She heard her name and then her shoulder was grabbed abruptly and she gasped, jumping back a little.  Her eyes shot open and she stared at Jak with fear in her eyes.  What were they???  She trembled in his grasp, still trying to pull away timidly.  She heard his words, but wasn’t paying attention.  She was too scared and focused on his face.  Juun then flinched as Roo yelled at her.  When Roo jumped at her, she ripped from Jak's grasp and scooted further back on the ground.  She had no idea what to do right now.  She was afraid of them at the moment.  Her heart raced in her chest snd her shakiness was very noticeable.  She was stricken by fear and all she could focus on was not crying even more as those tears still ran down her face.

Anonymous

Jak's pale hand hovered in the air for a moment before dropping back to his side, the shoulder it had been holding wrenched away and attatched to the shivering little Juun. She was...
...frightened of them?
Roo sat back a bit, steadying herself on her brother's shoulder as she continued to kneel on his lap. She bit her lip in apprehension before trying to speak again. "J..Juun...?" She tried, her soft voice wavering with the first hints of hurt. Juun was afraid of them! But why!? They hadn't done anything to her...!
...Had they...?

Jak's face tightened then and he looked sharply at the ground. He looked angry on purpose. In fact his eyes were stinging with the promise of tears. Then in one fluid, brisk movement he removed Roo from him and stood, striding off surprisingly well in his new, older body. He ripped into the restaurant they had been planning on entering, just needing to be away right then.

Roo, suddenly sitting on the ground in puzzlement, stared after him. She then sighed lightly, her own lips trembling. "Oh no Juun...you hurt his feelings..." She whispered. Then she looked at the lovely, but frightened, young lady. She sniffled, now crying herself. "And you hurt mine too. We wouldn't ever hurt you..." She then jumped up as her sobbing burst out, and dashed for the restaurant as well, tears pouring from her eyes as only an eleven year old girl can manage.
How could Juun even think to be frightened of them!!

Anonymous

As Jak and Roo had ran inside, Juun scooted up to the building's wall and huddled up, wrapping her arms around her knees and crying silently hiding her head.  She wasn’t commanded to follow them, so she wasn’t forced to.  She just sat there, trembling as tears ran down her face.  She had a right to be scared.  It wasn’t fair...  She was afraid of everything...  Well, what did they expect??  She had just witnessed some very unnatural things just now...things she was not used to.  Her body felt weird...invaded...  She had no clue what to do.  She was so frustrated now.  She would give anything to be back in her mother's arms right now...

Jak had gone from hurt to pissed in a matter of minutes. He sat brooding in a shadowed booth near the back of the eatery, slouched down, now longer arms crossed over a now more muscular chest.
It took Roo a few moments to actually find him in the rather busy restaurant, but when the crying little girl did, she immediately tried to cling to him.
"Not now Roo. Just sit down..." He ordered gruffly, looking away from her and at the wooden wall to his left.
Roo sniffled and sat across from him, resting her arms on the table top and then proceeding to bury her head into them and begin sobbing. "She hates us!" She cried, slender shoulders shuddering almost violently and she sniffled and hicupped with her tears.

Jak only hissed angrily, hands gripping his arms tighter. He had already ordered snippingly their food, and when it arrived, he didn't look at it. Roo sniffled and lifted her head, pale eyes rimmed in red. Just the smell alone made her stomach rumble, and she gave up trying to be as miffed as Jak and dug in.
Meanwhile her brother still refused to even look at the food. He was hungry, starving actually. His newly grown body was starved for nurishment, but he knew at this point he wouldn't be able to stomach anything. With an angry snort, he created one of his dragons, having it scoop up the plate...

The door of the building opened and closed as people came and went, some casting puzzled glances down at the sobbing Juun. But one of those times, a characteristic ghost dragon slipped through, holding the plate. It floated over to her, set the plate down next to her, and then dissapeared back inside.
There was no other contact from the hurt siblings within.

Anonymous

Juun knocked away the plate of food distraughtly and stood up, glaring at the dragon as it left.  She made no eye contact with the people walking in and out of the restaurant.  She then pressed her hand on the spot of her loin where that tattoo was and frowned, lowering her head as she leaned against the wall.  She then shook her head in irritation, wiping her continuous tears and began walking off.  She passed the entrance to the restaurant and continued on, dismally.  She had to find somewhere to go...to hide...  Her pace then sped up and she ran down the street, just hoping to get distance more than anything else right now.  She was still so tired though.  She had not gotten any rest recently and was very fatigued, but the ran until it hurt so bad, even to walk.

