Picnic Interrupted

Celcia nodded at Vernious, feeling awkward at doing so to a machine twice her height.  She hugged Sky back and began walking back to the blanket and food.  She waved at the strangers and her charge, praying that the odd distraction would serve to waylay Sky's destructive behavior for at least a while longer.

Tiamat led the way, somehow giving off an aura of being cheerful.  "We'll have to introduce you to Zlaktaa, Mewkoe, and Dynamo," she said happily.  "You'll like Mewkoe.  He's pretty nice."

Taklaaz made a sighing noise through the speaker that delivered his voice, "It's too bad Dynamo is so stiff.  I'm surprised he hasn't lightened up by now, even with Mewkoe as a pilot."  Neither of them brought up Zlaktaa, deciding it was best not to scare away their new friend.
