Title: Miracles Inbound
Post by: Salzem on September 28, 2016, 05:42:40 PM
Aeizith wandered through the tall grass, holding an arm out and letting it run across his palm. As expected, the grass froze where he touched, turning frigged and cold, nearly resistant to movement. He had to say, the ice drake actually enjoyed the planes here. The sun was high in the sky, there were frequent breezes that blue across the plains, pushing the grass down in what seemed to be natural art and the sunsets... they were gorgeous... Aeizith was never ashamed that he could appreciate the finer things of life. It wasn't as if being a dragon meant he had to trample all life under his claws or devour everything that walked on two legs. Even if it did, that made him an anomaly, he supposed.

In any case, Aeizith sat cross-legged down in the grass, arcs of frost shooting out across the ground, turning the once weaving plant-life to sharp, pointed needles. He smiled as he observed the way they froze in mid dance, running his eyes over each individual blade with an eye only an artist could have. He had an eye for detail, one that loved to drink in each curve, the shadows the sun cast upon them, his misshapen reflection different in each block of ice... Amira had given the little blue ice-drake some much needed confidence among other things, making him not so afraid to express himself in the arts. She was one he couldn't get out his head, Amira... The dazzling, impish angel that stole his little heart in the same day they met... He remembered that they went through stages of relationship in one day that other mortal men would go through in years. It wasn't as if he felt pride in that accomplishment. He wasn't trying to compete with anyone, but... he didn't know what he felt... just being with her made his mind go haywire.

Nevertheless, he came here to play and play he shall. He raised a hand above his head, palm open to the sky. The frozen grass stood fully on end, icicles poking upwards in a way reminiscent of a bear-trap. He placed his other hand upon the ground, frost hardening the dirt to rock, but then dissolving it to a muddled, whitish snow dotted with brown. Cryomancy.... it was a passion...

Amira had, as always. Been a busy little bee. Several men had been unfortunate enough to fall to her hunger today, one more would be added to that. But Amira would not be Amira if she hadn't taken this poor sod on some sort of terrifying trip. As such, with one hand wrapped around his foot, the man dangled below her, screaming for his life as she flew several kilometers above ground, her wings tearing through the clouds.

Whether she'd admit it or not, Aeizith changed a lot in Amira. Not as much personality wise, but the thought of having someone to return to made her feel a lot less alone on the mortal plain of existence, true. She had Albedo, a dear friend and loyal companion, but a lover was always different, it was more... exciting. She simply smirked as she flew, thinking back on their little escapades. She was moderately concerned for him, thinking he might get in trouble. But she quickly shrugged that off, he had given his word that he'd call her if he were in mortal peril.

When her eyes looked back down she let out an eep of excitement, there he was! it was no coincidence that she was here, she was in fact looking for Aeizith. She had some spare time and he was the person she wanted to spend it with. However, she wanted to surprise him. She threw the man she was holding into the air, spinning to grab him by his throat, she snapped it without so much as a thought, with her free hand she grasped for his chest, tearing the green orb clear from his chest and putting it in her mouth, swallowing it in a hurry. She then promptly let go of the body, letting it topple down to splat on the ground.

When she zero'd in close enough on Aeizith she picked up speed, human eyes now unable to track her at all as her wings propelled her forward. As she came close to him, she used a small amount of magic to make sure she wouldn't impact him overly hard, she stopped only for a split second, reaching out to put her arms under his shoulders and dragging him into an embrace, it all happened extremely fast, un-naturally even. Before long she was once again flying, Aeizith pressed against her chest this time. She shot straight up with her love in her arms, breaking through the clouds before finally stopping, her wings flapping idly to keep them afloat. The clouds seemed as if one could walk on them, a perfect fluffy barrier. She eyed the man in her arms, a glint of extreme  happiness in those pink eyes that even she could not hide ''I missed you so much!'' she exclaimed, the thrill of flight and the thrill of seeing her love again combining into one big puddle of happiness. She quickly moved to place a passionate kiss on his lips, pulling him in close. She knew he was a dragon, but she still worked to make sure he couldn't fall.

Aeizith jumped at a disturbingly close noise, causing all the ice-needles around him to shatter in a cloud of sparkling dust. A loud rustling splat disrupted his thoughts, the noise sounding hauntingly like that of a corpse hitting the ground from very high up. Before he could even turn to investigate the noise, something slammed into him from behind, carrying him up into the air at an incredible rate. On contact, a thin icy barrier froze over his body instinctively, his face frozen in surprise and fear as he was carried ever higher. Did his captor intend to do the same thing to him? Was he about to die, a splattered corpse on the ground of a grassland? In his panic, he had completely forgotten he was a dragon, that he could break his own fall without dying, his thoughts just a mess of ohmygods and helpmes as they rose above the clouds. Their ascent stopped, however with the clouds passing beneath them like a solid surface. He was turned in his captor's grip just as a familiar voice rang out that she missed him.

The ice around his skin shattered, sprinkling stardust around them as Amira kissed Aeizith, his heart fluttering in his chest as his Azure eyes connected with her gorgeous pink. He knew exactly who she was... his Amira.... who was holding him several thousand feet above the ground but all that seemed utterly pointless in her arms. He held her gently, yet tightly as they floated there in the sky, their kiss going on far longer and far more passionately than before. His eyes closed in pleasure as their connection reached it's climax before he eventually broke it, not having the breath to maintain the kiss for so long at these altitudes. As he got his breath back, he smiled lovingly at his mate, gently pressing his forehead to hers. Even 6500 feet above the ground, he couldn't have felt more safe... more loved... Aeizith held her gently as if he wasn't going to fall to his doom. He trusted her.

"I missed you too...." He whispered, giving her a light peck on her lips. "You were all I could think about." He grinned softly as he saw the sun rise behind her, it's orange light reaching around touching the side of her face gently. "If it's possible, you look even more beautiful up here..." He said with a grin before pressing his lips to hers once again, giving her his own brand of passion. He couldn't tell if his light-headedness was from the altitude sickness or being back in the arms of his love, but whatever the case, fuzz grew threw his mind as they kissed. There was nowhere else he'd rather be.

His fingers traced the lines of angelic runes on the back of his left hand, runes that were not actually there. It had seemed so real, the dream he was having just moments ago. Or perhaps it had been hours? Maybe even days. He wasn't sure anymore, time not effecting him as it did for normal beings. The warmth of the sun kissed the skin of his bare chest as he lay back on the most comfortable of resting places. It was quiet here, peaceful even. Still, that hadn't stopped Azireal from obsessing over his dreams and lost memories. His instincts told him that they were one and the same, but instincts were all he really had to go on these days.

"It felt so real..." he said quietly to himself, examining his hands and arms where he now felt there should have been distinct black angelic runes entwining themselves over his body. "Maybe it really was a dream after all. How disappointing." he let his arms fall now, his hands folding over his stomach at the place where mortals might have a belly button, but was simply smooth skin for the wandering angel. He let his eyes close now as his thoughts wandered. Who exactly was he? Why did he have no memories from before he woke up in that field? He just didn't understand it at all.

Just then his relaxing contemplation was interrupted when something shot up next to him through the cloud he had chosen as his place of rest that day. Immediately the angel sat up, an utter look of confusion on his face as he watched what looked to be a female angel with black wings carrying some boy in her arms. There were words of longing and passion exchanged along with a few kisses. "I'm a bit rusty at this, but aren't such displays of affection meant to be done in private? I'm trying to contemplate my life here." he said loud enough for both beings to hear him perfectly clear. He was certain they hadn't noticed him until that point, but it wasn't as if he really cared about that.

Amira simply smiled as Aeizith froze himself, at-least it meant he was careful. She thoroughly enjoyed their kiss. They couldn't stop coming for all she cared, contrary to her however, Aeizith did require to breathe, while her own was just to mimic being alive, she didn't really need to. When their lips parted she simply smiled at him, pressing her forehead against his, letting his at first cold skin warm up as it always did when they touched, it made her feel proud, that she was the one who could cause him to warm up.

''I look beautiful everywhere.'' she added coyly, when it came down to ego, she never had too little. However, she wasn't quite arrogant, as this was clearly meant jokingly. She pressed her lips to his again, stealing another kiss before breaking it again ''You taste great, if I wasn't head over heels in love I'd have eaten you.'' she shook her head for a moment, that was a silly thing to say. Then visually shrugged, as if she was mentally conversing with herself. ''That came out weird.'' she simply added, kissing him again before mumbling something incomprehensible.

The result was that, despite knowing that Aeizith was a dragon, he grew wings. So that he could stay in his human form without risking falling. ''They work like your own wings would, so I think you'll do just fine.'' She slowly let him ease into it, holding on to him with one hand while letting go of the other. When he settled into it, she simply let go, flying in a circle around him for a moment.

Her joy was broken by another voice however. Almost angry, she snapped her head toward the other angel, narrowing her eyes at him as she flew over toward him ''Who do you think you are?'' she simply inquired, circling him for a moment. She faintly recognized him from somewhere, but couldn't quite get herself to remember. ''And why do I feel like I've seen you before?''

"Your lips are as sweet as honey." He retorted, unfazed by the off-beat-ness of her comment. If he hadn't fallen head-over-heels in love himself, he might have BEEN eaten that very day. Even if he didn't know it at the time, the very moment Amira first got close to him was the moment he fell for her. She commented that what she said came out weird and at that, the ice dragon laughed, meeting her kiss with his own. He sighed happily as she pulled away, staring into those soft, beautiful eyes of hers. How did he manage to get so lucky, to stumble upon such a dazzling girl such as her? However and rather suddenly, large feathered winds sprouted from his shoulders, breaking through his jacket and spreading behind him. They were a white, tinted with a light periwinkle near the tip of each feather, the wind brushing past each one made him stare back at them in awe. Amira explained that she gave these to him and that they would work like his own wings, more or less. Slowly, cautiously, Aeizith began to flap his new wings, the wind beneath him pushing him a bit upward with each stroke. Gradually, Amira let him go, allowing him to attempt flight with his own appendages. When he didn't fall to his death and float level with Amira, he smiled widely, floating close to her and giving her a quick, but loving kiss.

"You're too good for me..." He murmured, taking hold of her hands in his. He was about to give her another kiss, closing the distance before a third voice broke their moment, halting Aeizith only inches from her lips. A heavy dark blush flooded across the dragon's face as the newcomer called up to them, saying that they should do what they're doing somewhere more private. Oh, the EMBARRASSMENT! Amira, noticing Aeizith's distress at being noticed, floated down to the new guy, asking who he thought he was and.... where has she seen him before... That question knocked a little bit of his shame off his mind, giving way for curiosity. He floated behind Amira, nearly hiding behind her, looking over her shoulder at the guy who decided to interrupt. He knew most mortals would be protective, be the ones doing what Amira was doing... He should be protecting her, asking what he was even doing here, but all he could mumble was:

"Amira...? Who is this person...?"

The angel simply sighed at the newcomers' remarks. Of course he had to be interrupted by some troublesome beings. Curiosity towards himself was not something he was overly fond of. "Why, I'm Azireal of course. And you two happen to be in my bedroom. Just take a look." he gestured for the pair to look at their surroundings now. As they did so they would notice that they were not where they thought they had been. They would now see the blonde angel lounging on a bed made of the cloud he had just been laying on. Wooden walls surrounded them with a window directly to the right of Azireal, bright light shining through. They were, in fact, inside of what appeared to be a bedroom in a house just as he had said. Of course this was no illusion, not mental trickery. The room was very real. He had conjured it himself in less than a second. If the female angel was any good at all she would have noticed the change happening, but he doubted the other one would.

It wasn't really meant as a display of power or anything of the sort. It was more an attempt at a joke, something which the wanderer generally failed miserably at. This time would be no different. There would barely be enough time for the duo to notice the surrounding room before the entire structure began to plummet to the ground below. The sudden movement sent Azireal flying up to meet the roof, no control over what was happening. "Shit." he managed to say as they fell. It was just like him to forget about something so obvious. Gravity. That was a thing right?

It didn't take long for the house to smash to pieces on the hard earth below, the trio now covered in rubble and dust. The blonde stood up slowly, coughing from the inhalation of powdered earth and wiping the remaining dirt from his shoulders as he did so. "Er, sorry about that. Kind of forgot gravity was a thing. Anyway where did you say you knew me from?" he asked, not even skipping a beat.

