"Goodness!" She popped open her parasol, bracing herself beneath it from his barrage of attacks, wincing lightly at each one of them.

"Do quell your temper, sir. If you have found my presence here to be against any code of ethics, I suggest you read your letter again! It was clearly defined in the letters you were sent three days ago that you can stand a trial to pardon," she pressed. Really, did he honestly think she was just going to pry him needlessly from his home? He had three days to appeal his case!

"And there wouldn't have been a call of alarm from the counsel had you not slaughtered innocents on these grounds." Victoria sighed, growing tired of this. "Be reasonable!" she shouted over her parasol, but then gasped as she watched him charge her like an animal again.

She barely swept out of his way in time, skirts tossled in the wind of the force of his body racing by, mere inches from her own.
"Sir, calm yourself this instant!"s he shouted, an angered stomp to her foot and another point towards him with her open parasol. "If you love this place so dearly, let me remind you again there are ways you can stay." she huffed. "Many  of your kind are living just fine within the orders and you can easily do the same!"

Really, was there no reasoning with this wolf!? Here, she tried to be civil, yet all he seemed to want to do was tear out her throat!

He landed with a hard scrape on the ground and climbed to his feet.  "I'll tear your skin off with my teeth!" he cried.  All hope was lost.  "You'll have to kill me to get me out of here.  I'm not leaving.  This is mine.  You're the only one who doesn't seem to understand that."  Urich stood up and dusted himself off.  He looked to Robern and nodded.  "Call out the hounds."

"Yes, sir."

The castle began to rumble and there was a sharp array of howls that peirced the air and out of the shadows appeared thirty hounds, wolves of the forest their eyes boring into Victoria for all she was worth.  "Kill her," Urich commanded.

The wolves obeyed his very words and charged her, teeth gnashing with slobber and hunger.

Victoria stared at the man and his claims, furrowing her brow and holding secure her parasol and hat.

"Don't blame me for following protocol!" she snapped. "This is my first-" No, she stopped it there, realizing it would only harm her status to reveal this was her first (and probably, after this shenanigan) only job.  "And I was only coming here under strict jurisdiction. Have you lost your sense of reasoning? Really?" Her face was hot and pink as she squared off her shoulders, even her breasts, barely held captive beneath her garb, were subject to the blush as well.  The good squaring off her shoulders would do now as the man went to call his hounds.

"You'd sick your dogs after me!?" she stared at him, appalled. "You sir, are a scoundrel! Call them off at once so we can discuss this as civilized beings!"
But it was too late, and the dogs were already coming after her.
She backed away in alarm, then cried over towards Frederick.
"My bag! Toss me my bag!" ANd the zombie, who was some what subdued, though, he really did not hold much of a fight against the ghouls, groaned and simply obeyed.

"Yes, Miss Armani," and he tossed the parcel her way.
She caught it fiercely, but the contents seemed to spill out as she gasped, the dogs upon her.

"Frederick!"s he cried out, feeling the animals bite into her arms as she scrambled to find..
but there it was, against the fury of maws and lashings, the cold bottle of powder and before she knew it she cried out, tossing the jar open and thrusting her arm out amongst their wild rage.

and the powder fell down around them like snow..
and the hounds, sudddenly whimpering tot he ground, faded away into soft, sweet puppies as their bodies wriggled in delight.

Panting, her heavy chest, heaving.. heavily,(ooc: lol..) she looked down at the cute little beasts as one licked at her bloodied cheek. With her dress and hair a mess, she slowly pushed herself off of the floor, glaring daggers over at the other man as she tossed her parasol over her arm and thrust him a shot of arrogance from her mouth.
"YOU SIR!" she bellowed, words echoing across the room. "Have hardly seen the last of me!"
Panting, she began to toss her things into her bag, though it was proving difficult as the little pups continued to lick and prod at her with their love.

