Books, shoes, clothes, food. Books, shoes, clothes, food.

Was there anything he was forgetting...? Children didn't need special...vitamins or diets or leashes or anything, right? This train of thought showed how much (or, rather, how little) he knew about children.

They probably made quite the pair, wandering into town. A girl in rags for clothes and Grimm in his funny hat and nicer clothes. Well, nicer, but they were still wrinkled and looked slightly dishelved. It was impossible to keep them looking nice when he traveled so much. It was amazing that they weren't dirty and torn -- wonder how he managed that?

He led her through the streets, stopping first into a bookstore to let her pick out what she wanted. If she left the choices up to him, she probably would have ended up with some very, very odd things.

(Ahhh! So sorry about the wait!)

The young Weather Witch trotted next to her new 'parent,' silver hair bouncing as she tried to keep up, orange eyes grave and adult-like as she gased in wonder around at the new world that she had just been introdused to.
Her name was Caniley, or Cani for short, and she had just been adopted by the very strange man next to her.
And she was amazed just by the road!
When they hit the city La'marri, she reached out and grabbed his long cloak to make sure they didn't get parted in this vast place.
Yes, she had a couple memories of a city, but she was very young, and now, almost 10 years later, this was amazing!

Yes, they did look a site, with their odd looks.
Man, a odd adult and an odd child.
No wonder they found each other!
Special diets?
Leashes?
Oh no, she's doomed.
That's okay actually, becuase while the famous Mr. Grimm didn't know how to be an parent, Cani had no idea how to be a kid.
Irony.

She just let him lead, winding ways through streets, solom faced with wonder.
This was so...
Their first stop surprised her.
A bookstore!
Look at all the books!!!
Never in her life had she seen so many, and she loved it.
Letting go immediatly, she plunged in, going directly to the very long winded astronomy, mythology, geologiy and other type books, pulling them out like they were Bibles and paging through them with awe written on her face.
"How many may I get, Mr. Grimm?"

Grimm looked down at her, nudging the brim of his hat up slightly. "As many as you can carry comfortably, I suppose." He would get her a pack to keep her things in, and so long as she was willing to carry it while they traveled, he didn't care how many books she carted along.

...An oddity that Grimm himself didn't seem to have a bag on hand seeing as he traveled so much.
