The truth was that she was merely being wary of Kasa because she was unfamiliar. She wasn't doing anything, and the spider was sick anyway, so there wasn't going to be a fight. In fact, the only other thing Condord did was let out a sound like 'Murger' in a rasp of a hiss, and it was not a word, but a grumble. Gary soon returned with the rabbits, but he wasn't releasing them yet, because he didn't want to strain the spider. He really cared for this thing, though. He even patted it, comfortingly.
