Glaring at him, she wanted to hit him. She wanted to scream.
"This isn't my life, Jude," she reminded him with a glare. "And why are you fucking apologizing? You can say whatever the fuck you want. It makes no difference to me." ANd she was dizzy for it.
"It's just time for me to go, Jude." And she paused to finally look into his eyes more directly. "This is not my place to stay." And this time he wasn't going to stop her. Turning away from him, she made her way back down the path- and it was one of the hardest times in her life to walk away- and one of the hardest time to fight off tears.
