Physical Description
A woman of about average height and build, Selaina could be seen as pretty, though she keeps herself rather plain, never really wearing make up to doll herself up, so she keeps a natural beauty about herself. She's got a strong face, strong jaw, thin lips and a small nose. She's got dark blonde hair, normally worn back in a pony tale to keep it out of her face, and bright blue eyes and fair skin that's lightly tanned from the sun (normally with a tan line around her clothing). She's lightly toned in muscle due to her field work and the fact she likes to eat healthy (she's not a huge fan of meat, and in fact, it makes her sick sometime to even look at it, but she has eaten it before. She just prefers to eat breads and vegetables as well as fruits. But her secret obsession is chocolate. If she gets her hand on some, there's no stopping her from devouring probably all of it in one sitting. )
Selaina tends to wear trousers and plain, button up or laced in the front shirts, as those are the most suitable for her type of work and travel. (She's just not a girl to wear dresses. Not really).
She normally carries around with her a worn, leather satchel that had been her father's and his father's that has since been passed down to her. Her last name 'Davinshore' has been pressed into the leather, though is nearly worn off. In it, it holds most of her possessions- which include (but are not limited to), a magical quill, a few books on enchantments, her small, leather journal and her famous 'talking rocks'. There's most definitely a few archaeological tools as well.
Personality
Selaina is one to get very lost within her work. She can be so dedicated she can forget to eat sometimes and it can make her somewhat antisocial. Though she's easily excited when it's something pertaining to enchantments or ancient history, she is pleasant and sweet enough, but has a bit of a snarky side to her. (the sarcasm stemming from her mother, of all people) which easily brushed off onto her. She can get impatient rather easily and be a bit stubborn, but she's a very dedicated person. If you actually are able to become friends with her, she's got your back, despite her wanting to spend most of her time by herself and her studies. Most of the time she'd prefer to just stare off at her surroundings in contemplative thought, but occasionally the mood will strike when she'll want to socialize, though most of the time it's with her colleagues.
Magic/Abilities
Attending college in Darken Vei's most prestigious university helped fine tune Selaina's ability to enchant items. Though unable to cast magics herself, she is able to tap into ancient magical spells and curses already placed upon items and reawaken them or, embed them with new magical properties (so long as she knows the proper spell)
Her most famous work was her 'talking rock' in which she had enchanted a pair of rocks that were linked to one another, possessing the same sorts of enchantments. If one person has one rock in their possession, they can communicate with the other person holding the stone simply by laying a thumb upon the rune burned into the rock's surface. The only way to communicate is through voice.
There is also a way to unlock the intelligence stored inside the rock, as Selaina uses the rock to store her 'notes' on archaeology (which are more or less her verbal thoughts and theories on the matter). Sometimes the stone can project faint images before the person using the enchanted stone so they can gain access to visual memories of certain things committed to the stone.
This sort of magic is really just used for her research, but could be used for other things.
She currently keeps both stones on her person.

History
Selaina grew up in a well to do family. Her father was Connlaothian and her mother, Serenian and they live in a large stone and wood manor in the Provence of Darken Vei. Both of her parents were scholarly and focused their skills on enchantments rather than magics (as they did not possess the type of ability to conjure magics, but found they were able to perform enchantments). Their desire and love for such things was passed on to Selaina, their only daughter, who aspires to be just like them. She graduated at the top of her class, and has worked with the college ever since.
