Title: I don't have a drinking problem 'cept when I drink. [open!]
Post by: Rhindeer on December 27, 2014, 02:53:38 PM
When Faris woke up that morning, she found she was naked, dressed in naught but her smallclothes.

She had also, apparently, spent the night in an alley.

With a groan, she rubbed at her achy head and squinted her eyes, the early morning light way too bright. For a few moments, she didn't even notice her state of undress--but when she did, she sank her face into a hand with yet another groan.

Guess I lost.

All she really remembered from the night before was that she and a group of her fellow guardsmen had been playing at cards, as they sometimes did, when Aminah suggested they raise the stakes by betting articles of clothing--and Faris, drunk off her ass at that point, fully agreed! Because as they all knew, she made Good Decisions while drunk. She also vaguely remembered buying everyone several rounds of drink she couldn't actually afford?

Which was why she was now out of clothes and out of money.

"Oi..." Why did people let her drink again?!

Probably because of this.

Looking around her, hoping for some sign of her lost clothes, she grumbled to herself and tried to map out her best course for getting home in the least embarrassing way, but all routes lead out into the busy streets.

She knew this because it had happened before.

Kaadir balls.

And she hadn't yet realized it yet, given she had no mirror, but her dear friends had really upped the prank by drawing a mustache and big, caterpillar eyebrows on her with kohl.

Faris wasn't the only one having a bad morning. Ever since he'd 'left' the thieves guild, Ayden Bane had already caused a stir- considering his disappearance most presumed it meant his death. Being 'alive' again made those who had celebrated the man's death pick up arms and peck at him like savage birds from the shadows.

And ironically, he had promised himself not to return to the city but well....
He had an addiction for trouble, what could he say? And as he rounded the bend in the alley way- cuts and blood all over his body, clothing nearly soaked in it and torn off, he paused a moment to look around as he caught his breath and- seeing how the coast was clear- pulled out a cigarette which he lit with his finger tips and inhaled the sweet, sweet smoke.

Exhaling, he kept himself propped against a wall, his bloodied blonde hair a mess about his face- which almost masked a sight from those steel-blue eyes of his, and a smirk cut across his face.

"Hello t'ere," he said, eyeing Faris's form as he took another drag and shook his messy locks from his face. "Care for a smoke?"

...So much for slinking home with some of her dignity intact.

Faris looked up at the man, noted all the blood, and couldn't even find it in herself to be embarrassed. She was too hungover to feel shame just yet, and could only let out a long sigh as she rubbed at her temples, wondering what Hakeshna would throw at her next to make this morning even more special. Oi. Never again. Never again.

...She said, for the umpteenth time.

Wrinkling her nose, Faris waved away some of the smoke smell. "Erk. I appreciate the offer, but...bluh. I don't think my stomach can handle it right now," she said, and blinked slowly at him, and how nonchalant he was.

About, you know, being covered in blood. It took a second for her brain to truly register that.

"Are you...uh...okay?"

He continued to wear the same grin as he looked at her, but shrugged at her question- tapping cigarette ashes aside.
"What? Dis?" He gave a shrug of his shoulders and partial jerk of his head, to gesture at his entire body. "What do you t'ink?" he said, choking on a laugh and smoke as he tried to grit back the pain.
"But if you must know, it does sting a little. But most cuts do."

Alright. So that had been a dumb question. But after a night of really dumb decisions, Faris was pretty sure a dumb question paled in comparison!

Bracing herself against the wall, she rose shakily to her feet. "And I thought my night was rough. Who did that to you?"

"Some people d'at want me dead." His grin grew as he looked at her. "But jokes on d'em. I might bleed, but I still live." He took another drag of his cigarette, remaining leaning against the wall for the same reasons as she, and here he took a nice look over her body. Then looked back to her face.
"Nice mustache." He released a puff of smoke. "Looks sexy."

Before Faris could remark on the whole people wanting him dead thing, he was commenting on her...mustache...?

Her forehead crinkled, and she reached up and touched just under her nose. When she glanced at her fingertips, they came away black.

"Oh, for Hakeshna's sake!" she said, and wiped at her lip more, but only succeeded in smearing it all around. "I swear, who needs friends when you've got enemies? Uh. Who needs enemies when you've got friends...however that goes! It's not important. Did you say someone was trying to kill you? Because if so, you came to the right place! I'm a soldier, you know."

