Before his journey to this meeting, he had been at his home, at the forge outside, filling orders for armors and/or weapons. He remembered the messenger boy delivering the message of a messenger bird. Granted, the system was backwards but he didn't have any aviary, nor any riches to buy one and even if he would have the funds he wouldn't have the room or desire to build one.
The first thing one would notice was his species, his appearence spoke for itself, he was an anthropomorphic boar. The second thing to distinguish him was his clothes, durable cloth of varying shades of beige and brown. It was very much the mark of a comoner, but the dual swords at the hip and the defined mousles distinguished him as a warrior. He always keept a big bag over his shoulder, his armor hidden in it, wrapped in furs to prevent the familiar metal on metal sounds
He had been summoned by one of the merchant lords, him and a few others. Before they calked attention to themselves and further explained what their problem was, Athos decided to mingle. At least introducing himself "Athos Smith" and offering a hand to shake, "Must be serious if the threat can't be dealth with normal means".
