It had been 3 days already and no sign of the two she pursued.  Frustration was catching up to her and also fatigue. Stopping to rest was not an option for her. The wind whipped her face as she jetted across the sky on her hovering craft, jacket flailing at the speed. Grumbling to her self, she pushed on, scouting the land beneath her. There as a town approaching. It was an old-looking place, dim and dreary. Her craft flew silently as she whisked across the sky, searching the streets. It was getting dark, it being evening already, and that frustrated her further.

When she began to drift of, she realized that she needed to rest, however much she hated to admit it. She struggled to stay awake, and it almost cost her, when she barely avoided collision with the side of a building as she unknowingly had descended below the rooftops. But this was going to cost her. Before she could regain control, she skidded along, scraping back and forth a bit until it all came to an end and she was flung from her craft and sent crashing into the street, tumbling to a stop. She coughed and stumbled to her feet before dusting off, the form of travel disappearing into the sky. The sound of chattering caught her attention, and she wandered over to the nearby building, avoiding the stares from the few people who saw her fall from above and pretending like nothing had happened.

It was a bar. She could smell the alcohol even before reaching the entrance. Sighing and coughing, she pulled open the door and stepped inside to the much drearier atmosphere and glanced at all the vocal citizens. She was a slender young woman, very fit and healthy from the looks of her. Her black hair was chopped short, and her pointed ears were littered with a few earrings. She wore a waist-cut jacket and shirt, showing her torso, and what seemed like uniform pants and boots. Then there was her matching black cat tail swaying behind her. Behind her head, at the base of her scull, there was what looked like an implant of sorts, a small metal object, flat and smooth against her skin, beneath the bottom of her choppy hair and half hidden by it.

She walked on in slowly, examining the people as she made her way to the counter. Her wake-up call was wearing off now, and slowly, she grew tired again, taking a seat beside someone and resting her elbows down, staring at the countertop. At a closer look, she was a bit beat up and she had a few tattoo-like markings on her body, concentrated near her spine above her pants. She took a deep breath and sighed quietly, trying to keep her eyes open.  This mission had not been going well for her at all.

Plenty of eyes were turned towards the new woman when she entered the bar. To many of the locals, she seemed fresh. Especially since she happened herself upon one of the more shady parts of Zantaric. No movement was made, but all eyes followed the black tailed newcomer to the counter. Her choice of where she decided to sit had caused a lot of the locals to revert their eyes and go about their business. Apparently, none of them wanted to bother with the effort for some reason.
One bold man found it upon himself to begin moving in. The burly man thought it was necessary to welcome the newcomer with a rough and extra friendly grope. So he inched close to her, slowly as to not gather her attention. Once he was close enough, he slowly moved his arms around the front of the tailed woman without touching her and stopped when he felt something metallic press against his temple. Without turning his head, the man turned his eyes to see a large, customized Desert Eagle pressed against his head.
The daring man traced the arm holding the marvelous gun to the woman, sitting next to the newcomer. All that was really noticeable about the woman was that her black leathered long coat draped over the view of the bar stool she sat in almost completely covering it. She had shoulder length dark blue hair that filled in what wasn't described as a shadow when looking at the dark woman from behind. She slightly turned her head towards the man so that the view of her sunglasses that she wore could barely be seen.
"Don't do that." She spoke coldly. Once the burly man knew what was going on, his eyes shot wide open and he fell back on his rear. His comrades in the background started laughing as she scampered back across the floor. Once the deed was done, the dark woman slid her gun back into its respective holster underneath her long coat. Then she downed a quick shot of her hard liquor she had in her other hand.

She ignored the staring eyes, too tired to make a scene just to voice her opinion. Maybe later… She lifted one arm up to rest her cheek on her palm as she started at the counter, her other hand swirling circles where a previous glass had left a condensation ring. She needed something to keep her awake a little longer. The problem was, she had no currency. This would prove to be difficult. So, for now, she kept quiet in thought, not very good thought in her fatigued state, but enough to keep her mind on something.

Normally she would have noticed the eager male, and done something in retaliation, but she was a space-case. It wasn’t even until she heard the woman’s voice that she blinked and peeked over at her. She looked her over with her curious, but very tired cat eyes. It took her a moment or two, same as the man, to follow her arm, though her gaze moving the opposite direction. Slowly, and almost dazedly, she turned, looking for where the hand was and wjat it was doing, the words ‘don’t do that’ echoing in her mind. “Do what…? she mumbled involuntarily, finding the gun, and the man attached to the barrel. She blinked again, more awake now and jumped just a bit, right into his cupped palm.

A soft gasp escaped her and she looked downward slowly at his hand, frustration and aggravation fuelling her. But before she could whip around, or even break the man’s hand, he’d already scrambled away. Spinning on the stool and now facing him, she blinked yet again, cluelessly before shaking it of and quirking a brow. “Don’t do what-now? she spoke, brow furrowing as she tried to put things into perspective. She was so tired, that everything felt wavy and muffled. She was a little dizzy now. “What…? she asked herself before shaking her head and turning to the woman for what looked like guidance, with the way she moved. It was very apparent that this catgirl was hopelessly lost.

After slamming her glass onto the counter, the 'cloaked' woman turned on her stool, resting an arm on the counter. She was now facing the catgirl. It was obvious that she was armed from the front. Aside from the usual attire, which was a tattered white shirt and black baggy pants to match black combat boots, she wore twin holsters at her sides for the Desert Eagles. A bit lower from the previous holsters, she had a pair of holsters, housing a pair of automatic pieces. This woman seemed very out of place.
"You lost, girl?" She asked while pushing her sunglasses closer to her face with her free hand, still sounding a bit cold. It was almost apparent that she was either a gun for hire or a mercenary. It was also very obvious that she had issues with the male sex. Especially the perverts. She hated nothing more than men who thought they could have whatever they wanted.

Violet feline eyes looked the woman up and down, her actions calm, though her pointed ears and her cat tail slightly exposed her curious nature. Finally, someone it looked as though she could relate with. Maybe this woman could help her. Realizing that she was staring, she blinked and tried to focus on the woman's eyes, barely able to keep her own open.

Just before she closed them for good, the woman's voice struck her. She blinked again, opening them widely at first and looking at her again. "Hmm...??" she replied at first before repeating the words in her head until they made sense. "...oh-um....lost...? hmmm...." her eyes drifted again and she sighed, thinking about it. ""...Y-yes and no..." Her voice was soft, tension floating in it slightly. Oh crap...what was she going to ask again??

"Um..." wow, she felt really bad having to say this."...Could you do me a favor..." she spoke quietly, almost in whisper for fear of embarrassing herself. "...I've...not money currently..." she frowned at herself eyes looking downward."...I would be in your debt..." she trailed off, feeling like she wasn’t coming off very well.

A moment or so after, a small mechanical creature skiddled in behind someone who opened the door. I noticed, it might draw a lot of stares. It looked like a turtle...and a crab...though it was strangely cute and harmless-looking. It was about the size of a small backpack and made its way across the floor, towards the catgirl and the mercenary woman. It approached the stool and hid under it, scanning the room with its lens-eye. She blinked, not expecting him to follow her. But he knew his user was in a vulnerable state and set himself to minimal protection.
