She was playing him, in some small way, and he knew it. Not telling her name was probably the best thing she could have ever decided to do. He knew it, and it didn't even bug him. He actually LIKED it, she had lured him in and she had stopped him from losing interest right away. While occasionally he liked things to be easy and for everything to be delivered to his lap, this was always a great change. Yes...change was very nice. Instead of doing things the regular way, he had done something completely different. He smiled to himself at that thought. Different. That's what was really nice about it. Some people feared change, they feared the world when it would succumb to fate and slowly become different. Not Alyxsi though...he was embracing change...heh...literally.

She had embraced change even more.

This young woman was full of surprises. She was talking so differently now, she was acting so...unlike she had last night. Perhaps she just needed a night full of passion, of lust and...er...love. He was hesitant to even think the word, but he just had to remember, it was his persona, and he could love something. It wasn't like he was a monster. "Mmmm, I suppose I could do that thing with my tongue again." His voice was low, his expression...very naughty as he grinned at her. It was as if in the middle of the night the woman had disappeared suddenly, and was now replaced by someone who looked like her, but didn't act like she had.

He...liked it.

They stayed in their embrace, nuzzling into her neck softly, just enjoying the closeness, enjoying the warmth, enjoying the light scent that hung on her body. It spoke volumes about last night, and perhaps he loved it the most. There was nothing finer than basking in the good aching soreness of a terrific night. Slowly though she began to stir, until she sat up, taking some of the blankets with her. Alyxsi slowly sat up as well, stretching his arms out and yawning largely as he tried to get his limbs to respond. Finally he was done as he looked to 'kitten' with a smile on his face. His smile disappeared into a grin as she asked if he wanted to join him for a bath.

"You don't have to ask me twice."

The bath, like everything else, was wonderful. Though, getting the hot water into the room was a little...difficult, the poor boy who was carrying the buckets and buckets of the heated water was blushing more than he thought possible. Alyxsi would admit, he didn't have to be as...exhibitionist as he was, but at least there was nothing too dirty going on. He had wrapped himself in a blanket with the young woman, occasionally kissing or tickling her to elicit a giggle from her, or a kiss in return. When the tub was finally full, the boy excused him as quickly as possible, and their bath could begin. He would admit, the only reason the bath had ended was because the water was starting to cool off.

He did however, feel a hundred times more rejuvenated from it. Just as dirty though.

If she was playing him, she didn't know it, though she couldn't say she didn't mean to. If she hadn't toyed with him a little, keeping her name, along with many other things a secret, they never would have gotten as far as they did. She had to put on her own sort of persona, be someone other than Asyel to allow him to get near her the way he did. She had to hide part of herself, keep some things secret from him to be able to expose other things (heh). And he had gotten a lot closer to her than she thought possible...not that she minded really.

A small, devious smile formed on her lips.

Though she had to admit, this all may have been very different from how she normally acted, but she was thoroughly enjoying herself. Last night had been one of the best she could remember and the morning almost as enjoyable in its own way. She liked the feeling of being able to let loose, no longer caring if she was doing something wrong or wondering if people were thinking badly of her. Alyxsi had been so patient with her, not giving up on her when she wanted to back out, correcting her politely if she made a mistake. And she was sure there were plenty of mistakes she made last night, but he helped her. She just hoped she could thank him...somehow.

Her smiled grew a little bit more.

She inhaled sharply at the thought of what he said, but not because she was scared. It was more a gasp of excitement, her body tensing slightly at the meer thought. She bit her lip, smiling up at him, both frightened and pleased with the smile on his face. It was a smile she had never seen on him before, but it worked just as well as his charming one at melting her heart. When she sat up, he followed, and she couldn't help but stare at him as he stretched. She didn't know what it was, but there was something beautiful about him, even with morning sleepiness all over him. She stared at him a moment after he was done yawning and stretching, loving all the different smiles he was using on her this morning.

They waited for a bit, curled together in a blanket while the blushing, young boy filled the tub. He was working as quickly as possible, but Asyel didn't mind the wait. She was rather enjoying herself. Alyxsi helped to keep her entertained as well, occasionally trapping her in a passionate kiss that made her head spin, or tickling her, making her squeak and giggle. Each noise the two of them made only made the boy blush more. In any other situation, Asyel would have been embarrassed to be sitting naked in a blanket with a stranger in the room, but Alyxsi's entertainment kept her mind from thinking about it too much.

When the boy was done filling the tub, he scurried away quickly, the blush still bright on his cheeks. The two made their way to the tub, and Asyel couldn't remember a time when she had ever enjoyed a bath so much. Even as the water cooled, the two were still enjoying themselves. But eventually the water got too cold, making Asyel shiver a bit, and she excused herself, Alyxsi quickly following behind. She grabbed a robe from the back of the door, feeling much cleaner than she had before. She closed her eyes, yawning as she clutched the robe around her. She smiled sweetly at Alyxsi, admiring him once more.

She looked around the room awkwardly. What now? She smiled sheepishly, a small nervous giggling escaping her lips. She didn't know where to go from there. The smile faded as quickly as it came, a small blush rushing to her cheeks. She felt the old Asyel, the one from before last night, start to come back to her. Her eyes traveled to the ground, just staring as she bit her lip. She stood there for a few seconds before looking cautiously back at Alyxsi. "What happens next?"

The success of the night was still with him apparently. She was still so open, she was still so different than before. He actually liked this strange side of her, and wondered just how much of her had actually gone through a transformation. She had been so nervous and so worried to eat in front of him before, maybe going down for some breakfast would be a good test to see just how much she had changed. If she could do all those things she had done last night, in only the span of a few hours of meeting him...then eating with him should be no trouble at all.

His comment had riled her up successfully, he was glad to know he could still coerce her with some dirty little comment that to them, they'd only really know. He had no idea that she was watching him as he stretched, that she was so fixated on him, but had he, he would have loved it. He was fine with his body, he was after all, handsome, though he did wish for a bit of muscle definition once in a while. Something to spruce up his look better.

Alyxsi was almost taken aback by how well she was handling this situation. Last night she had been so scared by him looking at her while she had fainted, and now she was standing in the nude, though wrapped in a blanket, with him, while the poor boy had to fill up their bath tub. Now she was giggling when he poked her, or swooned with his kisses as he planted them upon her, and there wasn't even a trace of an embarrassed blush on her face. Perhaps a touch different blush, but not embarrassment at least. All the ministrations he placed upon her seemed to stop her from becoming nervous. Strange as it was, he didn't mind at all.

In the privacy of their own room they had a bit more freedom to themselves, in the bathtub she was just as wicked as before. It had to take the cooling of the water to finally drive them from the confines of the bathtub. He followed suit with her, taking a robe and tying it around the waist. He felt a hell of a lot better after that bath, his sore muscles no longer aching and calling for a reprieve.

