Title: The Jotunheim are Dead, Dear
Post by: AevumEternity on November 12, 2016, 06:06:41 PM
The reindeer blood caused steam to rise from the permafrost in great, white plumes of smoke. The massive beast lay on its stomach, tearing one of the domesticated animals in twain, crunching the thick bone between its powerful teeth. The demon's massive mane shook as it tore apart its quarry. The large scales on its hide glimmering in the harsh sunlight.

Black, soulless eyes flickered across the white tundra, past the slaughtered herd. She had been starving in these past few weeks, wandering this icy waste. These was no war here, no where for her to gain a profit. The great manticore froze suddenly- there was an unusual scent on the breeze, it made her bristle with unease... What was this..?
Pushing herself up, she swung her great head to and fro, search the white landscape for the source of the smell, black lips curling back from terrible yellow fangs.

Gawfy had been Wandering In this Godforsaken Stretch of land for what seemed like Days. His luck seemed to turn on him, Again. But things where looking up, He did find a Snow rabbit. After killing it he made a small campfire. He Started Cooking when the snow started to pick up. Not only that but Gawfy swore he could have felt tremors while Wandering. He turned his back and Continued cooking while on his guard.

The beast's nostrils flare faintly- smoke- and cooking flesh. Charring flesh over frozen flesh, only warmed by its quickly freezing fluids was a meal she'd gladly take as quality over quantity. Pushing her great, muscled from up from the ice, the frost forming upon her, great chunks of white falling from the monstrosity as she began to pad toward the smoke. Head low- steadily gaining speed as she moved more quickly across the ice.

If he were to look up from his fire, he would see a stadily growing shape drawing nearer... Slowly... The tremors growing steadily more pronounced and violent.

Gawfy continued to cook. He Pulled out a Bottle of rum and started to pour it into the searing pan giving the meat a succulent Flavor. He Looked up as he finished cooking it and putting it on a relatively clean whetstone as to use it as a plate. He noticed a Shadow through the snow. And it seemed to get bigger at an alarming rate. Gawfy Kept his food in his right hand as he grabbed his bags and  walked away from the camp site. "probably wants to know whats up with that fire" Gawfy said as he Kept is left arm aimed at his Fire.

Of course the beast did, upon noting the single figure, her bestial lips curled back into a smirk. Easy meal... Quickly speeding up, clouds of snow exploding each time a massive pad struck the snow- steam rolling from her nostrils as she ripped across the tundra- growing closer until the abomination was nearly upon him, noting the massive sword upon the man's back idly- less then a hundred feet from the man now and preparing to pounce upon him-

Gawfy Dropped his food when he saw How massive it was, even from that far away. He Drew his sword with his right Hand Making a thud as his Crashed into the Ground. He then waited for It to close in.  When it got close he was gonna Give it a surprise when it closed in.

Immediately she sensed the power from the blade, the calm assurance making her snarl before she lifted from ground. Immediately the beast slamming into him with immense force, causing the very ice to shatter with the force on which the manticore landed upon the man- huge talons sinking into his armor and flesh~

Gawfy Crashed Into the ground. He Felt his abdomen Get torn into. As he hit the Ground he punched into the beasts Chest with his left arm. The Plate Covering the cannon was lifted. A Loud Btooom Rang in his ears as he Shot into The beast on top of him. He Felt the Wight of the Claws off of him so he Kicked his way out from under It. Picking his sword back up He took a few steps away from the best as it Felt its wound. You just couldnt ask nicely could you? Gawfy had no idea why he was talking to an animal. But to be fair he hadnt seen anything alive to talk to in days.

The monster seemed vaguely surprise that the traveler was lugging around a cannon seemingly in his back pocket. A great black stain stretched across its chest, the scales seeming undamaged by the explosion. Shaking its great head, its mane making a sound like a thousand spears being rattled together, it fixed him in its black stare- lips curling back in a sneer. Of course not, it seemed to say, though nothing but a gutteral snarl lifted from its horrifying maw. The manticore pressed itself in a prowling stance- simply seeming to wait to see what the man would do though it seemed to have the ability to simply rip in half in a mere second... But it seemed to be enjoying the sound of a voice as well.

