It was strange to him when the deeper dreams had begun. At first, he just felt drawn naturally towards the eastern shore. But things grew... more complicated that closer to the ocean he got- And so much in fact he wasn't sure he wanted to go any further, but on the other hand...
He knew this was his fate. And though his dreams showed him being swallowed whole by the ocean....
He had to get past the worst of it, his fears and find a way. Because those who walked in dreams were blind, and once you grabbed a hold of something with a direction...
He knew he couldn't let go.
He was a smart boy, strong enough for his age and good looking, agreeable enough; but it seemed not a lot of ships wanted some punk looking kid. It didn't matter how nice he could speak and how polite he was, sailor's didn't want more riff raffs to add to their ranks- especially one who was just a boy and one who had no experience on the sea.
It took him months before there was a ship that came into the harbor, one he had seen in a dream nights before- and when he approached the ship and it's crew, he found out they were going to Thanatos and they welcomed him freely to pass.
The only stipulation was he worked off his passage, room and board when he got there. He gladly agreed, happy to have any vessel that'd take him onward. He was getting strung out by his dreams..
and it seemed the second he was on the sea....
All came calm, even his dreams were peaceful, and tranquil. And he had to wonder just what that meant.
Upon arriving, he was bright eyed and bushy tailed. The city here was bustling and there were so many new sights to see! But his new 'boss' prodded him along, but he was all smiles and agreeable, picking up the crates he was asked to haul and he was making his way through the crowd.
