The evening sun was high in the air, it must be atleast 1:00 pm. The clangor of people's shoes filled the air. The chattering of many voices and animals alike could also be heard. It was sure noisy today...bustling with activity. Mainly, of people buying things. There were stands set up for as far a the eye could see...a boat load of shops within a sea of people. There was one stand that wasn't getting such attention, as any of the other ones; quite empty really. A few people had stopped and in that same instant moved quickly away.

At a closer look, after you've escaped the crowd you'd come to a stand that was selling one thing. Behind the counter a large man stood; large in the belly that is. If you stayed long enough he'd began to show you the creature for sale. On the counter sat a huge cage. Almost big enough to fit a five year old child within it. Inside was a massive thing of black feathers, that nearly filled the whole cage. It's front side hidden under smooth black wings.

The man behind the stand would grabb hold of an iron rod and probe the creature. "Aye you turn about...flithy animal." He said before seting the iron rod back at his side. The creature soon responded with a loud crow like call. "Caw!" It cried and then slowly turned to face whoever was standing there; if anybody. A huge black head could be seen, with almost evil beady eyes. One all black, and the other red. Everything was of black coloration; expect for that one red eye.

It would simply stare, and after a minute or two groom it's ebony feathers and then return to staring.

Keir couldn't imagine why she was in Ketra -it was busy and crowded with people. They crowd was flowing in an awkward way, creating a bubble around one of the stands. Just to escape the claws of the crowd she slid into that bubble, leaning against the coutner and wiping her brow, her face slightly panic stricken. She truly couldn't stand so many people. She glanced upwards - her eight ravens circling overhead like a bad omen, their red eyes glinting as they watched her, perching on various nearby buildings and stands.

Then when the man began explaining something to her she looked puzzled and blinked, halfheartedly glancing at the cage. A.. a bird? She turned fully to examine the feathered creature, her eyes englarging. It could almost be a larger twin to one of her ravens. If only both eyes were red, not just one. But she was immediately sympathetic towards the bird. She had been ready to turn away, although glancing at it occasionally. Really, should such a beautiful creature be kept in such confines?

One of the red eyed ravens cawed to her, and urged her to buy the bird.

Hell, with WHAT though? She glanced at the man warily, crossing her arms over her chest stubbornly. He was quite large... Well, she had her ravens. They'd... protect her. Hopefully. Or laugh at her.

"Hey. How much?" She said, not taking any time to gather her sharp tongue.

She didn't care if she was rude or brash. Hell, he had the bird IN A CAGE.

Anonymous

The black feathered creature had tilted it's large head, looking at the female who seemed to have stumbled in out of the crowd. Immediantly he took a liking to her, like he was supposed to be with her or something. His eyes changed from an evil expression to a more pleading one. 'Please get me out of here' It seemed to say. It's large wings stretched out, sliding outside of the barred cage. The creature was obvisiously cramped in the cage, even though the cage was so huge.

The man startled a bit and looked round the cage to the person who was speaking. "You want it really?" He said in an excited voice. "Um...hows about ten dollars, but if that's to much I can go lower." He said. Any price would really suit him, since no one else seemed to be interested in buying the black bird.

"Caw." The creature spoke again. It's eyes turned toward the heavens. It seemed to be calling something...maybe her ravens. In the distance a black cloud seemed to be rolling toward the town. It stopped where the females ravens were circling about...it wasn't a cloud afterall..it was a small flock of crows. Much smaller then her ravens were. They scattered about; landing where her ravens were. Then chatter began from above by the crows. They seemed to be communicating to her ravens.

Crow 1: "He who is caged, has been sent by us..to further protect your Mistress."
Crow 2: "Is is created by the Crow...the spirit of the raven...the feather of raven...the eyes of crow and raven..."
Crow 3: "Your Mistress shall also be able to control him aswell...but not only when enraged...but anytime...he is her servant.."
Crow 4: "He holds many other secrets...we will met again to explain when the need a raises."
Crow 5: "Just know he is the key to the black birds survival...There is a threat on it's way...keep your eyes sharp."

After the crows had stopped squacking they all flew away.

After the awkward conversation, a raven immediately swooped down, rising short-lived screams from some startled people in the crowd. The smallest of her ravens landed eagerly at her feet, pecking at her boots, tugging at her skirt. She narrowed her eye at the bird and brushed it away quickly. They could be so irritating.

"HEY, watch what you're doing, stooge," she snapped at the bird, whose persistance only grew.