And she pat her hip where he scimitar should have been--and then let out a loud sigh when her hand hit bare skin, as her underwear was basically a loin cloth with flaps in the front and back. Oh yes. She and Aminah were definitely going to have words.

At her soldier routine, his smile only grew along with the twinkle in his eyes.
"Soldier? D'at sounds kinky. Never had myself a soldier before. D'ough you might have t' shave, on account of me not being comfortable wi't us both having a beard."
And her's was by far much better than his own-f or it really was just a bunch of blonde scruff worn wildly across his face. But he always thought it gave him a nice rugged look to himself- and well, supposedly he was right.

Faris actually laughed at that, and regretted it when it hurt her head. Blurgh. "That's really quite flattering! Alas, but you are wounded, and I am nursing a hangover. I'm afraid it's just not looking good for the both of us, as far as carnal things go."

She tugged at her chest bindings, making a face. She tended to wear them under her work clothes when on the job, but wearing them all night? Now she just felt sore and uncomfortable, for they had dug into her skin in unpleasant ways. The least those fools could have done was undo those for her, too! With a look his way, she started to undo them.

"Pardon me, but I'm going to lose my mind if these stay on. Anyway, tell me about the people who are after you, hm? I may be out of commission today--day off, anyway, thank Hakeshna!--but we can start building a case against them and drop the info off to the proper authorities."

Faris, who was not at all prudish in the least--especially not when riding out the final waves of drunken fun--looked up at him when he didn't answer.

"Did you hear me?"

With still no response, Faris squinted against the light to find his eyes and trace his gaze...

And when she realized what he was staring at, she placed both hands over her breasts and then watched him expectantly.

Faris let out a laugh that made her head throb which, to the man's luck, got him a good look at boob as she raised her hand to her temple.

"They're just lumps of fat. Some heavy set men have them, even," she said with a smile, watching him. "Now if you're going to look, let's try talking and looking. Can you multitask like that?"

"Follow? Were we going somewhere?"

His eyes were still glued to her tits.
"A brothel, maybe? Or some place dark. I don't care." Then he finally lifted his gaze to her and gave her a crooked, half toothed grin.
"I t'ink anywhere w'it you is fine. So long as no one can find us."
He was bleeding after all. But still, he was a lot more interested in her breasts than trying to heal himself, or even get away. IN fact, only mentioning it now- it was in a casual way, as if he weren'tin any sort of hurry. His eyes were feasting- so might as well let 'em feast!

Somewhere through the haze of her throbbing headache, it all clicked into place. Faris blinked at him, eyes owlishly big, before a blush spread across her cheeks. A blush that was quite at odds with her state of undress.

But, well, her mental skills weren't exactly at their peak anymore when she was hungover than when she was drunk. The difference was, drunk she was impulsive and rowdy, and hungover she was just slow.

"...Are you propositioning me?"

Luna was happly flying around the town, she loved to do that to Erynor, everytime they reached a new city she would fly off on her own as a form of hide and seek, surely he would go crazy looking for her, and this funny thought made the fairy laugh, a mute gesture since she could not actually speak.

She looked around everywhere, fascinated by everything she saw, Luna had a curious, innocent mind and pretty much everything seemed wonderfull to her.

She flew a little above the houses and buildings, to avoid draggin too much unnecessary attention, Erynor always said "if you don't look for trouble, trouble wont find you" or something like that, she never really paid much attention to his lectures. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sight down her, she stopped cause there was the perfect opportunity for a prank! Two people standing on an alley, apparently talking, distracted, oh this was going to be good.

The little fairy made herself invisible and swooped down into the alley.

"...Are you propositioning me?" She heard, even though she did not really knew what that meant, then Luna simply moved her hands a little bit and conjured a dozen of rubber balls to fall above the woman head, it would not hurt her but would surely be surprising"

Before Ayden Bane could reply, something quite peculiar happened as he watched as a series of tiny, little bouncing balls rained upon the womans head. Though the only indication he was surprised was the slow rising of his brows as he looked up, around, and down all around them. But he saw nothing in sight as he thoughtfully puffed away at his cigarette, smoke coming out through his nose.

And then there were balls.

Balls raining down on her, bouncing harmless off her head and shoulders and rolling down the alley.

