Physical Description
A lithe and agile man, with a perfection to his body he doesn't deserve. But he was born that way, all sleek of muscle and handsome of face. He has strange eyes, a bizarre mixture of human and reptile, with rich, deep blue hair cropped short enough he is able to spike it up and hold it back with the traditional head band of his people. Well.. except for the traditional birthlock he keeps braided with leathers and beads. His kind never cut this section of hair. It's a bad omen, a symbol of death.
His eye brows sit shaped and sharp, at an angle above those strange eyes that are framed by long lashes. He is clean shaven- though his kind do not grow facial hair, or much other body hair, for that matter.
He wears vibrant silk clothing, mostly bright blues, as dictated by his birth. He has many ear piercings that are gold, in fact all jewelry he wears is gold- from the ornate bands upon his wrists and ankles, to the layers of garrish necklaces dangling from neck to navel. This helps bring out the blues and golds of his unique eyes.
Another notable feature are his fingernails, which are bluish in color and look a bit like claws.
Oh, and if you get him extra angry, blue dragon scales seen to glow beneath his skin. Occasionally.. even.. his nostrils flare with smoke and his eyes slit and glow like a feral reptile. But those are extreme times and reactions.
Some more unique qualities are his pointed ears and club tipped dragon tail. Naturally, his tail has beautiful blue scales.
Personality
Egotistical, rash, quick to temper, moody, selfish and a little naive - he has the temperament of a 'forever teenager' mentality. He feels he's invincible but has yet to run into any situation (that he remembers) that could possibly disrupt his perfect life.
In truth, Bluesong realizes he has much to learn about the world as the next person- not that he'll admit it.
He has a hard time hiding his emotions and confessing to them. But who would dare offend a dragonsinger? They are very prideful and often respected by dragons and beasts.
Magic/Abilities
Bluesong is a dragonsinger- and more specifically a blue dragonsinger. This means his spirit is in tune with the blue dragons and he has an innate connection to them. Too bad those residing under the care of the dragonsingers got slaughtered.. and Bluesong can't remember a single detail of what happened.
Without this connection to the bluedragons he feels a part of him slipping away...
Yet out there is a calling.. a pulse... directing Bluesong towards a land of snow.
Dragonsingers share a natural ancestry with dragons. They're spiritual beings of the mortal plane. Yes, they can die- but it's not very likely. Because if this, they are less likely to sire children. The only way he can ever have children is that he'd have to 'will it to be' during mating. But Bluesong adores his life as it is.. why change that? Children are needy and steal HIS attention away.
Dragonsingers can find harmony and balance in the 'breaths ' of the world-
They can use energies and resources all around them- but at a cost.
For example, if Bluesong were to conjure fire, something would become colder for it as he'd be removing their energy.. their source of heat.
Dragonsingers are also nigh immortal- they're very hard to kill. It's not impossible... you just have to figure out their weakness.
They also never sleep. What's the point? Sure they can relax, but if Bluesong even wanted to sleep- he'd have to be unconscious.. or, give his 'awakened ' energies to another. That's right- dragonsingers can 'gift' their abilities to others. But Goodluck getting them to share.
Be careful injuring a dragonsinger- for this reason- they will naturally draw out the life force of other things- grass, trees, people.. in order to survive. It's like second nature to them and takes a lot of energy to resist pulling in that life.
Dragonsingers also have dragonbreath, which only amounts to 'blowing smoke' unless they draw out the necessary energies from their environment to 'breath fire '.
