Berlious Rhecht; a man with only one eye and a shiny, bald head, mean, brown eyes and muscles bulging all over his body- made no effort to keep conspicuous on who he was. He threw out his name like it were worth a million dollars, and when the other men at his card table got pissed he was winning the game- it didn't take too long for a fight to break out.
Fists met to faces, and chairs to heads as broken mugs and plates crashed to the ground. There was fresh blood now splattering to the ground as fists cracked into loud mouths to silence them and a few men lost a bit of teeth, but it was all in a day's night in Zantaric.
When the fight broke out, Iyla's red eyes went over to observe the barbaric sight, thinking nothing of it- except when the tall, bald headed man by the name of Berlious was winding up for another punch, and his fist went clean into the other man's chest.
Her own heart lurched at the notion- and she could feel it. The very presence of the shadow seed had been awoken- and this seemingly normal mortal man was now throwing about this power in nonchalance.
"Damn." she cursed. What rotten luck.
She'd have to find a way to tear the seed out of this man, or kill him. And her eyes remained wary upon the men as the fight continued on- and it was evident the strength Berlious carried was anythng but human. No man could slam a fist through an entire table- but he just did. And in fact, no man could throw a fist through another man!
The shadow seed.. she realized he must have tapped into it's strength- or that this shadow seed's focus was on strength and in turn, lent it's own other-worldly powers to this holder who willingly merged with it.
Yep, this manw as going to die. Especially after he flung himself at the bar and exclaimed, "Who's next!?" His fists were ready.
Of course, curse her rotten luck, she was within his line of sight and his eyes met to hers, the brown color having long since faded to black.
Her nostrils burned, her veins tingled...
Yes... the seed was so near she could taste it.
"Little man, you want a piece of this?"
But before Iyla could answer him, her boot came up and hit him right between the legs. DOubling over, Iyla didn't hesitate as she used the shadows to heighten her speed, and slid just to the one side- A trick only the keenest of eyes could hve noticed, before bringing her boot up and kicking him on the chest, then wth a step and kick up his body, a boot met to his face. Kicking off his head, she did an aerial flip backwardsa nd away from the man before landing safely in a crouch as the big man began to stumbled backwards. ANd giving one final, powerful kick, the man was sent sailing across the room- smashing into the side of the tavern, which his entire body went through- leaving a gaping hole int he wall.