Amira simply observed the man infront of her. She knew that name... "Weren't you an envoy of some god back when Symiria was still young?" she quietly observed the room form, questioning the angels sanity. Seconds after as the building began toppling down her suspecions were confirmed... He -is- crazy.

As the building fell she instinctively reached for Aeizith. Even a dragon would not surive an impact from this height and volicity as such she coiled herself and her wings around them both, leaving the angel to his own devices.

Before long the building slammed into the ground like a meteor, black feathers scattering as they were torn loose through the impact. She slowly uncurled herself off of Aeizith, extending her hand to pull him up.

She dusted herself off for a moment, plucking one of her stray feathers from the air with a groan. "how can someone as stupid as you have been an archangel." she spoke focusing her pink gaze on the other angel for now. She sighed, letting her anger subside.

"You mean to tell me you do not remember little old me?"

Aeizith never got his answer as a random building began to form around them, wood, fabric, glass, it all came from absolutely nowhere, forming into what appeared to be the newcomer's house. He actually gazed around in wonder at the detail before his eyes widened at the ceiling rapidly approaching. Amira acted faster than he, pulling him towards her with her wings wrapped around his frame protectively. Even though she tried to shield him from the force of the impact, she wasn't quite large enough to encompass his entire body. As the whole structure hit the ground, Amira and Aeizith slammed into the earth suddenly, the force causing his whole body to scream out in pain. One place in particular wasn't coping well: His leg. As the rest of his body dulled into a throb, his leg burned, pulsing harder and more painfully than the others with his heartbeat. Each throb sent a jolt into his brain, his thoughts clouding further and further... He felt a chill come over him, one that traveled along his pain... It wasn't his natural body chill, this one was inside, in his marrow, his blood... Shock... He could hardly tell where he was among the rubble.... everything around him was blurry and spinning, his sense of direction shifting every few seconds. Vertigo made it hard for him to keep his stomach where it was supposed to be and the pain wasn't helping.

"Amira........." Aeizith moaned, his Azure eyes flicking upwards into his skull.... "I don't feel so good...." It was a pitiful whine, the way he spoke, something that would surely make his elder brother and sister shake their heads in shame. With the last of the strength he had, he lifted his head and forced his eyes downward, looking past his torso. His right leg was twisted at an unnatural angle, blood seeping from his thigh where a chunk of wood had embedded itself. "Wow.... My leg looks weird..." He commented, clearly delirious. At least the ground was soft... a nice place for a nap....

The other angel had simply stood up and wiped the dust off of herself like Azireal had. She seemed relatively unphased. That was good. The other one however...it seemed he was a bit more fragile. The blonde would fix that in a minute. He was more interested in what the one who was apparently called Amira had to say. An envoy for a God? An archangel? Just who the hell was he before? "Remember you? Hm..." he thought hard for a moment, his left hand resting on his chin. There was a lazy flick of his right wrist in the direction of the other male. Instantly all of the boy's injuries would vanish. It would be as if nothing had happened at all. Even the shock and delirium would be gone. The angel wouldn't have even payed the slightest bit of attention to him besides the lazy flick though.

"Nope. Not a clue. Sorry, but I seem to have lost my memories. An envoy to a God did you say?" he said, only seconds after his first response. "Your boyfriend seems a bit fragile." he added nonchalantly. He looked around at all the debris littering the ground now. It was as if he was noticing it for the first time. His face turned into a frown, it was a displeasing sight to behold. Sighing, he waved his right hand and the ground was now free of obstructions. No evidence of the poorly made joke remained. Finally he turned to the boy now, addressing him for the first time. "Er, sorry about that. You should be fine now though. No hard feelings, right?"

Amira coiled her arms around Aeizith, her eyes fixated on his leg for a while before simply cradling him. For the first time ever, she wished she was a holy angel rather then an unholy one. She could've helped him. She shot an angry glare at Azireal, her eyes narrowed as she held Aeizith's head against her cheek.

''Don't look at it honey, just stay still and talk to me.'' she was a bit overly dramatic maybe. She was convinced that if he lost his consciousness something bad would happen. Despite knowing deep down that he'd just pass out, he was not bleeding or losing blood after all. When the other angel spoke she simply remained silent, rage welling up inside of her.

When the angel healed Aeizith like it was nothing she snapped, anger welled up as she strut over to the angel, her face covered in a soft smile, holding Aeizith in her arms.''Don't worry, no hard feelings.'' she then spun around, her foot digging into Azireal's chest, sending him skipping across the floor until he finally met a large boulder, slamming into it.

She then turned her attention to the lovely dragon in her arms. He seemed fine now, just a bit exhausted. Heck, it'd be strange if he wasn't. She gently nuzzled him, rubbing her cheek against his as she slowly slunk down again, placing his head on her legs so he could relax a little. ''I'm sorry that I couldn't completely protect you.'' she simply muttered, she sort of felt that she had failed. If she couldn't even protect him from a fall.. how was she to protect him from someone who would actually fight him?

"I...." Aeizith muttered, his eyes beginning to flutter shut. It was so hard to stay awake... Why was it so hard to stay awake...? His view of Amira began to dull, details becoming less and less prominent... Just as he was about to fall unconscious, his sleepiness, his the deathly chill of shock, it all disappeared in an instant as was the heavy damage to his leg. It was straight undamaged (save for his pants covered in blood) and the only remnant that he was ever hurt at all was an incredible physical exhaustion that wracked his muscles with a vengeance. They burned, his body weighed a ton, and there was still the minor influence of drowsiness coming over him. He felt like he had done several exercizes way beyond his body's capability, overworking himself and paying for it.

Amira picked him up in her arms, cradling the larger dragon as if he were an infant. He looked up at her in surprise at this gesture, his mind still catching up with what happened. He watched in silence as she slammed her foot into the newcomer's chest, sending him bouncing off the ground until he was out of sight. Then and there, his angel knelt down, gently placing his head on her legs, apologizing to him with a sorrow that made his heart ache worse than the whole of his body. He stared up into those mournful pinks of hers in concern, forcing any and all remaining energy into his right arm, giving it JUST ENOUGH for his pointer and middle fingers to gently stroke the side of her cheek. His body trembled with the effort, obviously ridiculously taxed from having an entire house fall on him. He didn't like Amira's sadness, her regret as she held him. He didn't like that it was his own weakness that had hurt her so...

"Its okay.... I'm alive... see?" he mumbled, his lips slow clumsy. His arm fell across his chest, his energy expended. His breath was heavy, painful, each one an effort in it of itself, but he forced that air into his lungs, made easier by cooling it to the point it could be manipulated, forcing it into his body in an effort to save physical energy. "There's.... no need.... to apologize.... you saved... me..." He smiled up at her, gently rubbing his cheek against her leg. "I still... love you..."

Amira, now cradling the healed male in her arms, walked calmly over to Azireal and had agreed there were no hard feelings. Though, she did send him flying with a powerful kick right afterward. Her strength was amazing. Not surprising, really, since she was an angel, but still. The amnesiac angel went flying backwards at an intense speed. After what was probably a few miles he hit the ground for the first time, his head bouncing off of the rough earth and sending him tumbling backwards again and again as if he were a rock being skipped across a lake.

He managed to cross his arms as he bounced along, a pensive look took hold of him. I wonder what that was about? Maybe it's how she says thank you. I'll have to ask her. he thought to himself. The was a loud crash as his back slammed through the side of a small mountain, the impact jarring his body but no real damage being done. He tried to move, but quickly realized he was embedded in the rock face. Calling upon a fraction of his full strength, he ripped his body free and landed gently on the ground below.  His right hand was lifted to just above his eyes as he tried to see how far he had gone. The others were no where in sight. He whistled then, impressed at what one simple kick could do.

There was a noise like the rumbling growl of an enormous beast that caught his attention. He took a quick look around, but didn't see anything. Finally he looked up, just in time to see a handful of massive boulders falling onto him, remnants of the mountain he had crashed into. "Oh." A cloud of dust surrounded the angel from the destruction of the boulders. When it cleared, a golden orb was encircling Azireal. A shield of holy magic. It flickered then before completely disappearing. He closed his eyes now, large white feathered wings sprouting from his back which he spread as he prepared to take off. His body became low in a crouching position, the ground becoming a crater underneath as he shot into the air at blinding speed. In a mere three seconds he was landing gently on the ground in front of Amira. "Er, did I do something wrong or is that how you say thank you?" he said to her now, completely serious with a quizzical look on his face.

Amira seemed to be caught in her own thought for a while. Simply pondering how it was that she had failed. She grasped Aeizith's hand and pressed it against her cheek when she felt it, nothing being as comforting as him anymore. She quietly snickered, not because she thought this was funny. But how Aeizith did more then she thought he ever would. He was proving to be quite a good match for her. Initially, she figured they could try. But now, she was pretty much convinced, she had been for a while but how he immediately turned to comforting her despite he being the one hurt just confirmed that to her.

''I'm glad to hear, I won't let him hurt you again.'' she then turned her attention the side as the angel once again arrived, causing her to frown. She had of course anticipated he would survive. She had no intention of killing him, but the stupidity of his question baffled her. ''I kicked you cause you hurt my boyfriend and expected there to be no ''hard feelings'' she made air quotations, using her hands to settle Aeizith a bit closer to her stomach, arching his back into a more comfortable position with her legs.

''You should really try being more considerate, Azireal.'' she snapped. Before her expression grew neutral again. She felt somewhat bad for the angel, he clearly had no real intention of hurting anyone. But she still felt that savage need to protect Aeizith, dragging her hands through his hair, not just to calm him but also herself.

"Thank you..." He whispered as Amira promised him she wouldn't allow him to be hurt again. Amira was so many things... She was powerful, terrifyingly so, she was also sweet and gentle, funny and light hearted... He could drain souls and she could give her love... She was beautiful... Truly, being the simple mortal that he was, Aeizith did not deserve to be held and cared for by such a being and he was anyway. He felt so special... like nothing else in the world... He smiled widely up at his lover as she called him her boyfriend and how defensive she got. He loved it when she called him that... It felt so good to hear. He loved how she openly acknowledged their love for each other, right down to the way she held him, propping him up on her belly so he could get a better view. If he had the strength, he would have swallowed his shame, turned around and planted a kiss right on her lips, pinning her there against a wall with no intent of letting her slip away. However, his muscles would not comply. Every time he tried to sit up, they only shivered and quaked and burned against his bones, barely getting himself an inch or two up before his body betrayed him. It didn't matter though. He was in the trustworthy and capable hands of his girlfriend.

Aeizith turned his gaze down on the other angel, the one that put him in such a sorry state. As Amira chastised him for his actions, Aeizith stared at him with a sort of icy neutrality, bordering on a cold hostility. Despite his lack of bodily movement, he felt protective of Amira just as she did him. Yes, it was silly to put himself back in the line of fire after being incapacitated by a falling house, but she was still his Amira, his lovely angel of death and he simply wouldn't let her get hurt like he had.

"Azireal...? That... is your name....?" Aeizith asked, small, pitiful excuses for icicles sprouting from the ruined wood that was the floor of this room. He was trying desperately to be some kind of threat, to get him to back off, to be something OTHER THAN USELESS but he was met with his own silent disappointment. "Do... you normally.... drop houses on........" Aeizith attempted to catch his breath. "people... you.... meet?"

Things finally started to make sense to the male angel now, there were certainly hard feelings there. He frowned then, upset with himself for still not understanding how things worked here after wandering for centuries. He had apologized right? He even healed the injuries he had indirectly caused. From what he knew, that should have been enough to make amends. It was something he would take mental notes on for later use. "Oh." he said in response to Amira's answer. Be more considerate? Yes. He probably should have considered the outcome more before forming that house in the clouds. He was clever, but often didn't use his cleverness appropriately. Thinking things through wasn't really his strong suit.

"You're right. Guess I should have considered the outcome of creating that house. I apologized already and healed the boy's injuries though, was that not sufficient recompense?" he asked seriously. He wanted to know what the social protocol was for accidentally dropping a house on someone and breaking their leg. If there was one.