After Roo had finished scarfing down all of the food on her plate, she felt better, and could tell that Jak had calmed, if only a little bit. By their connection to the emblem on Juun's body, they could tell that she was now very far away. But neither could muster up the emotional vigor to go after her.
Finally, after a few moments of strained silence, Roo spoke.
"We should go find her..."

Jak's sharp gaze flicked to her, and she winced and drew back, frowning. Jak's voice was just as cold as his stare. "She never wanted to be with us anyway. Let her go if she damn well wants to." He glared back at the wall, teeth grinding almost painfully against each other. It was so damn frustrating! They save her stupid life and she treats them like blistered, three headed monsters! So fine, if she wanted to run off and get herself into more trouble, then that was fine with him.
Last time he ever went out of his way to save someone aside from himself or Roo.

And DAMMIT, now they were both in older bodies, all for her! For her they gave up a chunk of their lives, of their youth! And then what does she do??? She runs off crying!
"F*CK!!!" He roared suddenly, slamming his fist into the heavy wooden table before storming back out of the restaurant.
It had been so sudden that even Roo had screamed in startled surprise, along with about half of the restaurant. But she quickly regained herself and ran after him.

Outside, it was dusk, but much darker due to the rainclouds that had drifted in. It was raining, and a soaked, fuming angry Jak stood at the edge of the street. He took a few deep breaths, nails digging into the palms of his hands. His anger had even manifested a few hissing, snarling ghost dragons, which floated about his form with nothing to do but display his frustration for all to see.
Roo sighed, standing back from him, getting just as drenched as he. She knew it was pointless to try to speak to him now anyway...

Little did either of them know, the mark that bonded them to Juun had grown stronger with their spell and the heat it had pumped through Juun. Even so far away as she was, she would suddenly be hit with the hurt and anger and frustration that Jak felt, as well as the saddness that he shared with Roo. Puzzling though it may be, the fact that the dragon marking on her was now glowing would more than likely explain to her from where those feelings were coming from...

After a while of running, Juun collapsed.  She fell to her hands and knees, still crying in frustration.  She found herself in an alley somewhere and now it started to pour.  Panting, she screamed, wanting it to be as loud as she could, but no sound came forth.  She crawled against a wall, now soaked again as the rain beat down on her, and curled up.  Her hand clutched that tattoo under her loin as the emotions raged through her.  Stop it!  Just stop!  She shook her head violently, unable to push away Jak's emotions she felt.  Why?!  Why did they do his to her?!  She cried even more, sniffling and sobbing silently.  Then a sudden thought came to her mind.  Death...  She could just end it so quickly right now.  She could kill herself.  This immediate thought was probably sent back to Jak and Roo if the bond worked both ways.  But she still never thought of that.  She had no intention of bleeding her emotions back to them when she got the idea for suicide.

Anonymous

Finally, Jak forced himself back under control. He very rarely lost it like this, and always felt ashamed when he did. He forced his fingers straight, ignoring the trickles of blood that ran down them from the cuts he made into his flesh with his own sharp nails. He took deep, soothing breaths in through his nose, and let them out through his mouth. Slowly, the dragons around him calmed, and then dissapeared, as he used sheer force of will to calm himself.
Roo slowly came up beside him, not really touching, but letting her presence there be enough.
"I'm sorry R..."

His spine went stiff, as did Roo's. Both of their gazes flashed down the path Juun had taken, that one thought sending spikes of cold into their very hearts.
Death
"She better not!" Jak hissed and was off, bolting as fast as his new legs would take him, Roo struggling to keep up with her older brother. The rain and wind whipped at them, nearly blinding their squinted eyes, soaked white hair plastered to their faces and head.
Jak was quite a bit ahead of Roo by the time they were halfway close to Juun, arms and legs pumping almost wildly, white tunic and pants practically translucent at this point from all the water that sloshed off of them. He nearly slipped more times than he could count, but absolutely refused to stop.
He wasn't going to let her kill herself, not after something so stupid as this.
He wasn't going to let it happen!!