"Get down, you little beasts, go to your master." except they didn't want to, and all of their fat little puppy bottoms sat on the ground before her, staring at her with adoring eyes.
Victoria groaned and placed a hand to her head.
"Really now, this is ridiculous.." but she fetched the thing she knew they wanted from her satchel and tossed the wad of meat away, it landing with a smack onto the ground.

The puppies all barked and rushed for it.
Victoria only sighed and went back to fetching up her bag.

"Dogs.." she grumbled, referring to all of them, not just the pups..

Urich grinned as the wolves charged in for the kill.  They would tear her to pieces.  Though they were not wolves of the supernatural variety, they sensed the power that lurked in his gifts, and obeyed his every command, and were often fed with the blooded meat of the foolish travelers who meandered this forbidden fortress.  She would rue the day she came into Sul'Gulthan!

He laughed manically, overjoyed that at last he would be rid of this annoying woman, and raised his hands in triumph!

Until he heard the whine and whimper of happy puppies.  His face blanched, his arms still raised, as he saw the doggies surrounding Victoria, licking her happily.  He frowned immensely and his arms fell.  "What did you do to my wovles!?" he howled in indignation.  Urich fell on his butt as a few of the puppies came scampering toward him, whining for attention.  "PUPPIES?  WHY PUPPIES?"  He cried and held two of them to his breast, hugging them hard.  And they howled along with him!

Finally after much humiliation, he climbed to his feet, wiping his eyes, holding a little dark-haired, white socked, yellow-eyed pup in one arm as he stalked back to his throne, hunched over.  Urich scowled at Victoria as he sat down again.  The ghouls promptly released Frederick.

"GO ON GET OUT OF HERE YOU STUPID WENCH!" He wailed.  "You've caused enough trouble for the day!  Go on and bring your stupid counsel...  But I promise, I'll have the last laugh."  Urich howled to himself, the pup howling along with him.

"You know where the door is!"

Victoria only gave one last glare to him before throwing her chin up high, jutting her chest out and storming out of there.

"The counsel will hear of this!" ANd with that, she slammed the door, the noise echoing on her way out.

Though the counsel did hear of it, and the response wasn't what she had desired.  She was ridiculed not only by her Aunt Millicent, but by the elders there as well.  They were still in the midst of discussing the matter when the counsel began to debate over the validity to expel the wolf from the land.

"He blantantly ignored the letter," Millicent reminded. "And although we have ignored it from sometime, it only proves that this is our responsibility. We'll have to do a major clean up here." Then she turned to her niece and sighed. "Victoria, please understand why we'll want you not to participate. It will only complicate the matters and we want to keep peace, not war."

"I think that werewolf thinks other wise," Victoria retorted, but a sharp glare from her aunt had her silent again.

"No, no, this time we'll invite him to the counsel to discuss this over tea."

"Over tea!?" Victoria stood up suddenly.

"Victoria, mind your manners and your turn. Now be seated!" her aunt scolded.

Victoria was too hot and bothered by it to obey.

"You can not invite that animal here!" she cried.

"Victoria, really. We are not here to make enemies. We need to make amends and hear his side of the case.  He also must be persuaded, and perhaps while inside the confines of the counsel.."

"He cares little for our counsel or it's laws!" Victoria snapped. "He didn't even know about us! Acting as ignorant as a child!"

"Yes, all the more reasons we ought to bring him in. If he's a truly wild werewolf, we'll have to force him to be displaced if he can not oblige the laws." her aunt sighed. "And this is the end of the discussions, Victoria. Have a seat and behave."

She couldn't believe it, would NOT believe it. To think, they were going to hold an evening to listen to that ruffian! She felt her blood broil and churn, but bit into her lip, kept to her seat and tried to think of other things as the meeting continued...

but all she could think about was that god damn werewolf!
She saw her self home that evening, not wanting to take the carriage.
The long walk would do her some good, and the cool evening breeze did wonders to cool her face as she began a long strided walk towards her manor.

Without her valet, she was finally able to be alone- and watched, bitterly as the carriage carrying her aunt disappeared.
She was actually surprised her aunt allowed her to go unescorted, but perhaps her Aunt understood her best of all...