It tilted it's head upwards, locking its red eyes with her's. She staggered once and looked frozen, red-brown eyes dialated and mesmerized by the swirling red ones. The raven communicated with her, telling her of the urgency in which she must acquire this bird at all costs. The bird eyes slide away and she reeled, her head thrown backwards and she stumbled, catching herself on the counter. She panted lightly and gave a sideways glance at the bird.

He was just a bird, right? What would be the difference if she did or not acquire him? She glanced at the raven, but she knew that she couldn't refuse them. She gingerly pulled at her pouch, digging her fingers into it and grabbing a Copper coin. She had, at highest, she had two Bronze coins, and one Silver. She wasn't going to waste anything hire on the bird -she'd steal it if she had too.

"Here.." She offered the Copper coin reluctantly to the main, glancing at the bird.

How was he worth even -this- much? Even the regular ravens that merged with her group of ravens were just random wild ones that followed them. They weren't pets... She didn't buy them. They were free!

Anonymous

The man nodded to the female and took the Copper coin from her hands. He then placed the coin in his pocket; a huge smile on his face now. He came from the other side of the table and grabbed the handle of the cage, lifting it off the table, which took him awhile to do. He wasn't a very strong man...to much fat and not enough muscle. Sweat droplets formed on his forehead as he placed the cage on he ground before her. She'd have to take it from there. He whipped the sweat off and went back round his counter. "Hope it be nice for ye." he said waving her off. After that he seemed to have forgotten, that quickly, about her, and was staring at the many people going from stand to stand.

The thing shifted it's weight within the barred enclosure. It peered at the girl with a questionable glance. 'Now what...I stay in here.' It was thinking...but it's eyes seemed to tranfer it's thoughts straight to the female who had just purchased him. His feathers ruffled slightly and he shook himself; a mountain of loose ones flew from his body..but still no bare spotts appeared. How many feathers were covering it anyway?

The man had turned back around seeing that the ground was now littered with black feathers. "Ay you..you making mess infront of stand." He said.
The bird inside the cage cackled with what you could call laughter. Again it ruffled it's feathers and shook allowing more to litter the ground. It was his way of showing how he disliked the man...He did take him from his home, and then sold him...but prehaps it had worked out afterall. He did get to where he needed to be.

Anonymous

What the hell was up with that man anyway? As soon as he was paid for and the cage was on the ground and after she contemplated on how to get back to her room -which she had just barely covered in exspenses- she rudely stuck her tongue out at the man. She brushed a black feather that was entwined in her hair away from her face, and wrenched open the cage door. She stared at the bird for only a second before stepping back from the opening.

The small, red-eyed companion raven tilted it's head and gave a shrill caw. It communicated that it should follow them to where she was staying. And be quick -stick to the skies with them until they all got to their destination point. Actually, the red-eyed raven was more commanding rather than asking.

Keir immediately merged back into the crowd, winding her way back to where she came from. She heard her ravens -taken flight and following in a cluster of black, their ebony feathers falling from them, the passer-bys startled by such large birds. But Keir didn't care -they were her friends. The only ones she had, the only ones she'd ever want, she was certain of.

Back at the inn, instead of going through the building like a normal person she clambered up the companion building, and scooted through the window. She left it wind open, inviting any of her birds to flit in.

She sighed and took off the triangular scarf from around her waist, tossing it on the floor and flopping on the bed. The room smelled aweful. She had just wasted her money and she needed new clothing. She adjusted the skirt over the other one, along with the bottom skirt. Keir grumbled and fixed her shirt.

"Fucking hell... I can't believe I bought a fucking bird... What the hell?" She asked, glaring at one of the ravens that flew in, landing carefully on the bed post.

Good thing that window was huge. It was possible the raven would fit through. If it even came. Seriously.

He waited silently in the cage. He was watching everything very carefully..and even picked up that the girl had stuck her tongue out at the man. Then the cage was open and in a swift movement he was outside of the prison...he was free. He listened to the red eyed raven's commands and his eyes seemed to gleam with mischief. He had some other ideas..before he would follow.

His wings stretched out; the people stopped and stared in awe, his wings took up a huge amount of space. A few feathers dropped to the ground as he beat his wings and slowly rose into he air. Once he was high enough, everything seemed to go black. He was infront of the sun blocking it from whatever was below him. From there he eyed the people who was looking at him; some had now shrugged it off and was back to there shopping. He spotted one person in particular, who was handing a sales man some money. It was a huge shinning piece of gold. It must have been worth well over a hundred dollars. He wondered what the person was buying that was so expensive. Well it really didn't matter to him all that much.