Gawfy's Ears Perked up when he heard it talk. You can talk? Then why the Hell did you pounce me you Gawfy was thinking what Kind of insult a Manticore would find.....insulting but came up blank
He then Saw the Small Lead ball Drop from the silver Scales. He put his hand over his stomach wound and snickered to himself.  And the fucking cannon trick didn't work, just my luck Well i guess i wont bother reloading it. He said as he Got his blade in both hands. His Helmet Crawled Up from his back And Bit over his head to cover it. You are really limiting my choices here you know that? He said as he waited for a response. He Didnt like Going berserk but it would look like he might if this beast Didnt stop attacking.

The manticore began to pace before him, head low, lips curled back in the same sneer. No- it had not spoken, but it seemed rather amused he thought it had. This time the beast parted its jaws, out of the massive fangs came a voice so silken, so sweet it was almost impossible to believe it came from the monster," Share. Human- I do not have the ability to create flame myself, so I cannot cook the flesh I... Harvest." The mosnter's red tongue swipes over the plated jaws, soulless eyes glaring at him.

Gawfy didnt know what to think at the Time. He felt like if he agreed the monster would just kill him the second his back Turned. He Found his whet stone in the snow Next to him and the rabbit he cooked. He Picked it up with out losing eye contact he threw it over to the beasts way. There are a lot better ways to ask if you can use some one camp you know.Well to be fair Most manticores Didnt talk so he had to cut it some slack. Look you bring Me back what ever you "harvest" and ill cook it? Deal With a flourish he Slowly but his sword on his back. But he Dug his hand into one of his toolbelt pokets.

Briefly glancing down at the tiny snow that fell near one massive paw, it snorted," What am I supposed to do with a pebble used for sharpening butter knives, mm?" the honeyed voice sneered before the creature turned abruptly, the great barb on its tail sailing mere inches past his face witha  metallic screech as the beast began to trot away- great muscles heaving an rippling," Do not disappoint me, Man. I could always use you instead of the quarry I have sewn." With that, the abomination in the gods' eyes took off at a lope- back towards the slaughtered herd of reindeer~

Just gawfy's Luck he thought he had reached down and grabbed the Rabbit he had cooked. They did Fall right next to each other. But as fate would have it he would throw the stone instead of the food. He Dug out the rabbit. Still a bit warm! He walked next to his fire and re heated it a little. his head was still woozy after the blood he had lost he Dug around his camp bag to get his fairy dust, After rubbing some on the wound He Got the rabbit Bits and was about to eat them. He Looked up to see the beast that mauled Him already back. He Sighed as he held out the Rabbit.

The monster held the half torn carcass of a reindeer in its great jaws. Now no more then four feet from the man, it dropped the frozen carrion directly upon the first, causing it to extinguish almost immediately. The demon looked at the dead fire in confusion,"... This is... Cooking? How... Quaint." It tilted its head to one side, not seeming concerned with the man before it at all- it's not as if he could hurt the monster any way- nothing harmed Aev'iterna the demonlord mercenary...

Gawfy Watched as It Dropped what looked like a Deer Right on top of the Fire. He Stood up and removed the deer. he held out the rabbit. Here just eat this for the  time being. After about 15 Minutes Gawfy had the Deer Skinned and Quartered. He Started the fire back Up and dropped some of the Game on his skillet. It sizzled and popped as it emitted a Tasty smell. He saw The Beast about ready to rush the fire. So how was my Rabbit? He asked

The beast had settled on its stomach, now no more then two feet from him. Massive head resting upon even large claws- it had swallowed the tiny morself in a single gulp. Its large eyes fluttering shut as the flames flickered harsh light across its massive scales.
" Unsatisfying but adequate." The manticore rumbles in response. It seemed to be growing more comfortable despite the steadily dropping temprature- the wind was picking up, howling with the promise of snow.

