It was a bright, clear day.  People were busy with their daily routines as usual.  The city was full of the overwhelming sounds of haggling vendors, children, birds, conversationists, and the like.  Overwhelming only to those visiting from the outside.  Much like the one standing in the ally; shadowed by the tall buildings from anyone who may pay more attention to her presence than she would enjoy.
Silently she stood and watched; Her 7ft statue had her easily towering above most of the individuals in the streets.  Not to say her being a dragon may aid in her standing out.  Not that she would really care too much, she doubted many would bother her infact.  There were several different species of humanoid and creature intermixed in this location, but for the moment she was content in her shadowy spot.  Occasionaly she stuck her nose into the light, peering her icey white eyes down the streets.  She was a bit hungry, but she had no money.  She had spent most of her life as any Serpent Wyrm does: Dancing around the clouds, watching the world below and taking what food they needed from the lands below.  They had little interection with the world below, but she was tired of just watching from afar.  She wanted a closer look at what this world is like: it's people, it's politics, culture, inhabitants, everything.
So she stood, her ivory fur dancing in what little wind there was.  Watching.

Such noise....

Despite is overwhelming nature, she was able to pick out a more acute sound.  She cast her gaze downwards to observe a small humanoid child at her feet.

What does she want?  Is she not afraid...?

As the little girl studied Swanheart for what seemed a long while, she reached her hand into a pouch 'round her tiny waist, digging for something...

Swanheart began growing impatient with whatever this child was attempting. "You surely can not have any business with me, so why do you not head off elsewhere and leave me be?"
Harsh perhaps, for it was only a child, but she knew little of these beings and their etiquette.  Her words caught the girl's attention, but only long enough to give the Wyrm a timid look.  Finally she found what she had been digging for: a ripe piece of fruit.
Swanheart gazed at her questioningly as the tiny creature extened her hand as high as she could, offering the morsel to the furry dragon.  Swanheart's eyes filled with confusion, for why would this strange child wish to make an offering to a strange, seemingly unkind beast?
"Are you giving that to me?" She asked, receiving an eagerly nodding head for a reply.  "May I ask for your name?"
The girl quickly replied,"Marris!  An' Yers?  You wan' da' fruit er not?"
The dragon let forth a small chuckle, and proceeded to reach her talons forward to take the offering.  Needless to say Marris was a little intimidated by a trio of 8 inch talons headed toward her frail body, but stood firm as the food was taken.
"This one in called Swanheart, and this one thanks you very much, Marris, for you kind gesture."
"Welcome!"  was all she said as she tottered off into the crowd.
As Swanheart watched the child leave, she stepped forth out of the ally, letting herself bask in the warm sunlight.  Her molars gnashing away at the juicy snack, she began to slowly wander down the street...