Then as if somethign had hit him he was diving down toward the shinny golden coin. People shirked, screamed, and ran...but I guess the only person who didn't see him comming was the one he was after. One of his claws were outstreatched and as he grow close enough, he closed his claw around the gold coin...ripping it right from the owner's hands. He gave a delighted cackle and then glided toward where the ravens had headed.

An apartment like building came into his veiw. He watched as the ravens flew through an opened window, and so he followed. He got to the window and just managed to get his body through. Once inside he dropped the golden coin on the ground and then went and laid in a corner. 'The coin is for you' He communicated to the female.

Anonymous

What the hell just... talked to her? She shot up and rolled off the small bed, landing on her hands and knees and scrambled to her feet. She looked at the coin and her eyes went wide. That was... a Gold coin. She could only stare at it. She slid to her knees, reaching over and picking it up, rolling it in her fingers and even rubbing at it -maybe she was seeing things. She truly had never seen so much money in her fourteen years.

"....Oh my God," she continued to stare at it, pulling her boots off and tossing them aside.

She then blinked... The voice? She glanced around herself and then to the bird in the corner. Her eyes narrowed considerably as she scooched away, pulling her legs up to her chest, her fingers curling around the Gold coin.

"Why me? What the hell is going on?" She wasn't used to any other birds rather then her own ravens communication with her.

Even they didn't communicate so clearly with her. Why was he so.. different? She frowned warily at him, beginning to breathe heavily, her face paling. She already felt the signs of panic inside her. She closed her eyes for a moment. She couldn't show such weakness. She bit her lip and narrowed her eyes at the bird.

"What are you? What's going on?" She glanced at her birds that were flocked in the room.

They told her some of the conversation they had with the crows. She banged her fist on the floor angrily.

"That's none of my.. our concern!" She snapped at the birds which cawed and ruffled at her irritabily.

"Anyway, just go away! I freed you, I don't want you here," Keir said aggressively, shifting away.

She wasn't scared persay, but in a sense she was. Keir didn't want him there -he was different then her ravens. She was scared of what the future may lie with his prescence. She didn't want any unneccessary inconveniences in her life! There had alreayd been so much. Her mere exsistence was already a very large inconvenience.

Anonymous

He watched as she picked up the gold coin that he had stolen for her. She seemed pleased with it; until she heard him speak. He wondered what was wrong with his voice. Yes, he was different...but everyone is not the same. Even her ravens were different. Maybe not different in appearance, but each one had a different personality.

His feathers had ruffled up when her fist hit the floor. "Kaw...Caw." He screeched, his wings stretching outward and then folding back to him. Why did she have to make such a fuss about him anyway? He didn't speak to her when she asked him a question. Was it just her imagination afterall? Had he really spoke or was she hearing things?

But she had given a command and he would follow it. He turned to the window and moved over to it. He looked back to the ravens around the room. He told them that he'd be nearby watching...and would return when the girl had settled down. He forced his large body out the window. His wings had spread out and he beat them three times taking to the air. He flew to a nearby tree and landed. His heavy body causing the tree to sway violently as if a great wind had just blown it. After he had settled himself within the branchs the tree calmed. It was obvisious that he was there because his one red eye could always be seen through the green leaves.

Keir beat her fists against the floor mercilessly, until her knuckles and fists were scratched, raw, and bleeding. She pushed herself against the side of the bed and looked at her hands, lower jaw clenched. Had she not tried to stay out of everyone's way since she was young? Hadn't she stayed out of her mother's way? That dirty tramp was all over the place, though... Always in someone elses bed. But even then, she managed to stay out of the villager's way... And most of the time her mother's... But then she had slipped up with that Baron... But she stayed out of his way when she worked for him! She didn't stay out of his fiance's way... But that was unavoidable... Since she left she had stayed out of their way. Everyone's way. How did she end in mess after mess? How?

The largest raven flitted to the window perching on the window sill. It looked at the large bird in the tree boredly before communicating to him that Keir didn't and probably wouldn't calm down. He might as well stay out there for the rest of his life if he believed that Keir would calm down. But as long as he, the raven, had known her, calmness had never been apart of her.

With that, the raven turned and hopped back into the room, perching as high as possible in the room and sleep.

"Impossible.... Seems I can't do anything right," she said caustically, smashing her hands against the floor once more.