Yes, the long walk was needed indeed as she sighed in spite of herself, and continued onward towards her home.

OOC: Hopefully not too many typos in this post this evening XD

Perhaps being unescorted was not the wisest decision, he thought as he observed from the underbrush.  It was not often Urich left the decadence of his home to follow prey from afar.  He was not comfortable, cold and wet, having traveled far from the ruins of Sul'Gulthan to eye the annoying woman from afar.  His vision was sharper than the average man and as he huddled in the mud, he could see her walking toward a larger keep of her own.

"So this is where the bitch lives.  Hm, she does well for herself...probably on her back all day," he thought with a great deal of venom.  Urich did his best to contain his urge to pounce her by surprise and gouge that pretty face of hers off and make her eat it.  He grinned a little, satisfied at the thought.  But even that brutality was too good for her.  She wanted to make his life a living hell...  He'd invade her home like she did his!

Urich followed her like a shadow, coated in the scent of another man's clothing, stolen from a stupid merchant who was too drunk to know anything went missing, and buried himself in dirt and mud and grass, tailing her as she walked calmly to Armani Keep.

Half the day was spent, perhaps more by the time Victoria had dragged herself back to her home. The Armani Manor was hardly something to scoff at, a nice, large house, boasting two tall levels with many rooms and a small garden outside with an area designated for the possibility of an afternoon tea. An ornate, tall iron fence guarded the outside, as she flicked the latch open on the gate and was surprised to be greeted by Frederick.

"Frederick, what on earth are you doing her?" she inquired.

"Miss Millicent had seen you approach. She wanted me to greet you," the ghastly man said, bending over so she could see some of the rotting holes in the side of his head.  Victoria made a face. No matter how often she was exposed to her Zombie valet, her servant, she could not get used to the fact he had worms crawling under his skin and he had pieces of his body just falling off.
Drawing in a breath, she simply nodded.
"Well I am home and well now,"she simply stated.
The zombie nodded his head.
"She was afraid of the shadow that was lurking behind you," the valet informed.
"Shadow?" Victoria's face twisted before she turned over her shoulder- but saw nothing. "Probably just the shadows playing on her old eyes."
Sighing, Victoria passed her valet. "Frederick, I'm going to retire for the night, but would like a fresh cup of tea and if dinner hasn't already been decided, I would like duck this evening."

"Yes, my lady," the man said, bowing to her, then looking back towards the woods just outside the road. He frowned, but turned around, closing the gate with a creak and followed after.

Once inside, Victoria unbound her bonnet, casting it aside and made off towards her room.
Her aunt was waiting for her at the top of hte stairs, but she ignore her, simply walking past.

"How was your walk?" the woman inquired, arms folded across her chest.

Victoria sighed, pausing only once before continuing.
"Tiresome. I would like to rest peacefully.. and quietly, before dinner. I asked Frederick to make duck."

Her aunt nodded, shaking her head and just let Victoria be. They could discuss what happened today at dinner.

Once inside her room, Victoria threw herself onto her bed and let another, long winded sigh escape her.  She felt a fool, and troubled over everything. To think, just one man stood in her way of showing those at the counsel she was worthy-
and now any bit of her deserved title was being taken away- as if to be scattered to the four winds and never be seen again.  Yes, it definitely was an unfortunate turn of events and as she lay upon her bed, she felt something press onto the mattress.

With swiftness, she pulled a dagger from her skirts and turned-
"Bernard!" she put the knife away with a sigh. "You silly cat, why on earth do you feel the need to startle me?"
But the black cat simply replied with a purr, moving forward as it nuzzled against her hand. Victoria found herself chuckling affectionately at the gesture.

"Well now, don't be so demanding now. I only have so much love to give," she teased her cat, scratching him beneath his chin.  Shivering, she felt the wind  pull in from an open window, but feeling too tired, she just let it be and dropped back onto the bed, allowing her cat to continue to purr beside her as she scratched behind his ears.

