@Draconian The sudden 'landside' of the East Gate building in the ruins of Thaedes had just about every scavenger in the area digging. She was a bit miffed she didn't get first dibs, but she also liked to work alone. Too many people and creatures were enough to keep her back, but once night had settled, the diggers set off to bed.
She had remained atop of the remains of a stone bridge, safely nestled in a half expose arch way. She took this time to climb down the side of it, one stone at a time, before landing wtih a crouch upon the ground.
Nearing the area, she gave the place a look over, and having observed where most had been looking, she peered up towards the top of the pile and finished calculating just how she'd get up there. She returned to the bridge, and scaled it partially, to wehre she was high enough to step out onto the balcony of the building nearby the one that had fallen. She made her way across that,a nd up to the second tier roof, before slipping carefully down the side of it and staring into the open cavity of the once grand building.
Guilded framed paintings and mirrors lined the wall, too high and far ut of reach for scavengers to simply pluck on the first go. And without any flooring, not many dared tried to walk across it. After all, if half hte building had fallen away just hours before, who's to say the other half wouldn't follow suit soon? The scavengers were a needy bunch, but they were also smart enough to know when to stop so they could continue to live.
It was this awkward, creaking set of half foot thick boards that had her attention, and as she studied the structure, decided that, were the thing to have fallen, it would have done so already. And she was thankful she didn't weight much.
Securing her things across her back, she took the first few cautious steps forward. Not a creak or groan as her lips wavered into an uncertain smile. It seemed there would be no problem with them baring her weight. But it would be time consuming, and from what she could tell from the fancy remains on the wall, if any trinkets were left, they'd be worth a hundred penceworth, maybe even a half gold.
