Mythica continued to keep her ground, picking off her enemies one by one as they rose to challenge her. Things were going well, until she heard one of the officers yell. With a sudden explosion, the whole ship vibrated as her galleon erupted with explosions from the inside. Mythica stopped fighting, only for a moment to witness the destruction. Her face darkened, and she gripped her blade tighter. Her ship had sustained substantial damage, but it wasn't enough to sink the Seraph. However, one more blast at that range would surly end the fight. She wouldn't underestimate the Carrack again, and the captain knew exactly what needed to be done.
"My ship!" She yelled as the explosions erupted, then she stabbed her sword directly into one of her foes' stomach, using her strength to keep his body upright. She then released a powerful kick combined with wind magic, sending him flying across the deck, hitting several others. That's when she spotted an opening. She elegantly avoided the conflict as she sprinted straight for one of the openings into the lower decks. Mythica dove inside, upon impact released another torrent of powerful wind magic, blowing everyone on the cannon deck off their feet. "You bastards!" She wasted no time targeting, and killing the gunnery officers, before moving her attention to the gunners themselves. The wind magic swirled around her, creating somewhat barrier that slowed her enemies when they tried to get near her. At this point, Mythica usually would ignite the powder kegs in the ship to bring its demise, and heavens beware she wanted to. But her objective didn't involve sinking the Reynard. For now all she could do was incapacitate the carrack from anymore devastating blows to her ship.
With another sudden blast of wind energy, the large hatch to the lower deck of the Reynard bursted open, wood and splinters flew as two crew men were accompanied by the shock wave. Then Mythica came jumping out of it, her sword dripping with blood, her eyes filled with fury. She landed elegantly in front of the double doors leading to the captain's quarters where her eyes fell upon her enemy. She had her weapon extended towards him as she silently stood there watching the fox man, waiting for his move... If he decided to order another blow to the Seraph, he would find that there would be no response on the cannon deck.