Afte ra time, she had nearly dozed off to bed, but found herself awaking with a start and grumbling, rubbing at her eyes sleepily before getting up from her bed and fussing over her dress.
"Bah, so constricting,"s he griped and moved towards her closet after fussing over a few loose strings on her corset. Now that the dress was loose, she felt herself breathing with ease as she sighed, and went about fussing through her selection.

She didn't want something so prudent, and let the dress finally slip away when she found another dress more appropriate-
A deep, ash colored dress with a low cut int he front and a collar that fit snuggly around her neck with a silver clasp.
It had a corset, but she'd call for the maid to tighten it as she began to slip on the dress in front of her full bodied mirror in the corner of her room and took a moment to admire herself, only to frown.

So she had a nice figure, most men would say, her breasts nearly bursting from the confines of such a dress...
but her face. She touched her cheeks.
It was too long and her lips, too flat nad her eyes, nothing too impressive. Her nose, might have even been a tad too large for her own liking and only at certain angles, angles that she began to strike in the mirror, made her feel like a pretty lady at all.

Sighing, she went over towards her desk and took a seat before it and began to spritz some perfume across her form, only idly staring at her face and not knowing much else to do with it. Make up and rouge could only do so much....  Sighing, she moved to rise, knowing her corset needed tightened up the back and that she ought to call a maid in to help-

All the while Frederick was informing the cook staff to have the duck and tea be ready soon.

"Yes, the food will be ready soon. And the soup and salad as well." A large, wide hipped maid swatted towards Frederick. "Now git yer decaying body out a' this kitchen before yer eye falls inta' the soup again!"

Urich breathed to keep his patience as he tailed Victoria's frustratingly slow pace.  If only she could make it to the house faster!  The wolf in him was eager to get rid of her then and there but there was no telling just how and where she had more of that strength-sapping power.  He had no idea where that came from and frankly had never even heard of these so –called 'Negotiators'.  As far as he was concerned they were just a group of bullies who used the word 'peace' as an excuse to push their weight around, sending meddling women into places they clearly didn't belong.

It wasn't like he was hurting anybody!  He kept to himself!  Didn't wage war – not that he had the resources to wage it.  He didn't steal from snot nosed nobles.  He didn't rape women.  He didn't plunder tiny worthless villages.  All he did was eat a few travelers who were stupid enough to get caught behind his gates!  He even treated them like royalty!  Gave them all the food and drink they wanted, told good stories, sang good songs and even offered them a place to sleep.  Sometimes if he was a little hungry, he had a midnight snack that was all!  Some even went on their merry way and were sure to call on him again sometime.

Those were the ones that didn't look to appetizing anyway.

How could this woman dare invite herself into his domain and accuse him of being a monster!?  The gall...  In any other moment he might have respected such boldness, but in this case it just sickened him.  Urich thought quite highly of himself; in fact, he was a very nice man.  He wouldn't have called himself a monster.  Maybe she didn't know it yet, but he was determined to show her who the real monster was.

The front gates were far too easy a target and just as easy to get caught at.  He waited several minutes before going around to the side, watching for footmen and scaled the tall iron pikes that served as the gates with relative ease, ensuring to leave no trace of him behind.  His attire of choice was form-fitting, tight leather trousers and soft shoes as opposed to boots and short-sleeved tunic and vest-like piece that went down to his hips.  The leather belt was a nice touch too.  Simple, but well...fashion was the last thing on his mind.  And it certainly didn't help that he intentionally rolled around in the moisture of a grassy knoll in order to mask his smell.  The woman obviously had some wolf blood of her own.  Or maybe he just needed to bathe more often.

But he was a true mudman in his disguised, covered from head to toe in it earthen darkness evening fell.  He landed in the gardens when he was over the gate and when the coast was clear he cross the path carefully, looking for any open avenue inside, but alas as he saw, two stories up, there was a window open just slightly.  It was too perfect of course, but he wouldn't just pop right in.  He crouched low and gathered all the strength he could into his legs before vault up to the window sill with no problem, latching to the edge of it with his bare hands.  Slowly he lifted his head up to peer over it and saw the bitch sleeping in the bed with a goddamned cat beside her.