Gawfy Put more of the meat in the pot as he saw it eat his rabbit in one gulp. He Got his Rum out again and poured it all over this Pot full of meat. After about ten minutes the Pot was ready. Gawfy took it off the Fire. He Then put the cooked meat Next to the Beast. Dont have any plates So we are gonna have to make Due. He Knew cooking the meat like This was gonna take forever. So Gawfy pulled his sword from his back and Jury Rigged it with some Sticks and rocks to stay over the fire. He was able to put almost all of the meat on the blade over the fire. Never Thought i would be Using my sword like this. He turned to The beast. So if you speak does that mean you have a name?

" Every demon has a name-" the beast rumbles, turning away from him. As it did so- the monster seemed to shrink, the massive scales slidings from its frame, mane slowly fluttering away with the wind. The beast slowly seemed to disappear until its place was a young woman. She hunched over her bare legs, hugging her knees to her chest, shivering slightly in the freezing wind- steel grey ringlets cascaded down her slender back, though her ribs stood out against flawless skin.
The young woman was absolutely stark naked- or the monster persay. But demons probably didn't have to worry about clothing all too often. But it was clear this one was not doing too well- no wonder it seemed so desperate to find food- and a fire,"- mortals who know demoncraft invoke such names to control us. I shall not share mine with the likes of you."

Gawfy wasnt that fazed that we was dealing with another demon. Hell this probably happened to him every other week. He took off The Cloak around his armor and threw it over the Woman. Demon or not we all get cold.Made more sense why she attacked him over the fire now. He went back and Gave her the Deer pelt he carved up. He went back over to the food. Well what should i call you then? Beast, Lion,? He asked as he flipped the Food with one of his throwing Knifes

Not even offering the slightest gesture of thanks, instead merely moving closer- surprisingly small for a demon shifter as she leans against him- her eyes were like voids within the night sky. Lightless, black and all consuming as she stared into the fire," Whatever suits your needs, demon hunter... Mercenary-" she turns her head slightly, examining the massive sword at his side,"... That sword. It has many sorrows attached to it, I can smell the blood of my brethren on it- it has a story. Does it not?@

Gawfy's heart dropped when she heard the words demon killer but he didn't move. If she wanted to exact revenge of any sort she could. After hearing what she said he opened his mouth and spoke. Yes, Yes it does. This was The last sword my father made. He didn't expect anyone to wield it he just went to work like normal but he changed when she died. gawfy looked at the ground as the fire popped. My mother was a demon hunter by trade. Soon after i was born she went out and never came back. She had some where to be, She must have been in a hurry because she left this armor behind. Years later her past caught up with us and a demon wanted to kill us. I Picked up this sword and put on my mothers armor and started swinging, And i havent stopped since. The mood was Gloomy for a while until Gawfy Spoke up.How does Eva sound?

Nodding faintly as she listened, the young woman's head resting against his arm as she hugged the hide and cloak more firmly about her," That is better then most names people have given me," she answers in a neutral tone, the black pits that were her eyes fluttering shut dor a moment. Aev'iterna pondered her conundrum- it was clear she would likely have to spare this man until exiting the tundra- lest she risk simply freezing to death or go mad without some notion of life, no matter how insignificant, closeby that was not simply prey.
Upon listening to his story, she shifted faintly- focusing upon the darkness creeping overhead as night approached. She had fought demonhunters, of course she had- some even sold themselves as mercenaries much as herself- occasionally fighting alongside her should their employers do the same. They always ended up clashing in the end though- the hunters always died," Why bother hunting demons if you have already avenged the one that likely destroyed your mother, sellsword?"

Because im not satisfied. Gawfy said as he watched the fire. That demon told me he had many in his employ before i Hacked him to bits. I cant replace What he and his underlings took from me. So im going to Keep killing them until they kill me. Gawfy pulled a parchment with a powerful symbol on it. If a demon has this rune on it It means they contracted with My mothers Killer. I know I cant kill every demon in the world so im content with hunting the Ones with this Rune on them Gawfy said as he Took his whetstone out of the Snow and put some Meat on it handing it to Eva. Dig in, Say do you still have that Beastly appetite in this form? He asked. He then put out his hand. Name is Gawfy By the way.

