If there are any problems with your character at any point, we reserve the right to ask for corrections. Don't be afraid, though. We're a laid back, stress-free community and SotE is open to all players.

CHARACTERS THAT NEED ADMIN APPROVAL
There are only a few character types that need approval before being played. They are:

• Leaders of canon nations (http://www.spiritsoftheearth.net/leader.php), if leadership positions are available.
• Time-traveling characters.
• Characters from different worlds.
• Gods.

Contact a staff member in these cases! Either fill out a profile to send to them, or just pitch your idea. We'll work with you to try to make it work!

SUBMITTING YOUR CHARACTER PROFILE

• Fill out as much or as little as you like and edit at your leisure. Profiles are intended to be living, breathing tools to chart character growth and development. If you want to submit a complete, fleshed out profile, that's cool! If you want to just slap a name on there and call it good for now, that's also cool! Do what works best for your creative process.

• Submit your profile to whichever sub-forum makes the most sense for your character. For example, if your character spends most of their time in Serendipity, post them to the Serendipity sub-forum. If they don't really have a home and spend their life wandering (or if you're just not sure), post them to Wanderers and Independents. Sub-forums are located at the top of the Character Directory (http://www.spiritsoftheearth.net/smf/index.php?board=156.0). Use your own judgment and go with your preference.

• Feel free to modify and add to your profile as you see fit! You don't even have to use our template! Get as creative as you like! If you use a template from a resource site, give credit where credit is due.

• The subject line of your character profile should be your character's name. Feel free to add a small description if you like!