"Stupid cat," he thought and took another leap to reach for the roof.  He waited there for several hours, keeping quiet and waiting.  He peeked down from time to time, holding himself from the roof and peeking through the curtains to see if she had gone.  She was changing in front of the mirror.

"Good gods, even I don't take that long to dress," he whispered to himself when he was back on the roof.  Would she ever leave the room?

The duck was delicious as usual, but Victoria found herself picking at her food.  She was ever so distracted, and the conversation her Aunt was holding wtih her was of idle interest.

"Really, Victoria, pay attention!" her Aunt scolded. "And keep your elbows off the table."
Frowning, Victoria obeyed and went back to picking at her food. "And here you requested duck, but are simply picking at it!"

"I would eat more but I'm hardly hungry," Victoria replied lamely.
"Hardly hungry!?" her Aunt said with alarm, turning red faced. "Hardly, indeed! YOu just walked a good many a miles to get home."

"Yes, but I said I'm not hungry," Victoria sighed.

"Oh, stop moping about it, Victoria. I know you're still feeling dejected after what the counsel said, but the rules are clear."

"Yes, the rules are clear for you," Victoria quipped.

"Now, now now, don't play off your faults on me!" her aunt scolded.  "This werewolf has not been schooled in who we are and what we do. We can't just continue to parade into his home until he is more thoroughly educated on the manner."

"The good that'll do," Victoria murmured. "You are asking us to take him from his home."

"Yes, because of the murders!" her aunt decreed. "And because that land should be left to ghosts, they claimed it first! It's not fair for them to have to share their lands with a werewolf."

Victoria rolled her eyes, pinning her fork into a piece of duck.
"I don't think these ghosts and ghouls really cared," she replied lamely.

"Don't care, indeed! We still need to make another visit, nd this time, one more in good faith. Heaven's child, what did you do to the man to get him so upset!?"

Victoria dropped her fork.
"I was simply following protocol! It wasn't my fault he lied to me, then proceded to try and kill me!"

"Kill you!?" her aunt cried in alarm.  Victoria made a face, quickly kicking herself for admitting to that one. "What the devil DID you do!?"

"Oh, Aunt Millicent, please! I'm hardly in a mood to discuss this!" Victoria said, raising in anger. "You send me int here to demand a man leaves his home, and he, HE has no idea we even exsist! You should have seen the expression on his face when I smashed my enchanted hat onto him and he lost his wolfish powers!"

Her aunt gasped in alarm. "You enchanted your hat!?"  Victoria rolled her eyes.

"Aunt Milli.. please.." she said through her teeth and finally move to rise. "I think if I was better prepared in dealing with someone who is unused to such beings as us, then perhaps I might have tackled this ordeal differently."

"but the point is you didn't!" her aunt pointed out. "And now we have a very upset werewolf we have to deal with.

"Upset, indeed!" Victoria said, yawning madly at the prospect. "But do let us talk about this later. I fear I hve no appetite for food, nor for this conversation."

"Victoria.."

Victoria glared at her aunt.
"How would YOU feel if someone were to come in here, demanding you leave YOUR home?" Victoria snapped, raising a brow at her aunt as if to challenge her at her cause.

Her aunt's face crumpled.
"Do whatever you'd like. This conversation is over!" her aunt said.

Victoria set her jaw, then moved to leave, heading for the door.

When at last he heard the door of her exit slam shut, Urich finally bounced into action.  Within seconds he twisted off the roof and through the open window, carefully balancing so as to not break his neck in the gardens, falling backwards.  The room was dark, but his night vision cut through it, though he bore no claws or fangs of any kind.  The mixture of bloods left him in the embrace and ease of both worlds, providing him strength when he needed it and good sense when he didn't.  But there was no time to bother with good sense, not when there was revenge to be had.

As petty as it was.