Reaching out, she took the parchment, fingers tracing the rune upon the papers. She exhaled carefully, briefly remembering some of her squabbles with other demons seeing this mark on every major siege she had particpated in. Her latest- remembering the gushing blood between her lips as her talons sank into the twisted form of a fellow abomination- the mark had been just beneath the creature's eye-

The flashback caused the young woman's stomach to rumble and she took the stone without complaint, using her fingers to carefully tear apart the steaming meat as she hunched beside him," Well... He was not lying- did you know the beast's name before you killed him, Gawfy?"

Absolutely no idea Gawfy said as he Grabbed a Slab of meat with his Hands and blew on it.
All i remember is grabbing the sword and Getting in the armor, After that Its a blur. Then afterwards the house was a wreck and there was blood everywhere. Gawfy tried to bite into the meat, but it was still too hot burning his mouth.

" That's a shame- symbols are only symbols, everything has a name... A demon's symbol without a name is just a random scrawl on some paper," 'Eva' answers softly, making a slurping sound as she sucked some of the succulent juices away from the burning flesh upon the stone- narrowing her eyes against the howling wind.
" So, Gawfy, in your heart of hearts- you truly wish to see all demons eradicated, hm?" her black eyes slide over to examine his face, briefly allowing herself to admire his features. Was he not a hunter, she may have considered pouncing upon him in a different way.

I just want to erase every thing related to my mother and her killer and his allies He said as he Clenched his fist When or if i Kill them all im not sure what ill do next. " That is a rather pathetic." She spoke bluntly, narrowing her black eyes as she finished the cooked meal, pausing long enough to lick the porous rock clean of any remaining juices without freezing her tongue to its surface. Seeming to notice frost slowly forming upon the man's armor, the young woman stood slowly, hugging the cloak and hide tightly around her shoulders before moving behind him, opening up both layers before wrapping her arms about his neck, draping himself and the layers over her companion. The demon's chin rested upon his shoulder as her cheek rested against his, staring into the dying flame as she hummed into his ear," Do you know why that is a pathetic life, Gawfy?"

Settling more comfortably against his back, the demon huffed softly," Because your purpose will never be fulfilled- and even if it does end up being fulfilled, you will be left even more empty then before. That is a crueler life then most demons have." She answered softly, sighing against his ear, pursing her lips.

" I would keep swinging that sword- but for a price," she answers, turning her head- her nose poking lightly against he man's cheek. She was unsure why she enjoyed touching and poking and simply teasing this man, but it was fun to say the least. Maybe it was because he was so warm- but either way...
" That is what I do now- I am a mercenary, a demon- the price on my head exceeds my weight in gold nearly a hundred times as much as I weigh in my true form. If you could manage to kill me, you'd be a legend- little Gawfy. So just keep swinging that sword- but away from me, hm?"

Turning her head, idly nuzzling his hair- this man was weirdly alluring, and incredibly comfortable... Well, more comfortable then lying atop permafrost waiting to be covered in a blanket of snow," Of course, we're mortally enemies once we leave this wasteland, are we not? You hunt me, I hunt you, but we're forced into a rather sticky situation so all that becomes null and void."
arching a slender eyebrow, she tilts her head- silver hair tickling his face as she embraced him against the cold," I will admit to a polite curiosity."

Put you hand on the armor. He Gently took her and and put it on his chest. She would Feel unimaginable rage. One that could burn through Gawfy in minutes if left unchecked. Thats how stay alive. The armor Keeps my organs and bones together no matter how many times they tear and break. The Only problem is I cant control my self when it happens. Gawfy let go of her hand. Besides I dont think you killed my Mother. It would be a fools errand to kill every demon i see, especially one as kind as yourself.

Her hand remained upon his chestplate, her brow furrowing gently,"So you can never take off this armor, hm?" she asks softly, vaguely disappointed- maybe in another life she would be much more enthusiastic in getting him to take it off but right now... She rested her cheek against his, seeming thoughtful.
" That is rather sad, Gawfy- you think I am kind, I am merely mad- and merely using you to survive," she spoke softly, though her voice did not seem quite as sincere as her words may have lead him to believe.

