Hey all!!!
As some of you have already noticed we have spambots on the loose again! Never fear though and don't panic we're working hard to fix the issue. That being said I have got a few panicked PM's from some of you so just to clarify a few things I thought I would leave a little post.
If one of your threads or posts gets spammed or you see spam, please either PM a Global Moderator on the site OR hit the nifty little button under a post titled "Report to moderator." We'll get notifications then that allow us to quickly address the problem if we're not already on the case.
If you find spam in your thread and even if there are multiple spam posts, you do NOT need to start a new thread entirely. The spam posts will be deleted soon and you can carry on business as usual.
If there are links in the suspected spam post it is HIGHLY recommended that you DON'T click on them. Just report it and your friendly mod/admin team will gladly get rid of it.
If you have notified the mod team, please be patient as we work to clear things out for you. Bots RARELY post only once and there's usually a very long list of posts we have to delete. If we haven't already, we'll get to yours soon.