Jak nearly missed the alley opening in which Juun was huddled, and literally went down. He stopped, but both legs flung out to the side of him and he had to catch himself gruffly with both hands on the muddy ground.
It didn't even phase him.
Skittling back to his feet he dashed into the dark alley, skidding to a hault in front of Juun and basically collapsing, just happy to find her alive. Relief washed through him and he tilted his head back, trying to gasp in more air. Blood oozed rather steadily from his palms, both from the cuts he had accidently inflicted on himself, and from his fall, bits of gravel lodged in his flesh.

His legs felt like rubber, and he stayed how he had fallen, tangled into a sort of indian-style sitting. Sopping hair still hanging in his eyes, he stared at Juun as he gasped for breath. Ok Jak...now you're here, what the hell are you going to say??
His gaze quickly flicked to his lap, to his bleeding hands, brows pulling together. Shit...
He hadn't really thought of that. His chest still heaving, he thought fuzzily, wet clothing and mud sticking to him. Luckily he was pale enough it was not so noticable, aside from some strange black markings that shown through the wet fabric on his chest and arms.
Finally he forced himself to look back at her. "I..." He froze, stared, and then finished, not entirely sure what he was saying or why. "I'm sorry..."

Meanwhile, poor tired Roo was still trotting along, having given up on running. She simply wasn't as physically developed or as fit as Jak, and just couldn't keep up. She only hoped he could get to her in time! She'd cry for days if Juun killed herself!!

Anonymous

Juun's head lifted slowly when Jak came skidding along.  Her body trembled and she sat huddled, knees up and arms around her chest. She winced slightly as he cam crashing to her, but she did not respond to him.  He sat there, for a moment, trying to speak and she just waited.  And then he said something.  He apologized to her.  Her head lowered in shame, and she trembled more, still looking away from him.  Her ears tipped back and she cried again, though the rain covered her wet cheeks.  Blood was barely noticeable on her black skin in the dark...and then there was a broken bottle next to her, covered with the same dark bluish blood.  Her bracers rested beside the broken glass and her bare wrists were hidden slightly, wrapped around her for warmth.  She was afraid to die...what had she done...

Anonymous

He hadn't noticed at first, hadn't noticed the smell at first. He had been too busy gasping like a fish out of water through his mouth to smell much of anything. But once he had regained his breath, he could smell it.
The scent of blood.

Jak's pale eyes very visably widened as he took in the broken bottle, the bracers, and her bare wrists coated in blood that was trailing down her arms. He very nearly fainted right then at the very thought of what she had done.
Oh gods oh gods oh gods oh gods...
"Juun!" His voice quite literally went up in pitch with his panic, a few ghosts whisping out of him with fear.
Just as Roo was finally coming down the alley, Jak was acting. He didn't really know if you could keep someone from bleeding to death if they've cut their wrists, but he wasn't just going to sit back and watch.
And to hell if he scared her in the process! She wasn't going to die, not like this...

He shuffled quickly to the side of her, hooked one arm under her knees, and pulled them away from her chest, teeth clenched with worry. "Come here, show me your wrists Juun!" He whispered tensely, pretty much keeping his upper body in the way so she couldn't curl her legs back up and block her wrists from his grasp.
Roo slide to a stop behind him and stood on tip-toe, trying to see. Breathing heavily, she couldn't even manage the gasp as Jak finally got one of Juun's wrists into view, her eyes growing to the size of saucers.
"Oh my gods Jak! Jak Jak!" She whispered hysterically, voice squeaking with fear.

Jak was too preoccupied to even notice his sister's frantic pleas. He didn't have anything to wrap this with! "Gah! Dammit, Roo, help me!" He hissed, releasing Juun's hand in order to pull the sopping wet tunic over his head. Roo nodded stiffly and knelt down next to him, assissting in ripping the cloth and trying hard to ignore the black marks along her dear brother's chest and upper arms. They were visable on his back too, and apparently had some significance, because Roo's eyes kept flashing to them nervously as she worked.
Finally, they had completely torn his top into strips, however wet, and Jak turned back to Juun, eyes intense yet worried. "I have to tie them really tight or you'll bleed to death Juun, ok? It's probably going to hurt, and I'm sorry, because I can't help that."
He held out an urgent, torn up hand to her in the hopes she would just give him her wrists so he could attempt to save her. Roo's eyes flickered a bit as she saw Jak's bloodied palms, but didn't say anything.
The blood was....silver?
It would explain why he and his sister were so pale...if their blood held no color, then their flesh really didn't either.
"Please Juun?" He whispered, staring hard at her, gold tinted horns a bit longer and clearly visable atop his wet head.

