     · Physical Description ·
Nezhit'yu is a slender, pale skinned seemingly human male with a myriad of runic tattoos decorating much of his body. Bracelets, rings, ancient stories, and magical ceremonies have been recorded on his skin from several hundred years of being alive. He uses his skin as an archive of knowledge that he takes with him everywhere, memories he doesn't want to forget, or lessons so important he wanted them etched on his skin.

His black hair has become bleached from his magic use in places, leaving him striped chaotically. The only real vibrant part of Nezhit'yu are his vibrant, yellow-gold eyes. A trademark of his small vampire clan he comes from.

Nezhit'yu dresses casually, or so he thinks, with a simple cloth shirt, hardy pants made for travel, boots, and a long coat with a plethora of pockets. He's usually accompanied by a small bag that expands marginally inside to hold double what it should for extra travel accessories. With long fingered, almost delicate hangs, Nezhit'yu doesn't seem imposing and he certainly doesn't look the part. Unassuming, if a bit orthodox, he likes that he can be the sort to blend into the background of a room or conversation when the mood or situation fits.


     · Personality ·
Nezhit'yu and those of his small clan are born for destruction of the natural world. It's like they can't help it. Their touch can fester forests and desecrate glades, putrefy fields and mutate the local animal population into half rotting, flesh hungry monsters. It's a drive of theirs to turn the world into the likeness of their pocket realm and ancient home, Krovavyy Dom. In this, Nezhit'yu is relentless and near obsessed. Calculated and cold. He is only at his most comfortable in a bog of rotting trees and the cries of warped songbirds, where the clouds are ever grey and the rain doesn't stop.

While he doesn't burn in the sun and he can tolerate daylight, it makes him moody and snappy. Much preferring rain, wet, and cold. Anything green, pure, and pretty is something he'd really like to get his hands on and fix, in his own way.

At base, Nezhit'yu is cool, almost alien like in his regard for others. Mortal life has very little meaning to him and it's only once he has invested time in something does it become precious, because it becomes his investment. Something that he has put something of himself in. Anything that has become an investment becomes, in a round about way, part of him – or so he sees it – and he doesn't quite understand autonomy or desires that might conflict with his own.

Beyond that, Nezhit'yu sees the world as a swath of potential and cannot help his drive to want to change it. It's a base trait, a bred want, and something that drives him as much as his need to exist.

While he can eat other food and can find some joy in it, raw meat and bloody anything is his preferred meal. It doesn't always have to be dead.


     · Magic / Abilities ·
Nezhit'yu is, best described, as a creature of pestilence and rot. He can exude it with a touch and warp anything of the natural world, essentially feeding off of it and perverting it while he drains it of the life it has. For this very reason, those of his clan are usually hunted down when they settle in an area as it will slowly begin to wither, die, mutate, and rot.

As a sort of vampire, he is quicker than a base mortal, generally stronger, and rather difficult to kill. If in a land of 'his people', someplace desecrated by him, he heals fast, is faster and stronger than normal, and is an all around monster – more so than usual. Sun, sunshine, and too much warmth makes him sluggish ( and moody ). Decapitation is the best way to kill him.

He can, if someone is subdued by him ( pinned in place, held in place, or otherwise immobilized ) use his gift of rot on mortals. It's a domination of their body, in a way, and takes more concentration so it's not something he can do at will or on the fly, but it's an effective questioning method.



     · Relationships ·
Clan Mates : They are few and far between, but they usually respect one another's personal space. They're not an overly attached bunch but will help out one another should a serious need arise. However, this clan is generally loners and need a lot of space to roam.
