Aubrey: Thank you very much for the welcome! I'm still a little intimidated by the vastness of this world, and it may take some time until I find my way around (being shy does that to you  ), but I'm definitely looking forward to players. Hearing from someone else who is pretty new certainly is an encouragement! :D
Crono: Ooooh, pirate! Arrr, I be one of 'em! Which gives me an idea for a character, but no. Just no... an elven pirate? Are there even pirates in SotE? - And if you decide to take on an elf, I daresay I'll be open for play! As I will be for anyone else, I suppose. ;)
Anyway, thank you for the welcome!
Lee: *GLOMPSBACK* Tolkienfan, eeeh, awesome! As a rule, those people usually aren't losers, so you'll have a hard time making me believe that you are one. ;)
You were learning German? - wow... that's rather brave, it is one heck of a difficult language (that coming from a native speaker, no less) and mastering it that much is quite a feat! If you ever need any help, ich bin hier!
My pointy-eared ones? Many of them... I'm a Silmarillion fan rather than LotR (which is still one of the greatest pieces ever written), so my elves tend to come from that direction: MÃriel, Nerdanel, Amrod and Amras as well as Elwing have all been in my head rather frequently, but so did Galadriel, Elladan and Gildor Inglorion, along with a whole bunch of OCs from the city of Gondolin, and going into greater depth here might make the post a little too long. ;) I may end up playing one (or a version of one) of those, a dandyish Sinda writer-turned-fugitive called Heledir, he's by far the loudest voice in my head. I guess I'll put up a character profile for this version of him sooner or later.
*grins* A character of yours stole Anduril? Aragorn won't be happy, I guess. :D How did yours come by it?
Thank you for the welcome!