That when he could see the change...the smile leaving...the blush on her cheeks...Alyxsi knew full well that the old personality was trying to come back. He could only smile a little bit as he approached her, wrapping his arms around her stomach and kissing her neck softly. "Well, now we get dressed, and have some breakfast my kitten. I don't know about you, but I could use a refill on fluids. I wonder if they have any sweet juice." Alyxsi pondered that for a moment before placing another kiss on her. His arms left from around her waist and he approached his gear, which he had brought up to the room while she had been unconscious last night and pulled some clothes for him to wear. He picked a simple outfit, still regal with the blue and gold, and the apparent 'family crest' of the stylized eye over the heart.

"I hope...you don't mind but I got you some new clothes as well...that young boy was fortunate enough to know of a tailor that was open." He got the small pile of clothes out that he had folded neatly, placing it at the end of the bed. "I hope that they're to your liking my kitten, and that something fits...I saw a nice light summer dress in there that might be nice, and a rather elegant skirt and blouse."

She took a deep breath, trying to relax herself. She didn't know what she was so worried about at this point. All the events up to this moment had been more than perfect, only a few moments that she didn't really want to think about. She had been enjoying herself only moments ago, and now...now she felt like something was wrong or missing. She felt almost as if Alyxsi wasn't telling her something. Then again she had kept much from him, so it would only be natural if he were to have left out a few details about himself. Her body tensed at his touch, his arms wrapping lightly around her midsection, his lips kissing her neck. Her breathing shook ever so slightly with him there. And at the mention of food, her stomach growled angrily. She smiled up at him, accepting the kiss, returning it back to him. His arms left her, and she stood for a moment, her head feeling fuzzy from the kiss.

She cleared her head, looking over at the clothes he was talking about. Her eyes widened at the crisply folded dresses and shirts. She walked cautiously over to them, as if fearful that if she moved too fast, they would disappear. But they stayed where they were and a small smile being the only outward reaction towards the clothes. She picked up the summer dress, made of soft, grey blue, silk-like material. She held it in her hands, looking it over. She set it back down so she could undo her robe. She allowed the robe to fall to the ground before picking the dress up again. She put it on and it formed nicely to her delicate curves. She buttoned the back as far up as she could. She bit her lip, looking back at Alyxsi. "Umm...do you mind helping me with the last couple buttons?" She smiled shyly at him.

When her dress was all done up, she walked a few steps forward, keeping her back to Alyxsi. She stood there a few moments before twirling around. The skirt flared out around her, a huge smile on her face. She stopped twirling so she was facing him, her smile still there. She took a couple of quick steps towards him, wrapping her arms around him in a hug. She looked at him, kissing him lightly on the lips. "Thank you," she whispered quietly.

When they were both dresses and ready to go, they walked down the stairs to the lobby. Asyel grabbed onto his arm, walking closely next to him. She looked around at all the people, suddenly feeling self conscious. Some people were staring at the two of them, though most were to preoccupied with their own lives to notice. But Asyel couldn't help noticing all the eyes on them as they walked up to the front desk. She couldn't stand the stares; she felt like they were piercing through her. It took all her energy to stay next to Alyxsi instead of running back to the seclusion of their room. She squeezed his arm lightly when they came to the desk. He was there, not judging and not going anywhere.

They were all just players on a stage at this point in time.

Granted, they were rather great players, Alyxsi thinking he was better though. His guise had never slipped away, while hers was wearing thin as she tried to fight and keep her new self. Alyxsi was fascinated with both of the aspects of this mysterious, unnamed woman. Shy, nervous, withdrawn, and scared of him, disgusted even by him. Then there was this new woman, who was every bit the opposite. She was open and extroverted, she was attracted to him, she desired and wanted him, she was perfect really, a great match to him.

Every touch seemed welcome, she didn't just welcome them, she returned them in kind to him. That's what really got him. Every kiss got one in return, and he loved that. It was on her own free will too, it wasn't some trick either, it wasn't some hypnotic suggestion, it was of her own desire. She was still a little hesitant to accepting gifts it seemed, even though she really needed the clothes. Some people were just too proud, or just couldn't accept gifts for one reason or another. Alyxsi knew some of her reasons, like she couldn't pay him back, and he had already explained his position on that. Last night had been a rather wonderful pay back honestly, but it hadn't been his intention. She hadn't known about the other clothes till this morning after all.

He smiled as she picked a dress and slid it on, grinning at how well it fit her. The boy had done a very good job them. It accented her figure, forming and accentuating her curves. How anyone couldn't think she was beautiful was beyond him. "But of course kitten...but of course." He stood and moved to her, slowly doing up the buttons, smiling rather coyly to himself. How he wanted to take the dress off of her now, but they had...to get out of this room and get some nourishment.  He watched her as she walked away from him, then twirled to show off the dress. He whistled in approval, grinning at her as she came and hugged him. He looked down at her, his lips moving to kiss her after she thanked him. "My pleasure kitten, my pleasure."

Alyxsi didn't mind one bit as they left their private sanctuary, the beautiful woman holding onto his arm and walking so close to him. He could feel how nervous she was, and he couldn't help but smile at her. She was so precocious sometimes. As he led her to the common room, they were getting a few stares and looks, but he leaned down to whisper in her ear. "They're all staring because you're the most beautiful thing they've ever seen. I agree with them." He kissed her cheek gently before leading her to a table and seating her, then sitting down across from her. She was a beautiful woman, and with the sun from the windows pouring in, she had a supernatural beauty to her. Plus...those spots...oh how he loved those spots.

She felt like the most beautiful girl in the world right then and there. It wasn't just the dress, it was the way he looked at her, talked to her, acted around her. The world seemed to be moving in slow motion, freeze framing key points, points she knew she would remember for as long as she lived. She blushed when he whistled at her, only adding to her feelings. She didn't know how he did it, how he went from making her want to run away to completely taking her breath away. Not that she really minded in the least. It had been less than a day and she already felt more feelings towards him than anyone she had ever met. But was she going to tell him that?

They walked to the common room, she felt the good feelings leave. In the privacy of their room, she could hold her persona; it was only one person. But now there were dozens of people staring at her, and her façade was slipping.

But Alyxsi whispered to her, a few words, simple sentences. Her mind froze and her heart skipped a beat. She looked up at him, her face flushed bright red. No one had ever said that to her before. Some boys liked to shout things at her from across the street, but she ignored them, thinking they were just making fun of her. But his words sounded so true, so kind and gentle. She began to feel dizzy, almost as if she was walking on air. Honestly the only thing keeping her standing and moving forward was her grip on Alyxsi's arm. He led her to the table, where she sat down carefully, as if wondering if the chair really existed. She stayed quiet for a short while longer before a small smile appeared on her face. "Th-thank...you." It was a late response, and she blushed again soon after saying it.

