"Alright then." With that decided, Blodwen went over to a small, clear patch of grass and began the transformation of shifting into the requested form. Her height began to shrink, her skin became more bluish in color and leaves sprouted from her body before she soon took the shape of a large blue and yellow flower, about three feet tall.

While in flower-form, Blodwen still could 'see' what was going on around her, just in a more sensing type of way. To the casual observer she would merely look like an over-sized flower, sitting there among the regular blooms of nature.

Swarm watched her turn into her flower form, and slowly approached her, taking the bottom of the bloom gently in one of their hands. They cocked their other hand back, and the wrappings fell off, revealing almost the entire arm. A long chain of beetles interlocked their bodies, turning stiff and straight, and this structure took up Swarm's entire forearm.

They slowly lowered this proboscis of sorts into the flower, and pollen-collecting insects like bees and flowers used this proboscis like a ladder, since the structure of such a large flower was unfamiliar to them.

Ethereal-Star

As insects made their way into the shifted form of the flower that was Blodwen, the flower nymph just sat still and waited as Swarm took what pollen he needed. She had to admit, the feeling was rather strange. Blodwen could feel the multitude of beetles and other insects on the surface as they wriggled about, collecting the pollen that she was now able to give.

All she could really do now was wait until they were done.

DaGlobster

Swarm visibly shifted as worker insects came back bearing loads of Blodwen's magical pollen. They were quite visibly enjoying the new materials they had to work with now.

"We must have more..." Swarm muttered, and pushed his proboscis arm deeper into the flower.

Ethereal-Star

Blodwen 'heard' Swarm's statement of "We must have more," and again all she could do was wait as the insects came in for another round of pollen collection. It kind of tickled too, but she was unable to do anything about it. The insects continued to pour in, many many insects all enjoying the succulent sweetness of the large flower.

DaGlobster

Finally, after several minutes, Swarm was finished, after every last particle of pollen was absorbed into them. Swarm didn't know if it'd have any adverse effects on her, and frankly, they didn't care. Sure, the flower nymph was nice, but in the end, the collective was more important.

Swarm retracted their proboscis arm, assimilating it back into their being.

"We thank you, gentle nymph."

Ethereal-Star

After they had finished, Blodwen transformed back into her normal form, feeling weakened after all this. She gave them a weak smile before collapsing down on the grass, needing to recharge her energies. Her vitality would eventually be rejuvenated, but the flower nymph would need to assimilate with the flowers around her in order to accomplish this.

Blodwen had wanted to help, but in doing so she severely dampened the natural flow of energy through her being, and now she wondered if it wasn't exactly the wisest thing to do. Too late now. It would take some time for her to replenish though. She assumed the creature was done with what he came here for, and began the process of melding with the colorful blooms that surrounded her home. Blodwen closed her eyes in doing so, seeming to disappear from sight almost entirely. Needless to say, she would not be available to chat for several days, if not weeks even.

((OOC: I think we're nearing a conclusion here, wouldn't you say?))

DaGlobster

[If anything, Swarm could leave, and then you could open this thread back up, perhaps skip a few days or something into the future? If you want, we could just do that timeskip idea, and I'll just throw in another of my own characters. It's up to you!]

Swarm watched Blodwen collapse. He didn't know if she was dead, or unconscious, but to Swarm, none of it mattered. They'd gotten plenty of Blodwen's hyper-rich pollen, and with it, the collective would reach new heights.

They turned and left, leaving the meadow behind them as they resumed their endless wander.

[Exit Swarm]

Ethereal-Star

((Sure, we can do that and you can bring in another character. The time skip is going to be a couple weeks though.))

Several days passed on by, a gentle breeze blowing, the scent of pollen rich in the air with a multitude of scented flowers all around the meadow--including a sleeping Blodwen. Some minutes passed and soon the flower nymph opened her eyes, yellow-orange orbs taking in the environment around her before sitting up, feeling quite refreshed now. While she had been helpful and didn't mind doing so, Blodwen decided that would be the last time she did something like that again.