Her ears fell back and she lowered her head more as her name was yelled.  Before she could react, Jak was on her, pulling her knees out of the way and pulling her hands from her chest.  His words muffled slightly to her as she had begun to get dizzy.  She put up little-to-no fight against him, letting him see her wrist, her movements slow and tired.  Now she heard Roo's voice, but didn’t bother to look up for her.  She sat there obediently as the two frantically tied her wrists and her weary eyes wandered about his pale skin and those markings.  She was too tired and incoherent to nod her head for him.  She just sat and waited.  What were those markings...??  Her eyes slowly closed and she didn’t flinch as her wrists were wrapped tightly.  She then moved her arms slowly and she opened her eyes a little, reaching for Jak.  Once her arms were around his neck, she buried her face into his cheek, still crying.  Her lips moved, forming the words 'I don wanna die...' as she whispered them in his ear, using wind from her throat to whisper with no vocal chords, and her thoughts shouted it loudly in fear.  She clung to him weakly, trembling as she buried her face again and quickly passed out.

He took her wrists and, having Roo hold them for him, wrapped them as tightly as he could without completely cutting off blood flow to her hands. His fingers trembled as he worked, slowly becoming numb due to the cold rain and his cuts and scrapes. He hissed in frustration as his fingers fumbled for a moment, until Roo reached over and finished tying off the last of the knots for him.
"Thanks Roo..." He said softly, but she just nodded and put one of her arms around his bare shoulders. But she was careful not to touch the markings.

The rain still beat down on them, and he knew he had to get them all into some shelter. He thought he might have run by an inn not too far from here...
Jak blinked as Juun slowly reached for him, almost tempted to pull away. But her arms went around his neck and he watched her, confused, as she came in close. Her face rested cooly against his and he gulped, unsure as to what he should do. He felt her mouthed words, and sighed through clenched teeth, that fear and anguish rushing through him again.
He didn't want her to die either...

And without warning she passed out, slumping against him and nearly falling back, if his arms hadn't quickly caught her. "Alright Roo, let's get out of the rain." He mumbled, quickly scooping Juun up and quite glad now for the bigger, stronger body. She wasn't too heavy, but it was still a burden for his 13 year old frame, tired as it was. He quickly summoned out some dragons to help, and then trotted back out onto the street and down the way they had come.

It wasn't long before he found that inn and entered it, getting all the medical help he could muster from the patrons of the house as he explained Juun's predicament.
It was only sheer exhaustion that forced Jak and Roo into sleep, both curled up on the side of the bed on which their poor Juun lay, newly bandaged and dry.
For once, Roo was not clinging to her brother, curled up closest to Juun and unwilling to touch Jak's open marks.

Early the next morning, Juun awoke.  Her eyes opened slowly and she turned her head to see Roo and then Jak on a bed with her.  She blinked for a moment and then pulled up her hands, examining them sadly.  She frowned and rolled over, facing little Roo.  She looked at the sleeping girl and then past her to Jak, who was also asleep.  She let out a sigh and curled a little, reaching a hand up to caress Roo's cheek.  She then sat up slowly and crept off the bed quietly.  Now sitting on the end of the bed, she sat hunched, her ears tipped back and she held her wrists out in front of her, staring at the bandages.  Jak didn’t let her die...  She wiped a fresh tear from her face and turned to look at Jak defeatedly.  Getting off the bed silently, she walked over to Jak's side and knelt down on the floor beside him and brushed his bangs gently.  Her expression was apologetic and also frustrated still.  'Thank you...I guess...' she mouthed.  She then turned around and sat, leaning against the bed beside Jak, lowering her head with another sigh.  She sat slouched back, her knees up and apart and her hands resting in her lap, hanging down between her legs.  She stared at the floor, waiting for...anything.

Roo didn't so much as twitch as he cheek was carressed, still pretty much out cold. Yesterday had just been a bit too taxing for the youngest member of the trio, and she definately needed the sleep.
She still didn't stirr even as the bed dipped and moved as Juun removed herself from it.