She smiled at him, staring shyly, much like a teenage looking at the boy she had a crush on. In her eyes, he was perfect, always saying the right thing, doing things that made her head spin. She knew she should probably be cautious of him, should probably think it was an act. No one was perfect. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't make herself think anything wrong with him, any twisted thoughts in his head. If he was going after her for some...other reason, she would just deal with it later. At this point it wouldn't make a difference.

She looked at him a few moments longer before leaning forward. "You know, you have been very polite in refraining from questions about me. I am...pleasantly surprised actually. I just was wondering if there was anything, besides my name, that you really wanted to know." She was truly curious as to why he would hold back his questions anyway. Most people would be bursting at the brim with curiosity about her. Or at least that is always what happened. She hadn't talked to many people in her life, especially after the accident, but every time, people pushed her around to get information about her. But he had been...courteous. She stared at him for a few moments before an amused smile formed on her lips. She had given him a free ticket to ask questions. This was a once in a lifetime chance.

She just hoped he would be smart and realize that.

It was fun to compliment her really, she reacted so nicely to being complimented. And there was the blushing as well which just looked gorgeous on her cheeks. It reminded him more of last night, that flushed skin, the bit lip trying to hold back a pleasurable moan, he couldn't get enough of it! Alyxsi never would have thought that this was possible, that he could have gotten her out of that shell of hers so quickly. Last night had been an unexpected surprise, and so was this morning's bath. Now she was in a rather nice dress, and she cared what he thought about her, about how he acted toward her...which would be nothing but kind and caring.

He had to keep her out, keep her from slipping back into her original personality.

His little comment had gotten the correct reaction from her, she once more dove into a beautiful blush. They had been true words to her, he had meant them, she was the most beautiful one in here. Well. Next to him of course. Still he wouldn't tell her that bit, but they were both a beautiful couple. She almost seemed to be dazed, she was only walking because he was walking and she was holding onto him. She was eased into her chair, and he lowered himself to his chair. "You are quite welcome my dear." He told her softly, smiling at her with that classic smile of his. He couldn't remember the last time he smiled this much, genuinely smiled that was.

He basked in her gaze, just smiling and watching her back. He liked those dots of her, and he had found out she didn't have any more on her. A slight disappointment, but it hadn't made her body look any different in his eyes. He almost wanted to tell her things about himself, things that she should know...like he was really a pauper, and that he wasn't some noble. However that didn't seem like the best thing in the world to do, she wouldn't understand, she would probably...yeah, she would probably get quite angry with him. Telling her would be the bad thing to do. Still, he figured he should probably tell her a few things about himself, make some story up, make her feel like this wasn't all some weird charade, something that he had concocted out of sheer boredom. It had all started here too...just with a glance at him.

The woman whose name he didn't know, and probably wouldn't get to know today...she spoke and told him he could ask anything...except for her name. Alyxsi sat back in his chair, one hand on his lips as he thoughtfully looked at her. He tapped his lips as he thought, wondering what would be the thing to ask her. He couldn't ask her name, and he didn't want to seem like he was going to bother her with questions. "What's your favourite colour?" He asked finally as he leaned forward to rest his elbows on the table. "And...are you an elf? Those...spots on your forehead say no...but your beautiful ears do...like mine. I'm...a mix of many races...Human...Elf...Fae...and who knows what else. So I was wondering...what you might be."

He didn't want to become too intrusive, she was obviously very nervous about sharing things about herself, but he would be careful, and he'd be very...gentle. He wouldn't ask too many in depth things, like where she came from, or her name, not only because she asked, but because he knew she was using that against him. He loved that. It was terrific just to know that she was playing him as good as he was playing her.

It wouldn't have mattered that he was not a noble; in fact she probably would have been more comfortable around him if she had known he was from the same class she was. What would have mattered is that fact that he had lied. But she didn't know men sometimes lied to women, and even if she had known, she wouldn't have thought it possible that he would have lied to her. He seemed so sincere and true with everything he said, and though it did cross her mind every now and then that this was almost too good to be true, she quickly dismissed any thoughts of him trying to deceive her. He wouldn't. Not to her.

How could someone be lying to her with a smile like that? The smile that made her heart flutter and her stomach flip. The smile that made her smile like a poor little school girl, cheeks flushed bright red. The smile that had won her over in the first place. She loved that smile and the way that it could instantly take her breath away. She loved the way it could make even the worst of situations better.

His questions were...not what she expected. She figured something about her heritage would come up eventually, but he had also asked her about her favorite color. Odd, but she was willing to answer as many questions of his as she could...those that weren't too personal. She may as well give him something in return, since she considered last night to be a gift on both their parts. She smiled at him, a bit of confusion showing through. "My favorite color? Hmm..." She mimicked him by putting her fingers to her lips, smiling even more as she did so. "I would have to say," she looked into his eyes, as if confirming her thoughts to what her answer was, "Yes, definitely blue." A small giggle sounded from her lips. She felt much more relaxed, though much less like herself with him around. She liked it, but she was still unsure as to what was going on or what she should do.

The smile faded a bit when she went to answer his second question. "To be honest, I'm not even sure what I am. It was never really a question I asked my parents about, though I could only ever assume I was at least a little bit elf." Her hand went up to her ear subconsciously. "But these spots appeared after my parents died, so I never got to ask them what they meant." She looked down, still smiling slightly. She had always hated the spots on her face; they reminded her she didn't fit in. But every time he brought them up, she couldn't help but love the fact that they were there. He seemed so drawn to them, even if he had never really said anything. She could tell; the way his eyes wandered to them when he thought she wasn't looking. She wished he had picked something...else to be attracted to, something that she wasn't so ashamed of.

Oh well. Whatever kept him interested.

She smiled at him once more, a sly little smile. It surprised her how easy it had been to tell him. There was very little battle with herself. She liked that. She liked finally having the feeling she was trusting him, trusting somebody. She didn't want to sit there and play 20 questions, but she wanted to test how far her mind would let her go, how many things she'd be able to tell before it got difficult to speak anymore. "Anything else?" She raised her eyebrow at him, as if almost begging him to ask more questions.

He had never thought that his smile, just a simple smile could have made her stay with him so easily. He knew that he was good, but he didn't know how good. If she had told him about it, he would be grinning like an idiot. He had his things that kept her attached to him, and she kept him interested with her own little things. Her spots, her body, her personality...they all kept him interested. There were many things that could keep him interested, and many things that could make him disinterested. However, she had found the balance...even after giving into him last night, he was still very excited to stay around with her.