They ached and stung. But she didn't care.

The great bird could sense her pain. He would have fled and left for good, had it not been for what he was made to do. He was created by the crows and ravens to protect her. He was not real in the sense that he didn't have any parents or any real purpose in life; expect for being a servant for the young female in the building. His life meant nothing to the world but meant everything to the few birds that were already connected to the girl. He had no real feeling...only what the girl felt; most of the time.

He looked over to the raven who had began speaking to him. He replied with, 'I know...but it can not be helped. I'll be here...whiether she likes it or not. The threat will soon be upon us. Do you not sense it? It is not far off now.'

He shifted his weight in the tree causing the branchs to sway again..like a wave. He stuck his head out of the tree's leaves trying to get a better view of the girl; how was he supposed to keep a close eye on her if she didn't allow him in the building. He grunted lightly and decided that he may have moved a bit to far away. He began flapping his great wings again and soared through the air. He went back to where the building was and landed on the balcony right outside Keir's window. He wouldn't enter but he'd stay there unless she started to fuss at him again. Hopefully she wouldn't notice that he had come back over.

While he sat there watching, he thought of ways that he could possibly make her happier. Prehaps he could get more gold coins. He remembered that when she received it she was happy for a couple of minutes. Maybe even some new clothes...boots...hair clipps. What could he do for her, he thought.

(XD Hah. This is medieval. No fire escapes back then)

The raven replied that he sensed it. But that didn't mean she sensed it -she didn't want to know.

The raven fluffed it's feathers and stretched it's winds. It looked at Keir who was still on the floor, looking at her hands. She sat up and and threw herself onto the bed, pulling a black feather from her hair and running her fingers along it. It was soft, silky even. It glided gracefully between her figners...

She remembered that when she was young the feathers and the biurds were the only thing that comforted her. When she got odler and her own mother disowned her she realized what horrible luck the black birds would bring her. If only she could thoroughly blame them. But she couldn't. They were her only family now.

She tossed the feather off the bed, peering over the edge to watch it float down to the floor. Keir curled back up, touching her worn socks. She sighed. She had money now... But she didn't want to leave the room. She glanced at the bird. What had she gotten herself into now? This was horrible.

Black birds were horrible.

That's all they brought. They were truly a fascinating bad omen.

Anonymous

He watched on. It was to late to back out now; as soon as she had been connected to her red eyed ravens she became part of the situtation that was now upon them. The 'threat' was after her more then the birds; but they'd gladly take those out aswell. The great bird creature know this, the ravens must know it by now, but the girl...well she'd soon find out.

A scratch was made at the window. 'They're here....we have to move her now; or fight. Choose...we have no time for her fussing.' The ebony bird said in almost a paniced voice to her ravens.

He was right, in the sky, not to far off from where the building was...a grand line of something was flying towards them. White, silver, and blues were filling that half of the sky. They were to far off to distinguse as any one thing...but the black bird outside her window seemed to know that it was something harmful.

'Quickly...quickly' He screeched to her ravens. He had began tapping the glass with his claws now
.

Her ravens cawed to her, manipulating her by biting and pecking and even lightly scratching her to get her to move. They continued after her, encouraging her to move. She looked panic -she felt something. It was a heavy oppression. She stumbled into her boots and pulled the triangular cloth around her waist. Her eyes were wide with panic as she glanced out the window -what was that in the sky? But she didn't have much time to look as the largest of the eight ravens showed her nothing but glossy, irridescent black wings, turning her away from the spectacle, towards the door.

Keir flung open the door and thought about it -down the stairs or into one of the room sand out the otherside? Which would take less time? She had to choose.. she had to hurry.. But her ravens were a few steps ahead of her. They herded her this way and that -through a room and out the window, until she touched down to the ground, alreayd panting from the adrenaline pumping through her veins.

They continued to herd her, away from the sight. Where thought? Not here... Not here..

The ravens understood anywhere open and they would be found. Shelter... Shelter..They needed somewhere where they could hide, if only temporarily. The ravens red eyes knew more tricks then simple seeing. Their eyes scanned farther ahead, taking into account everything no one could see -they looked through the objects in front.

There. A cave. If there was something dangerous inside it... Well. They were sure it was better then what was tailing them.

The ravens pursued her, tugging at her to follow them, herding her out of the town, causing her to struggle through the brambles but her pace only faltered twice during the journey. And when they finally forced her into the cave she sank into the darkest corner.

