Physical Description
A brute by stature, the only way to truly describe Grave, as he prefers to be called, is a freak of nature.  Or rather, a perversion of nature.  Human would be the least applicable term, and while may have been once human or of a race of near humans, this indeed is not presently so.  He stands like a man defeated, or with little to no self-esteem, shoulders hunched over and his head usually staring at the ground.  If he could stare, that is.

In terms of his flesh and facial features, Grave has a very morose-looking face, like he’s constantly having a bad day.  And while this may be true half the time, he generally cannot do much about his expression.  His skin is swarthy as if it had been smoked for years before finally being let out into the open, and the spaces where his eyes would be are often shut from the rest of the world (he has this thing about walking around with his eyes closed).  He has a heavy brow that, when he keeps his lids shut, seems as if his eyes are nothing more than slits, unable to see anything.  The fact his, however, that his eyes are gone, only to be replaced with small, blue flaming orbs.  To the touch, the flames are incorporeal; however, they work just like normal eyes and beyond.  He feels he has plausible reason to keep his eyes shut.  Who wants to see flaming orbs in a person’s head?  These orbs have the ability to change color depending on how he is feeling, though most often they are blue.

His brow is therefore almost always furrowed and as if he is squinting.  His short red hair, which stands on end in tufts as if alit, is tied back in a short-lengthed ponytail that stands on at an angle on his head.  Think the Akuma hairstyle from Street Fighter and you’ll get the general gist of it.

As characterized by his brute-like stature, Grave is quite large and bulky in appearance and equally tanned all over.  His body is quite humanish in form with appendages proportionate to his size, bulging as his muscles are, with the exception of his guts area.  Along the center-line of his abdomen is a series of teeth-like clasps that clamp together as if they were fangs interlocking.  They are a natural part of his body as they are made of bone.  This, to say the least, is how he eats, directly through his stomach.  The clasps are, in fact, teeth that hold this other mouth together.  This mouth is made to consume both physical and incorporeal things (favorite snacks include but are not limited to: kittens and other small animals, snakes, birds, people’s heads, and he also uses it to consume meandering souls as well, absorbing them).  His stomach acts more than just a second mouth; it can in fact be used as a weapon where in the teeth lunge out and stab in addition to being able to grasp things and yank them in to be consumed.  Upon opening, what is revealed inside are not bowels as might be expected, but rather a portal of sorts.  Essentially, his stomach is a portal to another realm.

Being a large being over all, Grave stands out like a sore thumb; and his clothing choice doesn’t help matters either.  He does not go for gaudy outfits as there are actually few clothes that fit the fellow.  In fact, he does not own many clothes at all.  Like the few things that belong to him, they are apart of him and are regenerative if torn or tattered.  He wears a breastplate of an unknown material but of a dragonscale design.  This defends his chest only, leaving his belly exposed, but attacking his guts would be a very bad idea.  Beneath the breastplate is a light, cloth tunic with the sleeves cut off to allow better arm movement.  On his legs are loose-fitting pants which are tied by a length of roped beads and are shredded down by his ankles and on his feet are heavy boots that strap up his legs midway to his calf.

Personality
Unlike most servants, or creatures created for obedience, Grave does not speak when spoken to.  In fact, he hardly speaks at all and will respond to questions and statements with a series of groans and grunts.  This however, does not mean he is incapable of speech.  He just chooses not to, knowing that he does not have much that is interesting to say.  His lack of words, and quite possibly eloquence, often gives people the impression that he’s a mute, and, worse yet, is quite dumb.  He’s not open yet nor is he naïve; especially to the matters of his surroundings.  He’s very aware of himself and of others, often capable of telling another’s intent without the need to speak to them thoroughly.  Though he’s a giant by physical standards, he’s more than gentle enough to interact with others on a daily basis and fulfill any task set out before him.  He’s hardly one to be cuddled, but, on occasion, he’d more than welcome the cuddling.

Though it is difficult to gain his trust, it is not so laborious to gain his services.  Since he came to the earth realm, he had but one intent in mind: To carry out the tasks of his master/mistress.  He was made to be a servant, and was constructed to have few thoughts beyond that.  And this also expounds on the first impression that Grave has no mind of his own, or a mind at all; but in fact he does have a mind and thinks deep thoughts.  He just never feels the need to express them.  Though he was built to carry out tasks that especially surround those that need protection, mercenary work done, or seeking out someone, during his existence he developed habits from observing the living creatures around him, imitating them (including drinking, eating, and even sleeping) and eventually mastering menial tasks.

Because he’s live such a long time (and CAN), he’s had many despots whom he got rid of personally and/or left them when he felt they no longer needed his services.  Though he was built to serve and essentially searches for a new leader constantly, he maintains a tight hold on his free will because he was embedded with an underlying task whose importance exceeds the importance of all others: To retrieve souls and bring them back to Cadameris.

Grave knows not who his maker was, only that he was once alive and is now very much undead.  He cares little to know about his past or where he came from, but he is very in tune with his inherent need to be avenged about something.  He does not accept being wronged and accepts the phrase that “vengeance is best served cold”

Magic/Abilities
?Soul Eater: Consumes the souls of the living, either the recently deceased or lost souls.  This both serves as a means of sustenance in addition to them being transported back to his realm via his stomach-mouth thing.
?Does not wield conventional weapons and instead fights with a sanctified headstone that's in the shape of an 'X.'  He is chained to this headstone and it serves as both his weapon of choice and a reminder of his own demise.  Ultimately, this proves to be quite an effective flex-ten weapon.
--The headstone is a hallowed object and because Grave is considered, technically, to be an incarnation of evil, contact with it has singed his vulnerable flesh on a number of occasions.  Even the X shape of the headstone is impressed into his back.
?Stone skin: The ability to harden his flesh, becoming immune to physical harm.  Does not defend against magical attacks.
?Super strength: c/s
?Dexterity