Shrugging gently, she simply pushes some of her ringlets from her soulless eyes- musing under her breath," Well... I can still kill you, but fair enough." she chuckles softly. Her hands came up, playfully grasping his throat, squeezing his larynx just enough to be notable," I could rip you in half, whenever-" shrugging gently, she turns her head- the demon pressing her lips against his cheek," But you are correct, you are too much fun for me, at this moment."

" Connlaoth was my destination, it is true- I came here first in order to see if there were any wars up north- that clearly was not the case." She chuckles dryly, moving faintly, snuggling against him- the demon smirks faintly," What can be done before dawn? it's freezing." " I can survive it when I stumble upon herds to feast upon- many of which last me about a week if things grow dire. The temperature, alas- is my only true enemy here, as it is yours, yes?" Being casually lifted as he stood, still clinging to his back like a living knapsack, the demon was surprisingly light- still holding the cloak and hide about them firmly as she squinted against the howling winds, pondering for a moment before suggesting," Shall we make a cave or would you like to journey onward? This tundra is rather... Frustrating and I would personally not like to deal with it much longer." She muttered offhandedly

Adjusting her hands where they grasped the layers of warmth and wrapped carefully about his neck, the demon answered crisply," I will come with you. I am too comfortable to move." As she spoke, she nuzzled the back of his head, making an odd purring, growling sound in the depths of her throat. Indeed- far, far too comfortable to give up a free ride and a snug position. Even the most fierce of demons enjoyed a bit of luxury now and then~

"Better than her eating me, Or even better than me having to use my trump card" He thought as he walked onward.  Be sure to keep the cloak on when we get into town. Gawfy said as he Kept marching. " I will never understand why you humans are so firm upon keeping modest, but very well-" she grumbles, hugging the cloak and hide tightly around them both- closing her eyes. 'Eva' was pondering her situation, he was escorting her to a likely populated area at the edge of the tundra- likely a place where she could feed with no problem but... Him. " You don't own me," Came a rather clipped response from the young woman as she shifted on his back, her hands wrapped about his neck squeezing briefly- the gesture either comfortingly or threateningly depending on how one took such subtle gestures. Briefly noticing she was drifting off into thought again, the demon pressed her nose and lips to the back of Gawfy's neck, exhaling- steam curling from her lips and warming the skin of the base of his skull.

No i dont own you but if you cause a ruckus Then the finger is going to get pointed at me.Gawfy said as she Wrapped her hands around his neck. He Didn't respond her her gestures as he walked.
Gawfy then Put his sword on his side dragging it against the ground as he Grabbed her legs, almost as if he was giving her a piggyback ride.

Smirking against her skin, she simply shrugs in response- gazing down as the sword shifted to the side- watching the massive blade warily even as she squished her cheek against his neck," Very well, I'll be good, for now at least-" she muttered softly,  closing her eyes... Of course, Demons never made very reliable promises.

[Sure]

After hours of walking the sun had come up and Gawfy was now at a Jog. The Demon he was carrying seemed to be asleep as she bounced. Gawfy came over a Hill and There it was, It was no capital city but hot springs where hot springs. The ground No longer permafrost Gawfy stepped foot on cold soil for the first time in days. He stepped into the gates as the morning sun rose. As he did he Jumped a little and bounced harder to wake Her.  Goddammit Eva get up, We are in town now. As he said this Gawfy could feel more pressure on his neck as she awoke.

The demon blinked slowly, lifting her face from where it had been buried into the cloak and hide- her void-like gaze settling upon the village. Sniffing slightly, shaking her head, frost cracking upon her hair, she mutters," I'm up- I'm up-"  shaking her head slowly. This wasn't the most fantastic village she'd ever been to, nor the worst- at least it was near the borders of the tundra if the super heated waters could reach the surface of the earth," Looks like a backwater to me," she comments disdainfully but smirks viciously

A backwater with Hot foods and Hot beds Gawfy said as he turned and walked into an Inn and ordered some food and a room. He climbed the stairs as the sword clunked after each step. Gawfy got in the room and closed the Door and Dropped Eva on the bed as he sat on the one on the other side of the room. We should have food Shortly He said as he undid the Bindings on the inside of his armor. He Took The Gautlets off then the chest plate and put them on a chair. His torso could write many books if each scar told a story. He left the leg armor on and layed down as he set all of his things on the floor.