And Faris just stood there, blinking slowly, wondering if maybe she was still drunk, though that had been just alcohol and she hadn't ingested and hallucinogens! She watched the balls bounce and roll, blinking slowly, dully, and thank Hakeshna they had been small and soft because her head certainly couldn't have handled more! Even that made the throb increase a beat, skipping to an angry tempo of pain.

With a groan, she covered her eyes with both hands and massaged her temples.

"...Tell me you saw that, too."

The small fairy could not stop laughing from her invisible position, those faces, trying to understand what was going on, Luna loved that, after all he had a playful nature, and felt curiosity towards everything, she had her share of fun bu now she wanted to introduce herself

"I didn't know it could rain marbles. D'at some kind of ability of yours or somet'ing?" She heard even though she could not completely understand what people said, then she remembered that Ery once taught her that simply appearing as a fairy could make people scared, and we did not want our new friends to get scared. Thinking of that, she assumed the form of a yellow cat, after all, everyone loves cats, and after becoming visible again she teleported herself to the space between the two, floating about the same height as the woman head, you know, all typical cat stuff

"Quickly, act like a cat, Luna!" She thought to herself and began to lick one of her pawns.

Ayden bit into his cigarette, smoke drifting off the end as it glowed red. It was hard for him not to stare. Not only was yellow an uncommon color on cats, this one.. was well... floating.. Shifting the cigarette, he looked over at the woman.

"D'is one of your tricks, too?"

"So it's not just me seeing this." Faris pointed at the cat, her finger following it as it floated. "I'm not losing my mind here, right? Because no, I'm not doing this! I don't have any tricks! I mean, I do, but nothing like this!"

Now that Luna was finally taking a closer look at the situation, everything seemed a bit odd, the two of them did not seemed to be very pleased to see her, instead, they seemed to be having a small discussion that she could not quite understand, maybe they didn't like cats?

But then she looked at the man and a needle of despair flicked her tiny fairy heart he was covered in blood! Luna could not whistand seeing people in pain, and oh my god, that man was certainly in great pain! So she flew over his direction, a weak glow covered her body as she assumed her fairy form back, a small glowing being that measured no more than 3-4 inches

"Help?" She asked to the man, pointing one of her tiny fingers towards his head direction, one of the few words she learned to say so far. she was floating about the same height as the man's head

First a floating cat, then a ball of light? Curiously, Ayden tilted his head to the side as he studied the flying ball. But after a moment, when his eyes adjusted to the glow, he noticed it was a tiny creature and he smirked, a few pieces of ash dusting off the end of his cigarette that now drooped a bit from his lips.

"Now a fairy?" he could have laughed, but the laughter was evident enough in his eyes. He then noticed she pointed to him, and he raised his brows slowly. "Help?" he repeated, not sure what she meant. It seemed, despite being obviously covered in fresh wounds, for some reason- he paid no mind to them. It wasn't that they didn't hurt- for they hurt like hell, but it was more or less just the way he was.

He was Ayden Bane after all- and for those that did know of him- this sort of thing came to no surprise.

Puffing away at his cigarette, he mused over this predicament before removing his cigarette to blow out smoke.
"So is d'is one of your tricks?" he asked the woman again, eyes still glued to the floating little  lady of light.

"I told you! I don't have any tricks like this!" Faris said, gesturing emphatically at the floating light that was making her temples ache. Despite the ridiculousness of the situation and the pain in her head--or maybe because of it!--she started to laugh, unable to help it.

"I don't know what's going on but I'm beginning to become convinced you're doing it to mess with me! Shame on you, taking advantage of a hungover woman. Shame."

Faris stared at him a moment, his comment bringing her back to more pressing matters than floating cats and lights.

"You really do need to get that taken care of," she said, concern creasing her brow. "Come on. I know a killer healer. Once you're patched up, I want you to tell me about whoever did this to you. We'll make sure they don't do it again."

And then she scrunched up her face. "Uh, we as in me. Me and the other guardsmen and soldiers and all."

Luna watched as they continued a small discussion, she followed with her head everytime one of them spoke, she was a bit confused about what they were saying, she did get something about tricks and a killer healer, which sounded odd to her, why would a healer kill someone, he was a healer!

Healer! Thats rightm she needed to heal those bleeding wounds, she didnt quite understand if he actually needed help, but that seemed like it hurt a lot so she decided to take action.

Luna brought her hands together towards the man and began "singing" her healing song. She wasnt actually singing but her actual voice sounded like multiple small bells ringing harmonically, a small glow would cover the wounded areas and heal him in a matter of seconds.