The cave was small -only enough for about 2 grown men. It was dank, drab, and smelled heavily of mold. This was a temporary spot, she hoped. She didn't want to think she'd be staying here longer then she needed too.

Anonymous

He watched Keir be herded off until he couldn't see her anymore. Turning from the window he faced the enemy who had finally shown it's self. He know what he had to do...protect Keir at all costs. He eyed the creatures in the distance with an evil glare. He would have to lead them right past the cave Keir was hiding in so no suspision would ariase. He had thought to go the opposite way, but thess beasts were not normal. They were to smart for that; they would automatically think that he was leading them away from the girl...so he had to go towards her.

He took a deep breathe and then jumped into the air. Wings were beating quickly as he bolted for his opponent. However, when he got to them he didn't stop, he flew right past them, and then circled back around. He got a good look at the creatures, they were one of the strangest creatures he'd every seen. They were born from magic; just as he was. A witchs and wizards creation, he thought; prephaps they were. They had the heads of bulls, long pointed horns a top them. Fangs for teeth. The neck of a dragon...with the body stucture of a horse. Back legs hooves, and front legs equipped with sharp were claws. It's tail was thin and snake like...with what appeared to be a flower of some sort at the very end. The flower gave off a type of glitter as it flew, leaving a trail of white, silver, and blue.

He flew at them again, getting back on track now. The pervious pass was just to get there attention. He had rammed into a couple, and all of them were now chasing him; just what he wanted them to do. There was a total of six of these strange creatures...who were all following behind him. He thrust his wings through the air trying to make some space between him and the creatures; but there speed were almost matched. He neared the cave that Keir was hiding in. 'Keep down.' He thought directly to Keir. The creatures were right on his tail feathers now; trying to bite at him with their fang like teeth. He barrel rolled to his left, just escaping the fangs. That was a close one.

All the creatures had passed the cave in a quick line, leaving behind thier glitter. He had done it...none of them had glanced into the cave; good. But he was tired now...and would have to keep flying. Sweat had formed of his feathers and he had slowed up a bit. Then a shierk filled the air as one of the creatures grabbed hold of his tail. His eyes grew slightly larger; it pulled him backwards. They rest were soon around him and had pulled him down to the ground. He landed with quite a loud thump. He hissed at them. "Unhand me!" He squacked, raising a talon to one's face and scratching across it. He ruffled his feathers and gave them a quick glare...they had released him for amoment and in that moment he had quickly scurried away and hid behind a tree.

The creatures looked at eachother. "Find the girl...don't worry about that pest." They said before raising into the air and going back to town. It seemed his plan had worked out afterall.

Anonymous

The ravens had played a video in her head of the scene outside with that poor bird. Her eyes widened slightly, frowning very slightly. When the other... very odd and scary creatures turned tail back to the town she paused, waiting only a few moments longer. Keir wasted little time in scrambling from the cave. She crashed through the forest, realizing she didn't know where she was going and spun to the nearest tree, and sure enough there was a red-eyed raven, accompanied by a natural raven.

"Where is he?" She asked, the raven's eyes scanning ahead, taking in all, sinking it into its crimson pools.

The bird caught her eye own gaze, showing her just where. She detoured around a bush and managed to find the large fallen bird. Was he okay? Keir frowned slightly, looking at him. Had he put hurt? Had the fall hurt him or those... beasts? Wait, why was she even concerned for the fleabag? It was just a highly unusual bird, just like her own demonic ravens.

"...Are you okay?" She asked, trying to force her voice to turn apathetic.

She shouldn't care about some stupid creature that she just found. Well, bought. Not that she wanted to fucking buy the stupid thing -she had just wanted to keep walking. Even if he was the most amazing bad omen she had ever seen. Keir had to flinch at her own thoughts. Amazing bad omen? Could their ever be such a thing? What a horrible thing...

Those things were after her? Wasn't she paranoid enough? The hell... What a bad day she was having. What a very, very, very bad day. Things were after? She spent her money... But that Gold coin was compensation... No! She wanted to -stay- angry! Which wasn't working well. Between being worried and fear, she couldn't help it.

He had come from the situtation a bit flustered, and a bit sratched but nothing serious. He stretched his wings out, letting the sweat drops dry in the wind, then folded them back to him. He turned to Kier. He know she was trying not to be worried for him; even though he had just risked his life to save her's...but it really didn't matter much. He was put on the earth to be used; he was simply a tool...and could be used as such. "You need not feel..or even try to feel bad for me. I am your servant...born with this purpose and this purpose only." He said to her..almost a humanish voice comming out of his mouth. It was young; but a raven or bird couldn't have possibly made such a realistic immitation.