A few muscles in Jak's sleeping face flickered lightly as she brushed his bangs gently, but he did not wake either. He still had no shirt on, the rags of it now long gone. They had been able to get fresh, dry bandages for Juun here. And for that matter, he got some as well, for his hands. Therefore, those stark black markings were still visable, and since he slept on his back, those along his shoulder blades were hidden. The long, twirling black marks thick where they started and then thinned as they wove about his pale skin. They sat in the middle of his chest and whisped out to the left and right across his slender pectoral muscles and just barely reaching each nipple before dissapearing, having thinned more and more until there was nothing left.
There were also some that started around his belly button and curled upwards, along the middle of his stomach, stopping just below his ribcage. The ones on his upper arms were the shortest, only making it fairly close to his elbows, the thickest parts of the tattoo-like marks being close to his shoulders.

It was only a few moments after Juun had sat, slouched over a bit against the bed before something happened. The mattress shifted, and suddenly one of Jak's wrapped hands gently rested on Juun's head. He sat up painfully, a small groan emitted as all his sore muscles, stiff from sleep, protested. Once upright, he yawned, covering it with his free hand.
He then swung his pale-panted legs over to one side of Juun, nervously removing his hand once he was awaken enough to do so. Both figiting hands now sat in his lap as he looked down at her.
"Are you alright?" He asked quietly, his voice surprisingly steady and strong.
He didn't want to wake Roo, not that she would the way she was sleeping.

Anonymous

The hand fell upon Juun's head, but she kind of expected it after the mattress moved.  Jak now sat up next to her, but sitting on the bed and he removed his hand from her head.  She heard his question and didn’t answer for the first moment, finally nodding her head after the brief pause.  She then leaned to the side, sliding into a slight angle and rested her head against his leg.  She sighed softly again, nuzzling his leg lightly as she sat beside him on the floor.  "...I'm sorry..." a forced whisper came out quietly with no vocal chords behind it.  That is the second time she had spoken aloud.  She COULD speak, but only somewhat.  But why did she not do that earlier?

Anonymous

He waited, forcing himself to be still, as she did not answer. Finally, she gave a brief nod, and he let out a sigh, not even trying to hide it. Even last night, after doing all they could, nobody was sure if Juun was going to make it. He wouldn't have slept at all if it wasn't for his mutinous body, which made him pass out most sneakily when he wasn't expecting it.
Then again, it was probably better that he did have a bit of sleep, since he didn't sleep all that often.
Insomnia.

Jak jerked very lightly and blinked down at the bottom of Juun's head as she rested against his leg. The nuzzle she gave him didn't help, forcing him to sit up straighter with a slight shiver. She had been awefully....affectionate lately. Well, more so than she had been when they first met her anyway.
He opened his mouth alittle in surprise as she forced out words with sound, though he couldn't fathom how. He then sighed and shook his head, even if she couldn't see it.
"I...I guess I should explain...what happened..." He started softly, now staring at the floor beneath his feet. He sighed, not entirely sure how to explain it.
Without really thinking about it, he let his hand wander back to her head, fingers slowly running through her hair, fairly sharp nails just barely brushing her scalp.
It calmed him enough to allow him to gather his thoughts.
"That spell we did...it was a banishing spell, the strongest one we know. Both Roo and I have to be together and touching for it to work, and it takes a massive amount of energy. It basically sends whoever our enemy is to the nether reaches of the magick around this world. It's not exactly a place...I don't really know how to explain it." He frowned, unable to find a way to describe the place, still pulling his fingers through her hair.
"Well...either way, when we do successfully complete the spell, there are certain after effects. We have to give up a piece of our youth, of our life, in order for the spell to finish and work. So we end up...forcibly aging by however many years. It varies. That's why Roo and I look older now. We age very slowly otherwise. Truthfully, I'm 18 years old, and Roo is 16. It's just that our bodies don't match that, because they age too slowly." Jak rolled his stiff and painfull shoulders once before glancing down at Juun. "Do you understand? It's all a bit...strange, I guess." He shrugged, wincing as all those sore muscles protested angrily.
To him, everything he had said wasn't strange, because that's what he had known and lived with for all of his life.

