Physical Description
About average height for a Saranthian, he has mocha colored skin, floppy, curly black hair cropped to his cheeks and sometimes dawns a tiny tail in the back when it begins to get too long. Low sitting, heavy eyebrows hang over glowing, turquoise colored eyes, and the same color is woven throughout his hair in random locks.

Because he smiles often, his skin is already getting smile lines, which only aids in the fact he appears to smile even when he's not. He has thick, pointed lips, stubble ever growing on his face (though he shaves daily, he can assure you!), and a firm, muscled body. Though he's rather flexible too, he does a lot of work outs to keep himself in top shape. He doesn't need to be turning into a flabby vampire now! He does, after all, know he's devilishly good looking.

He tends to wear nice clothing, however, he has a thing for buying cheap and trashy looking trinkets which annoy some of his friends, considering he has a lot of money, but will waste some of it on the bottom of the barrel quality stuff. He even likes his ale cheaper, too. Though that might have been from his days prior to ruling a merchant business.

Personality
Easy to laugh and always seeming to smile, Dao'bachpa is the sort to roll with the punches. He has an easy going personality, taking life in strides and enjoying it where ever he can. Though he's a merchant lord in a complicated network under the ruling of the infamous Opus Dey, he doesn't let that dictate his life all the time. But when business has to get done, he's making sure that it is.

Though he comes off as somewhat of a 'playful' villain, Dao actually isn't all that bad. He has his own limits, especially in regards to his vampirism. He refuses to drink from people, preferring to get his blood from meats and animals. Though to those who deserve a cruel death, he hesitates not to flash and use those pointed teeth!

Magic/Abilities
As a vampire, he is limited to the basic vampire weaknesses and strength.

During the daytime, he can go out, but his strength is greatly limited. He is more or less like any other mortal in this state, and can even die. And he knows the risks are greater, he still enjoys the sun, and for this, he's been able to keep his Saranthian colored skin. It's also one reason it's hard to pin point him as a vampire.

He does need to drink blood in order to live.

He breaks out in a rash from silver, but a cut with it can be lethal.

He actually likes garlic and if someone tries to use it to ward him off, he'll take it down and pocket it ad use it in some soup or other recipe when he returns home.

In the night, he can be exceptionally fast to the point he appears to simply 'teleport' to certain places. His strength also grows at night to that of the strength of six men. His blood lust is also more potent at night, as are all of his senses.

Relationships
Opus Dey - boss

Jada Rein- former lover

History
He won't tell you much about his past, other than he traveled alot. He only met his current 'boss' after he had already become a vampire, and hadn't realized the man knew him from before his change. Surprised Opus Dey was willing to take him into his criminal business, Dao was ready and willing to please. He'd kill if asked for, demand money where it was worth- after all, he agreed to work for Opus Dey on one condition...
That Opus would protect his former lover, Jada Reins, who had broken off her engagement and relationship to Dao upon his change.

He tries to prove to Jada he hasn't changed, but she more or less has shut him out of her life. And Dao fell into a depression once he found out she had become engaged. He puts himself into his jobs whole heartedly, and goes around doing his business, hoping that someday- Jada will see he's still the same, even if he's fallen into the 'wrong crowd'.

And though he could never tell her this, it was for her he had turned into a vampire- for one was lingering outside of her bedroom one night and Dao confronted him and in the end, the vampire claimed him as his own. Though it only took half a year before Dao plotted his death, it still did not win over Jada, who could only see vampires as demons and did not want to fall into his trickery, even as it broke her heart to do so for she and Dao used to be attached at the hip. And she loved him. He could be such a goof ball.