He was distracted by the boy then, hearing his name being called. He seemed very weak now, but somehow managed to make a few small icicles appear surrounding him. Ice magic! Azireal had always loved snow and ice. There was just something about it that he found beautiful. The blonde angel's wings flapped once then, lifting him from the ground before carrying him forward quickly to settle on the ground next to the boy. "Oooh! Are you an ice mage? Can you make more? I love ice; it's so beautiful!" he said, not meaning to ignore the question that had been posed to him. He just had a tendency to act on impulse and was easily distracted.

"You seem too weak right now though. Those icicles are pretty unimpressive. Wait! I have an idea." he said before immediately reaching out with his left hand to gently touch the back of the ice dragon's right hand. Instantly three black angelic runes appeared where the angel's fingers had touched, intertwining themselves to appear as one complete symbol. He couldn't replenish stamina or mana with his own powers, but gifting such abilities to others was a simple task. "If you use one of those markings I just placed on you you should feel completely revitalized! They won't regenerate though, so it's only good for three uses. But if you use one now you can show me more of your ice magic, right!?" he exclaimed with enthusiasm. The excitement was plain on the angel's face now as he waited to see what would happen next.

Amira gently wrapped her arms around Aeizith's frame, holding him tight as he spoke. She contemplated many things, she wanted to lash out, to utterly destroy Azireal for what he had done. But at the same time she was conflicted.. Why was she feeling this intense need? was it Aeizith alone or was there more to it? she couldn't quite convince herself of either, but settled on the fact that Aeizith just meant much more to her then she herself wants to admit, as odd as that may sound.

As mighty of a dragon he would become, he'd always appear fragile compared to herself.. Unless.. she shook her head, she didn't want to take his freedom from him for her own selfish needs. She quietly listened, finally being able to make up her mind about something. ''The fact that you hurt him in the first place is unforgivable, no matter what you do after.'' she simply muttered, cradling Aeizith almost like he had died in her arms.

When the angel reached for his arm she hissed, she wondered whether he was just stupid or suicidal, swatting at him with her hand ''stay away from him or by Symiria I will destroy you.'' she grit her teeth, the land around them beginning to corrupt with her anger. The sky growing dark solely through her anger. ''I will not ask again.'' she simply stated. In all her range though, she continued to be gentle with Aeizith, placing a kiss on his neck ''Be still, my love... he will not hurt you again.''

Aeizith grit his teeth in outrage as Azireal referred to him as a "Ice mage." AN ICE MAGE! It was the equivalent of calling a professional chef a stay-at-home cook! Without him even intended to do so, the air around him dropped to sinister temperatures, enough perhaps to even catch Amira off guard with how drastic a change in the temperature. Ice crept along the shattered floors of the house's interior as Aeizith's body began to pulse. Even though she held onto him so protectively, how she threatened to destroy the opposing angel if he came close, it was time for this dragon to do the protecting.

"Amira... Please let go..." He'd ask before two wings suddenly burst forth from his shoulders, leathery and torn, covered in black scales, His body rose and contorted into a quadrupedal shape, growing massive tail as his face melded into something triangular. claws sprouted from Aeizith's fingers as they morphed into toes, an icy light blue glow emanating from his maw as he opened it. There, curled around Amira was a large, 18 foot black dragon, frost blowing between it's curved fangs as it breathed. He'd show this creature "ice magic..." Aeizith lowered his head and opened his mouth, head aimed in the direction of the angel. After only a second's pause, a massive bluish beam erupted from the dragon's mouth, turning whatever it touched to pure ice. The walls, the wood, the floors. So drastic was the temperature change that whatever froze to that ice breath cracked and shattered only a few moments later and the Angel would surely be no different. A icy white fog coated the area where the area once stood but Aeizith was not done. With a stamp of his front claw, a bed of ice-needles at least a foot wide sprung up from the floor where Azireal once stood, only stopping their ascent once they embedded themselves in the remaining ceiling. From there, however, the dragon did not persue. It stayed coiled around its lover as if it were the treasure Dragons in stories would protect. His wings folded over her like a dome, the trapped air inside surprisingly warm in contrast to the sub-zero temperatures outside. Snow began to fall from the sky as Aeizith roared a warning, his claws digging into the ground as if it were water.

His attempts to rejuvenate the youngling's life energies were rejected quickly by Amira smacking his outstretched hand away. Rationally speaking, Azireal thought the black-winged angel was being a bit over-dramatic. No real harm had been caused. Still, it was quite obvious that she was angry. Not a normal angel either. She kept mentioning some Goddess named 'Symiria'. The skies darkened as her temper rose and the ground beneath her began to decay and wither. He had a feeling there was something off about this one, but now he knew for certain. She was Fallen. Not your run-of-the-mill fallen either. This one had true power.

He didn't get to respond to her threats though. His focused was returned to the boy as he told the anomaly to let go. Leathery wings suddenly burst forth from the boy's back, his body contorting and growing larger. Definitely not an ice mage. Before long a black dragon was standing before the blonde angel, blue light emanating from it's mouth. A frost dragon! What a rare sight... he thought to himself as a blast of bright blue came down upon him from inside the frost dragon's mighty jaw. When it was over, a large block of ice was standing in Azireal's place, a look of absolute wonder etched on the angel's face before it shattered to pieces, the wanderer along with it.

"I see. So you're a frost dragon. My apologies, I didn't mean to offend you. It appears you can manipulate the water molecules in the air and freeze them at will as well as create a blast of pure mana from your jaw that accelerates the freezing process on whatever it touches to the point that the ensuing ice will last for but a moment before shattering. That's quite impressive. I haven't the opportunity to meet one of your kind in my wanderings." the angel's voice could be heard from the sky above the strange couple. He had been wandering Le'raana for centuries now, but never had he had the opportunity to cross paths with such unique creatures. A powerful frost dragon and, by the looks of things, a Fallen archangel.

The look on Azireal's face now was entirely different, as was his persona. His eyes showed it all. No longer were they the eyes of an eccentric man that hungered for knowledge. These were the eyes of a being that had been through countless battles, led armies and always defeated his enemy. His mind may have forgotten his past, but his body certainly remembered. And his intellect was very much intact. "And you," he said now to the female, "By your strength, the color of your wings, your inability to heal the frost dragon and how the sky darkens and the ground beneath you corrupts as your temper rises I'd assume it's correct that you're a Fallen angel? Judging from your constant use of the name 'Symiria' and the level of power I've seen thus far probably one of her archangels no doubt." he continued. It had become clear that this was no longer a friendly environment and his body and mind had shifted gears automatically, deserting the playful naivete that was so potent just moments ago.

If they had looked up to the source of the voice at all they would see Azireal hovering 8 meters above their heads with his arms crossed in front of his chest. His wings flapped every few seconds or so, making his body dip down and then rise again to maintain his chosen altitude. "I don't wish to fight you. In my current state I would lose. The frost dragon would present a challenge, yes, but I wouldn't be able to take on an archangel. Perhaps we can resolve this peacefully?" he asked.

Amira let out a short surprised yelp as her boyfriend suddenly began assuming his real form, stepping back before being sheltered by his wings. She didn't realize much of what happened outside, she heard him exhale, which didn't leave much up to imagination. She was pretty proud of him, but she wondered why he had felt the need to. Perhaps her defending him was working against his pride as a dragon? No, surely he knew that that was how it was going to be from day one, she wasn't exactly a normal girl.

When everything ceased she slowly pushed his wings aside. The lingering cold unable to bother her. She was somewhat surprised at his prowess, actually succeeding at freezing the angel for a few moments. She figured he was just warning the angel or something. She gently dragged a hand along Aeizith scales, enjoying the sensation of the cold but sturdy scales. She finally turned her attention back to the other angel as he began speaking, a strange change in tune within his voice and eyes.

She couldn't help but snicker at the sudden swap from idiot to seemingly intelligent. She was however, as per usual of herself, not impressed. She had known this angel before, she didn't know why he was here now but she knew he had been doubting. ''You know, my comrades whispered of you to me. How you doubted your god.. Were you cast down?'' she simply inquired between his words.

When he spoke about her, she simply giggled. My, such a smooth talker. But I assure you, I am the only Archangel of Symiria... I'ts why I am so powerful, I am all of her archangel's combined in one.'' She placed her hands behind her back, taking it a somewhat business like stance, as if she was speaking to some kind of possible buyer. ''I suppose we gave you enough payback for what has happened, but you should ask my boyfriend, its him you hurt.'' she gently caressed Aeizith side, she didn't know if he could even feel it, but she felt comfortable because of it.

Aeizith watched as his frost-breath blasted over the angel, encasing him in a massive crystal shard of ice. It seemed he was surprised at the act, the ice shattering and he was no more. At least, thats what the dragon thought before he heard his voice just over head. Aeizith craned his neck upward, seeing the angel floating just eight feet above him, undamaged and with a seemingly more complex look about him. He seemed more... serious, analytical. The way he spoke reflected that fact, relaying Aeizith's abilities and how they were used right down to the last detail. His ability at discerning others was.... disturbing... He felt Amira slip out from under his wings, stepping out into the freezing atmosphere with little (if any) apparent discomfort. It seemed she could even survive temperatures that would chill the blood of the most insulated mortal, making Aeizith hold his girlfriend in an even higher regard than he had before. Aeizith did, in fact, feel Amira trace the scales along his side as she traded words with the Angel. The act was... soothing and her touch warm. He felt his biting anger dissipate as she ran her fingers along him and he sat there quietly beside her, still, but far from docile.

He still held his suspicions of Azireal, even if he wasn't an immediate threat. Amira spoke of this angel being "cast down", whatever that mean, that he had doubted his god. Aezith had no idea what that all meant. He wasn't versed in any of the angelic ways or that of gods. He didn't know how they functioned or what their jobs were, but Amira seemed to be implying that he was thrown out because he didn't have the utmost confidence in his lord. He internally snickered. Sounded like Emilia. Azireal made an observation about Amira as well, mainly commenting about her power and how entirely defenseless he'd be if they were to come to blows. Again, he asked if they could resolve their issues without a fight and Amira shifted the decision to her mate, saying that it was his call on the grounds that he was the one hurt. Aeizith stared up at the angel, trying to decide if he wanted to forgive him. The only real reasons he would was that 1, he appeared insane, and 2, he was a divine being or at least formerly. Aeizith shrunk back down to his human shape, his clothes manifesting on his body as he did so (save for the holes made by the angelic wings). He found that he was able to stand on his own, some of the strength of his dragon form remaining. He wrapped his arms around his girlfriend, still glaring up at the Azireal coldly.

"Fine... I forgive you." He grumbled, shifting his eyes back down on the icy floor. More than anything, he was disappointed that his moment with Amira was being disrupted by this angel's presence. The house falling on him definitely made Aeizith mad, but.... more than anything, he wanted some time alone with his lover... It wasn't every day that he got to see her, what with her duties and all. Maybe he was being immature and impatient or maybe he just loved her that much. He knew for sure, though that he loved her enough to disrupt her conversation as little as possible. She obviously was intrigued with this angel and what his past was. Aeizith wasn't going to stand in her way with his jealousy.

To Azireal's relief Amira had stated that he had received enough payback from them, as long as the dragon agreed. There was a moment of quiet tension before the frost dragon returned to it's human form, begrudgingly saying that he forgave the angel. It appeared that this, at least, was finally settled. "Thank you. I feel I'm at a disadvantage here," he said to the boy now, "You know my name, but I haven't caught yours yet." True they hadn't actually managed to formally introduce themselves, but Azireal had given them his name and he had heard the youngling say Amira's. His, however, had not yet been uttered.

Whether he received an answer to his query or not, he would then descend from his perch and walk forward to stop a few feet in front of Amira, his wings retracting into his body once more. "Cast down? No, I don't believe so. Like I mentioned earlier, my memories have been completely wiped from my mind and I can't recall my life before I woke up here a few centuries ago. Though, if I had been cast down I wouldn't be able to do half of the things I've done in our meeting alone, right?" The discontent of being unable to recall just who he was was clearly written on his face now as he spoke. The mystery of it was something he thought about constantly, searching for a way to regain what he had lost.

"I can't say whether I doubted my God or not, but someone or something did this to me. I have been wandering Le'raana for the past couple centuries now in hopes that I could find out what happened, and possibly regain that which I've lost." It probably wasn't very smart to reveal this information to those that had been enemies just moments before since it could be taken as his weakness, but he just couldn't help himself. He thought, no, he hoped that maybe another angel, fallen or otherwise, could help him solve this mystery.

