It had been months since she'd been stuck, been forced into a form she didn't want--and now there was this.

The potions she'd been using to control her shifts were losing their potency, and she didn't know why.

The small--relatively speaking--dragon was hunched over an almost perfectly circular jungle pool. Well, "puddle" might have been a more accurate descriptor; and it was certainly too regular in shape to be natural.

Such features were rare, and she'd been lucky to find it--she thought it might be a remnant of whatever lost culture had crafted the crumbling ruins around her. She honestly had no idea what they would have used it for, but she had a very specific purpose in mind for it.

She craned her head back, trying to peer up through the think canopy to find the crest of the moon. The jungle was thinner her--again, thanks to the ruins--but there were still enough trees that she knew she would only have a few minutes of full moonlight on the water.

She just had to hope those few minutes would be enough.

Elysia had been sleeping. Nowadays that's what she does when full moons happen. Purely because she's discovered that people reallllly are wary of dragons. Even a small one like her.
The tree that she was currently in was a massive live oak.
There had been clouds when she fell asleep, and what woke her up was a slight breeze filtering through the trees, slightly moving the leaves.
She opened her eyes and yawned, glancing down at her form and groaning.  Still a dragon. Still a full moon.
She stretched and was about to climb down out of the tree when a form startled her. Another dragon? Here? She quietly climbed down and stayed by the trunk of the live oak, unsure of how to proceed. She hadn't actually met a dragon before. Did others tend to be friendly? Or should she leave this one be?
Was this dragon a shifter like her?
Well. Only one way to find out.
She slowly approached and stopped a respectful distance away.
Be smart about this.
"Hello! My name is Elysia! Are you a shifter? Or just a dragon? You're a really pretty dragon by the way...I'm a shifter...the full moon isn't gone yet so I'm stuck!"
That was...not what Elysia was going for but oh well.