Alyxsi watched her carefully as she began to ponder his question. He did want to know her favourite colour, if he was going to get her some new, properly designed clothes for her. He didn't want her to be going around in clothes that weren't her colour. She stared into his eyes, and he could only gaze back into hers. She was going to say it. He just knew that she was going to say it. "Blue? Oh I knew you had excellent taste." His attire was a lot of blue, hell, his hair, his eyes...oh yes, she was just a flattering little thing. He actually hoped she really liked the colour blue...

He wasn't sure why either.

"I would have said Elf myself...the ears and all...I'm...sorry about your parents." But the spots weren't normal. That didn't say Elf but...oh how he loved her body. He wasn't just fixated on the spots though...she didn't have exotic arms or legs, she did have great breasts and a nice butt, but it wasn't like they were different, or four of them. He didn't actually think that four breasts would be sexy...no, that'd be weird. He shook the thoughts from his head, just sticking on the spots and those cute little pointed ears of hers.

Once more he sat back and tapped on his lips as he thought about her questions. What should he ask? He could ask anything, she even seemed...to want the questions. He had some things he wanted to ask, like if he was her first...or what happened to her parents. No...those were not...one night questions. "Where did you come from? I mean, you are new in the city, so where did you come from? And...what would you like for breakfast?" Their breakfast idea had gone ignored, and he was honestly hungry, and quite thirsty. He had sweat a whole lot last night, and lost a lot of fluids, and now he wanted to refill himself. After all, there was no telling what they would be doing later on. Even if it was just walking around the city, or if it was...having some more alone time.

He wanted to make sure she would enjoy the time.

Anonymous

She did enjoy the questions. They gave her opportunity to try out her new personality, her new shell that seemed to want to take over her. If she was going to hold onto this...this new Asyel, she may as well practice opening up as much as possible. She didn't see herself leaving him anytime soon, and vice versa. So this whole façade seemed to be here to stay, for the time being at least.

But each question seemed to get harder to answer, excluding what she wanted for breakfast. She looked at her hands, trying to think of a good answer. She had no 'specific' place she stayed, though she liked to reside in Connlaoth. She didn't know why, but the lack of magical power comforted her. She liked the fact that she wouldn't have to really worry about being burnt alive or tortured mentally. She liked that magic use was prohibited and taken care of quickly if discovered. It was just an extra security for her.

But being an elf-like creature in Connlaoth drew a lot of attention. And the four dots on her head only added to that attention. People often grew suspicious of her, thinking she was going to use magic on them or cause trouble for the town she was staying in. But she knew no magic, had no powers, nothing...not yet at least. She could, at this point, be almost considered human if it weren't for those spots or her ears. She cursed them every time she walked out on the streets, always attracting unwanted stares and suspicious glances. It was one of the many reasons she was so self conscious in big crowds of people. She would forever feel uncomfortable, no matter where she was.

She looked back up at him, biting her lip. She took a deep breath, putting a smile back on her face. "I am from Connlaoth. Before my family...died, I lived in Reajh. But after some things happened, I somehow found my way to Sirantil Valley. I've been living there ever since. But I just wanted to find a new place to stay, a place more accepting of...my type." She breathed, realizing she had tried to say all of that in one breath. She suddenly began to feel nervous again, the questions breaking away at her new personality. That would have to be all the questions for now.

"Oh yea, breakfast." Her stomach let out a small growl. Perhaps food would be a good idea, and probably something to drink as well. Last night had been quite an experience...and quite the workout. It left her exhausted, especially since she hadn't eaten much that day. Yes, a meal would probably be for the best. "I'll have whatever you are having." She wasn't accustomed to eating in any sort of place aside from peoples' homes. She didn't know what they served, and at this point she would be open for any sort of food. She stared at him, smiling. How had she been so lucky? Why had life decided to introduce the two of them? She didn't deserve him, and he deserved better. She frowned slightly at that thought.

He did deserve better. What was so special about her? Why would he be any sort of interested in a dirty, street girl, especially after she had been so rude to him? Why would he waste his time with someone with such little experience with people? Or why would he want to do anything with her when she had no experience in any sort of romantic relationship? It made no sense, and it saddened her. Her eyes redirected to the table, her fingers fiddling with a napkin she picked up. She wasn't about to leave him, at least not as long as he wanted her there, but no matter how long she thought about it, she couldn't convince herself that she was good enough. It just wasn't possible for her to be.

Oh there were a million questions he could ask...but he really didn't want to.

He had to ease her into this new situation, and he had to be very careful with everyone. Asking about her parents was NOT something he would be asking any time soon. Maybe in a few weeks. Gods he hoped by that time he learned her name. It would be very awkward just calling her kitten for days on end. He would have to get that damned name out of her somehow, he would have to find out her name so he could at least call her that. His mind wandered back to an easier time, just a wave of his hand, a few words, and a brief stare and he could get her to spill her innermost secrets but...

This was more satisfying. He didn't know why either, he didn't want to know why, and he could almost care less why.

If only he knew more about her childhood though, he probably would be...scared. They had very similar childhoods. He however didn't grow up in a completely hateful area...Serendipity was quite a nice place, a very accepting place, though somethings were taboo even for Serendipity. He had done quite a few of them, and each one of them made him smile darkly when he thought about them. That was another thing he would do, easing her into his very debauched life style. Hopefully. Maybe. He kind of felt bad about it...guilty even, which was confusing to him. It was the alternate personality fighting him, that's all it could be, and it happened when he got too involved and let himself run wild.

He might have to actually leave her tonight to go out and...no...she was too delicate to leave her here for tonight. It had been hard enough to do last night, just leaving her here would probably be...terrible. He wasn't done with her, not by a long shot.

When she spoke, he almost howled in realization. That was it. By the Gods, that was all the reasons behind her! From the Gods Damned nation of hate and disgust. That made sense to him now, it all made sense to him! Why she had looked at him with disgust, with revulsion behind those beautiful eyes of her. He was the epitome of magical amalgamation, a hybrid of the magical species, and to her, he was no doubt some disgusting creature! Oh it all made sense to him now, he could just dance on the table! He didn't however, he sat there, leaning on the table, watching her carefully, listening to her story. Her family was dead...he actually loved the sound of that, it wasn't because he was evil but...she had no connections.

He could shape her into whatever he wanted, and he didn't have to worry about anyone looking for her!

"Well, I was thinking some fried eggs, a bit of sausage, some toast, and a bit of sliced potato." He told her with a small smile. "I expect you to eat all of it though." He told her as he hardened his gaze slightly at her. "I don't...want you to pass out on me again..." A woman came by at that time, and he put in their orders, as well as for large glasses of juice. They really needed to hydrate themselves again, and he really wanted her to actually eat something. There was still even some soup upstairs, and he knew that would be...well hopefully someone would clean the room up. Perhaps wash the sheets as well. Heh.