Urich didn't waste time exploring and bolted for her closet, tearing the doors open and pulling out one frock after another and springing claws to his hands.  Urich slashed them across the clothing, tearing them open and ripping them to shreds.  When he was finished with her dresses, every last one of them, he moved on to the drapes and tore them apart, laughing at his childish endeavor.  He didn't care, however.  Revenge was revenge no matter how it was served.

He smashed her mirror, crushed two posts on her bed threw candelabras to the floor, snuffing out the candles before it all took flame and smeared the ashes across every portrait and picture in the room, ripping holes in the canvases and raising them high and throwing them into a pile of destruction in the middle of the room.

And at the sound of the moving door knob, he bolted for the window.

Victoria was already feeling lousy, and as the door squealed open, she found herself, staring apathetically at the mess inside her room.  Her eye twitched slightly as she turned to the window, believing to have seen a flutter of exiting movement.

"Gee, I wonder why my room is in shreds," she mused out loud with indifference, walking straight into her room and staring at the open window with a scornful eye.  Then, over her shoulder she noticed the shredded garments, the drapes, the canvas and merely shook her head.
"And here I thought I wouldn't be worth his time. To think, I've upset a mere child."And she dropped her bustled bottom onto her bed and just threw herself onto the mattress.
"I guess I shall be shopping tomorrow," she mused, not even caring if the werewolf was nearby.
What was he going to do anyways? Tear off the dress she was wearing?
No, she suspected he might rather like that and sighed hotly before standing up agian and thrusting her face outside the window, wondering if she could get a glimpse of that damned werewolf.

She'd give him quite a tongue lashing.
Those dresses were custom made! The tailor would be furious with her- after all, it was erm.. difficult to get a dress styled to her..er.. fit.

Urich was long gone by the time she entered, leaving nothing more than muddy tracks in his wake as he vaulted over the iron bars yet again and scurried off into the brush.  The Valley was notoriously field-like and forests were few and far between.  But he carefully made his way from the keep, out into the wilds before disappearing entirely into the evening.

Petty reveng was petty indeed and he didn't feel nearly as satisfied as he thought he would by the time he made it back to Sul'Gulthan.  But as he entered into the ruins that he'd made his home, he pushed the annoying woman from his mind.  She wouldn't bother him anymore.  Not naked at least and if she had to spend a great fortune to replace everything he'd destroyed so be it.

It wasn't like the Counsel was going to summon him or anything.

So he went back to his throne, wine in hand and relaxed before a large roaring fireplace.  "Sir!" Robern called.

"Yes, my beheaded friend," he said, smiling.

"You've got another letter"

At this Urich blanched.  Not again.

Her aunt was most disappointed, and the counsel, a bit annoyed.

"If he doesn't take kindly to the tea, we'll have to see him thrown out personally. He knows where Miss Armani lives. If he's gone so much as to harass her personally with petty revenge, I'd hate to see what else he might have in store."

And that was the end of that, and Vicotira found herself in town at the tailors, drawing her arms up as the woman set about the measuring tape to hips then to chest.

"I swear, Victoria, you need to lose some weight."

Victoria glared at the woman.
"I say!"

"Well, your measurements have gotten larger, I suppose it was about time for you to get a new wardrobe."

Victoria rolled her eyes.
"Then perhaps the wolf did us all a favor," she muttered and when the woman inquired what she meant, she merely shook her head. "Nothing, really, Melissa, just musing."

"What color dresses would you like? We have a few new styles I could offer to make."

"Any without a corset?"

Melissa frowned. "I'm afraid not."

Victoria sighed. "Very well then. I do like dark colors, perhaps this time, I could add a simple red dress to my collection, maybe in a wine color, fi you would. And oh, these stripes look lovely, one in this and perhaps something in this deep green velvet."

Melissa set to marking down the order.

"What will you wear in the meantime, Miss Armania?"t he seamstress had to ask. "You only have one dress in which to wear.
Victoria shrugged.
"I Suppose I shall go through town naked then?"