His tail feathers were lightly splattered with blood; but it didn't seem to faze him that much. He breathed a sigh. "'We can't stay here long...best we leave town. Do you have all your things?"

Back in the town the creatues had been ravishing the building where they had been staying. They had broke through the windows and doors and were running rampant through the halls trying to find her. The crows from before had sent these images to The Protector of Keir. Looking down he nodded to himself; they were very fast creatures he thought. "We don't have much time....they've almost completed thier searching of the town." He announced with a bit of grief. Grief for Keir that is. He know all these changes had to be hard on her. "I'm sorry M'Lady." he said..and bowed to her slightly.

Anonymous

"Don't do that!" She hissed viciously, her red-brown eyes having widened then contracted to slits.

"Don't bow to me, don't worry about me, don't help me," she snapped, but she seemed more afraid of him being nice to her then anything.

The human voice raised the hairs on the back of her neck, and he was bringing back too many memories. Memories that didn't even belong to her. The ravens had told her, long ago, about her father's demonic heritage. He was just an omen, a symbol of all the things she hated in her life. The steadfast blood that ran through her veins was hated with a deep passion.

That bird, that too-human bird with mismatched eyes was too horrible a memory. And even if he persisted -she didn't want him to care. She didn't want him to serve he. She wasn't that grand a person. She was more inclined to allow those creatures to rip her apart. The thought was relieving and exquisitively terrifying.

The ravens studied Keir. One day, she'd change. She wouldn't always be a very-human girl. But one day she'd be a somewhat human girl, with another form. A demonic form that'd be conjured through the bubbling activity of her blood. They rose into the air, wings beating steadily, the familiar sound doing little for Keir's mind.

"I hate this. I hate you, I hate them... I hate him and her most of all," she snarled, and by him and her she meant those people who gave her life.

Her parents. She hated that slut and she hated that demon. The familiar residual anger that flickered inside her didn't fail her as she turned towards the direction of the birds, led by a simple video of what they saw. It played in her head, and everything seemed the same, as if they were playing what they saw repeatedly.

Anonymous

His feathers had ruffled up again, and startled he took a step backward. He wondered why she was filled with such hatred. Did she not look around her? There were people who actually had it worse then she did...there were still people dieing on the streets, crime, and millions of other things that could be considered bad; or even bad omens. A flush of new feelings had come over him..they were completely random. He didn't have feels other then Keir's own feels every often...many of his other feelings came directly from the crows who had created him.

The crows had grown tired of Keir's fussing...
Crow #1: 'What is she, but a child?
Crow #2: 'No my brother she is a teenager.'
Crow #3: 'Can she not move on...and stop all of this non-sense?'
Crow #4: 'I do not know my sister...she seems held to the past.'
Crow #5: 'Prehaps The Protector can help.'
All: 'Indeed.'

At all times The Protector could communicate with the wise Crows. His different eyes allowed him to do so. His black eye was for visions. To keep track of what the Crows were saying and other times to see what the crows wanted him to see. The Crows were stationed everywhere in the town...and many other towns around the world. They would talk to him...give him instructions, give him images on the surrounds of where they were and also transfer different feelings into him. He was a puppet really.

With an angery expression he looked at her. "What are you a child?" He yelled almost screeching. "Do you think that your the only one who suffers in this world. Some people have never know thier parents...never had a home....no one who cared for them...you should atleast be happy that you had a mom and dad...They may not be with you now...or the best; but you had a family. Ok you had a bad childhood...but your dwelling on it far to long...you need to move on. Now it's time to go." Yes the Crows also know her past. They know just about everything there was to know about her...they were there when she was born. She was special to them...she had always been connected to the ravens and crows.

He stepped toward her and tried to lead her off in the direction out of town.

"Yes I am a child!" She snapped back harshly, not missing a beat.

"What do I care about the other people in this world? What do I care of those that die every second of every damn die? They arn't me, I have no reason to consider or care for them!" She snarled, arms crossing over her chest, her eyes narrowing to slits.

"I never asked this -I don't want it. I'm sick and tired of this bullshit. Of you stupid birds. You say that those things are a threat? I hope they get us all. I hope you all die," she said apathetically.

Keir was disowning them. Family? She didn't care anymore. She didn't want a family, even if it consisted of the black omens she had grown up with. She didn't want them here.