The tinkling noise was enough to garner his attentions, but what happened next when pocks of light seemed to blossom out from his skin from seemingly no where. And damn was it itchy. And when he went to scratch it, it only took a few good ones before he paused to realize-

"What d' hell?" And lifted up his shirt. Thought the blood stains were still there- even some of it still fresh, the cuts..

They cuts were completely gone.

Ok, the healing was sucessful, and the two of them now seemed to be actually paying atention to her,  which made her excited, he said something while looking to her, she didnt understand, but he was probably just thanking her. "Luna luna!" She said, smiling. Then she conjured a small strap of cloth for him in case he wanted to clean himself up.

She then turn around and flew towards the woman, circling her body a few times before stopping in front of her.

"Luna luna!" She said, pointing towards herself the way she used to introduce herself. She realized something, the woman was naked, was that normal stuff around here? Feeling curious, Luna pointed towards the woman boobs "Naked?" she said with a confused expression.

And there was no ignoring that migraine-inducing ball of light when it began to zip around, hurting her eyes as she followed its movement--and spoke.

...Ehhh?

And she was still slowly processing that, her achy mind putting it all together that this was a talking bug or a spirit or a little person or something, when it came to a stop in front of her and...

Pfffft.

Faris barked a laugh, loud and sudden and splitting to her ears. "Ahaha, ow, ow! Uh, no. Not naked. Half-naked," she said, and idly thought she should probably do something about that.

"Well, I'm certainly delighted you think so," Faris said with a snort. "Though I really probably should stop standing around with everything hanging out and actually...find some clothes."

She let out a sigh. While she let most things roll off her like water off a croc's scales, and while not much mortified her, that still didn't mean she wasn't going to murder her buddies for this later!

Looking again at the odd light, she began to sidestep away from it. "And probably get some bread in my system. Hakeshna...here's hoping I don't hurl."

"We're in Essyrn. Not every one wears clothes." But he smiled none the less and kept his eyes upon her while his cigarette continued to release a leisure, dancing line of smoke.
"But bread..." he removed the cigarette and flicked the ash aside. "Bread and beer is just about everywhere. D'ough I'm not sure if it would be wise for me to accompany you.."
Because despite whatever the little light did to him as far as healing, he still was a wanted man, with a high, high bounty on his head.

"But d'ats not to say I couldn't escort you somewhere."

"Now that is some nasty business..." He said dragging his knife slowly across the homeless man's face while observing the coat he had. The alley was empty and no sound rushed through it despite the sound of people talking in the next alley over. With a quick and effective picking up of the now corpse Valyn buried it in trash and stood up again, wiping his hands together.

"Dreadful, that was." He straightened his coat and discarded his sheepskin gloves before beginning his route back to his workshop. Along his path he looked left... and he looked right and he- WHAT???

Valyn ran up behind the girl draping her in his overcoat, leaving Valyn in only a finely made vest.

"Dear lord girl! Here." He wrapped his coat around her.

Valyn took a step in front of the woman, covering her from view," What are you doing, sir?" Hands gestured in a foppish manner," Allow this woman to cover herself... you should be ashamed, sir." He turned again to the woman," Are you alright, dear?"

Ayden just stared as the man went about to make the woman decent. And when asked as to why he allowed this to go on, Ayden's lips sagged into a frown around his cigarette.

Faris was about to reply to the man when, suddenly, there came the sound of pounding footsteps and a horrified exclamation. Faris turned to look, carefully so he head didn't swim--and just about leaped from her skin when some guy threw a coat over her shoulders while fussing away!

"What--hey!" she said, his voice making her head throb, and she whirled around to face him--and nearly sicked up all over him. She paled, covered her mouth, and swallowed hard against the urge to puke, and she didn't open her mouth again until it had passed.

Oh boy. More attention. Couldn't just quietly slink away, of course.

"Yeesh, man, you nearly gave me a heart attack! Do you normally pounce on people like that?" she asked as she pulled the coat shut. Hey, she could accept it and complain about it! "Whew. I'm fine. Just drank way too much," she added with a shrug, as though that explained everything. "You know how it goes."

And he inhaled a nice long drag from his cigarette before exhaling the reply, "Water."

Faris waved away the smoke blowing her direction. Drinker she might be, but she'd always hated the smell of smoke!