She started fiddling with the cloth napkin, and he reached over the table to take her hands in his. He was smiling at her as he did so, staring her directly into her eyes. He had to make her feel better, she looked so nervous, like she was thinking too much. "I am...so thrilled that despite your upbringing you...well you chose to talk to me last night...and that you've...well that you've stayed around with me. I know I must be disgusting to you...but...I'm glad that you're able to look past everything." Then, to top it off, he gave her that classic smile of his. This was his way of closing it all, and he knew that she loved his smile, which really helped him out actually. He could smile all day, and around her, he generally meant it for that matter. He didn't mind smiling, and she really didn't mind either.

"Are there any questions you would like to know about me? My life is open to you my kitten."

She kept a tally on all the information she had told him, trying to remember back to last night when she had first met him, reviewing the conversations. He knew her situation, the lack of money and a place to stay. That was fine with her, anyone could spot that she was homeless from just one glance at her. He knew she got nervous easily, again easily spotted from just talking to her. But then there was this new information that he learned this morning. He knew her favorite color, insignificant information. She didn't know why he had wanted to know, but he had to have his reasons for finding out. He had tried to find out what she was, but she had tried that many times in her past, and her lack of knowledge left them both unsure.

But that last piece of information, where she was from, that was the one that she worried about. She wasn't quite sure why either. Perhaps it was just her old personality showing itself through. She had always been so against revealing anything about herself that she was bound to feel...strange about saying anything now. She wanted to break that habit, and she hoped he would help her, sort of like how he had last night. But not now. No, now she needed to recompose herself, to get back to the way she had been.

Her stomach rumbled slightly at the mention of all the food he had planned on getting for them to eat. There was no way she would be able to eat it all, but she nodded to him, as if letting him know she would try. The lady came by and Asyel smiled at her politely but said nothing. When the lady left, she redirected her eyes back at Alyxsi. She wanted to apologize for passing out in front of him, but it would sound quite silly. It had been her fault, but she hadn't planned on doing it. It would sounds quite silly to apologize for such a thing, so instead she just played with the napkin, looking down at her hands.

Her mind wandered off, thinking about why he would ever want to be with her. It made her sad to think about it, but she would forever question it, no matter what he said to her. But her thoughts were interrupted by him. He grabbed her hand, and her eyes looked back up at him. She couldn't help but smile, blushing slightly at his words. She didn't remember why she had stayed around him. She went back to last night, trying hard to remember her intentions in sticking around.

Ah Yes! Research.

She felt horrible now. She hadn't had any real intentions or feelings towards him. She had used him for her personal wants. Her eyes averted from his with an uneasy feeling in her stomach. She didn't mean to use anyone like that. She also didn't mean to...to...

To fall in love?

She looked back up at him quickly, her eyes slightly wider than before. Is that what that feeling was? Is that what fueled her actions, that kept her new personality around? She hadn't thought of it as a possibility before, but now that she thought about it, it could be the reason behind everything she said and did. But the mere thought of being in love with him...it made her stomach turn uneasily. She then realized she had been sitting silent at the table, staring at him which, of course, brought more color to her cheeks. She had heard all that he had said to her, but she just sat there, smiling like a fool.

But then it clicked that he had asked a question. She snapped back, recollecting her thoughts. "Oh! Hmm..." She glanced at him, tilting her head, thinking. What could she ask him? She could repeat the same questions he had asked her...but wait, he had already answered them all. Joy; she would have to think up her own questions. She looked at him, biting her lip slightly. Several things came to mind. "How about, what's  your favorite thing to do in your spare time? Or perhaps, what is your family like?" Were those questions alright to ask? She couldn't be sure. She sat there, still smiling, still blushing...

Still questioning what exactly she felt towards him.

If Alyxsi really bothered to think about it, everything made sense now that she shared more of her life. The fact that she was homeless, and penniless, her very nervous habits, her lack of manners so to speak...all of it made sense. Her family was dead, she was an Elf from Connlaoth, and luckily she didn't exhibit the ability to use magic, which would have made everything worst for the girl. She left Connloath, but the prejudice that was a poison in that country still hung onto her a little bit, he could see that last night in her eyes. It hadn't been the nicest way someone had ever looked at him, but it was far better than some of the girls before he wiped their minds. Ah....just the intense look of hatred, of fear, of disgust before it all went away.

So fun sometimes.

He would ensure the young woman would eat everything on her plate, he would have to exert his dominion on her a little bit, which was a troubling thing. He didn't want to appear like he was going to just force her to eat, that he would mock her, but it would seem he would need a very light touch. It helped if he pretended that she would explode if he didn't do this right. He wasn't sure if she would leave him, after last night, he was sure that he had a rather good grasp of her, but still, she was changing back to how she had been, and he would have to keep her out of that shell if he wanted any more fun to happen. It wasn't even the idea of more sex either, it was just the idea of being with her, in public, of being able to place little kisses upon her, take her out into the world and show them off as a couple. Most people would kill for a woman as beautiful as the one that sat across from him.

Alyxsi could see in her eyes, the worry, the nervousness, it was like watching a doe in the forest, which he managed to see from time to time. If she got up to go somewhere, say, to hide back in the room, he'd probably almost see her tip-toe no doubt! However, he was sure that she wouldn't try that, not now...no...he was confident that with him being down here, she'd stay. She wouldn't leave his side as long as he kept a firm hold on the situation. A few smiles here, a few reassuring words there and things would be quite focused.

At least he could convince her, at least he had her here with him now. Her blush spoke volumes, that she loved to be complimented and appreciated, and who could blame her? It probably wasn't something that she was altogether used to in Connlaoth. Now however things would be a lot different. He'd make sure of that. Something changed, her averted gaze made an eyebrow slowly raise as he wondered what she was thinking about. Maybe what to ask him. She looked guilty almost...that could not be good.

However, she went right back to him, looking at him, with those wide eyes of her again. She said nothing now, just stared at him and blushed deeply. It was cute though, he rather liked how she looked when she blushed, it seemed to just accentuate her face to no end. She finally remembered the question he had asked however, and now she sat there thinking. It was adorable to see her thinking, he could almost see the process running through head. Finally though he had some questions to answer, but...he wasn't sure what to really tell her. He would have to think some things up wouldn't he?

"Well...let's see...What do I do in my spare time...well, I lounge a lot, I try my hand at painting, I also like to read, and go to busy markets and just talk with merchants and what not." It wasn't far off from the truth either. He left out things like, practising his magical and psychic abilities, seducing, raping, and erasing women's minds...The things that she probably wouldn't like to hear him say. No, he would keep that very much to himself. "My family...well, I don't talk much to any of them. My parents stay in their little place down in the south, my sister wanders around, and I wish that I could stay in better contact with her but...we just don't get that time I suppose." Alyxsi shook his head and sighed, but perked up when the serving woman came by and deposited their plates and large mugs of juice in front of them. His eyes lit up as he flashed her a smile before he took up his utensils. Oh this looked delicious actually. He began to cut into the sausage and egg, placing it into his mouth and just letting the taste run together.