As if smelling Aeizith jealousy, Amira walked over to her boyfriend, took his hands and placed them on her hips, pushing her back against his chest as she simply relaxed against him, curiously listening to the other angel speak. She was somewhat surprised as to the extend of how much he seemed to have forgotten, surely being thrown from the sky and forced to live here would be hard to forget.

''Some think being cast down simply means falling from grace with your god.'' she leaned her head back, looking up at Aeizith, giving him a wink. Before looking at the angel again, almost amused. ''you do have this.. weird sensation about you.'' she said pointedly, curiously nudging her head as she looked at him as if there was something on his chest. ''Almost... Like a seal?'' she shrugged somewhat, making sure not to force Aeizith to move out of this position.

''If anything, whoever did this to you wanted you to forget.'' she pondered whether she aid this angel. She knew it was within her power to break said seal, but she didn't quite feel that helping him was beneficial to her, or to Symiria. he was a light wielder after all, a natural enemy. ''I wonder how you could possibly get rid of it though.'' She was lying, but there was absolutely no sign of it. Being a seductress and silver tongued fiend, she could feed anyone any kind of lie and they'd buy it, even other angels. This wouldn't be the first time she tricked an angel.

The Ice Dragon smiled softly as Amira placed his hands on her hips, leaning her back against his chest as if to say "I'm yours." The act sent a wave of warmth through his body, a wave of trust, one that banished any sense of jealousy that was once present in his system. He sighed lightly and rested his chin on her shoulder, his cool breath running down her neck and chest, happy that she would indulge him like this... When Azireal asked Aeizith's name, he paused a moment. It wasn't as if he were trying to keep it a secret or anything. Hardly anyone knew who he was and he had no reason NOT to give it.... His natural inhibitions were difficult habits to break... His confidence normally didn't come easy but with Amira there, in his arms, he felt a surge of strength through him. He looked up at the angel, a bit of the edge in his eyes lost.

"...Aeizith." He introduced himself. It was funny how life worked and he wasn't thinking about how all their names started with the letter 'A'. More, it was that this was the second Angel he had come in contact with when most mortals would call it a delivery of god to glimpse just one. He supposed that would make him a holy Icon to converse with one so freely, lost memory or not, and then have an intimate relationship with another. He snickered quietly at the thought, just imagining how many people would kill to be in his shoes, then kill to get out of them. He held Amira gently to him as she observed the Azireal, smiling a little wider when she turned to wink at him. She seemed to know what made him smile... What made him love her so much. Of course, that was Amira just being herself and the ease and grace of her execution only made her all the more desirable.

Amira seemed to stare at Azireal, intrigued by his chest particularly. His first thought was that she found something there she liked, but he quickly discarded that notion in favor of another. Amira was far more powerful than him and, by that logic, she should be able to sense deeper ingrained magics than he can. Was there some kind of spell at work cast upon the other angel? His question seemed to be confirmed as his girlfriend wagered there was something like a seal cast upon him, that apparently it's function was to make him forget. Aeizith didn't see any particular markings that would indicate such a spell, but he was but a young and humble dragon not even in his prime. What did he know about the ways of magic?

As Amira seemed to contemplate how to remove the seal, Aeizith decided he would ask a question himself.

"Do you not remember a thing about your life? Perhaps a rank you once held?" Again, Aeizith had no idea if Angels even HELD ranks. He was just assuming.

"Well look at what we have here" her cynical voice interrupting whatever was taking place before her. Mockingly Kaida slowly clapped her hands together as if applauding the scene ahead. Her voice could be heard before she appeared from the tree line stepping over a half frozen and broken piece of wood laying in her path. "Do my eyes deceive me or does my dearest brother have a girlfriend?" her eyes searched the woman encased in his arms, a pang of jealousy ringing through her gaze.

Following the young dragoness was a small figure covered in a head to toe dark green cloak, the hood up shadowing the face of whomever lay beneath it. The figure stood straight with gloved hands held in front of them in a non threatening manner.

Acting as if her companion did not even exist Kaida continued to walk towards the strange gathering. She stopped a few feet from them all before crossing her arms across her breasts and placing the majority of her weight on one foot causing her hips to shift. Her companion followed her stopping just behind Kaida, the demeanor of the figure not faltering.

Turning her attention to the male standing alone she raised a brow before shaking her head and turning back to the real issue at hand. "So... this is the great Amira?" she chuckled as the woman's name left her lips before turning to her companion for a moment and then turning back. "I have heard much about you... I would love for you to meet our eldest sister one day. I am sure it would be quite a spectacle." her words an attempt to entice the woman.

Searching for Aieziths eyes Kaida scanned his face, she could see that he was happy. As much as she wanted it to be good news and for her brother to be happy, this unfortunately was not the best way to go about it. "Sister is going to be furious....." she whispered to him even though all of them could hear her.

"I couldn't help but overhear your conversation..." Kaidas crimson eyes now rested on the other angel at the scene. "I would love to help you find yourself" her words carrying an obviously devilish tone to them. "I have plenty of tools to help 'unlock' the mind" snickering she turned to her companion.

"Isn't that right Jaela?" her question naming the unknown companion accompanying her on this day.

Reaching up gloved hands Jaela pulled the hood down exposing her long pink hair and vivid eyes. Immediately they darted to Amira before she casted them downwards at Kaidas feet. "Yes miss"

Aiezith most likely could have been able to tell whom Kaida had with her from the moment she made her presence known. Jaela had always been Kaidas favorite play thing and even now was her most trusted comrade, other than her siblings. For years Jaela's  screams were one of the many that emanated from Kaida's dungeons before one day she finally broke.

... and now there was nothing that Kaida could not trust Jaela with. She had sworn her services to the young dragon before being released into the world. Vowing to be her eyes and ears for the rest of her days. Kaida of course allowed Jaela to live a relatively free life, the only condition being that if her assistance were needed that she would accompany her in whatever task needed to be completed. Kaida had suspicions something was going on with Aiezith lately. He was just too happy.... so she had Jaela keep an ear out.

It didn't take long for the report to come back that not only did her favorite brother have a lover, but that Jaela happened to know her. At first Kaida wanted nothing more than to kill the angel after being told of her. She knew it was the most humane thing to do for Aiezith as she knew Emilia would most likely not be pleased. But once Jaela informed her of how strong the angel really was Kaida knew she was no match. Yes Kaida was a strong dragon and very proud of her talents, but she was not stupid. She believed that even a battle between this angel and her eldest sister could result in a possible draw. So instead she came from the citadel herself, only to persuade her brother how horrible of a decision this all was.

The only regret Kaida seemed to carry was that 'so far' she had kept all of her findings a secret from her sister. The guilt of that alone was enough to send her into a slaughtering tantrum... but she withheld.

Jaela continued to stand there silent with her hands together in front of her, her gaze still downcast... an odd temperament for her to anyone not from the Black-Hearth citadel.

He had been searching for centuries now for the answer to his missing memories and this girl, this archangel, sensed a seal placed on him within minutes of being in his presence. She was impressive indeed. The question had been asked how he could remove the seal. Azireal had absolutely no idea, but perhaps he could sway this woman to help him. It was worth a shot. Before he spoke, however, Aeizith had asked if he had remembered anything at all from his past life. "Sadly, young frost dragon, I can't remember anything at all save my name. I wish I could, it would certainly help me in regaining what was taken." he answered.

Then he turned to Amira. "A seal? I've been searching for clues for centuries now and yet you were able to detect a seal within minutes. That's very impressive. I've certainly no idea how to release it. Would you be willing to work with me to try and solve this problem? I'd certainly do anything in my power to repay you." It was a sincere offer and request, one he hoped would be answered positively.

Just then a new being arrived on the scene in the form of a young girl followed by another hooded figure. Brother? So this girl was the sibling of the frost dragon! How delightful it was to meet not one, but two dragons in one day! She addressed Amira next, saying she had heard much about the archangel and how she wished the woman could meet their elder sister.

When she finally addressed Azireal, her offered help to 'unlock' his mind sounded as if there was a double meaning behind that to the male. The look of happy idiocy had returned to the blonde angel's face now, the mask he so often resorted to when he was around mortals. "Ah! I'm so happy to meet another dragon. Are you a frost dragon too?" the angel said as he walked in a circle around the new girl and her acquaintance, his face now having a look of intense curiosity about him as he studied her. After one full circle he stopped in front of the girl again. "Your offer is most generous my lady, but it would seem there is a powerful seal placed upon me and, though I'm sure you have much power of your own, I don't believe your......capabilities....would be adequate in resolving this measure. Perhaps another time?" he said with a not of finality, a smile punctuating his sentence before returning to face Amira once more. "So. What do you say?'

Amira snickered broadly as she heard the new arrival begin speaking, casually strutting over to face Kaida. Whatever kind of provocation Kaida might've thought to star she would fail. Amira was entirely unmoved by her comment and instead coldly spoke ''The people I play with tend to break.'' she then turned her gaze toward Jaela, her eyes betraying nothing, but deep down she felt like striking Kaida down on the spot.

She turned her attention back to Azireal. A wicked grin surfacing on her face. Sure, she could easily undo his seal, but why in the name of everything un-holy would she? what was in it for her? good will? that was the last thing that drove her forward. She placed a hand on her chin, clearly contemplating what to demand. ''What's in it for me.. Angel.'' she stated promptly, she herself had no idea what he could possibly offer her, but she wagered she could at-least see if anything could possibly come out of it.

She then turned to face Kaida again, her eyes narrowed down for only the slightest of moments as she strut toward her, completely un-impressed by her appearance. ''Ah, you must be the favored sibling. I've learned my fair share about you through your brother.'' she stepped closer,  crackles of black energy crossing her body. ''Why am I convinced you have something to do with his state of mind?''

Aeizith might note that certain savagery return to her movements from the first day they had met. That she was preparing for just about anything, violence being the most prominent one.

Aeizith froze, very nearly literally, as he saw his youngest sister approach with a cloaked partner in tow.

"Wha.... Kaida...? W-what are you d-doing here?" He stammered, a blast of blackish-blush surging across his face. It was bad when Azireal saw him with Amira, as intimate as could be but now Kaida? KAIDA? He tore his hood over his head and face and let out an embarrassed groan as she stated the obvious. He hadn't told anyone about Amira... Not Emilia, not Electi, not Eira and certainly not Kaida... Now she would tell all of them and they would all know... Then, after they all knew, if he wasn't killed on the spot, they would punish him, yell at him, scare him into leaving his love or worse.... They might start giving him tips... The dragon slumped up against a nearby piece of broken wood, slipping down to the ground as Amira confronted his younger sister, a sinister tone in her voice. Aeizith's mind buzzed with all the different and horrible scenarios that would  surely take place, each one more horrible than the last.... His family turning their backs on him, Kaida's torture room while she did what she did best, Emilia formally discarding him from their family in disgrace... He only shivered in response to Kaida's taunting whisper, the whole of the shattered house crawling with ice.

The little ice-dragon glanced up from his place on the ground, seeing (and also feeling) the black energies that coursed around Amira. Each word she spoke felt like they were charged with magical power, adding to the force of her tone. She stood toe to toe with Kaida, her back to him as the dark angle jumped to his defense. He could only imagine one or two of those magical sparks would have been enough to end his sister... With that and Amira's angered state in mind, his fear for himself translated to his fear for his sibling... Aeizith forced himself to his wobbling feet, making his way up behind his girlfriend before throwing his over her shoulders, pulling her into an embrace from behind.

"Please don't hurt her..." He begged in a near whisper. The risk of losing his life and his relationship with Amira was bad enough, but if Kaida were to get hurt because of him too... he wouldn't be able to bare it. After he pleaded with his lover to spare his sister, the ice dragon turned his gaze back on his sibling, eyes meeting hers for the absolute briefest of seconds before falling to her feet.

"Don't tell Emilia...." He mumbled, trembling somewhat. "Please... please don't tell....." The cloaked figure lowered their hood to reveal a girl with long pink hair, someone Aeizith might have known before... Then again, a lot of humans looked alike, radical hair-colors aside. The ice dragon didn't even bother to try and meet eyes with Azireal. He couldn't work up the strength to do so under this shroud of shame.... With his face burning cold with his blush, Aeizith could only hope he could salvage the situation.... A slim hope indeed.

