Physical Description
Deep, tanned, olive skin; rich in color from the sun. Katoma stands not as a tall man, but average height for his people. He has long limbs, though slender, his body is toned and meant for agility, flexibility, and speed rather than strength.  He has a long face, oval in shape with high cheek bones and a strong, rounded jaw with a subtle cleft in it. His lips are medium in thickness, and his nose has a slight crook in it. His brows are thick and his hair is black as the night, his eyes appearing almost the same, but in certain lighting, the deep, rich brown color of them might appear.

He wears his hair long, as most men in his village will never cut their hair, unless shamed or beaten by a warrior, but most times if beaten by another warrior, one will lose their life; which is preferred over shame. His long hair is either worn up in a high pony tale, a braid, or even pinned securely into a bun. The front of his hair frames his face in a long side bang with wisps on the side. Occasionally, he will string leather or feathers throughout the side fringes near his ears.

He wears leather moccasins, and a mixture of clothing varying in Adelan red robes to the more tribal, natural clothing of his people. He also wears the customary tribal tattoo in red on his face, which masks over his eyes and nose, and then a sweeping accent just beneath it at the lower rise of his cheeks. He also wears just a small line of red paint in the middle of his lower lip.

He wears a necklace, which is said to contain the tail hair from his spirit horse he had connected with,a nd keeps it close on his person.

Personality
Playful and mischievous, cunning and daring; Katoma is every bit like his spirit animal -the horse, and is often times making jokes rather than ever being serious. Though it's not to say he can't be, he just chooses to cope with what has happened to him by smirking and making a spectacle in any way he can, feigning ignorance to the very spirits he once worshiped.

He is very bitter towards some aspects of his tribe's belies, and thinks they should have viewed the war against the Adelans in a different way, rather than remain as prideful as they were. Truth to the name of his tribe, he too, is very prideful and it takes a lot for him to get over himself.

Magic/Abilities
His tribe believed in the power of the spirits all around us, that even the winds and air and sky all held energies that connected to us, and if you trained hard enough and listened to the spirits, you could harness their powers. This being said, Katoma has been trained in order to 'dance with the winds', and can do extraordinary feats in the air. Most of his acrobatics or even hand to hand combat come with an extra force carried through with them, so long as Katoma is connected to the natural energies of the world. His jumps make it look like he can fly, and certain focused 'punches' or 'kicks' can throw an enemy clean off of his feet, sending them several feet away.

Bow and Arrow- he is proficient with these, as they are a necessity when living in the plains.

Dagger- a bone dagger is always on his person, which has many valuables uses from a weapon to something to clean his teeth :D It's made from the bone of an ancient, fallen dragon his people unearthed on the plains.

Spear- he keeps a long, sharpened spear on him, but normally tied to his animal (since it's a bit cumbersome to carry)

Relationships
Nana'tehk- his 'bird-dragon' (or they're official name; the avirians) ; the only creature he could find as of lately that would actually let him ride it. All other horses refused, and well, he has a slight fear of the other dragons in Adela. Since his spirit horse, the one he connected with, died; and Katoma has since become lame and ignorant of his connections to his spirit animal, all horses currently refuse him and will buck him off, no matter how docile the creature is, if he tries. The bird dragon remained loyal to him since he had 'rescued' it from a garrison of Adelan soldiers at the precipice of the plains.

History
The Serha plains is a scene of war. The tribal people known as the Duhjari having been fighting to keep the Adelan army out of their land for ages. But the tribes were never unified, making it hard for both the Adelans to simply snuff them all out, and for the Duhjari to actually make a mark. The northern side of the plains was the home to his people, the tribe of The Red Fox. Most notable markings from this tribe are done in red paints only, and occasionally, rarely seen white stripes. All Red Foxes wear red masks on their faces.

The tale of this tribe was a sad one, as they were snuffed out by the Adelan army on a raid in the night. Their campsight, having been discovered, was ransacked and no man, woman or child was left alive. The son of the chief, however, managed to survive, and as he picked his bloodied body up from the battle scarred ground, he contemplated cutting off his hair in shame for being defeated. But he could not bring himself to do it, and went into a frenzy of grief for days.
His horse had also survived, and while he grieved along with it, eventually the rage came in and he blamed his father's foolish pride for not heading the warnings of the Adelans. nd in doing so, he cast his spirit animal, his horse, aside one night, only to attempt to find him the next day, laying poisoned in a stream.

He cut off a part of his horses's tail to remember him by, and buried his body along with those of his people, on the great hill of the Owl. Now, with nothing left but the spirits of his people, Katoma set out on his own to make a name for himself, finding it difficult to battle his anger against the pride of his people, and the pride within him. Revenge carries strong with him, deterring him from any of the paths he had seen on his vision quest, and he goes about now, riding on the back of a dragon-bird; and fights the Adelan army, one small attack at a time.

He has become known as the 'Masked Tribseman'; for the notable red mask he pants onto his face. Little do they know... when he takes the mask off and dresses in their clothing, he becomes almost Adelan and is quick to get insider information. Then once he dawns his painted mask again, he is a force to be reckon with; and he plans to stop at nothing until he has avenged the fallen people of his tribe.