"I can definitely get behind that," she said, rubbing the side of her head. If she wasn't already past the drunk stage and nicely settled into a hangover, she might have thought that whole coat exchange was just her being...drunk. Wasn't everyday someone gave her their coat and promptly peaced on out! Not that she was complaining in this case, but man. This day was weird.

"Whatever the case may be, seems this place is an unexpected hot spot so let's get a move on. My brain's not really caught up just yet, so you know any places?"

"I know some places, yeah, but it might be wise t' go elsewhere. D' people d'at fucked me up real good would search in d'ose places first." Chewing on the end of his cigarette, he caught the top of a temple to Hakeshna.

"How about d'ere?" A lot of people always raved about the peace the temple offered...
And if it was one thing the pair needed most in the moment- it was peace...

And also seclusion from any more wondering eyes or more strange happenings that were afoot!

Faris squinted her eyes in the direction Aydan pointed, the light hurting them and making her head throb--and when they focused on the temple through the blinding hurt, she looked away again.

"The temple. The temple is good," she said, nodding carefully. "Good, and quiet, and peaceful. And if we're lucky, we may be able to beg a meal." She looked down at herself, and pulled the coat in tighter. "It'll also be a nice place to hide for a while, get some proper clothes."

Taking hold of Aydan's arm for balance, she started to walk, wincing as her bare feet stepped on stones. "I'm going to have to get Aminah back for this. Justice will be served, and it will be served cold! Or is that revenge? Oof, something like that."

Not normally escorting a lady (unless it was to his bed, or other places to fuck..), he gave her a grin and bit into his cigarette and lead the way. The massive doors in the front were open, and two priests stood out front and called a soft blessing to them as they passed. Ayden only smirked through his cigarette, whihc caused a wafting of smoke to filter through his teeth, which he soon exhaled through his nose as he took a few steps into the temple and had to pause-

Because there in the center of the thing was the biggest damn statue he had ever seen. And it was of a naked Hakeshna! Or.. to be more precise, a naked female twisting around her male counter part.

He gave a tilt to his head and asked, "D'at's d' biggest dick, breasts and vagina I've ever seen." His head titled just a little more. "Are d'ey having sex? Or tryin' to? Cause d' man's aim is a bit off."

Faris, who was quite used to such statues, turned her head slowly and lifted an eyebrow just as slowly. "They're dancing," she said with a snort. "A very passionate dance, yes, but a dance nonetheless. Do you foreigners think of nothing but sex? And put that out!"

She snatched the cigarette from his lips. "It's disrespectful. This is a house of Hakeshna!"

As she sniped his cigarette, he blinked and let the remaining smoke out through his nose.
"How is it d'is respectful if I don't believe? And Hakeshna has a nice house."
And he looked around, curious if there might be something valuable to steal and noticed a small sculpture of Hakeshna's snake form with two red gems for eyes and tapped at the gems to see if they were lose. Well, whoever embedded them at least made sure they were secure. It'd actually take a bit of effort to loosen them out of there. Thankfully, he seemed to have magic for just about every occasion, but before he got a chance to even try anything out, a priestess, barely wearing a thing (though compared to Faris's birthday suit from earlier, it was actually quite a lot more...), approached them with welcoming arms.

"Welcome to the Great Temple of Hakeshna." And she held up a palm sized bowl of oils and pressed a thumb into it and moved to press the oil between Ayden's brows, as the man blinked while the woman waved her hands over him in some sort of hypnotic fashion. Though she had nice tits, so he could only stare at her waving for so long. But soon the woman was turning from him and doing the same to Faris.

"What brings you all to our Temple? Perhaps you seek the aiding words of our Goddess?"

Faris sighed, ready to launch into an explanation of just exactly why it was disrespectful and also how could he not believe? But they were both saved when a priestess approached them, which thankfully distracted Aydan enough that he stopped poking at things! Really! Must he be so touchy?

She closed her eyes when the woman anointed her brow, and she dipped her head reverently.

"We seek assistance, holy one," she said at last, ignoring the way Aydan was basically drooling over the woman's breasts. She was seriously going to have to give a lecture on respect here soon, but not in front of the priestess. "My friend here--" It was easier to say friend than offer an explanation, and anyway, it was sort of true? "--is a bit banged up, and I, uh..."

She cleared her throat and adjusted the overcoat about her shoulders, shuffling her bare feet sheepishly. "I could use some clothes."

