Physical Description
Aldéric is strong and well built for a gryphon of his size; being of the Falconine gryphons, he is only about the size of a large lynx, but the fact that he flies around almost all day makes him look bigger than he actually is. Both his fur and his feathers are pitch black, with the exception of his belly, which is a light grey. His beak is a dark grey, and his eyes are like little blue sapphires.....
Well, one of them, anyway.... Over his left eye, he wears an eyepatch, and, if one looks closely, they can see the scar running down his face from what he says was an accident; in reality, it was the result of an argument between him and his former master, which left him on the ground, burned, and missing an eye.
Personality
Aldéric is best described as distant. His demeanor is almost always pragmatic, brooding or even down right depressed at times; however he takes his job as a blacksmith very seriously, and his job seems to be one of the few things that seems to lift his mood. His attitude towards strangers is one of suspicion, and even if he has known a person for years, he still wouldn't be comfortable around them, hence why he lives in relative isolation, simply working his trade.
Magic/Abilities
Smithing: Assuming one can coax him to show them a few things, they will soon see that Aldéric is a master at gryphonic smithing; he can make things in typical human fashions as well, but it would take some convincing, given his past dealings with them....