Kaida snickered at the male angels comment. "A frost dragon?" she responded almost laughing before placing her hands behind her back and rocking back and forth on her toes. Her reaction to his comment hopefully being enough of an answer for him. She couldn't help but be slightly disappointed in his declining to her offer of unlocking his mind.

Ignoring her brothers stammering surprise her carefree attitude quickly disintegrated as the female Angel took a few steps towards her. "The favored sibling" ringing in her mind. Anger slowly rose in her as she too took a step towards Amira, now standing toe to toe with her. Her accusation of being the cause of Aiezith's sensitivity to the world sending her almost off the edge. Silently Kaida stood off with the angel, knowing she was clearly at a disadvantage and outmatched.

Bits of black ash began to rise from the ground almost swirling around the young dragon, both of their energies seeming to spark upon contact. It was then that Aiezith jumped to his feet and wrapped his arms around Amira. Almost as quickly as it all began Kaida took a step back, a faint flash of regret crossing her face before going back to its normal snarky state. What was this? Aiezith pleading for the angel not to hurt her? And now pleading with Kaida not to tell Emelia?

Taking all the energy she had built up within herself Kaida turned to Jaela before lifting a fist and throwing it in her direction. The shear contact with her skin caused the form of Jaela to burst into black ash and embers, similar to the ones rising from the ground during her stand off. Jaela was never really here... just an illusion Kaida had manifested in a hope for some familiarity with Amira. Of course Kaida could have just willed the form of Jaela to disintegrate, but this was much more therapeutic.

In an attempt to shift her attention and obvious regretful feelings towards Aiezith she glanced at him for only a moment before a copy of herself appeared beside him. The copy stood silently staring at him, its eyes squinting as it judged him and his embrace on the angel. "I won't tell" it whispered before dramatically bursting into ash as well, the whole charade only a means of not going near Amira again. The original Kaida now turned her attention towards the male angel as she watched him from the corner of her vision. What if he were as hostile as Amira?

A peculiar scene seemed to be unfolding before him now, one he had certainly not anticipated. Sparks flying, tempers flared and pleas for mercy went about so fast. The cloaked woman that had accompanied the dragonness was incinerated on the spot before a second dragonness appeared next to Aeizith and then spontaneously combusted seconds later.

The moment everyone's attention had turned to the newcomer instead of Azireal he simply leaned backwards as if her were to fall straight onto his back on the hard ground. Of course that wasn't the case. Instead a small, pure white, fluffy cloud formed underneath the blonde angel as he rested his head on his right hand, elbow on the soft surface while his legs dangled over the edge. He chose to merely watch what happened next, not interested in interfering.

When Kaida finally returned her attention to Azireal he merely winked at the young dragon, a coy smile on his face. "Well that's all very fascinating." he said enthusiastically, albeit with a bit of sarcasm. "Well, Amira, I'm not sure what would hold your interest, but I can tell you what it is I'm capable of. Perhaps after you hear that we can come to some sort of agreement?" he asked the fallen angel. Without waiting for an answer he continued. "Let's see. Well I can use any and all forms of light magic imaginable, I can alter the memories of anyone I choose. I can heal any physical, emotional or mental wound, bestow whatever ability I wish upon those I will to have them and, of course, any non-sentient thing you can think of I can make into reality. So, do any of those abilities pique your interest enough to help me figure out how to remove this seal I apparently have on me?"

Amira couldn't help but stare down the girl, but when Aeizith pulled her into an embrace from behind she let her muscles relax, the black energies ceasing to tear across her skin, for now at-least. She couldn't help but raise a brow at the clone that had appeared, before gently taking Aeizith's arms and releasing herself from his hug.

''I suppose.'' she simply stated, shifting her attention toward the other angel. Her posture changed almost instantaneously, taking on a more business styled stance as she folded her hands behind her back. She contemplated many things she could ask, there were some things even she couldn't do, not yet at-least. Perhaps he could take away her one great weakness?

A broad smile appeared on her lips ''Make me light magic as ineffective as black magic on me.'' she promptly stated ''Permanently.'' she stepped closer toward the angel, her eyes  fixated on his chest before looking up on his face. She was considerably smaller, but she felt massive right now. All the strings were in her hands.

''Don't even think of tricking me.'' she promptly stated, clearly not trusting the angel to actually make her immune. She could understand why, she would become considerably harder to beat, forcing beings of light to fight her about as effectively as a normal mortal would. ''Do that and I will help you with that little.. issue of yours.'' she shrugged ''Don't and.. well, unless you come up with something better you'll be stuck playing make believe about who you are for the rest of eternity.'' she winked at him ''I'll make sure of that.''

It may be disturbing for Aeizith, although he had faced his girlfriend once before in this cold and effective state, it really did seem like she was another person entirely. She eventually turned to face Aeizith, giving him a nod and a smile to try and make him a bit more comfortable. She knew he had vowed to tolerate all parts of her personality, but that didn't mean she couldn't help him along.

She, without waiting for a proper answer from the angel turned on her heels, conjuring a bench of black energy - almost as if copying him - and sat down on it, stretching her arms and letting a long echoing yawn before she promptly lied down on it, staring up at the sky, still listening to the conversation at hand but relaxing while she did.

"Thank you..." Aeizith said, his expression brightening up substantially. "Both of you..." Seeing both his sister and his girlfriend both heeding his request, Aeizith let go of Amira, moving to step beside Kaida as he watched the two angels converse. He didn't really know what else to say or do at this point in time... He wanted to hug his little sister, but she was not the kind to allow such behavior, or, at least, receive it. The ice dragon felt somewhat awkward, listening in on something that sounded like an important conversation. Amira requested that her light-weakness be terminated, leaving her with even fewer ways to be conquered. The way she spoke and held her self, the boldness... It was all something he admired, something he wanted to be. Aeizith wanted that courage and confidence everyone else had. He desperately wanted to be able to speak with such vigor and power behind his words... He glanced at Kaida, ironically his other roll model in some ways. She was always Emilia's favorite, as was his, but the difference between him and her is that Kaida actually seemed to like her Eldest sibling. Its not like he could blame her. Emilia was their figurehead and commander. She took the position of their mother for hundreds of years and protected them as boldly as any biological caretaker. Who was Aeizith, the meek, glass-willed 2nd youngest, to compete with someone like that? He had noticed the regret that flashed across Kaida's face earlier, an expression that, coming from her, raised a lot of concern for his sibling. It was very rare indeed to see Kaida EVER regret anything she's ever done, or at least show it openly. She had also done nothing Aeizith could define as "wrong" really, so why did she look like she shot her brother in the foot? Slowly, he placed a shaky hand on her shoulder, looking at Kaida with worry in his Azure eyes.

"Are you okay?" He asked, looking into her eyes for any sign to the contrary. "You can talk to me, sister... I'm always here for you."

She shook her head at the male angel's wink at her. Who did he think he was!? Clearly, he had no idea who he was gesturing towards. She was about to speak up and give him a piece of her mind before biting her tongue. Thankfully, Amira had now begun to speak to him. Rolling her eyes Kaida quickly grew bored of the conversation being carried on between the two angels. Folding her arms across her chest she held her chin high and proud, only to be shambled by her brothers attempt at closeness. It was first she felt his arm creeping over her shoulder before he spoke.

His question took her by surprise.... Did he really want to know how she was feeling? For a few days now she had been harboring the guilt of what transpired at their last family reunion. Even now the memory of the battle that took place sent a chill down her spine. Ever since that day something seemed almost broken within the young dragon. She herself couldn't quite put the feelings together she was feeling. It was as if some of Eira's words and Electi's actions had struck her at her core.

Perhaps she had been too oblivious to the destruction they caused on the world. Before it was nothing for her to simply take down a village just for the fun of it. But now, even if she tried, a shadow of doubt seemed to linger over her. "I'm fine" she torted as she took a step away from Aeizith allowing his arm to fall off of her shoulders. Without realizing it her face harbored a look of regret once again. Grunting she unfolded her arms and placed them at her sides, her fists balled. Before she would never have allowed anything to falter how she felt, the very thought of her judgment being clouded angered her.

Turning her gaze back to her brother she studied him, it had been a while since the two were alone like this. Well, alone without the family that is... even if the angels were here. He had grown taller than the boy she used to prod at as a child. His face was more edged, his eyes less lonely. Was this what love did to someone? Kaida had never even contemplated what it would be like to share your heart with another. She had always assumed the love she had for her family would be enough for her to live on. But now looking at Aeizith she felt a pang of jealousy in her heart.

Kaida had no idea what it could feel like to have someone love you no matter who you were. A love that had nothing to do with family or strength... the kind of love that was plastered across Aeizith's face before she had interrupted them. Almost as if her thoughts were no longer playing just in her mind Kaida looked at Aeizith confused. "Brother... what does it feel like?" she paused before continuing. "What does it feel like to... to be loved. And no I don't mean by your family, but by someone who doesn't have to. What is it like to be loved by someone who loves you just because they want to?" She felt stupid even asking this silly question. Why was she even concerned about it?

Amira seemed to have no trouble deciding on what it was she wanted in return for helping him. Luckily it was in fact something he could do. Unluckily it wouldn't be exactly what she wanted. Hopefully what he could offer her would still be enough to get the fallen angel to still agree to help him. "Hmm. I can dampen the effects of light magic on you permanently, though I don't have the power to make you completely immune to them. Not as I am now anyway." he began. If he was right, then he could use his magic to place a seal of sorts on Amira now and if his own seal was broken and he really was an archangel then he could certainly give her full immunity to light magic.

"However, if I truly am an archangel as you said, then I'm certain once this seal has been lifted I can make you permanently immune. Is that acceptable?" he asked. If she agreed then he would simply hop off his cloudy resting place and walk over to the other angel. "This will take a couple minutes once I begin. Are you ready?"

Amira contemplated his counter offer for a few moments. She didn't like the thought of it all that much, what stopped him from backstabbing her? she honestly didn't think he would, but it wasn't like her to take risks when they can be avoided. She smirked devilishly as an idea came to mind.

''Deal.'' she simply stated and immediately began working her magic. Cracks of black magic coursed through her hands before aiming them at the other angel, the magic tearing through his body and ripping at the seal. However, her other hand also joined in, black chains sprouting forth that would enter the angel's body. As one seal was removed another, one controlled by Amira was copied in its stead.

Once the seal was replaced the angel would barely notice the new one and all his memories would be revealed, however, Amira could easily seal him as again as her own seal was a copy of his old one, mimicking its use but not its weakness. ''Now pay up.'' she stated pointedly, tapping her foot.

The ice dragon felt just a little hurt when Kaida pulled away, showing her cold exterior to her brother as he tried to reach out. Honestly, what was he really expecting? That she'd be completely open to him because he asked for it? That would be a foolish dream... People don't change their ways when you want them too... However, he saw that same flash of regret pass along Kaida's face as she tugged herself free, making Aeizith's concern for her only intensify further, though he said nothing. For a while, they simply stood side-by-side, the little ice dragon watching his girlfriend make a deal with the other angel, his eyes subtly tracing the curves of her form with silent allure. Although he mainly loved Amira for the person she was, he couldn't deny how absolutely gorgeous her form was... With how absolutely ravishing she appeared, Aeizith often felt unworthy of holding her, of kissing her, or even being near her. He felt so common... a stone beside a jewel and she loved him anyway... He smiled softly to himself for a moment, the grin blasting into shock as Kaida popped her question.

"W-what...?" He asked, clearly surprised. He obviously never expected to be asked this question and from his younger sister no less, the one that wouldn't accept a hand on her shoulder but was now asking for some pretty intimate information. Instead of freezing up, turning into a blubbering, stuttering mess, he took one look at Amira and smiled before returning his gaze to his sweet younger sister. He always knew she had some love under that cold exterior of hers... If he dared, he might have felt accomplished in some way.

"Its the best feeling in the world..." He said with a soft grin. "To hold someone in your arms and know that they love you for who you are... To be with someone who wants you beside them... to trust someone so completely you'd put their life before yours... Its just the best thing in the world..." Aeizith's eyes returned to his angelic girlfriend as she began casting some magic on the other divine being. "You know, Kaida... I don't love you simply because we're siblings..." He said in a soothing near-whisper. "We grew up together, got to know each other a bit and... well... I like to consider you a friend as well as my sibling... You're a great dragon and I love you because of that... Not because I'm obligated, understand?"

