Turns out what the issue is, and why I'm in so much bloody pain, isn't the tooth holes themselves or anything--it's my jaw muscles. =__= Since they stretch your jaw open so wide during surgery, and for so long, it sorta locks up (which is why I can barely open my mouth) and it's those muscles that are all inflamed and giving me a problem.

So I have to work on jaw stretches.

I can almost fit two fingers in now? 8DDD PROGRESS.

Now I just have to work on my appetite. -__- I've lost weight because I barely eat because everything just seems nasty to me right now, so I gotta force stuff down. Ughhh.

The Never King- a king erased from history because of his dabblings in dark magic (among other things...) suddenly because a present day problem when an unlikely group of adventurers 'awakens' him from the grave. I lost 20 lbs in two weeks after my jaw surgery because I couldn't open my mouth. The trick is to drink lots of Boost!  :D

AND BOOST. That...actually sounds like a good idea? I have an easier time drinking liquids because I get thirsty enough. >_> I'll see if someone will pick some up. Eating soup has just gotten gross to me, I think if I look at pudding or mashed potatoes one more time I'll barf, and the macaroni and cheese I'm trying to eat takes so much effoooort since I have to break it up one noodle at a time with my front teeth. Today all I've had so far is yogurt and  a few bites of mac n cheese which... >_> isn't healthy because I realize I'm basically starving myself and I feel weak as a result. |:

;__; I didn't have this much hassle with my appendectomy but that...wasn't mouth surgery. I have determined I am just an absolute WUSS with oral surgery. I generally have a scary-high pain tolerance but apparently this is where all my pain receptors have been hiding. -__-

Strawberry Insure is good too. :) Can't remember if it's spelled with a 'E' or an 'I', so I'm guessing. You must have been feeling bad to not want cake or cookies. I can't imagine me ever getting tired or grossed out by sweets. Although there was that one time when I ate too much chocolate and started to crave a helping of broccoli afterwards. Very weiiiiiird. But that was years ago. :D

Ohhhh man yeah the pain has been so bad I've just lost all interest in food, really. xD;;; Still not into sweets. But I ended up getting Ensure! The chocolate is okay, I like the vanilla better. Haven't tried strawberry yet! I felt muuuuch better once I got some calories in my body, because the last week I'd been getting like...maybe 500 calories a day if I was lucky? :\ That might be a generous estimation. But I instantly felt stronger.

I also had pho last night. 8D I'm a vegetarian but I was feeling so terrible I had chicken broth pho which also helped. The noodles were easy to eat so that was nice. *__*

I think I'm about to legit lose my mind here soon though because my cheeks are still so swollen and sore and my jaw won't open and kdgfghohigh. I go to work tomorrow and look like I've been punched in the face and I don't wanna talk to people and whine whine whine.