She stood up and stretched, raising her peach-colored arms up over her head in doing so, feeling a sense of relief in the process. Breathing in the air around her, Blodwen smiled. It felt good to be restored back to full vitality. In the mood for a bit of dancing, Blodwen skipped merrily around the clearing, enjoying the feel of nature all around her as she moved sensually about, her hips swaying in tune to a melody only she could hear. It was a beautiful thing to be so uninhibited, and the flower nymph let this feeling carry her forward and through the rest of the day, for whatever it might bring.

Finnick was in a nearby clearing. He was playing his pipe for the animals in the forest. He was dancing with with a couple of raccoons and a young doe. A few finches tweeted along with him. He loved doing things like this especially with animals.

Ethereal-Star

The pink-haired nymph was partaking of some nectar from the flowers around her when she heard the sound of a musical instrument nearby. A pipe from the sound of it. And the most likely creatures who played pipes in wilderness settings were the goat-men called satyrs. Blodwen stood up and licked her lips of the remaining nectar, sending a silent thank you to the flowers for their generous offering.

Going over to the edge of her home as far as she could as the flower nymph was bound to go no further, she perked her ears to listen more carefully for the beautiful music she heard. Blodwen thought she caught a glimpse of a furry figure some ways from where she was standing but the trees and bushes over there partially obscured her view. She hoped whoever it was would come nearer to her little abode as she would most love to chat with them.

Finnick continued to play, being happy and the sort. He soon began leading the animals from the clearing that they were already in to a new one. This clearing was in range to the rose that had the nymph, Blodwen bound.

He continued to play his pipe, laughing as a couple more animals ventured into the clearing.

Ethereal-Star

((Just want to point out that Blodwen is a flower nymph or 'anthoussaii', and not a dryad. Dryads, or rather hamadryads, are nymphs bound to a particular tree upon their birth. While Blodwen is bound to the area, it is the flowers and not a tree that she is bound to. Just wanted to clear that up. :) ))

When the person came within range of her little meadow, the flower nymph saw it was indeed a satyr, playing his pipe for all the animals around him. Blodwen smiled and greeted a small doe as it made its way over to her, curious about this new person it saw and sensing that she was no threat to it. She cooed softly to it and petted the doe's soft brown and white speckled fur as the animal looked up at her with wide, innocent eyes.

Blodwen then put her hands on her hips as she waited for the satyr to take notice of her.

Greenery

The satyr continued to skip around until he saw the nymph. He stopped playing his pipe. The animals stopped and scampered back to their homes in the forest, no longer bewitched by the playing of the pipe. Finnick's right ear twitched a bit. "Uh, hi. Sorry if I disturbed you. Sometimes I get overly excited.

Ethereal-Star

"There is no need at all to apologize!" Blodwen smiled and put her hands on her hips, leaning slightly on one peach-colored leg as she looked the satyr over from head to toe.

"It is lovely music for certain. Please, continue with it."

Greenery

Finnick's ear twitched again as he walked back a bit before he decided to start playing. It was a slow, comforting tune that he played when others wanted to hear him play it. The satyr looked down at his hooves as he did a little skip.

Ethereal-Star

Blodwen listened to the music, thoroughly enjoying the soft, melodic sounds emanating throughout the meadow. Slowly, she lifted her arms up and began to dance, swaying from side to side in a sultry way as the satyr played his pipe.

Greenery

The satyr continued to play, his song becoming more upbeat. Finnick was becoming more and more comfortable with the nymph dancing around slowly. A few of the finches that were singing along with the tune back in the other clearing had now come back to rejoin the beautiful notes.

Ethereal-Star

Blodwen's dancing also became more upbeat as she began to move a bit faster, twirling around and around while swinging her hips seductively. As she passed by Finnick, she gave him an alluring smile his direction. Laughing giddily when a finch landed on her shoulder, tweeted happily at her and then flew off to sit on a branch while listening to the joyful music. The bird kept tweeting while swaying back and forth on its thin legs and slightly bobbing its head, others coming to join it in its merry song.

All the while Blodwen kept dancing, happy and content in this moment.