Standing with her arms crossed Kaida listened as her brother spoke. It was almost hard for her to take in his words and the feelings he described. Nodding in acknowledgment she watched the two angels and the task they were attempting to complete. She couldn't help it... her nature made her yearn to learn as much as possible about all beings. Her attention was quickly pulled away by her brothers latest statement.

Turning her gaze towards him the regret and confusion she had been attempting to hide for days was apparent on her face now. No longer was it a tiny glimpse of her deep regret, but something easily readable. "I don't understand..." slowly she let her arms drop to her sides. "How can you love me as a friend as well? I have been the worst little sister anyone could ask for." she paused recounting all the times she had taken advantage of her brothers gentle demeanor. "I have teased you, I have purposefully done things just to bother you..." tears began to well in the corners of her eyes.

She felt so foolish letting herself get like this in front of anyone. Usually she reserved her most personal thoughts for her sister Emelia, the only sibling she felt ever truly loved and understood her. She always assumed that her brother whom was closest to her in age was afraid of her. She always felt like she was nothing more than a monster to him. "I just don't understand." her face twisted into that of a sobbing child. Raising her fists towards her eyes she wiped away the tears that began to form with the backs of her balled hands.

Out of instinct she stepped towards her brother and wrapped her arms around him, just as she would to Emelia if she were upset. As if the flood gates had been opened she let everything out... everything that had been bothering her. "What if I was always wrong? What if humans are more than just play things? This would mean that Eira was right and I have just been horrible to her. It's no wonder why she hates me... or why Electi hates me. I am always just so mean to him. He must think of me as nothing more than a whiny child. But I'm not... I do care about all of you. Even if sometimes I think you all hate me I still love all of you. Thats... thats why I saved you Aeizith." she paused to wipe her eyes once more. "That's why I used everything I had left in me to pull you from that fire weeks ago. Because I couldn't even imagine a world where any of you were gone."

"But I failed... you still got hurt so badly, and afterwards I treated you like a nuisance. I acted as if you being hurt was your own fault. Even if you went about it all the wrong way I know you were just trying to protect us all." It was then that she retracted her arms from around him, pulling them back to being crossed on her chest. "But you tried to hurt Em... and... Electi tried to hurt Em..." her eyes narrowed as she took a few steps backwards. "I can't ever let anyone hurt Emelia." Taking in a deep breath she locked eyes with her brother. She was so confused, and hurt yet hopeful. A whirlwind of emotions were flooding her every thought and she could not stand it. She wanted to be calm, cool, and calculated... Just like Emelia. Her sister would never have allowed herself to cry in front of Aeizith, or strangers like this.

Aeizith's expression fell as Kaida's normally composed nature collapsed in short order. Her deep regret resurfaced slowly, but then, it very quickly snowballed as she burst into tears and wrapped herself arms around the ice dragon's torso and began to bawl like something Aeizith had never seen. He was shocked to see his little sister break down like this, someone he admired so much for her iron will and strength of code. To see Kaida become the quivering, sobbing mess she was now... it almost made him break into tears. He didn't however. For once in his miserable life, the little lonely ice-dragon played strong, wrapping his arms around his little sister, holding her and rubbing her back as she let everything out. He murmured the same "I-love-you"s throughout her confessions as she did during their battle with Emilia. The memory sent a jolt through his body, but he quickly recovered and returned to tending to his sister. He kissed her head and listened silently as she confessed her doubts if she had been wrong all along, her worries if Eira was right all along, he fears that everyone hated her and saw her as a whiny little child. Aeizith's eyes widened as she declared this. He had never saw her as such and he greatly doubted Electi or even Eira thought the same... They loved her as much, if not more that Aeizith did, he was sure! He tightened his hug around his sister, still muttering "I love you" after every fear she confessed.

He then paused, however, as she revealed that it was she who had saved him from Emilia's fire ball all that time ago... She had saved... him...? It wasn't like he was ungrateful or anything. In fact, if things have turned out differently, he would set about throwing a little party for her in thanks, but... he just didn't expect it to be her... She.... she never seemed to care that much about him, always blowing him off when he wanted to spend time, or insulting him when he wanted to talk. It seemed that her tears reached their climax when she explained that the reason she did this, used everything she had, was because she couldn't imagine a world without him. That's when tears started to fall from his own eyes. No one, not even Amira had said anything like that to him before and with it coming from Kaida, it was even more significant.

"Kaida..." He whispered. "That's why I love you... You didn't fail anything... I'm alive, see...? I'm here and I care about you... I will never hate you, dear sister, because I know that you care about me. Don't doubt that..." And with that, he pulled away enough just to see her face and he smiled in some vain attempt to have it spread to her as well. However, it was then that she retracted her arms and began talking of that horrid day, speaking of how she couldn't have let him hurt Emilia. The sound of her name made Aeizith's mind cloud up. The same shot of her turning her back on him playing through his mind. His smile dropped into a somewhat thin-line. The gaze he gave her was somewhat clouded as that image played through his head over and over, her back turned on him over and OVER. A minute passed before the ice dragon eventually responded, nearly forgetting what she had said as he locked eyes with her.

"I know, dear sister. I know..." But he didn't say he was sorry.

As she stood back she studied her brothers actions. She could see him getting lost in thought just as she often did. What was he thinking about? Replaying her own confessions to him she realized his demeanor changed after mentioning their dear sister Emelia. She brought one of her hands to her other arm gripping near her elbow. How could his opinion of her have changed? She always thought him to be the brother that loved them all, even with her own insecurities towards him she always knew he at least cared a small amount.

Her eyes narrowed once again as she spoke to him. "Could you...." she pause trying to think the best way to word her question. "I mean would you ever intentionally hurt Emelia?" taking in a deep breath she closed her eyes not opening them as she continued. Her voice was now more accusatory. "Would you ever hurt her if you could? If you had the chance to end her would you?" she kept her eyes closed as she turned her head away from him. She was pretty sure she already knew the answer but needed to hear it from him. Allowing a brief pause she continued on, not really even giving him a chance to respond.

"... Because if you felt like you would Aeizith. I would have to turn my back on you to." the words hurt as she said them. As if her own words stabbed at her with each syllable. She always knew that if she had to chose she would choose Emelia. She couldn't let just one conversation with any of her siblings change how she felt. For years Emelia was the only one to truly try and understand her and those actions never went un-noticed. The entire time she still kept her gaze away from him, her lids still closed with her head turned. It hurt too much to look at him, she felt that if she even turned in his direction it would cause her heart to break.

"Please answer carefully brother, because if you tell me you would hurt her I would have no choice but to take you down right here. I don't know if I am weaker than you but I would at least give Emelia the honor of knowing I died for her name." Opening her eyes she turned towards the angels that she had almost forgot were even there. "Even if Amira is here, I would still use every bit of my energy to take you down." she knew she was no match for the angel. However, Kaida would rather be known for trying to defend her sisters honor than run like a coward.

Her eyes slowly traveled back to her brother as she looked at him, but beyond his gaze. She would not lock eyes with him, she couldn't. "So please tell me Aeizith. Please tell me that you would never try to hurt Emelia." her words were now dribbled with sadness. It was as if she were pleading with him to just lie to her. "Tell me that our family bond means more than some disagreement!" tears had already begun to well in her eyes again. "Just say it Aeizith! Say you love Emelia and that you would never hurt her or let someone else hurt her!" she needed him to lie to her. She needed for him to back down and just tell her what she wanted to hear. She needed him to be the coward... just one more time.

Aeizith quite litterally didn't know what to say when Kaida started asking her questions, asking him if he would ever intentionally hurt their elder sibling, if he could end her, would he? The little, lonely ice dragon was asking himself these questions before they were put into words and with every desperate question, he received a painfully clear answer. Even as she threatened to turn her back on him too, Aeizith could tell she was desperate for the answer he could never give. The grief and pain was painted clearly on her face, a completely surreal emotion to see on someone such as her. He tried to force himself to exclaim No! Of course not! I love her just like how I love you! We're a family after all! He wanted to hold her close and claim that he would always be by her side, that he would never leave them ever! But his lips would not move. The muse would not come. He simply stared down at his sister with the most chillingly unreadable expression on his face. Oh how he loved Kaida, but she was so blindly loyal... He wanted to be that too... he always looked up to her... But, just this once, he just couldn't play the coward. Emilia had broken whatever trust she had between them and he simply couldn't stand with her anymore, even if Kaida, through tears and chattering teeth, threatened to cut him down where he stood. His favorite sibling, practically shattered by her sorrow, demanded him to lie, to tell her that their family bond meant everything to him and that he would never be so selfish as to break it over a "disagreement." Disagreement...? Family bond...? Even as Aeizith's old heart crumbled to dust with the pain all this, he could not say so. Didn't she hear Emilia? They had no family bond and if she thought that almost being killed over something so stupid as letting their FLESH AND BLOOD back home, then she was (gods forgive him) an idiot. Aeizith took one step back, then another, and then another until he was out of arm's reach.

"I won't hurt you." He muttered, his voice as cool and smooth as the icy blades he kills with. "Emilia shattered my trust in her.. She tried to kill me, she tried to kill you and this wasn't some training exercise, Kaida. She tried to KILL us. Actually. Tried. She would have ripped you to bloody shreds with the rest of us tied to a pillar to watch, sister." He could feel the strain in his throat, the inner resistance within him building, but he could not stop. He would not stop. "I love you Kaida... I love you more than life itself... but you're stupid and blind... If you would kill me for someone who'd kill all of us without a second thought..." Aeizith paused, tears running down his face. "I hate her..." he whispered, just loud enough for Kaida to hear. "I hate her for what she tried to do to us... I hate her because she shunned me for defending myself... I can't love her... not now..." He was actively sobbing now, tears freezing to icy shards as they touched his cheeks before falling to the ground. "But I love you.... Don't make me hurt you.... I don't want to..."

Her questions were only answered by her worst fears. The brother that she was talking to only moments ago had changed before her very eyes, or at least she was just now noticing it. Her body was frozen as he spoke, his words like daggers to her fragile heart. She wanted to argue with him and his points, to get him to understand from her perspective, but she knew it would just be futile. She was trying so hard to understand him until he called her stupid and blind. Those words alone sent her back to where it all began. Back to that girl that didn't care who she hurt or the effect her actions had.

"I always knew you all thought I was 'stupid and blind'." her demeanor had completely changed by now. She was cold, cynical and her words dripped with the shame she was now directing towards Aeizith. "You say that you have always loved me..." she paused without her demeanor faltering. "But now I know it was all just an act. You have all always resented me for standing by sisters side. All of you have seen me as nothing more than a pest. Please excuse my actions previously, I was a fool to cry and speak to you the way I did. I should have never thought that you could be as understanding as sister."

It was at this moment that a cloned image of Kaida appeared. Without words it took off into the woods at a sprint before re-appearing above the treeline in dragon form. "Sister will be very disappointed to learn of the actions that have transpired today. I will surely have my clone tell her about Amira as well." crossing her arms she sighed "Although she will most likely not care about your futile attempt at love I am sure she would like to know nonetheless."

He did this to her, he hardened her heart further. She had said it before, that she would never let someone hurt Emelia if she could help it. She warned him, she pleaded with him... and now he must pay the price. Today would end one of two ways, she would either beat the sense into him, or he would get to live with the price of killing his sister. She was ready to die if need be, ready to defend her sister once more. If Amira did decide to step in so be it, she would not give up. Either way if the angel killed her instead of Aeizith it would still be his fault and his doing.

"So brother... lets... play... a... game...." her voice was soft yet sharp, quiet yet loud. Every syllable doused with a ringing effect, and it was directed at her brother. Even now he would most likely be able to feel the ringing in his ears... and she had barely even started.

"An act...." Aeizith repeated, wiping away the tears running down his face with his sleeve. "You think I hate you.... because of Emilia...?" He couldn't believe it... All he wanted was for her to understand... to tell her the truth and let her know everything that was going on inside but she had taken it completely the wrong way. She believed that he had always held a resentment against her, that every little ounce of love he had showed her was all a big fake... and that made him angry. How dare she think that about him? HIM who's shown nothing but kindness to her and to have it all be cast back in his face all those centuries. He had been patient, there for her, even while she grinded him under her heel and turned her nose up at his efforts. Then, when he finally got to feel her love for the very first time, to hold her in his arms and care for her like he had always wanted to do, she snatched it all away in a fit of misunderstanding, not unlike that between him and Emilia. Instantly, the ground froze around them and as his fists clenched tightly, a nebula of white mist curled around his knuckles vengefully.