Allowing herswlf to be plopped onto the bed like a sack of potatoes, once more wrapping the cloak and hide about only her own form. Tilting her head to one side, causing silver ringlets to spill over her shoulder. The demon shifted to allow him to splay himself upon the bed, smirking faintly," What? Exhausted already?" She mocks

That was likely too much to hope for, after all- he had a demonic traveling buddy now! As he closed his eyes, he would eventually feel ghe familiar weight of the young woman 'Eva' who now straddled his stomach, lightly resting her hands on his chest... Most notably having left both cloak and hide behind, seeming rather unabashed by her... Exposed form as she leaned down.

" I'm sure you still enjoyed it though, hm?" She teases with a sneer

Her voice dropped an octave, becoming a sultry purr

" We'll see, you've made yourself very useful to me- I see no reason why I should shred you now-" 'Eva' cooes, squirming a bit before laying rather snuggly atop him, her fingers tapping out rhythms on his chestplate as she does so, looking up rather disdainfully as there was a knock on the door- clearly nt willing to move.

Hearing The knock on the door Gawfy Scooted his way to the End of the bed and stood up with eva still hanging on to his chest. He cracked the door just enough for the girl to see only his head. He grabbed the Tray of food From her hand and Shut the door. he sat down on the edge of the bed after eva got off of him. So How old are you anyway? He asked as he ate.

As his breathing slowed, she looked up- making sure he was fast asleep before slipping out of his arms. Wrapping his cloak around her naked body and settling the hide over him. She smirks affectionately at the demon hunter, opening the door- glancing over her shoulder, whispering," Oh I doubt you'll do anything quite like this, dearest..."

Aeva's hand gently guided the bear-like paw of the drunk hunter over her hip. She had him pinned to the muddy-icy ground, straddling the very drunk giant's chest. He of course, was not struggling- what man would having been drawn away by a beautiful young woman? A low grumbling laugh bubbled from the man's chest as she leaned over him, soft hands sliding beneath the tunic- the man believed this to be some kind of strange flirting game...

Until pain exploded in his belly, dulled only slightly by the liquor in his system. He tried to utter a scream but a soft hand slammed over his mouth. Soon the shock of being literally torn apart caused the man to fall into the blackness of unconciousness.

The massive Manticore landed lithely, its enormous eframe seeming to blot out the sun- it black eyes gleaming with pure malice," I admit to have taken a liking to you are a pet, hunter," the cold, silky voice emerging from black rubbery lips as the beasts massive talons flexed into the ground," Do not doubt if I had gotten your armor off, I would have... Pounced on you in a second, alas~" her voice gave way to a hissing chuckle,"~ What is done is done. If you were truly as righteous as you say... You would have cut me down before reaching that village. You can imagine what happened to those poor, succulent souls." (Woah man- that's god modding xD you have to attack once, let me respond and counter, rp your defense and repeat... xD not all at once)

Each attack only seemed to bounce off the thick armor upon her entire form- immediately the manticore let out a shriek of defiance- whipping about, long tail screaming through the air before slicing the explosive in have- causing the flames to die before ever reaching the powder inside.

" 'Human'?" She echoes, falling into a hunting stance, belly pressed close to the ground as the long tail anding with a bar hung menacingly about the massive beast in a lasso-like loop,"Well, hunter, unlike your previous encounters, I am unemployed and looking for Blood!!" the word ended with a roar that blended with the silken voice as the monster lunched forward, crashing into him- the force of the attack causing the trees in their path to splinter and fall- already massive talons worked to tear him to shreds~

(sorry bout that, Meant for that to be a Feint)

Eva crashed into him. As they flew Gawfy waited for the end of her momentum and kicked himself off of the ground. Narrowly dodging one claw but the other catching him in the lower side. A trail of blood followed him as he tumbled away from her. He then stood up.I wonder, What will you sacrifice for victory? As he said this A second layer of plating drove over his armor as the Rivets Drove into him and His helm came from his back biting over his head. The Slits in the eyes grew Red with a glow and Gawfy let out a howl Getting closer to the ground, Before charging at her sword held like a spear with unprecedented force

The manticore's tail lashed out at him in an attempt to swipe his legs from under him as it ducked its broad forehead toward him- as if expecting him to crash through regardless- huge silvery mane bristled- each one glittering with the promise of agony.