Melissa had to laugh. "Miss Armani, what a naughty thought!"

Victoria rolled her eyes skyward, with indifferent.
"Not as naughty as the dog who tried to one up me." she sighed over the thought.
"What have you got on your wracks?"

"Nothing that would fit, the only dress I have might be a bit too small in the bust line for oyu, Miss Armani. You know you have, um.. pretty wide assets and -"

Victoria stomped her parasol to the floor.
"Do not remind me of my assets,"s he said with a hot sigh.  "Just fetch me the dress and I shall try it on."
The woman obeyed nad left her, coming back with a small dress with ablue body nd creamed sleeves and details. Victoria raised her brows at it.

"It seems a bit simply."

"But gorgeous, still. Do at least try it on, Miss Armani." The woman sighed, but obeyed, groaning as she felt her breasts nearly tear the thing in half.
"Do you not have something a bit larger?"

Melissa fornwed, looking around before slipping a red dress from a mannequin.
"I do have this dress, but I'd have to make a few alterations before you could leave in it."

Victoria nodded and reached for the dress.
"Red.." she frowned. "Such a flashy color."S he slippe di tout then stepped out of the changing room, and the tailor gasped.

"Miss Armani, you look like the goddess of love herself!"

Victoria rolled her eyes. "I feel like a damn apple. BUt I shall take the dress. Please tighten me up and adjust what needs ita nd I shall be on my way."
The tailor obeyed, and as she fussed over the thing, VIctoria sighed. "How long shall I have to wait for my dress order?"

"Oh, I'd say about a month."

"A month!" VIctoria griped.

"Aye. You be needin' a lot of dresses, Miss Aramani. It will take us a good amount of time to get them done with quality."

Victoria sighed.
"Well, I suppose I'll take the blue and cream dress int he meantime. IT's better than nothing."

Melissa nodded, finished fussing over the dress and Victoria moved to pay.

"But if you get the dresses done any sooner, please notify my immediately." Victoria informed. Melissa nodded and the woman was off, pushing open the door and strolling out into the street, eyes glazing over tiredly as she looked at the many shops within the street.

"I suppose I should get myself a hat to match,"s he said idly, and began to make her way towards the end of the street. She was in such a hurry, not paying much attention when she suddenly walked straight into a man before her.
"Oh, dear I'm dreadfully.." but as hse lifted her head, she noticed the familiar auburn hair and hazel green eyes and gave a start- hand going to her lips. "You!"
And she stared incredulously at the werewolf before her,- a wolf in sheep's clothing no doubt- looking as handsome as ever.
And look at him- walking about the streets as if some ordinary man! She furrowed her brow.
"You owe me quite a few dresses."

What rotten business did he have in town, now?  But he needed a new suit if he was going to call on these round of snot-nosed bottomfeeders.  They wouldn't take him seriously otherwise.  Not that he really cared.  Urich rarely went shopping on busy days like these.  It seemed all the townspeople were here today or maybe the local business were just having sale after sale.   He found the clothing he was looking for, a simple suit of navy blue, with gorgeous embroidery on the collar and sleeves, with a pleated shirt to match.  He bought a fine amulet too, to grace his chest but that complete the set.  But he found it was not enough.

Why not just go all out and get some new boots too?  Urich grinned to himself.  It was better than looking like the trash they expected him to look.  And he'd sure as hell look far better than that wench!

He was humble enough to carry his own purchases, holding the bag over his shoulder after having it tailored his size and walked nonchalantly down the avenue.  A gleaming pair of boots caught his eye and he paused, staring at them with awe.  Black leather, most likely made for riding, but he could have them cut down to his specifications...  No, no that would be a travesty!  They were perfect the way they were!  And they would go so perfectly with his new --

OOF!

"Oh, who dares!?" he roared, regaining his balance and saving his bag from tearing ont he ground.  He stood up and gave daggers to the buffoon who couldn't watch where they were going.  "YOU!" he spat at the same time she did.