The priestess looked between them, one thin eyebrow arching, but she politely refrained from comment. Instead, turning gracefully, she motioned them to follow. "I'm sure we can do something for you."

It was only then Ayden snapped out of it and studied the priestess for another moment.
"But if d'at's too inconvenient, we wouldn't mind a private room."
And his smile said it all. After all, she was already undressed.... why waste that? And if the priestess wanted to join in...
He was never against a threesome, or even an orgy.... if any other sisters were so eager to explore lust and sin.

"That will not be difficult to arrange," the priestess said with a smile as she lead them down the hall. "You can wait in this room here. Please, refresh yourselves, say your prayers--" For it was almost time for noon prayer! "--and relax while you wait. I'll see about having fresh clothes delivered to you."

If the priestess caught his meaning, she didn't show it. Or perhaps she simply thought the two of them were lovers. But whatever she thought, it was clear she wasn't staying, for she turned with a bow and strode off toward where she'd come.

Faris, however, had caught his meaning loud and clear, and she gave him a dry look. "Really?"

And when he caught her look, he simply grinned.
"What? We got a room all t' ourselves. It'd be a shame t' waste it. Besides, I t'ink you'll only enjoy spending d'at time wit me." And his smile only grew bigger.

"This is a house of Hakeshna!" Faris hissed, even as her face heated. And sure she knew about the services many of the priestesses offered, but still! "And you're--!" She lifted her arms, and let them fall back down. "You're in no condition to do anything so strenuous. Look at you. You've covered in blood. I don't think you can spare anymore."

At her worry, his eyes only brightened as a smile consumed his face.
"D'is?" he went on, gesturing to the blood. "D'at strange creature t'ing helped w'it d'at, remember? D'ough d'ey still feel tender. But d'at don't matter. I like what I see, and I'd take pain with my pleasure over none any day." He still grinned. "Besides, I can only guarantee you'll enjoy it yourself. I heard its a good cure for a hang over. And besides, no woman has ever been left unsatisfied from d' bed of Ayden Bane."

Faris smiled sweetly at that, and pat Aydan lightly on the shoulder. Patronizing. "The problem is, this isn't your bed."

And then she walked on over to it and took a seat, coat still wrapped tightly around her as she got all settled and leaned her back against the wall. And she made sure to sit right in the middle to take up as much space on it as she could. She let out a yawn. "You know what would really help me with my hangover right about now?"

He simply watched her, grin remaining. And when she asked, of course he answered, "Sex? I know d'at helps me."

He gave a shrug, grinning. "Its been a couple weeks." which was pretty long for him.

"Thought so. You can usually tell when a man's hit a dry spell. Sex is all he wants to talk about then." Faris rested her chin on her fist. "I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the problem isn't satisfying a woman when you get her in your bed, but getting her in your bed in the first place?"

"Oh d' contrary," he told her with a cheeky grin. "I love t' make a woman scream. D' art of d' female orgasm isn't easy, and to discover what makes a woman git satisfied is d' best t'ing in d' world. Sure, it's nice t' get a release out of it, but I love d' entire aspect of it. Sweat, mess and all."

"Yeeeah...that is pretty great, huh?" Faris said, and let out a wistful sigh.

"Still didn't really address my point, which is you gotta actually get a woman in your bed first."

Brukor was sitting at the tavern's counter, gulping down his fourth pitcher of mead that day. Or was it the fifth? The alcohol didn't help him remember, that was for certain. It had been a strange day for him, he had just arrived in this city, and he had spent all day looking for someone to help, someone that could give him a task. This isn't exactly what he had imagined when he first became an adventurer, he wished to slay foul beasts and thwart the plans of dark fiends, but alas, he got stuck in the process of finding a quest, and now he was here, drinking away his sorrow, hoping for something exciting to happen.

Maybe his hope was about to be fulfilled: a young boy was sneakily approaching him from behind, intent on stealing his gold. When Brukor noticed his satchel was missing, it was a tad bit too late, as the boy had already almost exited the tavern, but the adventurer wasn't one to give up that easily, and so he gave chase. The thief led him through crowded streets and slim alleyways, passing by merchants and commoners, who were dazzled by the sight of a huge, middle-aged man running after a young boy. The chase came to a halt in front of a temple of some god that Brukor had never heard of, not that he knew any. It was here where he had lost track of where the robber went, so he decided to enter the temple and look around, eager on retrieving his money.