"How.... DARE you...." Aeizith hissed, a ploom of biting frost expelling from his lips as he stared down his younger sister. "After everything we've been through together... after I held you in my arms and listened... After you saved me from the Emilia... HOW DARE YOU THINK THAT!?" He couldn't have cared less about her little clone. Emilia's knowing of he and Amira all seemed completely pointless now. Kaida could have sent her clone to tell Emilia Aeizith had become a unicorn for all he cared. Right now, at this moment, the real Kaida was the only thing he could focus on. Despite his freezing the ground, he made no move to attack. instead, he stood there in his spot, breathing heavily as he recovered from his yell. "Emilia is using you, sister." He snarled, sounding far more sinister and edged than he ever thought himself capable. "If you think my love is just an act... LOOK AT HER. She cast me out! Left me out here to die! Familial bonds, you say? She cut them like twine." Kaida would clearly be able to read the pain and sorrow in his eyes, even through whatever haze clouded her thoughts. "I won't hurt you... I can't... You're my baby sister..." His fists unclenched as he raised them, holding them together just in front of him, palms turned upwards as if begging. Ice and snow began to swirl within his palms, very quickly taking the shape of the little girl in front of him, though instead of the cold, angry expression on her face, the sculpture of her was smiling, grinning, appearing to enjoy herself in whatever world she was a part of. The little Ice dragon looked down at the sculpture and smiled mournfully... what could have been if he had lied... The features of the icy replica resembled the original in every way, right down to the creases on her face and the lines in her hair.

"I've never lied to you, my sweet sister..." Aeizith murmured, the statue fading and reverting back to a pile of soft snow before blowing away in the wind. "I love you and I'll die before I hurt you like Emilia did... Have your fun... Tell Elder sister what you want... I'm all yours..."

Her actions were quickly disrupted by his response. Instead of Kaida being the most angry it seemed as if he had just taken that. Something she said, about him pretending to care only a few moments ago. Her thoughts quickly organized themselves. If he were pretending he would never have responded like this to her accusations. As quickly as she had began preparing an attack she stopped, even the clone that was now miles away burst into ash as she put a stop to her actions.

What really got her was the image of her in the snow he created. If only she could ever look like that, so carefree and happy. Although her mind was already over the anger she had built her face would not show it. Why? Why did these minuscule feelings have to cloud her judgment? Just moments ago she was so angry with him, only to have these feelings falter by his anger. She didn't want him angry with her, she never wanted any of her siblings angry at her.

Her face still carrying a shameful look she began to walk towards her brother eyes deadlocked on him. She stopped only a few inches from him before raising one of her fists. At this moment her face twisted back into its earlier state of sadness and regret. As if beating against a stone wall she went to slam one of her fists into his chest. Should he so allow it she would then begin screaming at him. "Why can't we all just get along!? Why can't we all just go home to the citadel and act as if nothing ever happened!?"

She dropped to her knees in front of him, clearly defeated by his words. "I will never think of her as a monster, but I could never hurt you either brother. I can act as if I would, but in the end..." a sniffle escaped from her before continuing. "... in the end I would rather die than hurt any of you."

The lonely Ice dragon was caught by surprise as Kaida slammed her clenched fists into his chest, not hard enough to cause any real damage, but enough to express her frustration She screamed and howled, asking why they all just couldn't get along, why they couldn't just forget about everything and get on with their lives like nothing ever happened. Aeizith's gaze softened substantially when he heard her pleas, wrapping his arms around her in a hug again, her previous insults and accusations already forgotten. Even as she sunk down to the ground, the older sibling went with her, on his knees, holding her gently as she confessed her real feelings. Even though she acted like she was ready to kill him, ready to prove herself to Emilia, she'd rather die than hurt him, to hurt any of them. What a mess they were together, two poor souls on the opposite sides of life, one dedicated to the family so much that their loyalty is blind and one loyal to the family so much their rebellion is blind. Aeizith hugged his little sister close for all it was worth, never wanting to let go again. He didn't say a word for a long while, only sitting there on the ice with Kaida, hugging her to his chest in some attempt to calm her down. After a minute or two, he finally spoke, his voice shaky, but certain.

"I'm sorry..." He muttered, looking into her eyes. "I didn't mean what I said, calling you blind and stupid.... I was just.... I'm so sorry...." He knew Kaida could never see Emilia as he did, the tyrant that almost killed them all. Aeizith acknowledged the fact that his younger sibling looked up to Emilia far me than he, seeing her as not only a role-model, but a parent and sibling. He felt so horrible about the things he'd said, almost wishing he could take them all back... almost... On some level, it felt right to voice himself like this, to make it clear that was NOT okay. It may have felt good and yet... looking back on it made him feel so wrong...

"I can't go back home and pretend like it never happened because it'd be a lie, dear sister..." He sighed shakily. "I wish I could... I wish I could go home with you... but I can't...." He pressed his forehead to hers gently, his icy flesh warm to the touch for once in his miserable life. "I'll always love you Kaida... No matter what happens... I'll always love you..."

As the two had their loving conversation, beady eyes stared at them from a distance. A void creature, without a doubt one of Emilia's servants. It seemed that even Kaida was not trusted anymore and rightfully so, she had decided not to give this information to her elder sister, despite that being one of her duties. And now she knew anyway...

The creature quickly rushed off, caring little whether it was spotted or not.

Seconds later a void portal opened, heavy metal boots slammed into the ground and Emilia stepped out of the portal, holding a scroll in her palm. Behind her, several bloodsworn stepped out as well, clad in heavy armor fielding the draconian symbol of Emilia on their chest. She narrowed her eyes, staring at Amira then at Kaida and Aeizith. ''You disappoint me Kaida.'' she simply stated as she stepped closer, undeterred by Amira's presence.

She then gazed at Aeizith, if he had been hoping for regret or anything of the sort he would be sorely disappointed, as her eyes rested upon him, they were dismissive and disinterested at best. Her attention then shifted to Amira, a smirk on her face. ''If it isn't the fallen archangel herself, I do wonder what you see in him.''  Amira simply shrugged in response, not willing to indulge then elder sibling.

Emilia quietly rose her palm and the scroll resting within ''Don't interfere.'' she promptly stated, causing Amira to smirk and step away. Emilia then turned her gaze back to Aeizith. ''I don't know what's worse, your misguided sense of morality or your pitiful attempts at coercing Kaida.'' she chuckled, tucking her hands behind her back as her guards stood beside her. ''I am curious though, why are you with the Archangel.. Don't tell me your truly that stupid? to believe that the one known for tricking men into loving her would love you?'' she snickered ''Now that I say it, that does sound like you.''

She didn't seem woefully concerned about Kaida's opinion, or his for that matter. She learned a valuable lesson the last time she and her siblings met. Even they cannot be trusted, she had been to lenient to all of them, this proved that Kaida was to be included in that assessment. Her eyes turned to Kaida, as emotionless as they were to Aeizith. ''Care to tell me why you took the liberty of not informing me?'' she paused staring her little sister down ''I do believe you said and I quote ''You wont have to worry about me taking advantage of your kindness'' or am I mistaken?'' she crossed her arms. ''Seems like that's exactly what you're doing right now.''

She tucked her arms behind her back again as she looked at Kaida, a glimpse of disappointment in her eyes. ''How do I know you haven't been running your tongue about other things.'' the question seemed almost final, as if all hinged on Kaida's answer.

Listening as her brother spoke she attempted yet again to persuade him of his opinions. "If you came home maybe she would forgive you... You know sister shes probably not even mad any more. Please just come home. Don't leave me like Eira did too!" she sat there her forehead pressed to his hoping that somehow her words would reach him. She needed him to go home with her if anything so she would not have to lie to her sister. She still had not decided if she would tell her the truth or not, Emelia would surely see the something had upset her the moment she would return to the citadel.

However, Kaida did not have to wait to make her decision. Freezing at her sisters very voice Kaida was shocked that Emelia was suddenly there. Slowly uncovering from her shock she rose from her knelt position and faced her sister attempting to keep her chin held high. Even with tears dried to her cheeks she tried her best to put on a brave face for her sister.

She listened as Emelia addressed Aeizith first, she knew that she was next. "Sister... I... I was going to tell you. I just wanted to give Aeizith a chance to tell you first." it was only a half lie, of course at some point in her lifetime she would tell Emelia of the events that had transpired today. However, she preferred it to be at a time when everyone was getting along again and as something to look back and laugh at. Emelia then spoke the very same words that Kaida had expressed to her on that dreadful day, the day when everything fell apart. "How is me being here talking to Aeizith a problem? Sister I came here to talk to him and beg him to come home! I am not taking advantage of your kindness, I am simply trying to fix things."

Her attempt at remaining calm and collected was border lining a fail as she pushed back more tears from falling. "I can't believe you would think I would share secrets" she raised a hand to her chest as if offended. "Sister, I am not the one who tried to kill you. I am not the one who said those awful things... I am the one who came home with you! Where did I go wrong? Is it because I am weak?" immediately Kaida was filled with self doubt as she rambled on. "Where my clones not good enough? Was my resolve too weak? Is it because I fell trying to save brother?" she could go on forever about the things she felt were not good enough for her sister but she felt that anymore rambling would simply irritate Emelia.

Quickly she shot a glance at her brother, hoping he would see all he had to in her eyes. She meant what she said, every word of it. She loved her brother so much, and was so happy they were bonding. But, she would always be on Emelia's side. Never would she abandon her, the sister that had raised her from nothing but a hatchling shielding her from their parents mistakes. Of course all of this was crushing her, but she had to stand by her word. "I'm sorry" she mumbled before allowing her gaze to drop to her boots. The statement not really directed at either of them in particular, but fitting for both.

Aeizith held his little sister tight, wondering silently if Emilia had forgiven him, if she even would place any form of trust back into him... Even among the hatred he felt for his elder sibling right now, the little frost dragon still held onto a certain amount of hope. Before he could reply, however, a dark portal opened only a few feet away, jerking to his feet alongside Kaida as Emilia, the last person he wanted to see right now, walked out as brazen as always, flanked by some of her strongest servants. He said not a word as she first, threatened his girlfriend with a scroll he could only assume could seal away divine entities, then proceeded to mock his relationship with her, calling him an idiot for even considering the fact her love was genuine. His eyes never flared nor the frost underneath Emilia's feet turned hostile. No, Aeizith stood there in his spot besides his younger sister, hands tucked into his jacket pockets, as cool and calculated as Emilia was. A sickening thought.

His eyes flicking down to Kaida as she was visibly starting to fall apart. Emilia accused her of treachery as she did the rest of them, the mere idea causing the younger dragon to almost collapse in tears. She rambled  through all the different possibilities that could have lead to such an accusation, from her incompetence to saving her older brother that one twisted day. He wanted so badly to re-embrace Kaida, to comfort her in some way other than simply standing behind, but with Emilia's cold anger hanging over them both, Aeizith's new integrity refused him the luxury of weakness.

The gaze Kaida gave the ice dragon broke his heart, but also gave him a sort of hope. He saw so much love in her eyes... So much love and happiness despite the current situation...How badly did he want to just scoop her up right there into a hug and never let go... but Emilia was there, blocking the way without ever coming between them. Kaida would always remain loyal to Emilia no matter what and that gave him a bit of hope... If anyone deserved to live through this, it was definitely Kaida, he could see that now.... he could also see that he was a selfish fool, unable to stand his own ground let it all be swept out from under him. He bowed his head low as Kaida did now, muttering her apology. He could tell that it was also meant for him, an apology for the fact that Emilia would always come first and that she could never put anyone ahead of her. Aeizith understood this and thats why he was apologizing now.

"As am I..." The frost dragon added, a familiar uncertainty in his voice. "I was wrong, as always and you are right to hate me... as always... I was going to tell you soon... but I couldn't find the courage... Kaida... she told me nothing, Older Sister... only that she wanted me to come home... I understand if you don't want me there anymore... I'm sorry..."

