Overview
The Order of the Knights' of Antiquity, or more commonly known as simply the Knights's of Antiquity. A holy military order unrecognized by the major churches residing in Serendipity and Connlaoth. The order was founded recently in the Serendipity province of Darken Vei by the current Grandmaster Ellenor the Adamant.

The order's purpose is to recover and safeguard ancient relics and significant artifacts. They occupy a formerly abandoned stronghold located in the mountains of the province's north. This stronghold was renamed the Divine Citadel and it acts as the order's headquarters to carry out it's mission.

To be sworn into the Knights' of Antiquity there is only one requirement and that is to pledge their allegiance to the order's mission. The order is spiritual opened minded and it takes prides in accommodating it's members wide range of religious views. Newly sworn in members are encouraged to take up vows to one of the various faiths in the world if they have not already. The Knights of Antiquity are not only religiously diverse but also in social status, and ethnicity.

  • Positions which are always open and can be filled by an unlimited number of characters are green and marked with an asterisk * like so.  Feel free to join these positions without approval!

  • Exclusive positions can only be filled by one character and require approval.
    All other positions are open unless noted! :D

Leadership

Grandmaster


  • Ellenor the Adamant

  • The de facto and supreme commander of the Knights' of Antiquity.

Lord Marshal


  • Open

  • The Lord Marshal takes his orders directly from the Grandmaster in his command of the Knights' of Antiquity's military branch.

Lord Cleric


  • Open

  • The Lord Cleric is responsibly for the Cleric branch in the Order. Answerable to solely the Grandmaster.

Lord Tradesman


  • Open

  • Lord Tradesman is in charge of the Tradesmen branch and all the responsibilities that comes with it. Answers to only the Grandmaster.

Military

Knight Commanders


  • A individual who has been knighted and has been promoted up from a knight lieutenant within the order. He/she is in charge of regional strongholds, outposts or command positions needing a present high ranking officer.

Knight Lieutenants


  • A individual who has been knighted and has been promoted up from a knight within the order. He/she leads a pre-determined group of knights and auxiliaries when needed by the order.

* Knight Paladins *


  • A knighted individual who has been recognized by the order for valor, honor, and loyalty in the service of the mission. Not outside the caste system but also not an official rank between Knight and Knight Lieutenant. Knight Paladins are individuals within the order that are meant to be aspiring examples for the rest to follow.

* Mageknights *


  • Same as a knight with only the sole difference of being able to use magic.


* Knights *


  • A professional fighter who has been granted a knighthood. A individual from noble birth or has attained the esteemed rank through merit. The order grants the tittle to members that prove worthy of knighthood if they are not already one.

* Man-at-Arms *


  • Man-at-Arms is a professional soldier (wealthy, mercenaries and all that manner) who are trained in the use of arms and well equipped, but not knighted. 

* Auxiliaries *


  • Auxiliaries comprised of peasants, commoners and the like to fill in secondary roles such as scouts, archers, guardsmen and etc. Auxiliaries are adequately equipped and trained by the order to fulfill their duties.

Civilian

* Clerics *


  • Clerics handle with the order's spiritual, and health needs as chaplains and healers. They also attend to the study and discovery of relics as scribes or scholars. As a final note also maintain the order's historical records as Archivists.

* Tradesmen *


  • Tradesmen take care of the order's physical needs from the blacksmithing, infrastructure, clothing, food, financial keeping, and etc.
