Silbahn stalked through the night-darkened back roads of Reajh quietly, being careful as not to attract attention to himself. His velvet plodders slippers made not a single sound as he leaped from one bit of pavement to another, trailing his victim closely. Finally the man came to a stop, pipe smoke trailing behind him and being carried off by a soft, whispering breeze that had been coming in from the north all night. The man Silbahn was stalking was a portly man to say the least, and would never put down that accursed pipe of his. He had a lack of hair, and a chubby, rodent-like face. His clothes were and eye burning clash of colors that could not possibly be a desirable fashion statement to even the oddest of beings. After taking these few short observations, Silbahn decided this was definitely his target. The high Lord of Grey-Stone keep, here on what he thought to be a simple meeting with one of his whores. Little did he know that his whore would not be arriving tonight, Silbahn had made sure of that earlier.

With a final deciding thought, Silbahn leaped forward, a blade flashing out into his hand clumsily. Any who looked close enough would know he was not a trained assassin. Just a soldier sent out on a task that was common during these times. Silbahn came down on the mans back like a beast pouncing on prey. Rolling him over and slinging his blade down at Sir Grey-Stones fat neck. The blade made a deep gash as it penetrated the various layers of skin, eventually penetrating down into the jugular. After he was sure the man was dead, Silbahn yanked the blade free from the mans throat, wiping the blade clean on a cloth at his hip.

Finally he sheathed the blade, and began rolling the man back into the darkness. After the body was properly hidden he took off into the night, sprinting as fast as he could to the inn where he would stay until the sun bringing of the morrow.

After a long, exhausting run he arrived at " The Badgers Burrow " running quickly through the loud common room and up into his sleeping quarters. He stripped down to his small clothes, washing his garments off in that porcelain washbasin. Blood floated around in the water almost beautifully. After all traces of evidence were gone Silbahn fell back into his goose-down bed. Not bothering to cover up with the thick blankets that the inn-keeper had laid out. He could hear the dulcimer drums and numerous horns playing down below, and indeed he was missing out on quite the show. Bloody hell, surely no one could know im the one that has done it, hes not even that important! Ill be gone on the morrow anyways so no matter. He thought to himself, and it was true. Tomorrow he would leave the city on foot to meet up with the rest of his regiment who were all camped outside of the walls so as not to raise alarm. With that final thought he drifted of into the deepest, most peaceful of sleeps.

Silbahn awoke that next morning to a broad strip of sunlight glinting across his face. The golden beam nearly blinded him as he sat up in his bed and made his way over to the washbasin. As he approached it he gawked openly at it in horror. Someone had changed out the water from the night before! He quickly threw on his clothes and boots. Stuffing his plodding slippers into his knapsack along with a few other items. He was soon out in the hallway of the inn that led down a single flight of ash wood stairs. He jumped down to the bottom and entered the common room.

As he walked towards the stout wooden door that led out onto the streets he bumped shoulders with another individual, causing a gasp from the person as they fell onto their rear. " Bloody hell! Bugger me if you don't watch where you're goin' off to! " Silbahn roared. He quickly regretted it. If he had not drawn attention to himself before, he certainly had by this point.

With a sigh he reached down to help the person up.
