CH. I – Painting a Portrait
He’s tall and well-built, muscular to aid in his work; and it helps to look a little intimidating as well.  Hadrian’s hair is shaved along the sides of his head, and around the back, and pushed back out of his face, usually oiled back.  He rarely has time to shave, so he usually has stubble growing on his face.  He’s fairly handsome, with tanned skin, and rugged features, eyes somber, and a bright blue, unusual for an Adelan.

He generally wears utilitarian clothing, reinforced leather armor, and worn, comfortable leather boots.  He also tends to wear a set of fingerless gloves, with a leather bracer strapped around his left one, and hands wrapping around his forearm on his right.

+ NOTABLE MARKS +
He has a few scars here and there on his upper arms, and claw-mark tattoos across his right shoulder-blade leading down to his back.

CH II – Persona
Hadrian is a loyal man, obedient to his superiors and common sense.  He values what few friendships he has, though even those can’t be considered true ‘friendships’ as he keeps most people at arm’s length.  He’s amicable, friendly but never personal and never overly casual.  A job does not require joking camaraderie; it requires professionalism and discipline, both of which he has in spades.

It isn’t to say he doesn’t know how to have a good time; he makes a point to keep business and pleasure separate.  But he’s usually stuck on business.  He’s a listener rather than a speaker, but isn’t afraid to speak his mind when need be, and is quick to put someone in their place when they’re being a moron.

+ FAITH +
Religion has never been, and likely will never be a big part of his life.  He doesn’t like to talk about it either and will be thankful of anyone that keeps it to himself.  If there are any gods to this world, they’re the kind that pick favorites.

+ HABITS +
He’s the vigilant type, always looking around.  He likes animals too, and likes to spend time up in trees, for safety reasons, studying and drawing them, usually  birds, wild cats, or even wolves.  He drinks a bit, usually alone, and smokes on occasion, but has been trying to quit for some time.

CH III – Social

+ RELATIONSHIPS +
  Under Construction

CH IV – Abilities / Skills
+ HAND-TO-HAND +
He learned to fight when surviving on his owns, but didn’t get to become really good at it until he joined the Mountain Cats.  He fights dirty, using just about anything to get the upper hand.  He’s fast, even for a man his size, and likes to throw people into submission.  And if not, pinning them to the ground works just fine for him.  He also wrestles.

+ ROGUE +
Adept in all rogueish things.  He’s good at sneaking and acrobatics and can run with the best of them.  He has very good hearing, and can listen to a pin drop a mile away in the dead of night.  Okay that might be exaggerating, but he can hear the tumblers moving in a lock like nobody’s business, and can crack most of them open with ease.  If that doesn’t work, there’s always his boot heel.

CH V – Gear / Equipment

+ KNIVES +
Blades of any kind earn his favor, but the ones he likes the most are the throwing knives attached to his belt, along with the other tools of his trade.  He can knife-fight, and is pretty good at throwing them.  He has a short sword he keeps attached to his thigh, and is his main weapon of choice in close combat.

CH VI – Reflections of the Past
He used to be called Samson Alderic, only son to a poor farmer that worked on an estate of a lord in Adela.  Life was boring, filled with hard work and more work, and after you slept, there was some more work to do.  His mother passed away when Samson was just a boy and what little money wasn’t spent on food, was instead spent on drink.  There wasn’t much of a relationship between father and son, when he wasn’t telling him to work, he ignored the boy.

He once thought he loved him, as any father should love their son, but he soon realized that was a lie when his father sold him to the lord that owned their land, in order to repay the large debts he incurred in his service.  Samson was horrified that his father would betray him like that, so he left before he could deliver.

He was only eleven at the time, a boy too young to fend for himself.  How he came from there to joining the Mountain Cats is something he would never talk about.
