Smed stopped to look at all the pretty swords, eyes wide with glee. He spread his arms wide, and when the swords came in on him, he did nothing as he was evaporated immediately. However, a malignant presence remained. Suddenly, in the air, a red ball of energy appeared for a few moments, before it exploded forwards, tearing the shingles off of the roof and threatening to blow all of the spirit hunters off of it and dash them against the streets. Floating in the air was Smed, little eyes now fully glowing as he bore himself aloft on a pair of small wings.

"Foolish mortals. I refuse to let this toy die!" Smed yelled. "Now, It's MY turn!" He said, and he clenched one of his fists, then thrust it forwards, palm open. From his hands, blew out a torrent of demonic goblins. With teeth and claws as sharp as diamond, they surged forwards in one coherent flood, thousands of little mouths crying out in happiness and perverse anticipation.

The swords formed a barrier just in time, coating the three figures in glowing rosy light. The demonic goblins could be felt by Seiki, who was fully aware of every single shard, hitting the shield, and threatening to break through. He wasn't letting that happen...

Shinobu appeared beside him, and he could see her hands before her chest. All of a sudden, another temporary barrier encased them, and allowed him to launch the swords forth like a deadly storm. They whirled around, following the moves of his hands, beautiful and dangerous all the same.

More floating swords? It wouldn't work on Smed this time around. Smed erected a shield of his own, which formed a small bubble around him and deflected the blows of the floating swords. At the same time, he gave his small wings a single push, and he rocketed towards the three spirit hunters, moving so fast that he displaced the air in front of him. His fangs and claws were bared as he aimed his faster-than-lightning blitz towards Seiki.

Seiki decided to take a different tactics this time. He stepped before the shield, faster than light that would follow his figure, and flashed behind Smed, reaching after him in the middle of his step in an attempt to grab him by the back and toss him against the ground, what would, with a little luck, confuse him. His other hand controlled the swords even then, and it commanded them to crash against the goblin in the moment he'd catch him.

They could pin him to the ground and allow others to slice him up. Once his physical form would be destroyed, Isako would be free to cleanse the spirit...

He'd let the very flesh on his hands let be ripped apart by Smed's claws if he could only do this.

Smed was screaming towards the shield when Seiki flashed behind him. Despite his frenzied nature, the goblin reacted with uncanny efficiency. As soon as Seiki reached for him, Smed disappeared and reappeared within a fraction of a millisecond, and he reappeared inches behind Seiki, having retained his speed and momentum as he shot forward like a razor bullet aimed at Seiki's legs. The displacement happened so quickly, that the friction of his speed actually ignited a small fire in the air.

That move was too fast even for him to evade completely. He did attempt to move to the side, but he could feel the goblin ripping the side of his left leg. Crimson drops of his blood stained the white haori he wore, and for a moment, he almost felt like falling. Yet, despite being aware of the fact that there were several tendons in his leg torn, he kept moving, seemingly unfazed by it.

The swords moved back towards him, but in the moment they touched the hilt of the katana, still in his hands, they broke into myriads of shards, taking the appearance of shimmering petals. At first, they arose around him like a column, right before pouring over like a deadly sharp and fast wave at Smed.

Then, the roof started shaking. His eyes widened, but that was when he noticed Shinobu with her own katana, sticking out of the middle of the other side of the roof. Her hands were placed firmly on its hilt, while Isako stood a good few feet back. The entire roof was starting to crack, and the deep gaps were moving towards Smed.
