Several nights ago, The Mage's Guild got a letter asking for assistance protecting a small town. Sieg had decided that he himself would answer the call. It was more interesting than sitting behind a desk doing paperwork or counting money that the guild had no use for. When he got to the village, it were in shambles. Razed to ashes would be a proper way to describe it. But the people were real optimists, just using what they could to rebuild. The mayor made a bit of a fuse when Sieg showed up, but it were more because he was afraid that his village could not pay for the protective service of the Master of the Mage Guild. The god went on to reassure him by saying under the circumstances, the job would be done pro bono.

And So Sieg set to work, clearing away the rubble and using wood magic to make entire homes in mere minutes. It was interesting to see the people's reaction when a two story inn is built beam by beam, each extending from the first until there was a full and complete inn with a stylist allure to it. It made Sieg very happy to see the people happy. But as it were, Night would be falling soon and a new wall for the city were in order.
