The Vahlok Kaal are a species of shape-shifting dragons that watch over and protect their own part of the world. Most notably towards a certain environment. Monah, the firstborn, were conceived of stardust within the Draconi forest and flew as sphere's of light towards their destined land to protect from which their form manifested from. They are protectors first, and family second.

The Vahlok Kaal are a generational society more akin to a family. Where the Monah are the eldest and wisest. Subsequent generations look to the generations above them in order to achieve an understanding of the world.
Monah- Original, Naturals, Firstborn, etc
RizUn- First generation
RizSein- Second generation
RizThein- Third generation
etc.
Monah- Being the firstborn, the Monah have the most obvious natural resemblance to the environment they protect. All Monah that have not performed a generational passage are 4000 years old. They were born in the Draconi forest from stardust, and were immediately flung to their portion of the world. For any being that was able to witness the birth of a Monah during this time would see only a comet streaking across the night sky.
RizUn- The first generation of Vahlok Kaal. Must be a direct offspring with one parent being a Monah. RizUn are the first in line to receive to duties held by the Monah when they reach their time to pass onto the next reality. This movement of duties is called generational passage. It's an evolutionary process in which a Riz(insert generation suffix here) moves up in lineage to eventually become a Monah.
When a generational passage occurs it is due to one of two instances:
1. The Monah had left the realm they protect and died.
2. The Monah is confident in the abilities of the RizUn and is ready to pass onto the next world.
RACIAL DESCRIPTION To each House their own. All racial features are based off the first Monah for their respected house. During generational passage the generation moving up will develop a modification to their appearance that when they reach Monah will be fully grown.
An air RizThein would have a wing that just starting to grow, but once they reach Monah it would be fully grown. STYLESEach original Monah's family has their own way of dressing and/or expressing their style.

RizUn are responsible for RizSein and so on down the generational ladder. They are a species that live off the land and whatever it can provide. With the most technologically acquainted being near regions such as Connlaoth and Serendipity. (Aka actual homes and such)
HOUSESSince the birth of the first Monah's some 4000 years ago, houses of their respected families have carried on tradition for as long as they can. Each house bears resemblance to the first Monah and the entire livelihood of the house is based of the first Monah.
NAMINGMonah's choose their own name upon birth. Riz(insert genertaion here) take on the first three letters of their Monah's first name and add it onto theirs upon birth.

Pansexual Hyper/MonogamistsSimply put: the first Monah dictates the overall/ average of the proceeding Riz. Should the first Monah be female in appearance and be attracted to other females. The Riz under her will follow that trend. Vahlok Kaal are very promiscuous in nature, but each house is willing to give up said promiscuity should something happen to the house.
If a partner would happen to be of the same gender, the Vahlok Kaal will develop the necessary organs to either sire or dame the child, depending on which role they would like to fulfill. It is not uncommon for a Vahlok Kahl to have many partners.
MAGICMagic is the culmination of their being. Although there most prominent form of magic is shape-shifting. Every Vahlok Kaal starts out as a dragon and over time they develop their own humanoid form. The environment is their main source of influence when it comes to magic. Vahlok Kaal born in Hyoite will typically have more ice and water type magic for example.
RELIGIONThe Vahlok Kaal believe in the prosperity of mother nature. To protect and nurture the very thing that give birth to the first Monah's.
When a Monah dies or passes their duties on, their body manifest's into a representation of them self and the land they once protected.
A forest Monah would become a large tree. The personality of a Monah also plays into their representation when they pass.
A mountain Monah with an ice-cold personality would pass onto to be a mountain with snow at the top, if said mountain is in the desert the snow would melt and become a new water source. A generational passage is considered a grand holiday, with each current Monah coming to celebrate alongside their entire Riz. The ceremony is the grandest part, the current Monah will locate a spot to be put to rest. Afterwards, the Monah and RizUn receiving the passage will hold hands and sing an ancient melody that each Monah chose upon passing. Towards the end of the song, the Monah will begin to glow and slowly fade away. Once the song is completed the Monah only has but a few moments to bid farewell and thus the RizUn will receive his final evolution and be named as the new Monah.
If there is the case of a RizUn not desiring to be a Monah, the proceeding sibling will be offered next. If no other options are available then the eldest is forced to become the new Monah. Currently this has never occurred.