" In this case-" the demon hisses between ivory fangs,"-The first human I've found to be good company." Her lips seeming to curl into a sneer, though somewhat disappointed at that. It was rather annoying he had decided to begin their battle now rather then later~ ah well

The blow with his arm did nothing to big creature, but the smoke created by the explosion as well as the shockwave caused the beasts huge head reared back even as the talons continued to drive into the armor, tearing it apart slowly. The manticore hissed in annoyance, seeming quite unbothered by his departure as she slammed her face into the forest floor, scraping at its face to rid it of the smoke and ash that had blinded it. Massive tail flailing wildly.

Whipping its massive head around- one eye squeezed shut while the other was no more then a slit- the monster hisses at him, the sound loud as steam from a volcanoe as the telepathic voice responds angrily.

" Yer damn right." the voice drawled with anger.

(Hey no worries man! Don't sweat it! Everything good?)

Gawfy Leaned more On his sword as the Red snow below him crunched. As young as you are you are quite the struggler He said as he Pulled forth one of his Bags Of fairy dust and Shoved a fistfull into his wound. His vision started to blur

( Yeah just went on a hunting trip. Dont have to buy anymore college cafeteria food for a while now)

The monster crouched slowly, prowling forward- clearly on the hunt," Hmph- well-" her voice seemed to curl about his ears far too pleasantly, far too gentlg,"- Thats how I survive. I struggle." the manticore was now no more then two feet from him- great face hovering just before his.

" But it's a shame. I truly did like you- love might be a bit much, but you were definitely nice to have as a temporary companion."

(Thats awesome!!!! Deer? Elk? Turkey? Quail? Whatd ya get?)

Gawfy fell back with a Smirk still on his face. The hole in his chest wasn't healing fast enough and he would kill himself if he tried any heavy swings. It was a nice change of pace He said as he raised his Right arm up to her face. Monster like us should stick together He muttered as the ground around him started to Run red.

(White tail deer in northern Ohio. Got a 9 Point Buck. and my father got a Big old Momma Doe was supposted to only stay a week and stayed 2 weeks. I also Had Birds Land on me while i was sitting on the ground.)

The manticore moved closer, pressing its muzzle faintly into the palm of his hand, the scales beginning to fall, dissolve- the massive mosnter slowly shrinking until the white haired girl remained, pressing her lips to his armored palm- one hand cupping his hand as she knelt before him," Would you try to kill me again? It is much easier when I am extremely squishy." She murmurs, looking at him suspiciously even though the demoneds seemed to be quite... concerned.

(Snow White and the 7 AKs xD)

Crawling over to him, still in a prowling, hunting stance. This time sitting upon his lap as she cupped his face in her hands- the living helm seemed to not deter her as Aev'iterna smirked slightly," I told you not to fuck with me, Hunter."

Shaking her head gently, she hugged him around the neck- kissing his forehead. Not seeming to notice or care about the blood gushing from his wound.

Gawfy started chuckling Im not a very good listener it seems. He rested his head on the snow making a crunch as the weight settled. The bone was healed and the flesh and viscera where following after it. If you wanted to kill me now would be the time before i heal completely

" You really aren't a good listener," she confirms, laying against his chest as she rested her hands idly upon his shoulders," I don't want to kill you. Then no one else would bother carrying me," offering him a humorous smile, she reaches up; fingertips brushing his lips playfully.

" Gawfy, will you live?"

Holding onto his neck while wrapping her legs about his waist. Burying her face against his neck, she muttered," You better, or I'll revive you and kill you again myself." She looked up at him, smiling brightly.

The demoness settled more comfortably against him, nuzzling his neck and armored shoulder like a loving puppy as he walked on- it was odd... this affection, but truthfully it was quite relieving.

(Time skip to town or to being in a battle in Connlaoth?)
