The docks were quiet around the northern most docking area where a strangely built ship resembling that of the serpents of the sea. the crew was 150 strong but 25 of the fifty were passengers coming from a nation far away to save an important figure from the uprising of the new king.

A young man dressed in armor stepped off of the gangplank and into the dock followed by two heavily armored knights armed with their nations signature orange blades and dragon-scale like armor. the escorted man was had blonde hair that was short and he wore a lighter variant of the knight's armor. "My liege, the rest of our men will set up camp just outside of the port-city."

"Good... I need a drink, where do you think the nearest Tavern is?"

" There should be one down the street."

The three walked down the street and got a corner table away from the windows at the tavern and got drinks, the two knights kept a eye out for something trying to keep their future king safe.

The ports have always been beyond fascinating to Ichiro. So many people around, all those faces and voices, so easy to slip through the crowd unnoticed... They were dirty and they stunk, far from the comfort of his personal residence, but they were far more interesting than the plain white halls of the large house.

He made his way through the docks, all the peasants quickly moving out of the way of the tall man, garbed in white, till he sighted a rather unusual boat. It resembled one of those legendary sea serpents... How unusual, he thought, and decided to follow the three men that got off it into the tavern. He didn't let them see him, and all together went about it rather cautiously, but his eyes, hidden beyond the veil of white hair, were watching every step they took.

Surely interesting, he thought to himself as he sat down a fair distance from them, ordering a light drink. But only to hide his purpose - he couldn't get drunk in public, after all.

One of the knights watched the man walk in and turned his attention to the map that the Prince was looking over. "We'll start recruiting at these smaller towns but we also need to keep neutral to the rulers here." The Prince said as he marked small towns and villages that might have men looking for work or a life in war. "But we also need to stay in the shadows until we're ready to attack."

Something moved around the prince's neck and popped it's head out of the fur around his neck, a small dragon of unknown species looking straight at the man who followed them.

So many interesting foreigners inhabited this tavern on an hourly basis, and they truly stuck out like a sore thumb. A blonde-haired boy walked in, covered in a reptilian-like suit, flanked by two hulking... guards? Their reptilian hide armor was bulkier and their eyes darted about as if daring someone to approach their boy. Perhaps man would better befit this blonde-boy, as he looked self-assured and practiced in his firm steps, despite his height which was quite Thanati-average. Interesting. But it was the blinking eyes that appeared around his neck which caught Seuwynsra's - and her snake tattoo's - attention.

Seuwynsra's eyes followed the little dragon's gaze to a white-haired man dressed in white. A little shiver went down the girl's back as she looked upon that colorless fabric, but it matched his pale skin and boney shape. She thought she was looking at a skeleton - could that man possibly be Thanati? He was built with muscle, but it looked like any extra padding or skin had been eaten by that muscle, leaving just enough bulk to manage everyday tasks and a little fighting besides.

Placing the block of wood she had been carving into the pocket of her linen skirt, Seuwynsra fetched the muck bucket and began clearing tables again. Luckily, the owners of this tavern weren't too picky about infertile virgins and paid her a decent wage to clean tables and serve a couple nights a week. The Thanati girl held up her head and turned to the reptile-men, her plum-colored eyes allowing no secrets to be revealed and her dark blonde hair pulled into a long braid down her right shoulder. As she approached, she had to turn her wide hips sideways to squeeze between tables of drunk tradesmen and sailors, but no one leered at her odd curves and flat chest. Not that her simple brown skirt and blue cotton blouse would hug her thin waist anyways. "Anything else I can get you?" she asked quietly but without appearing meek or naive.

Such a Thanati, always keeping her quiet pride. Never letting her inner demons show.