Juun listened to Jak silently as he made an attempt to explain himself.  In her mind, it was over and done and she didn’t care to know anymore...not now anyway.  She sat straight again and then crawled to her knees as Jak continued.  She let out another sigh and moved over to Jak's frontside, finally looking up at his face.  She was on her knees on the floor between his legs and watched him as he revealed their ages.  Juun tilted her head a little, waiting for a pause, her warm and unsure eyes watching him.  And then he spoke his last sentence, but before he could even get into it, Juun placed her index finger up against his lips softly to stop him, her full and mostly showing body leaning closer to his.  She then showed a little, tired smile and her finger began to slide gently down his lips and running down his chin.  She shook her head lightly, her hand sliding from his chin and caressing his cheek as her smile faded and her expression was saddened again.  She stared at her hand on his cheek, her mind wandering and then she finally looked into his eyes again.  With a trembly breath, she reached out with both arms and held his jawline tenderly as she stared deeply into his eyes transfixed on them.

Anonymous

Jak had hardly noticed Juun's moving around as he spoke. That is until she moved around to his front, pulling his hand from her head. His speech then faultered a bit as she positioned herself between his legs. His gaze quickly flickered away from hers as she stared calmly at his face. His hands fidgeted in his lap as he finished speaking, only managing to look her in the eye once he was done.
Her close proximity, needless to say, was making him nervous.

The poor teen jerked slightly as her finger suddenly pressed gently against his lips. He leaned back slightly as she came closer, a blush blossoming across his cheeks, though all that really happened was a darkening of the flesh due to the silver blood in his veins. It wasn't the normal red color of a usual blush.
He gulped as she smiled at him, trying to figure out where this situation was going before it actually got there.
Her finger trailing from his lips to his chin really didn't help in his interpretation of his predicament either.

Both pale eyes glanced toward his cheek as her hand rested there, before quickly snapping back to Juun's now saddened face. He frowned softly, wondering at the sudden change in her expression. He might have asked, but suddenly his face was cupped and he blinked rapidly at her.
What...what was she doing?? Jak swallowed nervously, both hands now clutching the bed on either side of him.
Ah hell...what was going on...?

Anonymous

She stared at the bandages that covered her wrists, moving her eyes up slightly to see Jak's expression.  She tilted her head curiously and then looked over to see his hands clamped on the bedspread tightly.  She would have gazed back into Jak's eyes, but she had a double take and blinked curiously at his arms.  Those markings...were they there before??  Juun hadn’t remembered seeing them before, but now that she thought about it, she hadn’t seen him without his shirt on either.  She intently followed them up to his chest with her eyes and then her hands slowly slid from his cheeks.  They coasted delicately down his neck, and then his shoulders, and finally to his chest.  She caressed at them tenderly, tracing them almost. She was fixed on them now, like a little kid almost.  His skin was so soft...  Her innocent mind couldn’t comprehend the assumptions behind her actions.  To her, she was being amused and inquisitive, but to others, her actions might seem mistaken for something more...

Anonymous

Jak's gaze followed hers, and he found himself staring at the bandages on her wrists. A pained expression flashed over his face and he looked away. That had been his fault...
Dammit...

He didn't realize she was staring at his markings, too deep in his own thoughts, until her fingers fell gently down his neck to his chest. He gasped in surprise and blinked down at her, his skin tingling where she touched, heart beat back to it's nervous fury. It took his mind a few tries before he suddenly realized what she was touching.

Her jerked back as though he had been burned.

"Don't touch those! They're cursed marks!!" He hissed, eyes wide. Shouldn't she know better?? One never touched the markings of a cursed being! Or at least...none dared to...
He relaxed slightly, staring at her wonderingly. It was not that one who touched the marks would become cursed as well. As a matter of fact, there were no ill effects of touching the strange dark tattoos. But they were considered dirty, unpure. And therefore, those cursed were treated like a plague, cast out and scorned. He had been half surprised when his sister refused to leave him to suffer alone, despte the curse. But even she would not, could not, touch them. Even she would avert her eyes if he caught her staring at them.
But Juun...did not know how his people treated him...

Finally, he calmed, and with a sad, tired face, stared down at his arms, which he brought before his eyes, and then down at his stomach, where more of the markings lay. "They get bigger as I age..." He whispered, noting how much longer and ornate they had gotten when his body had forcibly gained in years. Lowering his hands back to his lap, he glanced back at Juun. "Sorry...I didn't mean to yell..."
