Physical Description
There are certain things that elves are known for: grace, elegance, ethereal beauty and an enchanting air of self-assurance. There is a reason for that, and that reason goes by the name of Estelle.

Classic beauty and vivid bombshell combine in the slender creature. A willowy physique, comprised of slender arms, curved waist, and lean legs that seem almost endless, give her the delicate air of a dancer, but with a leonine grace that hints toward a predatory ferocity. A waterfall of inky hair hits well below her waist, shot through and shimmering with a pale cyan wash of color. The color is repeated, albeit in a slightly darker shade, in her eyes, set in satin skin and an angular, delicate face with carved, arched cheekbones. Her mouth is the pale pink of rose petals, either twisted into a curving smile or a classic diva pout.

Of her outfit, Estelle tends to go for a shock factor, leaving not much to the imagination. A hardened corset and half-cape skirt make up most of her wardrobe, with coal-silk gloves that stretch from partially up her upper arm to her wrist, and matching boots that crawl their way to mid-thigh. Overall, her dark ensemble lends her an air of unattainable mystery, while hinting at the nature of her power.

Personality
+ Bold, Adaptable, Resourceful, Decisive, Self-Confident, Well-Read
= Charming, Forceful, Ambitious, Imaginative, Persistent, Sarcastic
- Manipulative, Jealous, Deceitful, Machiavellian, Greedy, Ruthless, Selfish

Upon first glance, there is nothing obviously negative about Estelle: she's clearly self-confident, and a sense of vibrancy around her makes her a charismatic stranger. Upon further conversation, it's obvious that she's well-educated, with a keen love for learning and reading. There is a certain charm about her, and equally a sense of forcefulness, like a dammed lake. Despite all of this, the engaging qualities and the vividness with which she seems to live, there's certainly something off about her, though it takes more than one meeting to pin it down, and is often chalked up to imagination.

In truth, Estelle is not the girl you want to bring home to your mother, or even particularly want to go home with at all. What was earlier witty conversation turns into acerbic sarcasm, and the determination from before quickly becomes a ruthless persistence. Selfish to the bone and with very little ability to empathize with others, she's a truly Machiavellian manipulator; deceit and greed go hand in hand. She's a horribly possessive and jealous type; once she considers someone to be "hers," she's everyone's psycho ex-girlfriend from hell - but with the added benefit of blood magic. In fact, the desire for attention and control grew so great that she started placing manipulative infatuation spells on mortal men, which would often drive them half to madness in their desire to please her.

In magical pursuits, she has a voracious appetite for learning about all branches of magic. Though light magic is too weak for her particular tastes, she acknowledges that it has its strengths. However, she's widely ambitious in her pursuit of power and imaginative in her crafting of spells, with an adaptive ability that allows her to suit her surroundings or undertakings.

Magic/Abilities
Primal Magic: Primarily limited to sexual rites, blood magic, or raw emotion, this magic stems from the earth itself and precedes most stylized or runic magics that many mages use today.

Blood Magic: Blood magic is by far Estelle's favored form of sorcery, and blood contains the essence of creatures and allows a wider range of control. It doesn't hurt that it is primarily forbidden, which allows her to charge a higher price for her skills. Blood magic spells that she can work include, but are not limited to, binding, blood property manipulation (ability to change certain properties of hers or others' blood), surveillance and communication through liquids entirely of/containing blood, and spell-casting. She has some control over death inducement, and only a knowledge of the theory of summoning anything beyond smaller manifestations such as plants/animals.

Degree: Estelle's magic is limited by the amount of blood used; while a drop will still provide power, it isn't nearly as strong as an actual sacrifice, or larger quantities.

Health/Anti-Poisoning: Blood spells can be worked to heal herself for all but the most grievous of wounds, drawing the life force from others like plants/human sacrifices. Also, because she can change the properties of her blood via ritual, she can often work quickly against most poisons, either thickening her blood to allow her time to achieve an antidote, or making her blood non-conducive to the poison.

Weaknesses
Demonic Magic: Primal magic is vulnerable against all but the weakest of demonic magic.

Inexperience: Estelle has only read about summoning greater or stronger creatures via blood summoning, and as such could cause a fatal mistake if she attempted it.

Death Inducement catch: Estelle's "death inducement" requires contact depending upon the form of inducement, and is not guaranteed fatal if proper treatment is attained.

Also note that, while her own blood is stronger than that of others, the more of her own blood she uses within a shorter time span, while creating a stronger spell, still causes weakness via blood loss and magical exertion. Also, despite the fact that she has an inconceivable life span to most creatures, she can still be killed via physical means, her own missteps in ritual, or even potentially by a far stronger mage than herself.

History
Estelle grew up in a family with average to above-average means, but her family lived in largely-isolated Northwatch outside of the fort town. Her mother and father had a profitable business of selling intricately worked jewelry, sometimes pieces just for show and others that could be infused with magic to form protective amulets and other such trinkets. Estelle was the younger of two children; her brother was approximately twenty years older than her, but due to slow physical maturity rates in elves, they looked closely related upon first inspection. She was not particularly close to her brother, as she often felt neglected when it came to the attention her parents would lavish on him, but she loved her family fiercely, as most beings do and nearly all elves.

Her powers first became apparent around approximately 80 years old, as she neared physical maturity. She had always been a precious child, with a sweet face that spoke of contrasts between dark hair and pale skin, but as she matured, she took on a much more elegant shape entirely. Isolated as her family was, Estelle had little contact with boys outside of her family, but she was the sort of girl to sneak old texts into her room and dream about her first kiss.

As Estelle grew older, her parents worked to buy her books to increase her magical ability. When they had originally made their jewelry and amulets, they had had to sell them as empty vessels or send them to a mage for the special spell-crafting, but with an in-house witch, they were able to charge higher prices. This, in turn, led Estelle to read as much as she could, fostering a desire to read everything she could on magic.

When she was 95 years old, her brother was struck with a mysterious illness, one Estelle had never read about before and couldn't identify. She worked to cure her brother of such an illness, but with no knowledge of the cause or the cure, he died. Had they been closer to the town, her family might have been able to call a mage in time, but as such he died before the messenger even reached the fort. Confronted with the death of her favored son, Estelle's mother dissolved into a fit of hysterics, blaming her daughter's lack of strength for her son's death. Many evil things were flung back and forth that day, and though her father tried to stop her, he couldn't keep his headstrong daughter from packing her tools, saddling a horse, and leaving the only home she'd known, though she still was not even considered an adult.

It was shortly after she left that she traveled to Ravensway, where the rumors of fae magic had always been strong; from there to Arca in Kia's City, where she first learned of primal magic and the inherent strength of blood magic. From there she traveled to Cerenis for their vast libraries and relative distance from the capital of Serendipity; the more she learned, the more she realized the danger that such magic put her in, not only from the power itself but also from the colleges and fellow mages. After she became highly adept in blood magic and primal ritual, she began a lifetime of traveling from place to place, pedaling magic for power, gaining coins, secrets, and a following of infatuation-crazed mortal men that she left behind in every city.

With every memory of her mother blaming her for not being able to save her brother, she learned to harden her heart to true affection. When her brother had left her, despite the fact that they had not been inseparably close, she felt as though he had left without her permission; she became much more possessive over materials and mortal that she considered her property. With every relived nightmare of her failure to work strong pure magic, she began to scorn it, relying more and more on the primal strength of her own school of spellwork, until the nightmares faded and her "humanity" began to blur.
