The problem with people who say monsters don't really exist is that they're almost never saying it to the monsters.

     · Physical Description ·
Bect is what is known as a perfect shapeshifter. He can take on the form of anything or anyone he can imagine or has seen before - and it doesn't have to be a really cohesive creature. Not to say he could morph into a pile of goo, but he can be boneless monster. He still needs to be able to breathe in some form or fashion.

That being said, Bect largely identifies as a masculine personality - though that doesn't limit him - and he 'relaxes' in variations of the image above. Skin tones change, but he generally looks rugged, slightly unshaven, and his height changes depending on his mood.

     · Personality ·
Bect is a creature of chaos and destruction - but casually so. While fully capable of consuming and destroying entire cities, Bect doesn't generally have the motivation to do so. His evil is usually on a smaller, more personal scale. He is petty, frequently annoying, and willful - doing things because they appeal to whatever sense of humor he has with no regard to who he might maim in the process.

People, or flesh bags as he thinks of and refers to them as, are just that. Fleshy sticks stuck in a form that he has absolutely no regard for. Sometimes, one such flesh bag might intrigue him usually to the detriment of said person and he'll muck about in their life, but his real interests are in things he can't break or destroy with a touch. Other shapeshifters are especially of interest to him. He feels an odd sense of kinship with them - as much as he can with anything - and he'll try to behave. As much as he can. Bect is mildly amused at those that can change form to one or two other things, but he doesn't quantify them as shapeshifters. Only those that can really alter who or what they are do.

He's an elitist like that.

Bect is also drawn to the divine, mostly because it isn't something he can just outright destroy by eating them. Anything with superhuman regenerative properties should probably stay far from him. He really likes munching on said creatures for extended periods of time.

     · Magic / Abilities ·
Shapeshifter : Bect can change his form into just about anything, expanding to great sizes or shrinking into things significantly smaller than himself. If he can dream it, he can do it - and he has a very active imagination.

Healing : It is incredibly difficult to kill Bect. His flesh is hurt the same way most is - sharp objects, fire, crushing - but the damage rarely remains and he's able to regenerate fairly quick. His main weakness is acid. The larger the dose, the better. Submersing him in it is the best way to really hurt him. And piss him off. Prolonged submersion will kill him.

     · Relationships ·
Chey't : A shapeshifter he feels an odd sort of kinship to.

Bect is a monster. I'm not interested in having this monster slain at the moment. Know that any character threaded with Bect in generally in some sort of physical danger.
