Physical Description
Olive skinned, Liam was the only sibling to inherit Eamon Teiryn's jet black hair, though his is streaked through with woodsy and emerald greens, with green-gold eyes to match. He's built tall and broad, well muscled from years of working and surviving in the outdoors.

Considering how often he rips- sometimes literally- through clothes, Liam tends to just wear whatever is available to him.

As a wolf, Liam has inky black fur, lacking the green of his human hair, and his eyes take on a bit more of a golden glint. He stands nearly chest high on a grown man, big enough to ride, considering his unnatural strength.

Personality
Shy and soft-spoken, Liam is hardly what would come to mind when a person first thought "werewolf". He is fiercely loyal to those he cares about, even without the pack instinct, but it takes some time before he'll really open up or even begin to actually care about someone outside his family.

Magic/Abilities
Aside from some very latent fae magic in his blood, Liam seems to have no supernatural abilities outside of those granted to him by virtue of being a werewolf (i.e. heightened senses, superior strength and speed, etc.)

For the most part Liam is a human when he's human and a wolf when he's a wolf- albeit a wolf with a human sort of intelligence. However, he also has a "hybrid" form, a mix of man and wolf that manifests as an anthropomorphic beast that seems to have little cognitive function, acting and reacting on instinct.

Luckily, through much trial and error, he's learned to control this transformation. Mostly.

Relationships
Eamon and Nicolletta Teiryn, parents, deceased
Aiden, older brother
Cara, younger sister

History
Eamon Teiryn, an Adelan soldier retired from duty due to injury, met Nicoletta Fairchild some thirty-odd years ago. They settled down in the Serenian highlands and had three children, Aiden, Liam, and Cara.

Magic ran in both their families, though Eamon's magecraft was not his fortitude and he rarely used it. Nicki, however, was half-fae, and she practiced her magic regularly, simply for the sake of it, for household chores, and as a way to make a little extra money selling charms and spells to neighbors and such.

Their two eldest children showed no magical aptitude, but even as a baby it was clear Cara possessed a knack for it. Nicki quickly took over her daughter's training, and it gradually became clearer that Cara's "knack" for magic was in fact a predisposition to immense power.

Her brothers, meanwhile, spent a majority of their childhoods with their father, learning to hunt and fish and fight, both with weapons and barehanded. It was rather stereotypical, all told. Only three years apart, the boys seemed to be a bit closer to each other than they were to her sister- at least until Aiden turned seventeen and Cara eleven.

Already obviously growing into a pretty young woman, Cara appeared older than she was in her younger years, and drew some unwanted attention. After begging her brothers to bring her to a town festival, she was accosted by a young man who seemed not to understand the word "no".

Aiden immediately came to his sister's defense, and as always Liam was barely a step behind him. Not one to be outdone, Cara jumped into the fray, and it seemed she'd actually learned quite a lot just from watching her brothers practice.

The siblings gained a bit of a reputation after that, as well as becoming closer to each other. Unfortunately, a reputation can catch the attention of those you might otherwise rather avoid.

Obviously a skilled fighter, and with fae blood to boot, Aiden was tracked and confronted by a strange man when he and his father were out on a hunting trip. The man offered him great power, immortality, in exchange for his service in what he referred to as "what was to come". Aiden refused, and the man attacked.

Aiden was turned into vampire. Desperate, their parents searched for a cure, but found only more danger and heartache. In a little over a year, the search killed them.

Liam and Cara, now nineteen and fourteen respectively, were left with Aiden to fend for themselves. Despite their elder brother's protests, Liam left to continue their parents' search. He kept in contact, but then one day his messages just stopped.

It took nearly two months before Aiden and Cara heard from him again, and that was when a hungry, hollow-eyed wolf appeared at their door, then collapsed into their brother's form. Liam had been in a small village ravaged by a pack of rabid werewolves, and bitten while trying to defend the people.

Convinced what they were would only bring danger to their little sister, the boys left. Liam traveled to Adela, trying to get a feel for his father's homeland, though he mostly kept to the woods when he could, getting by of his skills as a woodsman and a hunter.
