Kald smiled, " Thank you, I am Kald, Kald Rannwar  Do you want more food? take some,  I can always find more.   " He motioned to a couple containers made of wood and leaves, holding berries and the like.   He didn't know what she might do for a living but he thought she might want  to get back as it was getting late.

"So Orenda, do you have some place to get back to? It is getting late and if you don't head back soon you might end up alone in the dark and I can't have that. Or I suppose I can escort you back if you want.  as I wouldn't be able to rest until I knew my new friend was safe. "
He didn't want her to go, as her company was nice, it was just that he didn't want her in a dangerous position due to his selfishness.

"No, but thanks for offering," Orenda said softly before looking up. She just knew it was go to start to rain. "Yes, I have a small little place, rather close " she replied standing.
"You could still walk me there, if you wanted too anyways " she spoke, looking down. She could almost already feel the rain on her skin, she knew she knew it would start raining before they got to her small little dwelling.

"I think it's about to rain soon though, I can just feel it in my bones," she spoke softly, chuckling to herself. So she turned in the direction in which her small home was, waiting to see if he was going to follow her.

Kald sighed as he looked up and saw the signs of rain.   He smiled, and spoke "I think I will then" He said as he walked towards her.  Rain was wonderful when you weren't outside in it.  Well even then it was still nice for a little bit. He would keep a lookout for a good  tree to stay under until it stopped. He smirked realizing he was worried about her and the rain and didn't have any way out of it himself. Well he would just find a nice tree to stay under. They stopped most of the rain.  He followed her as he didn't yet want to part company with his new friend. " I am glad you stopped by, it has been a while since i have had the pleasure sharing the company of anyone. " He smiled as it started to sprinkle.

Orenda started to run while laughing as it started to rain, her small house wasn't far. Once under the edge of the roof she looked up at Kald, she was drenched.
"I'm glad I stopped as well," she admitted with a bashful smile, her hands figetting at her waist. She wasn't use to talking to people, and had never really said goodbye to anyone. She usually just up and left, but she wasn't running this time.

"Maybe we will see each other again," she said looking down.

Kald smiled  " Well farewell, I shall be in the area for a while so just look for me training.  I haven't much else to do. "  He turned and left looking for that tree he thought he saw  earlier while they ran.  He was soaked already, he made it part of the way back and found a fir tree he could get under.  And crawled under it hoping the rain would stop soon.

Orenda watched after him for a while before stepping into her one room shack with a shiver. She quickly started a fire to warm herself up. She thought about Kald, and how cold he must be. Orenda rarely tied to people, so when she did she got attached rather quickly, she didn't care that he was an elf or not.

Then thoughts of Klad led to thoughts of her family, how she missed them, and how if they knew about her standings, they would probably be disappointment. She did t have the luscious curves that her mother and sisters had, she wasn't married, she wasn't the best fighter, and most of all she was a Mage.

Kald sighed and looked around his tree. He found a tree he didn't have to crawl under and moved,  He found some dry timber and started  a little fire to warm himself up. He was soaked to the bone and covered in dirt and needles.  He laughed at his state and went into reverie. Kald just wanted the rain to stop.   He liked it out here, He was left alone by trouble makers and he hoped he could find a chance to find friends and establish himself.  So he had friends and family to protect.

Orenda stared in to the fire for a long time, her mind deep in thought, memories, hopes and dreams. Finally though, exhaustion took over and called her to her little excuse for a bed. It was warm at night, that's all that mattered. She crawled into it, thankful that her cloths had dried rather quickly when she was sitting by the fire. She started her simple routine before drifting off to sleep, adding a new name to the list. "Good night mother and father, sisters and brothers, and Kald," she whispered softly.

Kald only left reverie after it had stopped raining and the sun had come out. He looked at the mud and such covering him and sighed. He found a nearby stream and stripped of his clothes and began to wash off all the dirt. As he did so, Kald listened to the birds chirping and the various animals as they woke up and ventured forth for the day. He grabbed his spare clothes from his bag only to realize they were wet as well. So he sat on the side of the stream, mostly naked, just his loincloth on with his clothes on some trees. He couldn't believe his luck and only hoped no one came upon him in this state.

Orenda woke up shortly after dawn, her small fire had gone out and a slight chill had snuck in. She stretched and stood, planning on going to the small stream to clean up a bit. She headed to the stream, humming to herself as she walked slowly, enjoying the sounds of nature that surrounded her. When she happened upon Kald she quickly turned on her heels. Her face turning a bright red.

"Oh sorry," she spat out, her words just coming. She would have rather just turned and left with out him knowing she had seen him in such scarce clothing.

alex_xr

Kald ducked behind a bush with his elven speed and turned a bright red. He didn't know what to say... " its fine... " He didn't know what else to say..   He then grabbed his clothes and put them on still a little wet, making his way toward Orenda, still red. " There we go... I suppose I will just let them dry while I wear them." He smiled, recovering himself a bit. " Are you up to anything today? "

Kald wondered because he figured they could do something fun together. He thought he might have an good friend here.

