Luminitsa had been ambushed. While inside her caravan she was relatively safe, with all the charms and protective spells that had been placed upon it, not to mention the magical contents within. One can't survive holed up all the time though. No, Philocrates goblins had caught her out and about. The foul things managed to stay down wind so she didn't catch there scent, until they had already began to attack that was. She was left with no choice but to shift into the wolf form she was granted by the magical ring she wore. She morphed into a large reddish wolf, the size somewhere inbetween the biggest natural wolf you have seen and a horse. With teeth like knives and claws as sharp as razors. Still she was no fighter, she simply lacked the natural instincts warriors had to possess. Not to mention she was a bit clumsy and lacked a lot of hand eye coordination.

She slipped away from the group of goblins towards her caravan just to find Philocrates himself waiting at her there, so returning to it wasn't an option. So she ran, with goblins tracking her towards Kentra. She hoped the city would give her some protection from the beasts that hunted her. The sun started to sink lower in the sky as she made it to the very most outskirts of Kentra, where she made the mistake of stopping.

She knew she couldn't just strut into Kentra in her current form, but she didn't want to switch back immediately, she was afraid. While the goblins were bad enough, if Philocrates had followed her as well, she knew she stood no chance in her true, human form.

Philocrates had been hunting her for years, ever since his brother Crete, had disappeared. A part of Luminitsa felt that Crete had been killed by his brother, but she didn't know for sure. Philocrates had been cordial at first, but once she had denied to gift him any of the rings she possessed, he wanted her dead. She had had to keep moving and fight off wave after wave of his goblins. If she had been at her caravan when the goblins arrived it wouldn't have been that big of a thing. Though she lacked the skill for physical combat, she did have skill when it came to magic. It didn't matter at that point though, she was nearly a full day's run away from all of her magical trinkets and protection. She had to slip into Kentra and blend in, hoping that the goblins would draw the attention of the guards.

She rested under a tree, her muscles aching from the run and from the minor injuries she had sustained when the goblins had first attacked her. Thinking she had lost the goblins miles ago she let her guard fall, stretching out of the ground.

"The Dark lord will be pleased when we bring him back her head... I wonder if it will stay like that once we chop it off," Luminitsa heard, waking her up, not realizing she had dozed off in the first place.

She looked up to see a goblin unlike those that had been sent after her before. The two monstrosities that stood before her were much taller than those that had come before them, and were more muscle than fat. She only barely managed to jump back enough to miss the falling axe intended to take off her head. Still, the goblins stood between her and Kentra, so she darted between them, earning a slash from a knife on her shoulder. She let out a growl, but kept going. Now that the two could track the smell of her blood, so it would be much harder to lose them. Her heart was racing in her chest, her muscles ached, and her new wound topped it off with a biting pain. She was running towards the setting sun, which made seeing a bit difficult. Still she ran as hard as she could, until rounding a bit of a corner she hit something, which turned out to be a someone. The impact sent Luminitsa flying with a bit of a whimper leaving her chest. Her eyes flickered to the man she accidently tried to trample. He was a large man, which explained why it felt like she ran head first into a tree. She jumped to her feet after a moment, that is when she smelled it. She hesitantly took a step closer to him ever weary of the fact he could strike out at her. The scent was undoubtedly that of a shifter. If the man himself wasn't one, he was very close to someone who was.

Quickly her attention was pulled away as she heard the goblins approaching. She didn't know if she had hurt the man, so she put herself between the oncoming beasts and the man who was undoubtedly a warrior. If she was in her human form she would undoubtedly be laughing at how ironic that one was. If he wanted to turn tail and run, he would have a chance. She knew she wouldn't be able to hold them off for long, and even if she did manage to kill them, she would undoubtedly have some wounds to lick afterward.

She lowered her head and let out a deep growl, her teeth showing. If she had anything, she had intimidation on her side.