He snarled, his features darkening dangerously.  "You've got a lot of nerve talking to me like you-you...  I don't even know what in the gods' names to call you, you've got me at wit's end.  I'd kill you now but I don't fancy going to prison for mere mortals.  Now what the hell are YOU doing here?"

Victoria lowered her eye lids, staring at him as if disinterested and gave a snort through her nose, hand to her hip.
"You can call me Miss Armani,"s he informed him, boredly. "I'm a negotiator, and I'm here because I needed to do a bit of dress shopping," she spoke nearly through her teeth, but tried to remain civil.  "Someone seemed to be telling me it was due for an upgrade." She eyed him suspiciously, looking at the bag he carried and noticed the vendor's symbol upon it.
"Doing a bit of shopping yourself?" she prodded, using her parasol to poke his bag. Then she craned her neck up to him, glaring, but bored.  "Luten's- only the men's finest fashions." she stated, as if it were a dismal affair.

"Either way, if you'd please move out of the way, I can continue on my way to purchase a hat." she said, resting her black parasol before her and shifting her hips beneath her new red skirts-

Really, they did seem to attract a lot of attention, as a few men nearby began to crane their necks her way- even one had to do a double take on his horse, and ended up smashing his face into a store sign.

"Why don't you get out of MY way...as you could see I was here first, minding my own business until you smashed your large behind into me, like some kind of boulder.  You look like you've gained a bit of weight since I last saw you.  But your breasts look rather nice."  He commented and shrugged at her.  "If you're in a hurry, just go around me, but please take as much room as you can.  Your ass will need it."

Urich rolled his eyes at her and returned to his window-gazing.  She wasn't worth his time either on the job or on the street...which was where she really belonged.

Victoria felt her brow twitch at his comment.
So she had gained a little weight, but certainly HE wouldn't have known about that! And he didn't need to start complimenting her assets the same time he was berating them. Really!

She was about to chew him a new one when something caught her eye-
It was her Aunt!

Panicking, since she clearly did NOT want to be seen with this criminal, she made a mad dash into the store, eyes going desperate towards the sales man as she asked-
"How much for those boots int he window!?" and she pointed DIRECTLY at the pair Urich was admiring from the window.

Oh no she didn't!

Urich was horrified at the gall.  Of course he didn't see the old prune parading herself down the street and dashed right into the store after her.  "Don't you dare!" he said to the shopkeeper.  The little old man jumped at his approach.  "My father is dying!  Those were the boots were going to dress him in for the funeral...  I'll pay double whatever the current price is!"

He turned to Victoria with venom in his eyes.  "You buy those boots, I skin you alive.  You diabolical little troll."

Victoria turned around, appalled the man would dare follow her here.  She had contemplated whacking him over the head with her umbrella, but with held the urge as she deepened her scowl.
"Dying father indeed, you mean that animated, talking head back at your manor?" she quipped, tapping her umbrella to the floor, then turned to the shop keep.
"This man doesn't have the money. He already used it to buy me a slew of new dresses," she informed the man, putting herself between Urich at the salesman.
"And further more, I'll be needing polish for the boots as well."

She would not let this man one up her- not when-

She paled, noticing her Aunt stroll across the window, sweat collecting across her brow.

Aunt Millicent-
did she see them!? She could only pray not!

Urich's face burned in fury at her comment.  This woman was uppity off the clock as well.  Did she have no decency?  She pretended she was a lady but he could tell it was all just a mask to her, a game to be played and to make him look like a fool without a home, without money, without even a smidgen of dignity.

The tiny old man at the counter didn't know what to do.  Urich nudged her out of the way with his hip and poked the counter with a large sack of coins.  "This woman clearly is insane and what is she going to do with a pair of men's boots anyway?  Look at her, how could a cow of her size and shape have any admirers?"

"Sir, you really shouldn't be talking about a lovely lady like that," the old man said.

"I demand you give me those boots this instant.  Please!  It's a matter life or death!"

"But you said your father was already dying!" he said, but he was still trembling.  "I don't have to--"

"Yes you do!"
