As soon as he began changing, the resignation on her face changed to something similar to horror, but it wasn't, in a way. It was more like... her worst fear realized? She stepped back away from him, and when he reached out his hand she slid her arms behind her body, clapsing her hands together. She didn't want to touch him.
This was some dream. A very elaborate, crazy dream. She had gotten into some food that upset her stomach. This was nothing more than some insane dream. That's all it was. There was now guy who... changed from a bird. There were crows. And something and something... It was... not right.
The ravens tilted their heads to look at their cousins that brought this on. Perhaps it had been long-since coming. But since the day Keir was born, they had been safe-guarding her. They had dealt with her argumentative attitude through it. They had learned how to manipulate her. They had learned every essential part of her that made her tick.
A raven simply ruffled it's feathers. 'Cousin, she knows those things. They wont stop her. She's heard them before. She creates reasons to dislike us -to dislike other people.' The raven said, glittering eyes shifting over to the now human-formed protector.
"A dream, a dream!" She clenched her eyes together, hoping, thinking, wishing.
She opened them.
Nothing but the same. Why her? Why did this have to happen to her? Why was she landed with this responsibility? It was alreayd crushing her.