Oh it was good.

He quickly swallowed his food and looked to the woman across him, smiling at her. "I'm actually here because my parents want me to get a house here, so that they can do a bit of business here I suppose. And no doubt to get me out of their hair. So that is something that I've been thinking about doing today, maybe look for one in the fairer districts." He told her with a smile as he began to dig into his breakfast. They had done a rather delicious job with the food, and he was going to quite enjoy it actually. He took up his mug of juice and took a deep drink from it. That was what he was really looking forward to.

Her mind drifted away from the guilt she had been feeling. What she had done was horrible, yes, but he would never have to know. He wouldn't have to find out that she had never had any real intentions to talking to him, for bringing him into her room, for spending a passionate night with him. That could all stay her little secret. Everyone was entitled to a few secrets, right? Granted the poor man sitting across from her didn't even know her name yet. How he could possibly stand to call her by that pet name, she would never know, though she had to admire his...was it dedication that he showed towards her? Or was it something else. Either way she was just happy he had stuck around. She had truly enjoyed the time they had spent together and she hoped it would last for a while.

Maybe she'd even tell him her name. Who knows.

Her mind was open to wander now. She avoided the debate with herself as to whether or not she was good enough for him; the answer to her was obvious. So instead she kept her mind preoccupied with the man across from her. Charming, patient, kind, willing, confident, the list went on and on. She even began to think of him as attractive. It was a funny thing really. If someone would have introduced him to her last night, she would have thought him repulsive. In fact she had proof of that.

In her mind, she winced at that thought. She had been so very rude to him. She made a mental note to apologize for that in the future.

But now...now she couldn't remember why she had been so disgusted. What force in the world could make her think of this man in such a way? His blond, pink and blue hair, his electric blue eyes that seemed to dance when he smiled, his slender body, it all shouted to her, telling her that she had something special in front of her. Her mind no longer fought against the thought of spending the day with him, or even the night for that matter. In fact, now her mind longed for it; it wanted her to be with him. It longed for his words, his touch, the way he looked at her.

She needed him by her side.

She watched as he answered her questions, placing her chin in her hand. She smiled as he named off some of her favorite things to do. She quite enjoyed reading and lounging when she found the time to. She would love to try painting sometime, but the opportunity has never come up. Maybe in her time with him she could try it out. That could be quite fun.

She nodded when he began talking about his family. She understood how he must have felt. Not being able to go to your family if needed...it got difficult at times. But whether he didn't talk to them because he chose not to or simply couldn't was still a question. She didn't want to ask him anymore about that because...well it was personal; it was something she didn't exactly like sharing about herself. Granted her situation was just a wee bit different than his, but all the same, it wasn't something she wanted to know more about.

The silence after he stopped talking held in the air in a way that made Asyel feel slightly...awkward. Should she add something to that? She opened her mouth to speak when the lady came by with her plate. Oh thank heavens. Her stomach rumbled at the sight of the delicious meal. She felt ravenous; perhaps she could eat the entire breakfast. She picked up her fork, which shook slightly in her hand, and began eating the eggs. The more she ate, the hungrier she felt. She ate the eggs quickly, moving right along to the sausage. She listened when he continued to speak, cutting up her sausage with eggs still in her mouth.

But when she went to go swallow the eggs, Alyxsi mentioned shopping for houses. She stopped mid swallow, forcing herself to cough. Thankfully she was able to keep all the eggs in her mouth, but she still managed to blush bright red. She finished swallowing and smiled sheepishly. "Sorry." She averted her eyes back down to her plate. She no longer felt too hungry, but she had promised to at least try and finish the meal. She took a sip from the juice to clear her throat before picking up her fork again to eat.

She continued to listen to his plan. She wasn't quite familiar with the area. In fact she didn't even know where she was. She had happened upon this inn completely by chance. She would be no help in pointing him to an area where houses were readily available, but she figured he would know where some were. She would, however, be able to help him pick out a decent home. Sure it had been a while since she had lived in one, but she knew what to look for in a house. This could be fun. She smiled and picked up a small slice of potato, placing it into her mouth. The more she thought about it, the better the idea got.

This could be fun indeed.

The two of them were a true duo together, and both of them had no idea. He had no idea of her intentions, that she had not planned for anything last night to have happened. He had no idea that she had just been using him for a little food and a place to sleep. She on the other hand, would be appalled to find that the man across from her was barely a man and more of a monster. His intentions had not even been close to pure, his plans were nothing more than seduction, to get his rocks off as it were. He only wanted her for her body, he cared nothing for the woman, his true intention had just been to satisfy his deep animal urges. However, after such a night together, with such emotions and deep intimacy, the two of them were finding something together.

The want to be together.

Alyxsi on one hand, was having a fighting battle. One persona, an adoptive personality that allowed him to be open, and to show compassion, and kindness fought with the original, tried and true Alyxsi personality. The one that cared for two things, and two things only. His sister, and himself, and event hen it was a deep psychological issue that some of the most stalwart people wouldn't want to deal with. This Alyxsi was a true combination of disgusting, degenerate behaviour. There was nothing below him, rape, incest, murder, psychological and physical torture, there was no taboo for Alyxsi.

It was a fight however, it was a battle between two thoughts. In the end, Alyxsi would have to leave. He couldn't risk being stationary for too long. While no one truly knew of his deeds, eventually there was a chance someone would remember, there was a possibility that he could be discovered.

For the time being however, he wanted to be around this enigmatic woman. Whether he would ruin her and scar her for life was another matter.

Torture, physical anyway, would not be something he could handle doing to her. She was a true beauty, and she had captivated him with it. The spots had something to do with it, and it was saving her from a whole lot of pain. She had such a charm to her, such a endearing trait to her. Her personality left something to be desired, and he could hammer that away from her. She was a nervous mess at times, unless in the privacy of their room. He wanted that confidence all the time. He wanted her to never be afraid of anything, no matter what he asked, she could go through with it. He would have to start working more on that.

Alyxsi could barely remember a time in his life when things felt so comfortable. A lot of the time, answering questions like this felt invasive, the women wanted to know his nobility, his status, they wanted to know how set for life they would be if they gave into him, if they accepted offers. They wanted to please him then, they wanted to make it so he would invite them to be his bride. This was different though. This woman, this unnamed delight wasn't acting like that. She didn't care what he was, she didn't care if he really was a royal or a noble, she seemed to want to know about him. Actually about him.

It was a strange feeling, but he was prepared for it.

In the good graces of the universe, both of them were saved by the woman with the plates. He was almost sure that he heard his kitten's stomach from across the table. It was just like last night, and he knew that she didn't eat a lot, at least...she was perhaps too nervous to do such a thing. He would eventually fix that however. It would just take a little time, and that was something he could probably afford.

