Orange hair.... how could she possibly hope to track *anyone* with her orange hair? Oh well, it didn't matter. She'd been following him for a while now, and he'd shown no notice of her. Of course, he probably knew she was there, but she refused to admit it to herself. She was a stealthy, sleek, talented hunter, in her mind, and he was her prey..... and prey did not escape a huntress as talented as she.
He was wandering through a part of the forest that she knew well, which was to her advantage. Problem was, he seemed to know it as well as she did, which meant that he probably would know if she made a wrong move. Well, she'd just have to be all the more careful, wouldn't she? His tail flicked back and forth a couple of times, and Alani nearly melted at the cuteness of it. He was just too cute! Did it matter that many of the men in town seemed to feel the same way, especially when her quarry was dressed like a woman? Nope! She simply ignored their affections towards him. Besides, he was *hers* and no one else's. That's why she was stalking him now, because he was hers. Simple as that.
He paused for a moment, and Alani froze, praying he didn't turn around. When he remained still, she started forward slowly, then ducked into the forest. She brought herself level with her prey, staring at his profile. Ohhhhhhh...... sooooo dreeeeaaaaamyyy.... NO! Snap out of it! You are a huntress, and you're....about.... to..... POUNCE!
Alani leapt out of the small clearing in the woods, tackling her prey to the ground as she let out a squee of joy. "BASTIAN!!!"
((Bwahahahaha..... glompdeded.))
