The sudden 'landside' of the East Gate building in the ruins of Thaedes had just about every scavenger in the area digging. She was a bit miffed she didn't get first dibs, but she also liked to work alone. Too many people and creatures were enough to keep her back, but once night had settled, the diggers set off to bed.

She had remained atop of the remains of a stone bridge, safely nestled in a half expose arch way. She took this time to climb down the side of it, one stone at a time, before landing wtih a crouch upon the ground.

Nearing the area, she gave the place a look over, and having observed where most had been looking, she peered up towards the top of the pile and finished calculating just how she'd get up there. She returned to the bridge, and scaled it partially, to wehre she was high enough to step out onto the balcony of the building nearby the one that had fallen. She made her way across that,a nd up to the second tier roof, before slipping carefully down the side of it and staring into the open cavity of the once grand building.

Guilded framed paintings and mirrors lined the wall, too high and far ut of reach for scavengers to simply pluck on the first go. And without any flooring, not many dared tried to walk across it. After all, if half hte building had fallen away just hours before, who's to say the other half wouldn't follow suit soon? The scavengers were a needy bunch, but they were also smart enough to know when to stop so they could continue to live.

It was this awkward, creaking set of half foot thick boards that had her attention, and as she studied the structure, decided that, were the thing to have fallen, it would have done so already. And she was thankful she didn't weight much.

Securing her things across her back, she took the first few cautious steps forward. Not a creak or groan as her lips wavered into an uncertain smile. It seemed there would be no problem with them baring her weight. But it would be time consuming, and from what she could tell from the fancy remains on the wall, if any trinkets were left, they'd be worth a hundred penceworth, maybe even a half gold.

The shirt didn't fit quite right but when there had been a set of clothes just sitting there, Sindri couldn't really keep himself from snatching them. There had been activity around here and he'd found himself curious and a curious wolf wasn't accepted as easily as a curious human. Having spent his fair share of time in villages and towns he knew stealing clothes wasn't exactly proper but... It wasn't like he'd carry around a backpack when he was totally okay with being naked.

Just that being naked wasn't appreciate by most people.

Movement caught his eye and he stared, watching some strange girl climbing. Maybe not a girl. Maybe some sort of climbing creature that looked like a girl, like he looked like a man.

Her scent interested him and he blinked up at her, giving a tilt of his head and following her from the ground. Then he lost sight of her and by then, his curiosity was too strong and he was thankful for the thumbs and finger's this form gifted him with.

It meant he could chase the interesting smells.

Sindri chewed on his lip - funny things that they were - and rolled his shoulders before he started to follow after the girl. Silent as ever. A true hunter. Ah, she reminded him of a mouse. Carefully he followed her, curious, following the trail she'd left.

Finally, there she was and Sindri grinned at finding his prize.

"What are you doing? You're awfully climby for a Little Mouse." Genuine curiosity was in his voice and he tilted his head and watched her move oh so carefully.

The girl let out a shrill yelp and nearly fell, teetering over and managing to catch herself on an opposing beam. She remained frozen for a moment, breathing heavily before she realized what just had occurred. And realizing someone was there, watching her, made her skin bristle in fear.

Gritting her teeth.s he kept herself secure against the support beam before lifting her head up, looking around but not seeing anyone anywhere.

"Hello?" she called out, voice echoing in the seemingly vacant, fallen building.

Not a little mouse.

She was a cat.

A fluffy little Kitten. All puff and teeth.

Sindri smiled widely, poking his head out to watch her better, giving a curious tilt of his head and he pushed a hand through his hair and got closer.

"Hello." His voice echoed too, smiling again.

"What are you doing with all the climbing? Did you lose something?" Sindri looked up, frowning slightly, "Do you sleep here?"

She managed to catch his smile, though it was obvious in his tone. Lost something? Was he a new scavenger? Carefully she positioned herself better on the beam. With a sigh through her nose she looked away from the man and towards her destination. And without saying a word, she stood up, caught her balance and continued towards the wall.
