Physical Description
Beyhe almost always hides herself beneath a wrap of medicinal bandages and robes. Without them, most would either become repulsed by her or think she was some form of undead. She also keeps her face covered by decorative porcelain masks, each bearing a different expression of emotion. Clever magic and sleight of hand makes it possible for her to seamlessly switch between them.

Underneath all the layers of cloth and armor, Beyhe does indeed resemble something like a zombie. She lacks hair and a nose, and her flesh appears as if it had been melted or sloughed off at some point. The only things that still look like that of a living creature are her amethyst eyes, marking her as a native-born Thanati.

Personality
She is usually shy and soft-spoken, though some of that is not by choice. The curse and injuries she sustained has removed most of her voice from her, and as such she has trouble speaking at a reasonable volume. She is rarely one to start a fight, though at the same time she is not afraid of finishing them.

Magic/Abilities
Despite her afflictions, centuries of practice have given this Elf an awe-inspiring skill in combat, both armed and unarmed. However, martial skill is not her only strength, Beyhe is a practitioner of the art of Artifice, a form of summoning that allows a person to create an ethereal projection of their will, be that armor, a weapon, a shield, or really any kind of reasonably-sized object.

Beyhe is also one that has practiced her talent of Divination, specifically the Thanati varieties of the practice. While she is capable of spending time to cast her perception forward or to another location, the real talent here is that, at times, she gains flashes of insight. Such an insight might be an incoming arrow, or the unseen stroke of a weapon that might be fatal. Though it is important to keep in mind: Simply because one can notice the future does not always mean they are capable of changing it.

In more craft-related skills, Beyhe is a well-practiced weaver and tailor, and has a keen eye for quality. Scarred hands can still produce beautiful works of art on cloth.

Finally, there is her Curse. This Curse is responsible for causing her to become so disfigured. This magical enchantment on her has left her weakened: It causes her flesh to occasionally slough off and reform as discolored, oddly-textured scar tissue. It seems to affect her internally as well, she has little strength, and sometimes she will go into a coughing fit, which often results in her spitting or coughing blood. Yet, on the opposite side of the coin... She heals remarkably fast, though only to return to that state of affliction. Even grievous have healed in days (or weeks, in the case of some of her most severe injuries), yet despite her healing, it only returns to leave her in that constant state of "decay." It not a fun nor easy existence.

Relationships
None that she keeps.

History
The story of how a cadre of Temple warriors hunted down an evil Necromancer is perhaps one that has, in the centuries, passed into legend. Centuries ago, a blight was upon the isles of Thanatos. A Necromancer and his coven of devouts ravaged the countryside, attacking remote villages in the mountains and rainforests. In response, the Temple dispatched twenty soldiers to remove this threat.

It took them months to track down the Necromancer. All the man had left in his wake was empty buildings and corpses. Even the people he did not raise to follow him had suffered the ultimate form of murder in Thanatos: The draining of their souls.

But find him the Twenty did. It is said that the battle took ten days and ten nights, but was finally won when a single warrior ran the Necromancer through with her sword after a costly and exhausting dance of steel. But it was not without a heavy cost... With his last breath, the Necromancer cursed the warrior: Doomed to suffer and fray like the dead, but to never truly die from her affliction.

To this day, Beyhe carries both her sword and her Curse.