"You'll be alright?" There was a look of concern from her coughing fit, he did think he might actually be in trouble. He tried to bring it up as casually as possible, and it wasn't like he had asked her to move in with him. He may very well do so of course, but he could keep her here in this inn for an indefinite period of time if he so pleased. Hypnotic suggestion wasn't entirely difficult to do to people, and he planned on using his powers quite a bit today. Houses weren't cheap, at least not in the particular area he wished to purchase from. He wanted a perfect place, preferably a place that had thick walls to stop screams from coming from. He didn't know if he'd be getting into some decadent behaviour with his kitten, but just in case he slipped, just in case she found him less to her liking than before...he could act quickly.

Still, Alyxsi was almost sure that she wouldn't be against him. She was so...infatuated with him. She looked past her Connlaoth heritage to actually be with him, spiritually and physically. It almost worried him, that he would have to break her heart at some time. She probably didn't really deserve it. However, sometimes good people got hurt for bad reasons.

That was something that helped him not to care too much.

Good people got hurt for bad reasons.

In the past, Asyel knew nothing of being 'kind' or 'polite' to another being. Ever since she had been left on her own, she knew no kindness. People were always shoving her or yelling at her. And when those cursed spots appeared on her forehead, she saw no way to live a life around people again. She quickly hid herself wherever possible, abandoned buildings, under bridges, inside dumpsters, hoping to stay out of the incriminating eyes of those who saw her as nothing more than a pest. Things were easier when she was alone, and for the next few years, that's how she lived, coming out only for food and water. Every now and then she would find those who were willing to help a poor orphan girl, that is, until they discovered the spots on her forehead or her long elfin ears. Such a delicate balance between having a place to spend the night and being kicked out on the streets.

But things hadn't always been like that for her. Before the tragedy, before the spots, before her world was turned upside-down, she was like any normal little girl. She hoped for a life like the one she lived with her parents. She hoped one day she would grow up like her mother; beautiful, graceful, talented. Her mother was her role-model. She also hoped that she would be swept off her feet by someone like her dad; tall, handsome, and loving. Well, more or less, she hoped for her prince charming and perfect fantasy, someone to carry her away to a place she would spend her life in eternal happiness.

She could almost laugh now at her silly, childish imagination.

But it was strange. Something had changed, and whether it was for the better or not, she couldn't be sure. She was suddenly feeling as if part of that little girl was back, and she wasn't quite sure why. Alyxsi wasn't at all what she had pictured her 'prince charming' to be. In fact, as a little girl, she would have been terrified to hear that she would one day be spending time with a man like him. He was the epitome of everything she found vile and disgusting in the world. And yet, somehow, he had won her over. She assumed it was that smile of his that helped him to change her view about him. Or perhaps it was his charm, or maybe even his willingness to help her even though she looked as if hell had taken over. It didn't matter how or why anymore. It had happened, and she couldn't change that now.

She wanted to spend time with him, but his mentioning of looking at houses seemed...odd. She realized, of course, that it wasn't an offer for her to move in with him, but she couldn't help but question his timing. He mentioned it after they had spent the night together, after she told him her story about not having a place to go, and she wondered if maybe he had meant for it to be an invitation. Now, now Asyel. Don't get ahead of yourself. Don't get your hopes up. He hasn't said anything yet. Once she controlled her coughing fit, she looked back up at him and smiled. "I'm fine. That sounds like fun. you looking for anything in particular?" She wasn't even going to question how he planned to pay for it. That kind of money wasn't exactly something she like to think about. She continued to eat, finishing most of the meal before deciding that she was done.

She put the fork down and placed her hands in her lap, waiting for him to be done. He may not be her ideal prince charming, but she couldn't help but enjoy being around him. He had helped her in more ways than one, things that he probably already noticed. Like how she no longer looked disgusted to be around him, or the fact that she could now eat in front of him. But there were also some things he wouldn't know about unless she was to tell him. Things like how she wanted to share her thoughts with him instead of keeping everything a secret. She wanted to tell him all about her, about her wants, her fears, her feelings, but she didn't even know why. She wanted to, but she didn't at the same time. She felt that if she told him everything, he would get bored and leave. But she also felt that if she didn't tell him, it would frustrate him and he would want to leave. Such a delicate balance.

Why did everything have to be so complicated?

Alyxsi could understand her pain in a way. As a 'magical' creature, or one grouped into magic because of her people, she lived in Connlaoth where...it probably was quite terrible. On the whole, Alyxsi would probably be killed very quickly there. He was much too dependent on his magic, he needed to use it quite a bit, and despite his charm, despite his smile, his power to manipulate those...it would all be useless up there. He never had to deal with the trouble and hardships that she had to, but then again...he had abilities that she did not. He wouldn't tell her, oh god no, he dare not share that with her. He was very afraid of letting his magical and psychic abilities be known, especially to her.

It would end in a very tragic manner...well, a tragic way that wasn't controlled by him.

This could still end in a very tragic way for her.

"Well, I wish I knew more about housing, but I suppose I really only need to buy a small one..." He told her with a small shrug of his shoulders. "I mean, I suppose it should be big enough for three people...four I guess...yes, that should probably be fine."  Alyxsi told her with a small smile as he thought about just what to get. A house would be perfect now that he thought about it. He could do a lot with a house of his own, and more to the point, he wouldn't have to worry so much about...well, anything. He could hide there, he didn't have to pay, he could relax, he could bring his victims to a private place...

All sorts of things!

He finished his meal by the time she had finished as well, smiling as he thought about taking her with him. Actually...he was going to. She had to come along with him, they were...a couple now. Weren't they? Sort of. Yes, they were together in a way, as he was going to buy a house for them. Sort of. He wouldn't tell her about it, or his real reasons...but this would do really. Oh how much fun this would be really? Alyxsi really wanted to do more with her, he really wanted to find out as much as he could about her. She seemed to like opening up, to a degree, but he didn't want to do anything wrong, he didn't want to worry her or anything along those lines.

"Well...if you're done with breakfast...as I am...why don't we go to the nicer part of town and look at houses together?" Alyxsi asked her as she stood up and went around to her, helping her up from the chair with that charming smile of his plastered on his face. He wanted her to be there, she was a woman after all, and she would probably have more...intuitive knowledge about what looked nice or not. It wasn't a sexist thing, but he did know that mostly women were a lot better at choosing what looked stylish than men did. He wanted a good house, a nice house that didn't throw up any warning flags. That meant he would have to be in the good part of town, and it would have to be secure, but still look so...comely and homely.

Alyxsi was pretty sure that was going to be fun.

