I checked out Ashton's profile earlier. It said that now he's traveling the world, so I decided to look at my menagerie from the perspective of what/who would be interesting to see or interact with. I came up with following ideas:
- There is a wonderful Palace of Fortune in Essyrn, where all kinds of games of chance are held. It's not exactly called a casino, since the word itself has Italian roots, and the language doesn't exist at SotE the way it does on Earth, but its function remains the same! It's ran by a guy with more money than common sense (http://www.spiritsoftheearth.net/smf/index.php?topic=25481.0) and is an exciting place to lose all of one's money- I mean, make a fortune!
- Also in Essyrn, I have another one (http://www.spiritsoftheearth.net/smf/index.php?topic=26089.0) who works in a bar and has a part time job as a guide showing new arrivals around. He'll make sure Ashton doesn't get pickpocketed :>
- As for other interesting people to meet, I have a lizard girl (http://www.spiritsoftheearth.net/smf/index.php?topic=25524.0) who's being worshipped as a goddess in an Adelan village. She's a spoiled idiot, but I think getting a visit from a vampire would flatter her so she wouldn't act shitty.
- Zantaric is a wretched hive of scum and villainy, but there is one (http://www.spiritsoftheearth.net/smf/index.php?topic=26111.0) being you can always count on! She may be the size of a modest hat, but she will help you fight off any evildoers!
- Far to the north of Hyoite at its somber horizon looms the Mistfloe glacier. Its west wall holds the castle of Gravenhall, a tomb of ice and melodies. The chambers of Gravenhall are haunted by a harbinger (http://www.spiritsoftheearth.net/smf/index.php?topic=26017.0) of wind of cold. While bound to Gravenhall, he was also noted to have appeared in other regions of Hyoite, and seems friendly to travelers and passers-by.

Hey there! Sorry for the short reply, but my time at the moment is limited. I will send a more detailed one tomorrow, though. Anyways, I think that the lizard girl looks pretty cool! Perhaps we could try her for this thread?

So, I had something I was going to say before, but I completely forgot it. I do have a question, though. Should we make it nighttime in the thread to avoid crispy vampire Ashton? Or, perhaps that could be one of the reasons he is interacting with the Lizard Lady, asking for shelter from the sun? Either or none of those could work, it's up to you.
I don't have a preference, both sound like good ideas. Which one of us would you prefer to start the thread?

I'm working on a post, and I wanted to inquire about a line in your previous post I had trouble understanding. "Ashton smiled at her, showing two rows of razor-sharp teeth" Should I take the two rows to mean 'upper row and bottom row', or does Ashton have more than a single row in his mouth, like a shark?
Upper and lower. Apologies if it was a tad vague/unclear, I tried my best. That was all I could think of without it seeming like a shark mouth, tbh.
Alright, I'm working on a reply. It seems to me that it's drawing to a close (as in, there could be a timeskip to let Ashton rest and have him continue on the journey) unless you wanted something else to happen?