Emilia kept her stern gaze on Kaida for a while longer as she began speaking, she still felt she was in the right, that she was right to distrust at this point. But doubt began filling her mind slowly, was this truly the way to go about this? by tightening the leash into a choke hold? even on her most precious family member? Her gaze quickly softened as Kaida started her almost panicked frenzy of self doubt. She stepped closer placing her hands on Kaida's shoulders, rubbing them gently. ''I was too quick to judge, I do not think you'd betray me Kaida.'' she simple spoke, keeping her eyes locked on Kaida's. She slowly pulled Kaida into a hug if allowed. Said hug was the only way Emilia knew how to express guilt, something her little sister probably knew all too well. ''You know I love you more then anything in this world..'' she almost whispered the words, as it was difficult for her to talk about her feelings for another.

When she stood back up she eyed Aeizith for a moment, Kaida's words echoing in her mind. She figured it was up to her to fix things, although she didn't have the impression she did anything wrong. She didn't hate him, she really wanted to. But he was still that small and overly kind dragon she remember and loved, if she were to be completely honest with herself. But at she time, he did leave on his own, which made the sense of betrayal that much worse.

She didn't quite know whom Aeizith's comment about hating him was directed at, so she decided to simply not respond to it. She however did feel compelled to the latter ''You left on your own, nobody said you had too.'' she paused, thinking carefully about what to say next ''We all made mistakes that day and as such I try not to hold anyone to it.'' she spoke pointedly ''You're free to come home, but you will obey my rules, the citadel is mine, not yours.'' she looked at the both of them. ''I require your compliance, not your understanding.''

Kaida felt a wave of relief flood her as Emelia spoke. She took in a deep breath as her sister embraced her, returning the action by wrapping her arms around Emelia. Her embrace became even tighter as Emelia whispered to her. "I love you to Emelia" she whispered back before leaning her head against Emelia's shoulders. This is why she loved her sister, because throughout it all if she truly knew Kaida was upset she would calm her down.

Taking a few steps away as her sister addressed Aeizith, Kaida looked over the Blood Sworn Emelia had brought with her. She couldn't help it, like a moth drawn to a flame she needed to mess them. It had always bothered her how the Blood Sworn were so serious. Unlike her own death guard who had almost no uniformity the Blood Sworn were very... stiff. Taking a few more steps back attempting to be out of her sisters line of site Kaida now was looking dead center at the soldiers.

The evil grin was first to surface as Kaida theatrically created a clone of one of the Blood Sworn. She motioned for the other soldiers to watch with her hands. All of her actions were now silent as she attempted to remain unheard and unnoticed by her sister. Raising her eyebrows Kaida then grabbed her clone of a Blood Sworn by the arm, the very action causing it to turn to ash and dissapear. Acting as if it were an accident she innocently lifted a hand to cover her mouth in an 'oh my' sort of way.

Kaida looked at her siblings quickly before continuing with her game. She motioned for her now armless Blood Sworn clone to kneel down so that she may whisper to it. Complying the clone lowered for her to whisper only for its head to explode into ash and ember a few short moments into her 'secret'. The young dragoness once again acted in theatrical way of being shocked before crossing her arms in front of herself and raising a brow to the Blood Sworn.

Slowly she walked towards them her hands now behind her back as she mockingly eyed the group. Stopping mere inches from one of them at the edge of their formation. She stood there for a few minutes mimicking his stance before turning quickly and reaching for his arm. It was no surprise the Blood Sworn soldier had flinched, and it took every ounce of her resolve not to laugh. She began to walk away and turned to wink at the group before stepping up beside her siblings.

No day was complete without causing at least one being to fear their life would end in an instant at her hands....

Instead of trying to emphasize his view on his older sibling, to try and get her to understand how he must have saw it, he realized that committing to such an act would cause nothing more than strife for them all (to say the least.) Instead, he nodded, showing obvious respect to Emilia.

"As you say. I am sorry I broke your trust me..." He stated before watching his younger sister go about playing with Emilia's solders. He really wondered what she was expecting when she stepped out of that portal. It was as if he went up to Kaida with his Assasains flanking him along with several ice-clones. T'would look like  he was going to wage war with her right then and there. But then, Emilia was never the type of person to put much stock in the best-case scenario. He supposed that's why she called it "treachery" and not what it really was: a misunderstanding. He could see how happy Kaida was now, even if she put up her sarcastic guard up somewhat again. He could practically feel the warmth and mischievous nature radiating off her being. Even as she played her macabre humor on Emilia's knights, it was in good taste for once. Meanwhile, the Ice-dragon, although his eyes watched her movement's his mind was somewhere else. He contemplated what he'd do from here and how long until tensions rose again.

And anyway, it had been so long since Aeizith had even HEARD from his dear older brother. He wondered where Electi could have gone.... His first thought was Emilia... but due to her "forgiveness", Aeizith gave her the benefit of the doubt. He stared at the ground, his mind trying to come up with any number of reasons they haven't heard from their brother. He could be out looking for a place to build an outpost...? Perhaps building a dragon's hoard of his own...? Maybe he just didn't want to be found... He glanced back up as Kaida came to stand beside them again, smiling as if she had told the best joke ever. Aeizith appeared more troubled than humored, as evidenced by the look on his face.

"If I may ask..." the frost dragon turned to his elder sister. "H-have you heard from Electi...?"

Emilia, despite Kaida's best attempts did in fact see what she was doing from the corner of her eyes. However, she seemed more amused by it then angry and if she were really honest, she'd say that she was happy to see that Kaida was back to her normal self. She then turned her gaze to Aeizith, whom seemed to be rather short off with his response, which she figured was because he was still angry with her.

That didn't matter, the only person she was negotiating for was Kaida and if he wanted to make that difficult then so be it, it would only hurt him in the end. She pondered what it was that she could say, if he wanted a sorry he'd still be sorely disappointing, She didn't feel sorry, not in the slightest. As such she didn't feel particularly inclined to respond to his request about his eldest brother. He had been forgiven and returned to the Citadel, but Aeizith didn't have to know that. She wanted to lie about it just to spite him, but she figured the truth would hurt more.

''He is still at the citadel'' she simply stated, a modicum of hostility returning to her person, tucking her hands behind her back. She quietly looked at Aeizith and then at Amira, who seemed to catch her interest now. To an extend, she was simply worried for Aeizith, but that she wouldn't admit either. She didn't trust the angel in the slightest and seemed much more aware of her reputation then her younger sibling was. In the end, it was his choice and his burial, he wanted to be with her? so be it, she wasn't going to protect him any longer.

Having trouble even finding words to say to Aeizith that wouldn't come out spiteful she simply turned to the person she could and would enjoy talking to - Kaida. ''What is it that you wanted to achieve anyway?'' she asked pointedly, she could've gone into the gritty details about how she thought this was foolhardy, but she could hardly deny Kaida anything, even this. ''It is unlike you to make rash decisions like this.''

Kaida was thrown back by her sisters question, yet she complied with an answer. "I don't want us to be apart. I am proud to say that I am a Black-Hearth. I want others to see us as siblings who stand together. I want every insignificant being to know that we are strong and unbreakable." Her face was proud as she spoke. It was no lie that Kaida held her family above all else. Her dream was that one day anyone that would hear their family name would tremble in fear at the mere thought.

"We cannot portray such a picture with a broken family. Sooner or later some will pick up on that..." the young dragon paused to turn her attention to Aeizith's new wench. "And they will try to rip us apart." she spoke the words with as much cold emotion she could muster, her eyes locked on the angel. Crossing her arms in front of herself she stepped closer to Emelia so that only she could hear her next statement. "And I want you to be happy, and having all of us together will make you happy".

Aeizith sighed in relief hearing his brother was safe... He must have been off doing something for Emilia, some long term mission or something that made him not have much time for them. He felt dumb worrying over someone was powerful as Electi... He might as well have worried about the life of an immortal god for how ludicrous it was. Still... Aeizith felt immensely displaced and tired after everything that was happening and was still happening. He followed Emilia's gaze back over to Amira, smiling warmly at her while Kaida glared coldly. Even after all the bonding the dragons had gone through together, the little ice-drake couldn't abide by the accusations and glares being thrown at his girlfriend. He gave his little sister one of his own, a look that wasn't quite menacing, but one that expressed his distaste, one that requested she kept her mouth shut. Though her speech may have been uplifting to everyone else (even Emilia), none of this was about being an "unbreakable family" or strength or proving dominance. That wasn't what any of this was about. He never had the dragon's pride that these words could play off of like keys on a piano. No, it wasn't about any of that... not to him... And Kaida surely knew this, even if Emilia couldn't see it, leaving him to think that this speech was more for her than him. He took a deep breath and sighed once she was done whispering whatever it was to Emilia, a cold frosty wave escaping his mouth. He glanced over at his girlfriend once more before turning his eyes on his Elder sister.

"Emilia.... You deserve a better servant than me..." He said, a matter-of-factly. "You never got what you wanted... Not the brother you needed... not the strength... and recently, not even the obedience or loyalty... You were right to think I was dumb because I probably am... running from a problem rather than facing it like the dragon I am... I didn't even have the guts to tell you I had a mate and... to be perfectly honest... I probably might have never told you myself." His face was as straight and unreadable, often characteristics not associated with him. No ice grew from his body, nor was he freezing to the touch. He was eerily in control and if he were watching himself... he might have been afraid...

"I wouldn't be surprised if you thought I wasn't worth the blood in my veins or the last name I was given and neither would I blame you for it... I've earned your scorn and my own disgrace... And I'm sorry I've disgraced you..." He his eyes fell on Kaida next, those chilling, blank blue eyes of his. Not a hint of strong emotions rested behind those orbs, just hints of what was. "The same goes for you, Kaida... Its okay if you don't know it yet, but I've disgraced this family, I see that now..." He turned back to Emilia and only then did he show regret, a least several tons of it, but only behind his eyes. Not a hint made it to his face, his mouth, nor the tone of his voice. ".....I really am sorry."

Emilia seemed relatively surprised by Aeizith's sudden words. She hadn't anticipated that he would be reasonable, she expected to walk into a tantrum about how evil she was and how all the wrongs in his life were her fault. He wouldn't have been entirely wrong, she knew her methods were crude and only as effective as others would let them be, she could never blame him for this. That is why, despite everything that happened now, she felt no more anger and no more resentment for her little brother.

It wasn't because she hated him, it was because she always preferred to hide behind that facade of power, strength and discipline. It helped her retain control and that had fallen apart in their previous encounter and although she would never openly admit it, she felt partially responsible, even if she knew Electi forced her hand.

''You're not my servant, you're my little brother. No matter how stupid you sometimes might be.'' she kept her eyes on Aeizith, no sign of real emotion in her eyes as she finally spoke the truth, not that calculated truth, but the truth that came from the heart she did have beating in her chest, despite all odds. ''Your mate is not relevant, whom you think suits you is for you to decide, not I.'' she paused, nudging her head to look at Amira for a split second before turning back to Aeizith ''It does not matter whether you are worthy of the blood in your veins or not, one way or another it is Black-Hearth blood, always is and always will be, just as Eira will always be my sister you will always be my brother.''

She sighed, feeling her self slip into that uncomfortable soft nature she hid deep within the bowels of her very being. It wasn't pleasant to her, it meant letting go, letting control slip for even a minor second was terrifying to the control freak that was Emilia, but for her family she did it, for once in her life. ''You could never disgrace me, you're my little brother. I have not been the perfect elder sibling either.'' she let a modicum of regret surface on her face now, showing that indeed, behind the cold facade did rest a living being. ''Raising you, Kaida.. heck even the big child Electi had not been how I imagined it. I'm a terrible mother figure, no need to deny it.'' she looked up at the sky, letting those words drift through her own mind for a moment. ''But not once do I regret it, not once do I regret bringing you all here, with me. Believe it or not, I do care.. but violence is all I know.. All I let myself know.'' she let out yet another sigh ''I wish it were different. But I am simply not capable of expressing myself in any other way and the fact that you and the others fought me only furthered that anger.''

Her gaze grew neutral again as she took back control and stopped letting her emotions speak, not because she had a sudden change of mind but because she felt she had said enough, at-least for now. She snickered as  Kaida stepped closer and spoke her words. ''I suppose so.'' she simply stated, for once not letting her immediate defiance speak.
