What better way to celebrate the end of a long, cold, bitter winter than a ball? Duchess Melora of Hellvion will be celebrating the end of Connloath's long winter in style, by hosting a grand ball! Who doesn't want to strut out and enjoy life now that spring has finally come?
At the moment, this will be only open to Connloathian nobles. Melora's a bit of a snob, so I'll let Spice weigh in on whether or not lower nobility need apply.
Of course, not every party can go off without a hitch, and this one is no exception. During the course of the ball, rebel mages will be making some 'fireworks' of their own!
If you're interested in having your character attend, please reply to this thread! Or, if you have questions, PM Spice or myself.
I guess it would make sense for Lucien to attend this.
Micah Coleridge will definitely be in attendance.
Cyrus Orchards would also show up.
Gabriel Coleridge will only be there if Valia wants to go.

Probably the Grand Duke, naturally (or Melora would be PISSED)
and obviously Melora herself, and her daughter, Aella~
Then Davishire would be there most likely, as he's a potential heir to the throne and I'll have to think on the others!

I get the feeling that the ball will either be when people find out about his proposal... or their first time seeing each other after the long winter (depending on which Spicy and I decide to go with). Assuming she attends. I get the feeling she'll find her way in. Illi likes balls.

<3 yeah, I'm assuming Illi and Davishire will attend, and if we go with the idea they inadvertently spend the winter together, I think they'd end up engaged at the end of it- meaning that spring when the ball rolls around, she'd most certainly be his date- or expected to arrive considering they'd be engaged.
Another thing that will make Melora upset- BWAHAHAHA
I'll make sure Lucien entertains Melora, Spicy.

No, I don't think that Dahlia would go, but she also wouldn't keep Milo from going. I'm imagining that he got invited as "Lord Gray" or something. Could be interesting if Edward was there to give him a helping hand, though!

It takes place in the Duchy of Hellvion (in the North West corner/ boarder of Connlaoth, next to Hyoite), and is going to be loads of fun :D
This is primarily for nobles (they don't have to be dukes, they can be lords or ladies)- so if you want to bring your properly dressed noble here for some fun, let us know :D
I'm going to bump this event since it's a really fun idea and I'd love to see others join in :)
For nobles (or those who would work in the Hellvion Castle)- this event is going to be a BANG :D
If you want an excuse to do some socializing and dancing against a DRAMATIC back drop- feel free to create some nobles or drop in your noble here to have some fun! Well, these balls are known for the excess and decadence! Elaros would consider it a sin if he didn't try to at least get in (both legitimately and otherwise). I'm sure if he procured the correct papers, he could request to join the festivites as an envoy from Drakkona, giving him a legitimate reason to be there (and meet the Grand Duke!).