Ycharley

Orenda had a hand up, coving her eyes slight, her face still a bright red. "Um, no I have most of my work for this week done " she replied softly, not wanting her voice to break and make the situation any more awkward.
"Do you often sit on a back so close to being nude?" She asked softly before she decided to turn around. That was the closest to nude she had ever seen a man. Orenda kept her eyes low, looking at the ground, fearing her blush might get worse then it already was.

alex_xr

Kald couldn't believe that she had stumbled across him.  " I am sorry, I don't usually do that, but my clothes got dirty last night under a tree, and i went to wash them and change only to find my extra clothes wet as well, So I was drying them all, hoping no one would come around. "   He crouched down  so they could see face to face. " Do you want to have some fun then? We can go visit a town.. explore the area, gather some food and have a grand feast, What ever you want"  He  smiled at the girl, his face still red.  " it will be fun, and plus I would love to get to know more about you. "

Ycharley

Orenda sighed softly, she didn't have anything better to do. Though hanging around an elf could bring unwanted attention, but where he was clearly a warrior maybe not. He seemed to be a gentlemen, which was good.

"Well I know the area pretty good, considering I live here, the next town is a full days travel away," she spoke, walking past him, kneeling by the stream, seeming to be washing her hands and face. She sat back on her heels for a moment, thinking about what would be fun to do.

alex_xr

Kald smiled " Well, I am up for an extended trip to town if you are, or... "  he thought for a moment, something spur of the moment, but then remembered magic was disallowed. and neither of had the ability either.  " We could go hunting, and prepare our selves a feast " He thought about some other things. " if you need any repairs done around your home, I can help with that , or we can explore for treasure, and maybe find something unique."  He was suprised he offered the repairs but then thought of her by her self and guessing that she wasn't good at that sort of thing. Though he lacked the tools to do anything too major...

Ycharley

Orenda stood, turning to face Kald. "I've been on my own long enough that I've learned to manage repairs, if I didn't there wouldn't be a shack there," she said looking down with a blush. She paused, seeming to to consider something.

"Well I do need to go to town to sell my blankets and rugs," she spoke out loud, more to herself then to Kald. "Or you could go hunting and I can gather, because I'm not much for killing things," she contined to think out loud.

alex_xr

Kald put his hand to his face in thought for a moment. " How about I hunt a few things, you gather and then we make for town? I can help take your stuff over, and I can sell some furs and things.  "  He thought about his cache near by.  He could grab some things to sell as well. He thought it might be the best idea yet.  " Of course this means you would have to put up with me for an extended period of time  I hope it won't be too terrible." He smirked at her.  He was having fun here, He might just stay here for a while.

Ycharley

"Sounds like a plan," She spoke softly giving Kald a small smile.
"Would you like a blanket? It would only seem polite to give you one, sense you have been so nice," She asked looking down at the ground bashfully. She started to wonder why he was traveling around, he would never have anyone to protect if he continually moved around. She also wondered what really brought him to Connloath, not many elves traveled there simply because of the discrimination they received.

alex_xr

"I would love one, how much? " he asked with a smile before taking off " Meet you back at your hut in 2 hours. " Kald made it back to the clearing and packed upt some stuff and then made it to his cache, moving quickly through the forest.  Dropping off his bag, he found his bow, and strung it. He had made it himself and it shot straight.

Kald stalked the woods, slowly making it a ways from where they had been the last few days.  He was looking for anything from a rabbit to a deer,  He slowly traversed the woods, carefully avoiding leaves, and branches.  He didn't hunt much but had learned how from his  home as any elf would have. He saw a fox, It was beautiful, of course it had somehow smelled him and took off. The chase was on.

Kald quickly followed the thing, jumping over fallen logs, and gracefully moving through the forest.  He couldn't believe he had been upwind. He  finally had a shot and fired. hitting the fox but not killing it. He stopped, out of breath,  He fired another shot and killed it just in time.  After taking his time Kald found his way to the fox and began his skinning.

Ycharley

Orenda shrugged off his question, deciding she would trade him something for it. She nodded to meeting back in 2 hours before turning to return to her hut to retrieve a basket. Once she had her large gathering basket she set out into the woods.

She slowly picked berries, making sure she was avoiding anything that would have any negative effects. Once she had enough berries and fruit in general she started picking herbs. She found a few wild vegetables which she threw in the basket, figuring she could do something with it once she  returned home.

Orenda returned to her hut with plenty of time. Setting up a fire outside, and setting up her heavy metal pot. She started making  a stew, adding the starchy vegetables and waiting for Kald to return.