Anonymous

She smiled when he came over to her chair. Such a gentleman, just like when she met him. She couldn't imagine, or begin to imagine what his intentions had been when they had first met. She'd be horrified to know she had been used, or that there was a possibility that her mind had been made up for her. There were so many things she didn't know about him that would make her....overly fearful; the number of females he had manipulated, raped, killed. All of it would scar her forever.

It was a good thing she had no clue.

She breathed deeply, clearing the thought of all the people in the room from her mind. She still didn't like the thought of everyone looking at her, but somehow with Alyxsi with her that fear lessened. She felt more....confident? Was that the right word? Not really, she was still uncertain of everything, but she seemed almost more willing with him there. Almost. She didn't know how much he expected out of her, or if he expected anything more from her. For all she knew he was done with her and was just too nice to tell her to go away. No he wouldn't do that. They had such a great time last night. At least that was her opinion. But she figured if he did want her to leave, he would have the decency to say so.

Gah! Stop thinking like that, Asyel.

Besides, she hadn't taken into account what he had said. A house for more than one person. Search for houses together. He clearly didn't want her out of his life just yet. Perhaps she was not giving herself enough credit. Not that she deserved it really. Either way, she really needed to stop over thinking everything. They were together. They would be together until one of them got bored. That was it.

They paid for the meal and then the two of them walked together through the lobby. She brought herself as close to Alyxsi as she could, trying to ignore the people with little luck. She just wouldn't get used to people. She took another deep breath and continued walking. Once they were outside she relaxed a great deal. For some reason in the outdoors, the people didn't bother her as much. She looked at Alyxsi, wondering to herself if it was right to kiss him in public. She had seen people do it before, but would he care? She turned her head forward again, but glanced at him every now and then through the corner of her eye.

There was only one time that Alyxsi would ever tell his friend about his true intentions, his true reasons...and that was before he was about to erase their memories so that they would not be able to react accordingly to everything he done. Then of course, they wouldn't remember anything that he said, and well, that would be the end of it. However, he wouldn't be telling her anything like that right no, oh my no, he had so much fun to have first!

The fun of course, involved the very beautiful young creature with him.

He wanted at the very end, to have this young woman become something very different, to have her become what she wasn't. She lacked a certain confidence, and if there was one thing that he loved the most, was meeting someone, changing their lives, and then deleting everything, except for their new found confidence. Then it was funny to see how their family and friends reacted. However...she didn't have any of these. Any change that was made would be...useless. There was a slight bit of confusion as Alyxsi thought about that. What could he do about it? Would there be any point of it?

Perhaps only this was for his benefit. There was no other possible reason for him to do this...it would only be for his benefit and for no one else's. Alyxsi wasn't sure that he liked that particular notion, that this was...okay, most of everything he did was for himself but...then...this would only be his benefit. There would be no fun afterwards, no scarring of the psyche...there would be no reason to break her heart with truths. It was a scary thought, that he was just...doing this. Not to be mean, not to be evil, not to twist and destroy...it was...just because.

There was nothing said as he helped her up, and he paid for the meal, even with real money! He didn't want to use any tricks around her, just in case she saw and spoke up. It would also ruin her view of him, and he didn't much like that idea. No, he was going to have to be careful with what he did, how he acted, what magic he used. She may have been an Elf, but she was still a Connlaothian. That just meant...well it meant that she would still have fears about him. Oh yes, being careful was a top priority at this point.

Outside was much more relaxed, the two of them were a lot more open out here, and for good reason. People didn't focus on them more, they were all busy with their own things, their own lives, two strange people walking down the street, arm in arm, was not something that they would particularly worry about. Even Alyxsi, with his very strange appearance, wasn't receiving a lot of looks from the people. Alyxsi decided to lead her leisurely toward the better part of town, he was smiling and humming happily to himself. He was still quite happy from last night, still very excited about what might happen tonight or later on during the day.

"What sort of...colour for a house would be nice do you think?" He asked her suddenly as he looked to her. "As someone with good taste, I'd like your opinion my kitten."

The outdoors. She could spend ages out here, alone, watching the birds flutter across the sky, listening to every sound the world around her made. Everything seemed to be in unity in the outdoors and she didn't feel judged when she looked at the variety of creatures that existed in the world. Before coming to Serendipity, when she wasn't hiding away from people, she was in her own secret clearing, laying in the soft grass and watching the world around her move. She didn't often find a time when she was able to get away to do that, but it sure did relax her.

She felt that same sort of relaxation here.

Even though there were people around, she somehow convinced her mind that they wouldn't judge her out here. She was free to do what she pleased without getting too many funny stares. She leaned into him, this time not out of fear of the other people, but because she simply wanted to be nearer to him. She had to thank him sometime in the future to thank him for that. He was the reason her mind had shifted and was still shifting. She smiled. It was like he had some sort of physic way to change people's way of thinking.

No that was silly.

She didn't know where they were heading, but she wanted to follow him. She wanted to be with him as long as the universe would allow. She would fight to keep him by her side, and unless he told her otherwise, at his side she would stay. And based off yesterdays events, he didn't seem to get rid of her anytime soon. He had come so far with her to give up now. He had struggled through her strange personality flaws, her fainting spell, her inexperience, and now look at them. They were strolling down the street, hand in hand, looking at houses together.

It had been a while since anything had been said, both of them enjoying the day. She was listening to him hum, learning the melody and beginning to hum along. She hadn't realized he had stopped humming until he spoke. She looked up at him while smiling. "Hmm?" She hadn't even thought about that. She had always loved beige houses as a little girl, but it seemed like those were so common now. She wasn't sure if the usual was good anymore. She didn't know if she wanted the common, usual, normal things anymore. She wanted to try new things, but she wasn't sure exactly how long that would last for her.

She tilted her head to the side, biting her lip and thinking. No she couldn't think of a better answer. "You know I think a nice beige house would be lovely. With a darker roof." She smiled, hoping that would be an ok answer. She felt strange having people ask for her opinion. It was nice, but she felt like she would say something wrong. What if he didn't agree? She looked forward again, continuing to walk close to him. If he thought he wouldn't like her opinion, he wouldn't have asked for it.

They walked in silence a little longer, Asyel following where Alyxsi lead her. She looked back up at him and went back to wondering what was ok for them to do in public. She played with his fingers a little and looked straight ahead again. That seemed ok. Her mind drifted some more, thinking some things over. A few minutes later, she took a deep breath, having thought one thing in particular over. She had been thinking about it for a while, but now she felt sure that she was ok with it. She kept her eyes forward. "It's Asyel by the way." She paused for a while, feeling odd. It was out there. He knew her name..or at least a word. Maybe she should clarify. "My name...it's Asyel." She tried her hardest to keep her eyes from looking at him, but she slipped up. She looked up at him and blushed. "Sorry I've kept it a secret this long."
