If every school had a sarcastic wishing well, then Q was ready to admit that he had been missing out.
The past day seemed to have passed in a whirlwind, quick enough to give even him a little whiplash. Clutching a limp sack of his sparse belongings, the boy stood before the mercy of the famed Wrydwood Academy. Of course, he smiled.
Following the recruiter who had managed to convince Q that he had underlying potential and absolutely needed to attend the school of magic, the male observed his surroundings with wide eyes, and an even wider grin. The adult had told the boy to help himself and take a small tour, while they focused on processing his application and acceptance.
Never one to say no to exploring, Q set off, his gray teacup dragon occasionally chirping from his perch on the boy's shoulder. The violet haired boy unknowingly turned heads, while he observed the architecture and design of the institution. His own attire stuck out sorely, and was vividly reminiscent of a very recent circus home, with eccentric patterns and colors, clashed together senselessly to produce an eye-dazzling effect.
A class had seemed to end, as the halls filled up with a throng of students, and Q found himself caught right in the middle. He beamed brighter, and made sure to cling tightly on his pointy hat. A farewell gift from his magician mentor, the hat was glamoured to portray the wearer's mood, and on Q it emphasized the baffling glee.
Q was amazed at the sheer amount of kids stuffed into one building, were these all students too? He even went so far as to start waving at those that stared too obvious, oblivious to their confusion or disdain.
The crowd was giving him an itch to perform, should he pull out his cards and show off? Q was still unsure of what exactly happened in a school, but if he had been wanted due to his "magic" skills, maybe these kids were all trying to learn the same?
Before the train of thought could continue and entice him to open his bag of tricks and start entertaining right then, Nat flew off from his shoulder and flew over the mob of kids, down the hall. Concerned of losing his only friend, Q put aside the lure of the spotlight for now and pushed past to follow the mini dragon, his grin flashing without rest.
